Everything was excellent. The only concern was the wind outside was incredible intense. It was extremely loud; it howled, roared, and sounded like it spoke in tongues... The wind also created a speculative view. I watched para sailing from my balcony. They skipped across the water, jumped high into the air, and floated far above the waves. It was beautiful…

We were upgraded to a master suite free of charge. It was a beautiful room! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel was clean. We could change our towels daily. There was always a sunbed free. Beautiful views across the sea.

I really recommend this hotel, from the food to the cleanliness of the rooms to the kindness of all the staff, this hotel is one you’ll feel super relaxed and comfortable.
You also have to check out the spa and treat yourself to a massage, I’ve come back to London feeling like it was definitely worth every penny. The views to the beachfront and the beautiful sea were just breath taking. I will come back one day.

The staff make this place. They are so accommodating and friendly. There are plenty of options at meal times and always free tables for the help yourself buffet, which, unfortunately some people help themselves to just a little too much!
The all inclusive drinks are fairly standard but the cocktails taste like bad fortified wine so I would avoid. If you like evening entertainment then you will not be disappointed. If you don’t, there’s nowhere to escape except your room with a set of ear plugs. The TV only has Sky News but plenty of channels in German as well as Spanish. So take your own entertainment.
Around the pool it can be windy, but it’s warm in March. There are the obligatory pool aerobics to avoid but they’re not too pushy. The Spa is tired but a nice quiet break away from others. The staff make up for any of the downsides to this place though.

Hotel was clean and room was spacious with large deck overlooking beach/sea. It had a sitting area and two twin beds. Unfortunately, being on the first floor you could hear patrons in the dinning area and entertainment spaces. Buffet food was average, but limited on vegetarian selection with similar items. Also, I did get sick the last day, but uncertain if from the food or something else. Unfortunately only one restaurant available that was included, could get 20% off at other restaurant. Drinks were okay, but no local beer included and certain drinks also cost extra. Did appreciate reusable cup system at pool. Pool area was very nice and plenty of sitting, however felt hours too short 9 to 6pm. Also, due to winds had plastic/glass wall, which obstructed view of the ocean as wasn’t easy to see through (needed upkeep/cleaning). There was a walk way in front, but no place to sit. Beach area was adjacent and public, no chairs or loungers available. Spa needs some updating. Sauna bench had large splinters. Several items not working or pieces broken/missing. Would have liked some directions on spa process. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Appreciated nearby store, water was very affordable here. Hotel not near a lot.

The cleaners appeared to be rushed and the clients' rooms suffered. There were shoe prints in the shower where it had been cleaned and t bags were not replenished. The sink plug hole would not stay pressed down therefore I could not get a bowl of water for washing. The TV was faulty and programs often had the sound out of synch, and therefore made little sense. (island reception?)The breakfast foods, while the choices seemed to be plentiful, were disappointing. Eggs were always overcooked and there were too many left at the end of the breakfast session, along with bacon left in huge wads and other items over catered. The granola was not actually granola and had other cereals mixed in. Granola then ran out and despite asking reception on a number of occasions, carried on just being a mixture of all the other cereals. It was awful. The outside area by the pool was scruffy and all the glass, both looking at the sea and for the spa were opaque due to not being cleaned (perhaps another cost cutting decision). In the past a massage was offered with a token but now this was to be paid for from the outset and was overpriced. People routinely put their towels on sunbeds despite the rules which often meant there were no sunbeds (unless you moved someone else's belongings). This rule needs to be displayed much more visibly and enforced. 25E for dinner was not commensurate with quality and should be on a tariff where one can pick and choose for a suitable price. There is more.

It was slightly remote and there was no public transport into the town. We were told it was a 10 min walk but it took us about 30 minutes.
There was a serious lack of entertainment in the evening unless you enjoyed karaoke or bingo.

