Sunset View Club benefits from a privileged position in the heart of Golf del Sur, at the southern tip of Tenerife. It offers a refreshing swimming pool with ocean views.

It´s well-equipped apartments include air-conditioning and a kitchenette. They are designed in a typical Spanish style with white exteriors and private balconies.

Hice una reservacion por 5 dias, luego nos enteramos q el viaje era de tres dias, me comunique con HOTELS.COM para quitar dos dias y nos dijeron q era mejor cancelarla y hacer otra por tres dias, bueno alli empezo el problema, no nos querian devolver el monto anticipado por la primera reserva, y HOTELS.COM me dijeron que necesitaban “aprobacion” del hotel para devolverme el dinero, resulta q ellos al hotel solomle pagaron la segunda reserva de solo tres dias, en fin HOTELS.COM nos roba nuestro dinero, ya no usare mas esta aplicacion

Wonderful Sunset View

Have been coming to this resort for years. Couldn’t wish for a better place to stay. The resort is spotless and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and also a supermarket.

Nos encantó alojarnos en este apartahotel, fue bastante tranquilo, pudimos descansar y teníamos todo lo necesario a escasos metros de nosotros!

La atención siempre fue muy amable, incluso cuando el check in indicaba ser a las 16:00, ellos nos permitieron guardar nuestro equipaje y disfrutar del área de la piscina, lo cual fue bastante conveniente!

El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario para una estadía cómoda, y además teníamos acceso a agua potable y filtrada, por lo cual no tuvimos que comprarla.

El area es bastaste tranquila y linda, con muchas opciones de restaurantes a pocos minutos.

Love this place !

We have stayed at sunset view club numerous time. Apartments are cozy & staff are very helpful. Lovely ocean walks near by. Plenty of restaurants . It a quiet area. But hey guys please update your towel stock (room & pool). Also new clothes hangers badly needed ! Towels and hangers conditions do not reflect the otherwise high standards of the place.

Diamond resorts are instantly recognisable as having great self catering facilities, a home from home. Sunset View is no different and so the facilities are great and kept in great order. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The only issue we had, and had at a different former Diamond resort has to do with the “Club Members”. Club Members pay a fee for points to secure a certain number of weeks holidays and so feel “entitled” to certain/specific accommodation in the complex. Twice we were drawn into debate with the members because these apartments are available on Expedia, EasyJet packages and other booking sites. They are unhappy and making that known, so for an unsuspecting holiday maker this is not great.

This said, Sunset View is lovely, handy for some lovely walks, bars, restaurants and a Hipo Express supermarket which catered enough for essentials like bread, milk, eggs, and fresh fruits/vegetables etc.

We enjoyed walking to Los Abrigos along the coastline on the walkway built to assist. We couldn’t have if there was no walkway and resting points. Most folks could do it in 15, we took our time because we’re not so able bodied but enjoyed it all the same.

A visit to El Médano is a must. A visit to Los Cristianos, not so 😬….we took local buses 470,483 but be aware they don’t always run to schedule so you may have to wait a while for one to turn up.

Another great stay at sunset view .

Arrived to a very warm welcome from Hamid and Maria on reception. Both were very helpful with information about the apartment and how to get about on public transport. The snack bar on the complex is very nice . Serving lovely breakfast, lunches and teas . Kitchen closes at 4pm . Handy for drinks and ice cream too. Apartment was spotless had a dishwasher and washing machine too . All the staff are very pleasant from the maintenance person to house keeping and reception. Quite a quiet resort but lovely. Handy for the supermarket and plenty other shops across at the square .

The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. It had a very large patio. South facing and the ocean just a few minutes walk. The on site restaurant was closed but there are bars and restaurants and a supermarket across the road.

Lovely place, fantastic staff

We were originally put in an apartment next to one that was being renovated. The noise was terrible. After speaking to reception they moved us. They reception staff are fantastic incidently, they couldnt be more pleasant. My only issue with our rooms were the floors hadnt been cleaned. The aoartments are lovely and is a great location.

Poor compared to many previous stays.

Stayed here for the last 10 years same time of year.
Atmosphere and friendliness has now disappeared, staff don’t seem to be happy or friendly as they were before and it reflects on holidaymakers as well. Love the area but apartments are now old fashioned and tired. They still seem to think they can charge top prices though.

Marred By Builders

Our stay was seriously marred by being placed in apartment immediately above one where builders were working replacing a tiled patio. We asked to be moved the day after we arrived on the Tuesday and was told there was nowhere we could be moved to and the works would be completed by the Friday of that week.
The works were not complete on the day we left yesterday!!
We completed again last week and was offered a move but my wife was not prepared to accept the downgrade to an inferior apartment or the disruption of moving.
We have not been offered any compensation by Sunset View Club.

Fabulous and well appointed stay!

