The apartment is large and clean, though it is not serviced every day. The view is nice, and check-in was easy. If you need to rent a car, the staff take excellent care of the process, which was a big help. The lady who assisted us at check-in was very kind and accommodating—I wish I knew her name, as she was incredibly helpful.

The pool is large, but after trying it once, we didn’t want to swim again as it seemed dirty. The apartment has an on-site restaurant, and there are plenty of stores nearby. The kitchenette is great for cooking inside, and the bathroom is spacious.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

I came for four nights in January with a couple of friends and we loved it here. The staff are all lovely, the apartments are spacious and very clean. We only paid for the breakfast so cant comment on the rest of the food but I was inpressed by the breakfast, there was absolutely loads of choice. It was handy to then be able to prepare our lunch in the apartment and eat out in the evenings.

The pool is a good size and i love that theres a little private beach too.

5 Star Stay for Me at Ona Alborada in Las Galletas

I truly loved my entire stay at Ona Alborada in Las Galletas and for me it was a full five star experience. One important thing to mention right away is to not judge this place by its cover. From the street the outside of the resort honestly looks rough and uninviting and could easily be mistaken for an old gulag style prison or some kind of underground secret bunker. However the moment you step inside the lobby everything changes and the atmosphere immediately feels welcoming relaxed and well cared for.

I stayed in a recently renovated room on the third floor that overlooked the water and everything about it was perfect. The room felt fresh modern and comfortable and the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up every day and looking out over the ocean felt like a million dollar experience and never got old.

The pool area was one of my favorite parts of the property. The loungers were comfortable and it was the perfect place to relax all day while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. It was peaceful and ideal for unwinding whether you wanted to read swim or simply sit back and enjoy the scenery. The view from the pool area is truly gorgeous and makes it easy to lose track of time.

Breakfast at the hotel was very good with a nice variety of fresh options available each morning. There was a little bit of everything and it was more than enough to start the day off right. In the afternoons the bar restaurant was also excellent.

This hotel was amazing! So friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast there daily and it was brilliant. In the evenings we went out for dinner, so many options available. The rooms are simply fantastic!
Our view - wow! The pool was cold but it’s a sea wafer pool, so what else would you expect. They clean the pool weekly and that was great to watch.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel, and I feel compelled to share my concerns.

First and foremost, the pool was absolutely filthy. It was clear that it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The water was murky, and the surrounding pool area was equally disgusting. This was a major letdown as I was looking forward to relaxing by the pool, but instead, it felt like a health hazard.

To make matters worse, the so-called “relaxation area” was in the middle of a building site. The constant noise of drilling all day made it impossible to unwind. I spoke with the hotel manager about this, but his response was dismissive, saying it didn’t matter because the construction was on the other side of the fence. As if noise can’t travel through a fence! It was beyond frustrating.

On the other side of the pool, there was more construction, and to top it off, portable toilets were right next to the fence. The smell was unbearable, and it was extremely off-putting to try and relax next to these facilities.

Additionally, I chose this hotel because they advertised themselves as “dog-free” due to my allergies. However, there were dogs everywhere—some even in the lobby. When I complained to the reception manager, he rudely explained that some guests live there permanently and are allowed to bring their dogs. That’s fine, but you can’t advertise yourself as a dog-free hotel and then disregard that policy!

Overall, the customer service was horrendous, and my stay was far from relaxing.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The photos are lies. This place is awful. The fountains are empty. There is construction everywhere, not just at the restaurant that burned down, but all through the halls and rooms. There is no view of the ocean because construction fencing surrounds the pool area. There is exposed wiring in the hallways, splattered paint on the walls and floors, painters tape left all over the place, broken floor tiles, cracked concrete, the list doesn't end.
The pools are disgusting, they're never cleaned. We woke up covered in dozens of bug bites.
There's a reason they don't offer refunds. They know they can use their photos to get you to book the place and that once you arrive you will want to leave. But they have your money and that's all they care about. We couldn't stay and left for another hotel and just ended up eating the cost of 2 hotels. It was probably cheaper than the medical bills we would have had if we had stayed at the Ona Alborada Apartments. WORST PLACE EVER.