Well located for the airport and right on the coast. Hotel and food both ok to good but not amazing - but then you are not paying 5 star rates either. Location a bit removed for local options, trip pickups etc - fine if you want a quieter time but just be aware that trip options are a bit limited as a result as not everyone will pick you up. Also the hotel has a large central atrium which looks great, but can also make the rooms a bit noisy in the evening from downstairs activities - although it never went much after 11pm so never kept me awake

We spent a very relaxable 9 days here. Staff are friendly, lots of different entertainment choices at the hotel and plenty of food options. Only downside is the wind. However they do have a room where you can have a shower and change before leaving to go to the airport if you need it after you have checked out.

Very nice hotel. I enjoyed the fact it was out of the way of the clubs and bars etc. it's a quiet area and the nearest town is a 20 mins walk.
All the amenities were provided. Bed was comfortable, AC was available. Nice view of the sea and all the kite surfers. Check in was easy. Lots of food choices available for breakfast lunch and dinner. Check out was easy and at midday, you have the option to keep the room on for the day at €40 if you so wish too and you can still use the hotel facilities until you leave.
Night entertainment provided by the hotel was fun, different every night.
Swimming pool was nice. Plenty of sun loungers and a pool bar.
There is a supermarket next door and ATM.
There is parking in front of the hotel. But be aware, everyone local uses it also to go to the beach.
I would definitely visit this hotel again.

This was claimed as a 4 star hotel when it was not the quality of this at all. We arrived at approx 11am on the 17th and enquired about the free upgrade and were met with a sharp response from the receptionist that they were full. Also the free spa service was actually a 2 hour free access to the facilities, not quite a service. We went to lunch and could see the bread was out, likely from breakfast, and some was stale already (this was confirmed from our following day there that the same bread was left out exposed all day and very stale by the time it came to dinner). We were advised our room would be ready at 2pm, we returned at 2pm and were told it would be a further half hour. Whilst awaiting I could see the fish pond area was very dirty, the furniture appeared worn and dated. The junior suite we had been assigned had an exposed fuse box, towel rails that fell off and dirty spoons and mugs. Food was not always fresh and barely warm, the quality being poor overall. Sun beds were torn and dirty and no towels were available when we initially went to the pool despite being given a towel card, we had to wait 50minutes. The gym had rusty equipment and was clearly not attended to hourly to be cleaned despite the sheet in the room claiming to be signed as proof of cleaning. On a positive note the other staff we met were friendly and attentive, we had a Mountain View as requested.

Predominantly fab - few small improvements needed

Loads of really great things about this hotel - 24 hour desk, lovely pool, immediate access to beach through front and rear of hotel, proximity to airport, free parking, fridge in room, quick to fix any issues.
Friendly staff. Very good breakfast and rooms lovely and spacious, pretty modern with gorgeous balcony.
The only things that let it down were small things like lack of toiletries provided (not even soap). Small time window for changing towels which can sometimes be a bit inconvenient, we were on the 5th floor so amazing view but noise from the treadmills at the gym on the 6th floor.
It’s one of those hotels with entertainment provided in the evening which wasn’t our cup of tea and they invited musicians to play in the lobby which does go all around the hotel so you can’t really escape the noise which went on until around 10.30pm sometimes.
Also they charge for pool table (1 euro per game) and use of the room safe (3 euros per day) I feel it’s unacceptable to have to pay to keep your valuables safe ok holiday given what we paid for the room.

I really liked this hotel. The hotel is in a lovely location and is very posh. The food however was terrible. The food was not restaurant quality at all…catered to more mediterranean tastes but in a low quality manner. Food was too salty and just kind of weird for example one night they served hot dogs which i thought “finally something nice and simple not bad to mess up”…hot dogs tasted so disgusting and “mystery meat” like that it ruined our appetite for the whole day.

I like the fact that it was for adults only. It is a nice hotel and very good rates. Breakfast was good..
If you are looking to pretty much stay around the property and use the amenities there, than this is a good place for you. If you want to be closer to the main towns of Los Christiano's or that area where there is more action than it would be wiser to get a hotel closer. Taxi one way is about 35 Euros.

