At first when we arrived we wasn’t even greeted they didn’t even take us to our hotel room with 4 suitcases two toddlers and a pushchair they still put us top floor there was rubish all round our hotel entrance which I was disgusted about

Nice apartments in a good spot in Los Cristianos. Nice and quiet at night too. Only downside is there's no air conditioning or fans and at the hottest time of the year its a bit uncomfortable. I would definitely stay again, maybe not in August.

Upon arrival we were checked in pretty swiftly however we were given an apartment right at the end of the complex and there was only one we were in and one way out which took around six minutes from entering the complex is proved to be an absolute nightmare. We were woken up every morning by the Cleaners dragging The laundry trolleys across the payment which sounded like a jet taking off. There was a lot of noise from the neighbours every night and morning I would stay here again only if it was the only option but maybe in a better part of the complex where there is less noise and you don’t have to hike to get there.

Convenient location for shops, bars, restaurants etc. The apartments are spread over a large area and if you are staying in one of the higher number apartments there is a long trek to the entrance/exit as this is the only way in or out of the complex, there is another gate at the far end near to the higher number apartments but this is always locked. If you have difficulty, definitely ask for a lower number apartment at the point of booking, we asked when checking in but was told they were fully booked. We stayed half board, the food was ok, evening meal was better than breakfast. If visiting again I would probably opt for room only as eating out in Los Critianos is very reasonably priced.

Great Stay

Really enjoyed staying here and would return again. On arrival, we upgraded to a room with air con which was great - room as very big, kitchen dated (but perfectly fine), rest was modern, big balcony. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel complex was very big - 3 pools to choose from, great location, 24hr mini market 2 min walk away, lots of ramps to get to rooms. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Checkin Bungalows. The Property was clean, it had 3 pools spread across the site and the entertainment was fun in the evening. I have seen some negative reviews, but our experience was great. I think if you have children it would be a good affordable option, as there is also a football pitch and basketball court. There are some paid pool and air hockey tables also. We went half board and the food was hot and fresh, it is three star so the food can be a bit basic such as chips, pizza, ice cream, but there is some alternative varied options as well. We did eat there every day, but you may want to mix it up and go out for dinner (they let you swap dinner for lunch, if you speak to them!) all the staff were really friendly, I found it to be a good location (some hotels are really far up a hill!). I would definitely come back. The only reason I didn’t give 5 star was because our room didn’t have air conditioning.

There was one receptionist who was not at all helpful and was in the wrong job. Whatever you asked she argued for something else. The rest of the staff were fine.
Depending where your accommodation is,there can be a lot of steep stairs that are not at all easy with a suitcase.
It was clean, comfortable and where we were quiet. Nearer to the bar was noisy. In a good location for the resort.

Property was really bad , on arrival staff were rude , room was not like advertised was old and dated loose tiles undermanaged simple , bathroom made room stink like a sewer . The smell was horrendous. Bathroom was very cramp and had like a tumble dryer in it as well no window no ventilation . Fist day at breakfast seemed ok and supper that day . We were half boarded . But then became very clear as days went on there was no choice and nothing for children at all so beware . Food was of bad standard cheap if the cheap bland and disgusting the only thing I can say was ok was the toast but they never made that . The swimming pools had missing tiles that they never even attempted to replace . If u want council then this is the place for you not fit for purpose . After reading this be very warned it’s no joke u will be very disappointed , better accommodation at same price . Shame on u check-in bungalows poor poor quality and can I just add not enough tables in restaurant but u can dine in the entertainment area which is bad bad not even grout between tiles and they give u plastic garden furniture to dine with stay clear

2nd visit in the last 3 months, this time brought family along. Improvements are being made to the resort where it is a bit dated. Safety for COVID is very high & staff very friendly/heloful. Location is great, close to beach, restaurants & bars. Will come back again as soon as I can.

The apartment was in need of a makeover. It was very tired and shabby. A positive was that it was clean. The complex advertised a gym but that was closed. We were self catering and just used the apartment as a base so it didn’t really affect our time there. The location is good. If you want to spend a lot of time at the complex it may not be the place for you. I did think it was strange that the apartment had a washing machine but not a hair dryer.

