Ugly room

Needs a lot of renovation from old carpets to old AC and old TV with no stations! No view and no privacy with the balcony. Not even small bottle of water is left at room for courtesy. Great location for going to Nissi beach and nice pool.

Absolutely horrendous. Christofinia Hotel made a serious administrative error and pressured me through my entire stay for payment to ‘resolve it’. Despite my cooperation and having provided multiple pieces of written proof that the error was not my fault, I was pressured for money multiple times per day. They threatened police involvement if payment was not made. The stay was incredibly stressful and upsetting. I strongly urge people travelling to the area to choose one of the many local hotels nearby instead. Christofinia Hotel is deliberately unresponsive: they told me to send emails to defunct email addresses in order to delay responses until after my refund period had ended. They do not respond to guests before they travel, instead bullying them once they arrive. The manager, named either ‘Kiga’ or ‘Effie’ (as she gave different names), behaves unprofessionally with an aggressive manner and no understanding of proper conduct. I had never previously been shouted at by hotel staff at the front desk before. Before booking with Christofinia, ask yourself if that is what you’d like to deal with on the way to breakfast with your family. I am shocked and appalled that this has happened and will be lodging a formal complaint.

Disgusting old toilets and furniture. Sea View room had no sea view and a double room consists of two gnome sized single beds pushed together. Everything is old and broken and the food is greasy and gross.

When we tried to move our parents to Atlantica Aeneas where we were staying they refused a refund.

This hotel barely scrapes 3* let alone 4. If Atlantica Aeneas has rooms at the time of you looking go with them you will not be disappointed. This hotel on the other hand is full of unpleasant surprises.

Upon my checkin, I was informed they have technical issues and that I will be allocated to other hotel. That hotel was very nice. Im grateful to Christofinia hotel for arranging this, it was highly appreciated. Big thanks!
Room was clean, spacious and the AC waa good.
Breakfast was super tasty.

Now negative side:

**No water available during dinner!!!!!!!!!!
You need to ask waiters to get a glass of water. It would not be the issue is the restaurant was not packed with people and only few waiters. Basically you finish your dinner before you get your water. Bring your own water, my advice. Yes, it happens in 4* hotel. One waiter finally approached me and asked me what I would like to have. I said coca cola, I guessed it is included as they just asked. But no, ai got the bill with my coke.

**Dinner is from 7pm to 9.30pm. I went once to eat at 8pm, most of food trays were empty. That was the only time I went for dinner for my entire stay.

**Espresso machine in room but you have to buy pods lol, they sell it 1eur per pod hahahhaha. Why putting espresso machine as part of amenities if you do not provide coffee?

**Pool sunbeds dated, almost impossible to lay down. There are new ones as well but so many old ones.

**Seaview room I got, you need binoculars to see the sea.

The proprietors were very friendly and helpful aswell as all their staff. The location was easy access to the beach if you dont mind sand in your toes. Only criticism would be the pool towels were a little too small.

Hotel room was not available for first night due to flood, so moved to another hotel Nissiana for one night, that was a lovely hotel and we will probably book to go there next time.
Once we got back to Christofinia, our promised upgraded room (due to having to move on the first night) was not available, so they upgraded our board from B&B to Half Board, then onto Full Board after discussion.

Sarah in reception was very kind and friendly and should be a very valued member of the team.

Hotel has a lovely clean pool and there was always sunbeds at any time of the day.

The food was hotel average, I could not work out why the hot food a breakfast was only luke warm at best and in the evening it was hot.

Only one set of 3 very slow coffee machines at breakfast, so queues formed, they could do with another set on the other side to avoid this, or even just a hot water urn and tea bags/coffee sticks.

The bed was a bit hard for me, however they put on a mattress topper straight away, which made it much better.
There is a kettle and cups in the room, though you may want to bring your own tea and coffee.
Free safe and air conditioning.

Most waiting staff efficient, only the lady with the glasses was always smiling and spoke to you.

They appeared to be bumping a lot of customers out on the first night so not sure how many rooms were 'out of action' or some other booking issue.

The hotel is nice, clean with good stuff. But for a 4* hotel there should be at least water in the room, or dining area. The restaurant is the weak point of the hotel, the rest is ok.

We had an amazing stay at Christonfinia. Whilst the exterior may not look as fancy as surrounding hotels, the rooms are modern and comfortable, the pool and swim up bar are great and the breakfast in the morning was one of the best I’ve had (crepe bar!)

Not Luxurious but very comfortable and convenient!

Well located, sea across the road. Village centre reasonably close. Modern, new and all areas extremely clean. Fantastic big pool with submerged bar. Most families with children. Rooms very spacious although storage area very limited. Minimal toiletries. Very good free wifi. Excellent a/c unit. Fridge in the room plus safe box(rental charge for safe). Unfortunately no kettle for coffee/tea. Large beds with extremely comfortable mattresses and pillows. Big selection for breakfast buffet . Rooms have small balcony with pool view.

This place is super nice. It is just right next to Adams Beach Hotel, which is a very expensive hotel in Nissi beach area. This hotel is right next to it, super close, 1 min walk, but so much affordable in price.Strongly recommended. They borrow towels for pools, great breakfast, staff are super kind. Perfect stay indeed.

It is a nice hotel, has a nice pool and comfortable rooms. On the other hand, the breakfast is very very very poor, the wifi is not available for free in rooms and it is frustrating. The good thing is that it is near Nissi beach and far from the crowdy side of Ayia Napa.