Fantastic hotel sitting just outside of town but an easy walk into the many fantastic restaurants and beach.
There is also a good beach adjacent to the hotel.
The breakfast selection in the hotel is superb.
Be aware that this hotel sits on a headland and can get quite windy (certainly in January when we visited)

Quieter than Plyr d America’s or Pdl Cruz.
Small Supermarket restaurant and atm built in same building/block as hotel, everything else around 1km across the bay.
But hotel was great and sea view was one of the best I have seen, south facing with no obstructions.
Breakfast was very good and the room was very spacious
Also very close to airport 20mins in 15€ taxi.
I will return to this hotel again for sure.

This property has a beautiful ocean view by the beach. The property is kept in excellent condition and pristine.
The food needs more variety and less salt (please).
The staff were fabulous, to name a few Front desk - Fabian and a lady that checked us in(sorry can't remember her name), bar and restaurant - Susana, gave great service, in the entertainment - Eva and Sarah, they were great getting the guest involved with the activities.
The only thing I would have appreciated more was not to be all squeezed in one room (billiards/tv room). There was another tv room on the opposite but was not used.
All the activities dance lessons, karaoke, bingo, and more were squeezed into this billiard room which doesn't make sense and delayed the activities. So we decided not to stay and went up to our hotel room.
Dancing should be on every night in the basement(lowest floor) where we could socialize.

Defintely not worth it. Super dirty hotel. The bed and the floor is full of long haira. They dont change dirty towels and cups and glasses in the room. Pool towels replacement happens every other day. The indoor pool and jaccuzy is not free and the fee is just for 1 hours use.
The AC is not working in the room and you cannot adjust temperature.

Pleasant hotel close to El Medano

The hotel looks uninspiring from the distance but is pleasant from the inside and the rooms are great especially the ones with sea views. It is a short and easy walk into El Medano where there are restaurants and plenty of water sports opportunities.

My only negative about the hotel is the noise that reverberates up the central atrium in the evenings and was clearly heard in my room e.g. the music. However, it did stop later in the evening and was not too disruptive.

Pool and beach swimming onsite. El Medano boardwalk and beach with lots of additional restaurant choices just 2km away 15/20 min walk along the coast or €4 taxi ride. Only downside was that nightly entertainment was a bit invasive if you were in a sea view room. We weren’t but our friends were. Notwithstanding that I would highly recommend.

The hotel and most of the staff were great. The rooms where huge. Plenty of choice with the food and drinks.
They don’t like to replenish milk and coffee in your room for some reason. As soon as it is 11p.m the bars are closed, will even try before if they can.
Overall the hotel and town is just such a chilled place to go with no hustle or bustle. Could do with a sports bar somewhere though.

This is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are lovely and very clean, powerful shower and comfy bed. The pool is salt water so not to everyone’s liking. It is very windy around the pool unless you sit at one side but the sun only comes over to that area around 11.30. Entertainment team try hard but overall entertainment is awful. All inclusive finishes at 11 and all bars shut so you have to sit in lobby and it is very echoey if you are in bed. Very few cocktails on all inclusive and the ones that are are disgusting! Overall a fantastic relaxing holiday but could have been made much better with a few little tweaks.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff.
We had a look at both sea view and mountain view rooms. We decided on mountain view which is a bit cheaper and there's more to see.
Rooms were clean and well maintained.
Very good range of food at breakfast as well as evening meals, more than enough to please all tastes.
Go out of hotel turn left and walk for 5-10 minutes and there's a lovely surfers bar on the beach with very cheap drinks and good crowd.
Nice little town a bit further along with plenty of pubs and diners.
Loved every minute of our stay here.

Lovely beach hotel in a nice location if you like a quiet beach. Good staff, big comfy rooms, good bars, good staff, nice pool and good food. 1 major negative is the €50 per person per use of the spa pool. Pretty outrageous when you are already paying for all inclusive. I understand treatments being pricey but not general spa pool use. That's €100 per shot for couples. Most spa hotels at least give a low rate or free use excluding treatments.