Trip was spoilt by the lock on the front door not working. Reported 5 times and 'fixed' 5 times. Not until the sixth occasion was it a permanent fix. I had to leave my front door unlocked when I went out during the day and on one occasion I had to put a table against the door when I went to sleep at night. Thankfully I paid to have a safe and had to lock all valuables away. I would expect some sort of refund for this service.

Good hotel. Good food, Lots to choose. WiFi quite slow. Bathroom clean less horrible. Walls tiles looks like not been clean for years the same bath and taps ( lots of lime scale on ), need to clean before we start using the bath. Washing mashine in the bath ( very handy) but not hair dryer. On the balcony we had table with 4 chairs and 2 sun lounge !!!

We found Checkin Bungalow’s to be good value, though the decor is slightly tired. The location is walking distance to the beach and shopping. The property had a good variety of amenities, such as tennis and basketball courts and 3 pools. We found the front desk staff unfailing helpful.
The property feels a little tired, however renovations are underway, which should help. One should note that the beds are a little on the firm side.

The hotel is undergoing some renovations so will hopefully improve the hard mattress I struggled to sleep on and the lack of air con in the apartment, otherwise a good place for a short break. Staff we very friendly and helpful and the food was average for a typical 3* as you'd expect. Overall a good mini break and wouldn't rulr out going back.

It could be much better.

The room wasn't that one we saw, payed and booked on internet. We had had beatles, old furnitures, no washing machine, no wireless (you can get it paying) There were 35 degrees every single day and night and no air condition inside the room. They cleaned every 2 days (that's fine) First night we had a waitress at the bar not really smiling and kind. But for the rest of the week all the staff was nice and available. Perhaps too fast to take back the plates during the dinner from the tables but apart that they were ok. Nice the people at the reception.

Two star and no air con!!

This is definitely a 2 star not a 3 star hotel. I fairness we only used it as a base to sleep which would have been fine if it was air conditioned. They only supply one fan which barely works and the nights were uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping on the sofa as that was the coolest room at night albeit not by much!!
The location however Is great, it's based in a more residential area and beer and food at restaurants are good value. You can get a large beer for 1 euro but if you go up the coast a little it will cost you 3! The beach is just down the road but forget about the pools, you couldn't swing a cat in or around them. We did have one persistent cockroach friend but we put plasters over the sink over spills and that was the last of him. For the money you get what you pay for!

My daughter and myself stayed in Checkin Bungalows recently. We were very happy with our apartment. Very clean and rooms were cleaned regularly, linen and towels changed every other day. Location was very good, near to restaurants, beach and shops. Very quiet at night and still very convenient to everything. Staff were very nice. Would recommend. Value for money.

Total dispoiment as we where waken up by builders doing repairing roof works above our bungalow at 08:20 in the morning . Went to reception to ask why they organized the works while the accommodation was occupied and I was told that it is for my own benefit in case will be raining . I asked for a complaining procedure or at least to speak with someone in charge as the attitude of gentlemen from reception, Mr Andres was totally unprofessional but I was just talking to a concrete wall. I was told that the works will be completed in that day but surprise next day , same hour builders where back on top of our roof.
I've contacted the hotel via email complaining about the issue and about the staff attitude but nobody bothered to respond to me.
At the end we was told that we can get a different accommodation if we want but at any point we did not received not even a sorry for our inconvenience .
It is a big shame as the complex is situated in a good location but rude attitude from Mr Andres ruined everything.
As a plus our fridge was changed in the first day because was not working.

The location of these apartments is great, near the beach and entertainment. The staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned every day, lovely swimming pool and great entertainment. We have been there before and would go back again.

Fabulous 3 star hotel

We went half board so we could enjoy the local cuisines and excursions on offer. The hotel staff were excellent and the hygiene was very high. Of course you will find some cockroach's but that will happen in a five star im sure. The rooms were cleaned everyday and towels renewed whenever the room was cleaned. We loved that the rooms were equipped with a washing machine.

Outside facilities very good nice sunbeds, umbrellas and pools. Didn't eat at hotel or use cooking facilities so can't comment. But NO AIRCONDITIONING so wouldn't want to stay there in the summer. Bungalows next to the road very noisy. Bungalow condition ok except bathroom which was dated and not that clean. Only there for a cheap get away so was ok.