The hotel was dirty cockroaches in stuck in the bathroom light dirty floor not even cleaned the next day , you have to pay for everything from towels to internet . Paid for sea view got non of that . I thought I lost my key card they wanted me to pay 10€ but I did not and then I found it . I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone frankly waste of time and money thank God we did not spend the day at the hotel .

Needs work to bring to a 4 star standard

Spacious modern room, corridors and stairs area on floors dates and not well looked after. Big choice at breakfast, but food mostly tasteless, nice coffee and fruits though (all other items too many to mention but not worth even trying out). Also Wi-Fi as not free and quite expensive.

Staff extremely friendly and ready to assist in any way.

Hotel was very nice. The staff are brilliant and are always there to help with a smile.
Large pool with a well stocked pool bar.
Food was really nice for all inclusive.
The room was a good size with a comfy bed. The only downside was that the shower pressure was very poor. But would definitely stay again.

Good Hotel

The hotel is situated on the main road, couple of minutes away(by car or bus) from the center of Ayia Napa in a calm area. The bus station is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel have a swimming pool with an integrated Jacuzzi(but I stayed for 4 days and it was broken) the pool is not accessible after 7 so if you are searching for a night swim you can't find it in that hotel. The pool bar is good it offer cheap drinks. The restaurant is also good. The service is good. The breakfast is average and served in a nice big area.

Stayed in the hotel for 1 week.... Perfect location in Ayia Napa away from the night clubs so sleeping is good but still close to the beach 5 min walking to nissi beach most rooms are partial sea view although for us we didn't care as we didn't spend much time in the room....as for the negative side everything is extra like towels & safe box.... They gave us a free upgrade as it was our 1st anniversary.... Would repeat if we go to Cyprus again.

A question that should be answered! The rooms are very tight, the bathroom's light is always dimmed. The hotel nearly charge you for everything i.e. towels, internet access. The breakfast buffet is not rich at all, english breakfast, with jams and toast bread.

Sea view ? What sea view ?

I booked a room with sea view. However, my room was on the 1st floor and I did not have any sea view. Be careful in this hotel \"the sea view\" is practically non existent - or maybe there is some distant sea view from the rooms on the top floor. I wanted to change the room, but the hotel staff was very unwilling about this.
Book this hotel only if you get a low rate, otherwise it is not worth the money.
I did not like the written messages displayed in the hotel: \"Do not take food from the breakfast room\", \"Do not enter wet the hotel\", \"Do not consume your drinks and food at the swimming pooll\". They do not create any relaxing holiday atmospere. It takes 10 minutes on foot to get to Nissi Beach. Same with the shop..

Bien- debe mejorar servicio camareros y desayuno

Que un hotel de 4* tenga piscina pero con agua como el hielo - no importe que es octubre- me parece incomprensible. Es un servicio pagado que no puedes disfrutar para nada.
El personal de la cafetería podría poner una sonrisa, estaban todo el rato como tristes y sin ganas de nada. No comunican nunca, si les pides algo simplemente te lo dan si contestar. El desayuno se repito todos los días sin incorporar nada diferente.

Cosas buenas : el hotel es limpio, bastante cuidado, instalaciones ok - no estaría mal un recambio para el aire acondicionado.
Posición casi perfecta, a 3 minutos de Nissi beach.

Strand ist in 5 min Flussläufig zu erreichen und mitunter das beste an diesem Hotel. Relativ schöner Poolbereich, jedoch kein service.
Nachtdienst war Katastrophal und hat uns laufend auf Griechisch beleidigt während er vor sich hinmurmelte. Frühstück war gewöhnungbedürftig, hat uns eher an eine bahnhofshalle erinnert, sehr kalt und karg. Personal ist sehr genervt und gestresst, dadurch auch nicht zuvorkommend. Wenn man abends noch etwas essen möchte wird man gezwungen in der kargen halle zu sitzen, Abendessen auf der Terrasse ist nicht möglich(den Grund konnte uns der Chef auch nicht sagen- so haben wir es eben immer gemacht)- auch nicht a la cart. Putzkräfte kommen ins Zimmer trotzdessen dass man noch im Zimmer ist und fangen trotz mehrmaligem „no“ an zu putzen. WLAN gibt es nur in der lobby, in den Zimmern muss man zusätzlich dafür zahlen.
Alles in allem hat der Strand und die Umgebung alles wieder wett gemacht jedoch ist das Hotel auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert!

I have stayed in many hotels in my life. But I have never checked out early. I booked 9 nights and checked out the very first day. Heres why:
When I arrived I was told I got a lovley room, turned out it was filled with cigarette smoke wich you smelled. I was told by the staff that it was not possible because of the fire alarm ( guess that dont work) but got a new room. The new room was much older and had a lout of trouble. First I noticed that the ac was really old and didnt work unless you were in the room. And it took 3 hours to make the room barabel to be in. It had a carpet that was sticky under your feet. The bed was really hard and uneven in the mattress. The towels was not feeling clean. And the toilet leaked and when I told the staff about this they said that the fomrer guest did not complain. And a man in a suit came up and flushed and said it looked alright. When I was out for o while the first day the safebox was locked but when I came back it was opened, but nothing was missing.
The corriodrs in the hotel was more hot then anything I previous have encountered.
I never tried the breakfast or the pool area.
The area around was okey.
I switched hotel and had in the end a really amazing holiday, altought it cost me a alot to pay for two different hotelrooms at the same time. But my experience with Christofina hotel made that worth it!