Not quite as sparkling as the photos (bathroom and exterior of the building a little dated) but non the less I would call this good value. Nice hotel a bit remote though, stands alone near the volcanic sands beach, its a good 12-15 mins walk to the town centre, which is fairly quiet but comes alive with the spanish at the weekends.
Hotel bar closes too early at 11pm. Friendly helpful staff and entertainment staff are excellent.

Great holiday!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were all amazing, friendly and easy to share a joke with. It was our first all inclusive holiday and we found it difficult to stay within the confines of the hotel, unlike most other guests. The food was always amazing, plenty of fresh fish options and my vegetarian wife was more than happy with the options. The surrounding area is quiet, the village is just a few mins walk away and has many bar and food options. There are 2 good hikes within walking distance of the hotel, Montana Roja and Montana Pelada that take 2-3 hours each. We took the optional picnic lunch from the hotel on a number of days and ventured out around the island and up the volcano to do hiking and exploring. The hotel rooms were good, perhaps not the 4 star standard we have become accustomed to at other hotels but perfectly fine considering the price. It can be quite windy in the sun bed area which is nice because you don’t get boiled by the heat of the sun. We stayed for 15 nights. The hotel gave us a free sample meal at the adjoined fish restaurant, El Ancla, this was so good, we went back and paid for a meal on another day. Hotel inclusive drinks were ok, not top shelf but we still enjoyed them.

Relaxing hotel

Great huge junior suite, sea view room overlooking the beach. Quiet location but nice 10-15 min walk into El Medano which is a lovely little Spanish town (not touristy). Staff at hotel very helpful & friendly. Food decent quality (can be a bit samey) but for 1 wk was fine. Enjoyed the red & rose wine at meals. Bar drinks were cheap varieties of vodka, whisky etc but we found them to be large measures & nice tasting. All in all was an excellent stay & we would go back.

Sea view 415 also looks over beach and misses wind..lovely to hear the sea if you leave balcony doors open...till the next time..all good!

Very Good Stay Will Be Back

Myself and my partner stayed at the hotel in mid July 2017

Location
The hotel is located in the town of El Medano on the south of Tenerife. The town itself is relatively quiet and perfect as location to get away from the hustle and bustle of Las Americas further up the coast. The hotel is around 5 to 10 minute walk along the beach from the centre of the town. The town itself has several bars and restaurants as well as a few convenience shops.

Guest Experience
The hotel itself is modern and very well kept. As you walk in there is a sense of luxury and serenity that I have not experienced with other hotels. it is worth mentioning that the hotel is for over 18s only which I see as a bonus however I know this won't be the case for all. Upon arrival we were given complimentary drinks and all facilities were explained to us. Staff were more than friendly and happy to accommodate our requests. We even got a free upgrade to a suite following the style of room we booked originally being overbooked. The hotel has a spa attached and several eateries to choose from.

Rooms
As mentioned above we stayed in a one bedroom suite so my view may be representative of a 'typical' room in the hotel. The suite was large and spacious with separate bed, bath and living rooms. The balcony had an almost exclusively sea view with the only other feature being the beach sweeping out to the right of the hotel.

Overall very pleased with out stay and would highly recommend

Lovely hotel, quiet beachside location

A quiet getaway on the beach. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Food and bar facilities were good and the hotel was very clean. The hotel is a 10 minute walk away from the town. I felt very safe as a single female traveller.

Hotel in quiet location with beautiful views.

Just back from hotel on 21st may. Couldn't fault anything about my stay.Hotel lovely & modern, staff all very friendly & helpful. Food was really good with lots of choices to suit everyone. Bedrooms cleaned every day with clean towels provided. We had lovely hot weather & although it can be breezy we were from Ireland & we thought this was great, it meant we could stay out in the sun all day without getting overheated & sticky. El Medano close to hotel & lovely to visit. Overall a lovely place to visit if you want a chilled & relaxing holiday.