Fabulous stay!! I stayed here for my first and last night in Tenerife, and didn’t have a chance to enjoy the great pool area (though I did see enough loungers available near the pool!). Easy parking and hotel check-in, and was also able to leave my luggage in the reception while waiting for my room to be ready. Everything is wildly clean here, not a leaf out of place! Room was well stocked with coffee needs, a bottle opener, and everything else you would need to make some easy meals on the stovetop. Once I checked into the room, the front desk called to confirm that everything was too my liking. Gorgeous views of the ocean, and conveniently located across from a shopping consoled with easily a dozen restaurants and bars, small corner stores, and a pharmacy. Will certainly return!!

The entire property was clean, freshly painted, and nicely manicured. The apartment was lovely with everything needed from vegetable peeler to cooking utensils. The only thing we needed to provide was food basics (oil, etc). There is a nice express grocery store across from the hotel with great options as well as a load of Indian restaurants and other restaurant options, pharmacy, and shopping right across the street as well. There was only street parking available, which there is plenty, however the spaces are a bit tight and can be challenging with a larger vehicle. There is a lot of walking between rooms, pool, parking and reception areas. The hotel has ramps and is definitely accommodated for wheelchairs, but is a lot of walking and steps.

To note, there was no restaurant opened on site and the hours of the pool were too short-- only 10am to 6pm. There is a lifeguard on duty so that is probably why the short hours. I wish there were extended hours for \"swim at your own risk\" for example from 8am-10pm.

The apartment was well kept and clean, cleaning was offered twice during my 9 night stay and towel replacement were done at this time. The apartment was missing the ipod and it was a little disappointing that nothing was done to replace this. The cafe was closed during my visit and this was a shame as it offered both food, drink and some music around the pool area. The pool area was kept well. They is the offer to pay to use the pool towels but was confusing as to price and message via hotel.com was different to that of the hotels policy. The early check out time is a little inconvenient unless you have early to midday flight return booked as they are not keen to allow pool access and only limited luggage storage.

A wonderful stay

We had a wonderful trip. The area where the property is located is very quiet but has a number of local amenities, all within walking distance and was exactly what we were looking for.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a relaxing holiday with great facilities. The place was extremely clean with regular cleaning being undertaken.

What a beautiful resort, so very comfortable. We had 137 a ground floor 1 bed apartment with a lovely garden with table, chairs and sunbeds and sun from 10.00 to 5 pm. The bed, pillows and bedding were extremely comfortable and the shower was brilliant. English TV was good and the apartment was spotless.

What made it for us was the lovely staff Hamid and David who were so kind and helpful. We had great communication from the start and they were just so friendly, especially Hamid as we saw him more.

The pool area is lovely and the location just a few minutes walk from San Blas.

Sadly the restaurant was closed during our week.

All in all a wonderful stay and if ever we go back to the Golf we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This is a small resort with one pool. Quiet and relaxed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Apartment was comfortable and spotless.
Close to supermarket and a good range of restaurants.
A few minutes walk to the sea.
Walk to Los Abrigos is about 30 minutes along the coastal path.

Superb apartments

A return visit to the Sunset View and the team here have been very busy during lockdown!
The apartments are now without doubt the best we have experienced in Tenerife. All new kitchen and appliances, washing machine, dishwasher, aircon etc and a lovely private patio. The staff are friendly and so helpful, we wish we’d stayed longer!

Beautiful Stay!

Staff were helpful and friendly, we arrived early but the staff made arrangements so that we could check in early. On the day we left we checked out at 10:00am, they allowed us to use the pool and also gave us a courtesy room to shower and change in before we left for the airport in the afternoon!
The apartment was clean and well equipped. The pool was beautiful and never a worry about if you’d have a sun lounger.
Would highly recommend! This was our first visit but it won’t be our last!

I wish I would of stayed here for 4 more nights! The room was huge and very clean. Long story but I only booked this place for one night. I got 5 free beers across the street because I am American! American's never go there so they were really happy to have me...

2nd stay here . As before , everything perfect . We had the larger option of property which had an oven and washing machine in this time - perfect ! Not sure all gave this level of homeliness ... Pool area always had a spare lounger - pool was cool . Staff are very friendly.

Just a short stay

We were only booked in for 2 night's-(much cheaper to fly on a tuesday!!)after spending 12 day's elsewhere.The resort has not long been completely renovated the room's are well designed and well furnished.my wife has difficulty walking too far and prefer's a shower to trying to climb into a bath so as the appartment was close to the pool clubhouse and resteraunt and the bathroom just had a walk-in shower it was ideal! We were very impressed with the whole complex and will probobly go back in the future for a much longer stay.

Lovely Setting

Lovely setting for a quiet break in the sun. Golf del Sur is much much quieter than other resorts but good if that's what you're looking for. Staff were friendly & apartments were spacious. Restaurants are directly across the road from the Sunset View club and a supermarket.

Great value for money Apartment. Third time to stay here. Quiet area , population mostly middle aged/older but a large supermarket and plenty of restaurants across the road. A lovely coastal walk just down the road from the apartment. The Apartment itself has everything you need and a comfortable bed. Not super plush but very homely.