Constant construction works ruined the holiday

On arrival on a Sunday the apartment was comfortable, clean and newly decorated. I was a little disappointed that I had to pay an additional daily fee for use of the safe but it was not an excessive cost but considering the cost for 5 nights I felt it could have been included. Unfortunately after my comfortable first night, I was woken up to pneumatic drilling immediately outside my balcony at approximately 8:30am, this continued for the full 4 days between just after 8am most days until 5pm. For respite I tried to get some peace and quiet by the poolside only to find there was a digger and other construction equipment rebuilding the old restaurant and bar area. The noise certainly did not provide a relaxing holiday environment, whilst I understand that works have to be done, there had been no mention of this on booking, or when checking in and even though I raised my complaint with the front desk, they did not appear to take my concerns seriously and only offered a free towel exchange and a late check out, neither being of use to me. So disappointed as it could have been a lovely break.

I was very happy with the room and it's position and generous balcony. It was bright and fresh and clean. The pool and surrounding outdoor area also very good. The reception and cleaning staff were helpful. Also the location of the hotel was very good. On the downside, I was disappointed at the number of add-on charges for using room safe, beach towels hire, storing luggage. Also a bit disappointed that on arriving at 2:30pm the receptionist didn't check to see if my room was ready and I was just told to return at 4pm the official check in time. The only other issue was unreliable wifi but when reported it was sorted out very promptly.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again

from the outside, the buildings appear that they had their best timesnlong over; inside, the corridors and rooms are nicely refurbished, room was spacious with comfy beds and spacious terrace with nice views; towels are only changed once a week (unless paid for early exchange), same with housekeeping, so it's ok for a short stay but would not recommend staying loblnger than a few days; the area is very quiet so not ideal for families with kids that would like some more fun

The area around the pool is a bit dated and in some places a bit unsafe.

The only reason I'll take a star off is that cleaning should be done at least every other day, towels should be changed every other day, well, include that in the price! Overall, the location is great, shops and a bus stop are within walking distance, and there's a laundry room literally around the corner. Very nice staff, we had a late flight and we could leave our bags in a locker at the reception. 🌸

Just a Two Night Stay.

The Pool Bar is currently being renovated, but we didn’t really require that service on our two night stay.
The Pool Lifeguard however, was an absolute star. He came and assisted me with the sunshade, and was rushing to help people into and out of the pool, was cleaning with the scoop etc, I never saw him just sitting.
All Reception staff were polite, friendly and chatty!

The pool was amazing. Biggest pool I have had at a hotel. The room was very modern and nicely furnished and had everything we could need for our stay. The shower head was a little broken and wouldn't stay up unless you had the water at the perfect pressure but it was fine. The staff were all very friendly. There is no room cleaning/towel replacements unless you are there for a week which was fine for us but just to be aware of. And also no air con anywhere in the building. It is also among residential apartments.

What I arrived late at night at the hotel, I was waiting to be served as a customer in front was complaining that there was no water to thr property. Not what you want to hear on arrival..the Night Manager was friendly and professional despite the obvious pressure.
I paid extra for a sea facing room. I got a garden view with sea at rhr end of it. Not what I had in mind. There was no restaurant on site (being refurbished he said). I had not eaten since the cheese & biscuits at lunchtime.on.the plane at 2. And it was 8.30pm by the time I checked in.
I booked another place for the rest of my holiday and asked for a refund which I did not receive. I dont know why Expedia allowed the apartments to be advertised when there was no water supply to.the property. Also no restaurant. I had two biscuits and water for dinner. Awful experience not helped by the day time staff who refused to refund me or accept that I did not have a sea view room. Among other things. I've never been to Tenerife and a single woman travelling on her own and I did not feel safe enough to go out on my own in the area.
The room had a comfortable bed and pillow but was hot and airless. The rooms look like they've been decorated by IKEA. Plastic chairs on the balcony which is sizeable.
I got lost finding the room and noticed several rooms were being finished so works are still being carried out at the property and I would not have booked it if I had known.
I left thr next day, as I had booked somewhere else

Stayed here for a week 1st june 2024 - 8th june 2024 with my partner. Upon arriving we parked on the free carpark opposite the hotel roughly 15 seconds away. Greeted by a lovely gentleman on the front desk unsure of the name but he was great and talked us through everything we needed to know during our stay. We stayed in the newly furbished apartment which was lovely and accommodated all of our needs. The pool area was great and the sea salt pool was massive and beautiful to look at aswell as the sea. They had a pool bar which was open 10am to 6am which offered drinks and a selection of food. Overall the stay was brilliant. The only things i would suggest to the hotel to look into for the future would be a slightly later check out than 10am or have the option to keep the room on, the rooms cleaned more often as I found one time during our week stay wasn’t enough and air con fitted if possible as the fan in the bedroom just circulated hot air.
But overall lovely place.