All inclusive always makes for a spectacle.

I travelled for 14 days windsurffing, and even though there was no wind the hotel delivered in full for value and service. an adults hotel and no kids was refreshing.
Hotel was primarily all inclusive, although i was only half board was intersting to watch, and certainly fell left out sometimes when i decided to save th Euros.

Alround very good, and only points for improvement was.
a better Minibar that could cool wine- but then if all inclusive this is not priority. ! :(
Pool area athough well shielded from the prevailing north easterly wind- was very uninteresting. Just a stoned pool deck and sun loungers.
Add to that seas side of the pool area no seast at all to sit and wander at the ocean views.

Good hotel & excellent room.

Very nice 9 nights at the hotel. Room was excellent, very big with great sea views.

Staff were very friendly.

It's a shame the use of the spa facilities was an extra 15e per person per session. Didn't expect that and a bit of a let down.

Breakfast was good except for the sausages.

It's kept spotless, buffet is varied and cooked to a high standard.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Rooms are huge and cleaned daily.

Pay for what you get.

Big room, upgraded. Room 318 had great view and sunset on balcony.
Bathroom good.
Beds needed mattress topper.
Problem with noise scraping from floor above and also walls very thin; could hear next door sneezing.
Breakfast fine. Awful coffee/tea and watered down juice but otherwise good.

Lovely week in sun

Had a lovely stay. Junior suite was lovely with plenty of room. Food excellent quality and hard working staff. Love El Medano as it feels like a proper Spanish town and not touristy at all. Would definitely stay again.

Little touches let this Hotel down

Wouldn't class it as a 4* Hotel. Spa was good and so was the pool. Breakfast OK but nothing special. Beds were uncomfortable and small (Twin), little touches let this Hotel down, flat, thin towels when nice fluffy towels would make such a difference

Excellent holiday in great location at seafront.

Hotel located in excellent location at seafront and a short walk along the seafront and promenade to town. Large room with comfortable beds and seating area, with large balcony and good sea views. Food was of a good quality and varied. Hotel staff pleasant and efficient. Room cleaned each day. Highly recommended.

I loved the hotel service very well. Staff are very welcoming and passionate.
I was with my 2 friends, enjoyed the atmosphere and good and healthy food served.
The only section to improve is the area of entertainment when customers are bored.
I will visit the hotel again..

Nice modern hotel, most of the staff was very nice and helpful, except one member a bit rude. Having two small beds was not very convenient, but we were upgraded with a nice sea view.

Quite adult only hotel

Had an excellent quite Christmas break away from the hustle & bustle of the manic shopping that people do in the UK . Hotel was great . Lovely location on the sea front. The only criticism I have which applies to must hotels you go to, they say the have a gym & when you get there it out the way, with next to no gym gear & not maintained. This needs to be addressed as we are trying to keep people healthy. Had some great walks to the town. Over all we would definitely go back to this hotel.

Good but with some issues

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks. I can figure out the following points:
1. The receptionists were not very friendly. They smiled at us and said Hello only when we checked in.
2. We paid for the room with ocean view. They upgraded our room to junior suite apartment which had 2 sides: on the one hand the apartment was really spacious having 2 rooms but on the other hand the view was partially on the ocean and partially on the beach. We would prefer the view entirely to the ocean as we paid for it!
3. The food is not really good. We had stayed in Tenerife 3 times before and can compare with another 4-start hotel. It seems that there is everything but it is not as tasty.
4. The location is good if you are fans of La Tejita as it is only 5 mins by car.
5. There is a parking near the hotel and you can find the place any time.
6. A very important point you have to bear in mind if you want to book this hotel is that you will hear the departing planes every 10 mins which is really loud and annoying at times.
7. And the walls are really thin, you can easily hear everything your neighbours are doing.