Highly recommend giving this hotel a chance. Yes, it looks like a car park from the outside, but how long do you intend to spend looking at that view when you have a wonderful sea pool and and are positioned literally on the edge of the sea.
The highlights of this hotel are the views, it's cleanliness, comfortable firm beds, amazing water pressure in the shower, a huge sea water pool and the courteous, friendly, hard working, helpful staff.
I had an issue that needed attention. Reception listened and referred me to the manager. We had an amicable discussion and the situation was resolved. The manager clearly appreciates his staff and has realistic ambitions to improve the hotel.
The restaurant chef's catered to my garlic intolerance and cooked me meet or fish without garlic. This was well above and beyond what I would have expected in a 3* hotel. Huge thanks to them.
The not so good. The hotel is of concrete construction, typical of the period, tired and in need of a range of repairs. If you can see past this and remember that you have probably paid a relatively low price you should enjoy your holiday.
One thing we definitely found irritating was the number of smokers. It was possible to find sunbeds that were spaced out more and further from the bar so we managed to minimise the impact. The hotel should definitely consider allocating non smoking areas in the bar and in the pool patio areas.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Der direkte Meerblick war von Palmen und Pool ein bißchen eingeschränkt. Reinigung und Wäschwechsel erfolgte bei 10 Tagen nur einmal. Die Apartments sind alle neu saniert und modern eingerichtet. Das Gebäude von außen sieht schrecklich aus.
Der riesengroße MeerwasserSwimmingpool ist super.
Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen da ohne Verpflegung gebucht. Im Ort gibt es viele Restaurants und Supermärkte.

Het verblijft is niet erg na wens. Het geheel van de de gebouw maar vooral de kamer ruikt erg naar riool, vooral in het ochtend vroeg. De bedden worden niet nieuw gezet, de kamer worden pas per 7 dagen schoongemaakt waardoor je extra baddoek of wc rol moet kopen. Na het inchecken moesten we dat melden bij de receptioniste. Ontbijt en Diner was opzicht wel ok. Erg jammer dat er geen drinken inclusief zijn bij het diner. Dat moest je betalen en de prijs waren ook niet bepaald goedkoop of zo.

Maxi hotel 'bruttalista' che necessita un restauro, a parte la camera che era molto bella appena rifatta, in un posto inutile con un costante odore di fogna, che e' una prboematica frequente di Tenerife , ma qui lo senti anche in camera al quarto piano.
Assurdo poi il costo del posto... ti fanno pagare anche 1 euro per pesare il bagaglio o 2 per tenerli in un locker. Per compensare la trascuratezza e l'odore dovrebbero farti, invece di pagare, un regalo

Fin leilighet og bad. Veldig harde senger og beddsofaen var super dårlig. Inge mulighet for overmadrass eller lignende. Kun 2 dyner per rom,så en av oss var nøgd å bruke pledd. Kun vasket 1 gang/uke og håndklær blev ikke skiftet på 10 dager.

L'appartement était spacieux avec un équipement suffisant pour préparer les petits repas du soir. Lieu calme à cette période.
Personnel du buffet très accueillant et disponible.

La zona de la piscina es preciosa, muy tranquila.

Nuestro apartamento estaba renovado, muy práctico.
No hay aire acondicionado, a nosotros no nos molestó ( fuimos en noviembre) y no hay servicio de limpieza diario, pero nos informaron durante el check in.

Todo el personal fue muy amable.
El desayuno muy completo ( aunque falta jamón serrano). Hay zonas que aun le falta un poco de trabajo, sobre todo los caminos de cemento hacia la piscina. Entiendo que no es un arreglo prioritario, pero da mala imagen.

Calidad precio nos pareció un sitio muy bueno.

Jammer dat je maar 1x per 7 dagen schone handdoeken krijgt. Wij verbleven 9 nachten, en kregen halverwege schone handdoeken, dat is eigenlijk te weinig. Daarnaast werd het zeep en toiletpapier ook niet bijgevuld.
Verder zijn de appartementen netjes opgeknapt en is alles schoon. Helaas had ik wel 2x een kakkerlak in de schoen, na een nacht. Overal prima voor een week vakantie

Mooie ruime kamers met mooi balkon. Hotel heeft een leuke brute uitstraling aan de buitenkant. De kamers zijn zeer mooi en ruim. Ontbijt is geweldig!