The apartment was lacking appropriate kitchen utensils, which made it difficult to prepare food and even do the dishing (missing dishwasher liquid and sponge/brush).
Very nice bathroom with spacious shower.
Sloping terrace was a bit awkward for outdoor breakfast.
If you bring a dog you have to leave it in the room if you opt for the breakfast buffet (would have been nice with some outdoor seating area where dogs are allowed).
It's a large hotel area with only one entrance, so quite a walk if your room is at the far end.

Hotellet var gammelt og slitt. Leiligheten var dårlig utstyrt, kloakklukt på badet, internett virket ikke. Skifte av sengetøy og handklær var bra. Svømmebassengene på området var veldig små, men greie solsenger rundt bassenget. Underholdningen på dag og kveldstid var også bra. Det beste med hotellet var beliggenheten, kort vei til stranda og sentrum. Pris pr natt var alt for høy i forhold til comfort og servise

El complejo está muy descuidado, es muy amplio con muchos apartamentos y se nota que falta personal para mentenerlo en orden, pese a que indica que está reformado recientemente dicha reforma fué pintar y poco más, las instalaciones se ven antiguas y deterioradas (a excepción del buffet y el bar que se ven nuevos y limpios), los apartamentos están muy descuidados y la limpieza deja mucho que desear (había restos de confeti pegados a las telarañas de la pared detras de la puerta principal). En resumen, lo pasamos bien: \"sí\", repetiríamos: \"no\". Si no eres muy exigente y vas con la mentalidad abierta puedes pasar la estancia sin poblemas, pero si no es mejor opción buscar otra opción.

Las instalaciones y apartamentos, sin queja. El problema es la gestión. Por ejemplo:
1. Por sistema no entregan los apartamentos hasta las 2pm, politica de la empresa,aunque esten disponibles. Hacia años que no me encontraba con tal estupidez.
2. Los recepcionistas son poco empaticos
3. El guardaequipajes no tiene ningún sistema de seguridad. Qualquiera puede llevarse una maleta que no sea suya.
4. En una destinación de sol y playa, las piscinas no las abren hasta las 10:30. Incomprensible

Appartamento comodo e struttura ben organizzata.

Struttura a casette, con appartamenti ben equipaggiati (cucina piccola ma con bollitore, microonde, macchina del caffè e tostapane). Camera abbastanza ampia e comodo il letto. Molto bello il bagno, con la grade doccia, e il balconcino attrezzato con sedie e stendino.
Posizione abbastanza comoda, in una ventina di minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro.
Colazione e pranzo con ampia scelta ma qualità non eccezionale.
Lavorando durante il viaggio, abbiamo avuto occasione di provare le 3 piscine o il minigolf

Valitsimme remontoidun huoneiston mutta sieltä ei löytynyt nettisivujen mukaista keittiötä vaan keittiönurkkaus. Siellä oli ainoastaan kaksipaikkainen keittolevy sekä jääkaappipakastin. Uuni puuttui sekä keittiövälineiden määrä oli surkea. Kylpyhuone oli kaunis ja moderni mutta mustaa hometta oli monessa saumassa puutteellisen ilmanvaihdon seurauksena. Nukkumatyynyt olivat hajoamispisteessä. Pimennysverhot puuttuivat.

No tienen aire acondicionado, los apartamentos son muy antiguos , la limpieza pésima , no coge la wifi en la habitación , piscina sucias y la estancia no fue nada agradable , no lo recomiendo .

La ubicación es ideal, en tres minutos estás en la playa, tienes cerca supermercados y zonas para cenar y tomar algo.
El personal todos súper atentos y muy amables, un trato de 10.
Lo único que podría poner como mejorable es la comida.
Pero totalmente recomendable calidad/precio.

Sólo limpian cinco días a la semana, pero no lo advierten antes de hacer la reserva, tampoco avisan de que día no van a limpiar.
Encontramos una cucaracha en el baño, y una araña en la cama.
Viajábamos con bebés, por lo que de habernos informado al hacer la reserva no hubiésemos elegido ese establecimiento.

We had a good stay

Þetta frábæra hótel hjálpaði okkur þegar heimferðin okkar var aflýst við gjaldþrot wowair. Hótelið uppfærði meira að segja herbergið okkar þannig að allir fengu rúm enn ekki svefnsófa til að sofa á. Morgunmaturinn var frábær. Þjónustan mjög góð. Takk fyrir okkur - This hotel helped us. When our flights got canceld due to the collapse of wowair. They even upgrated our room so everybody could sleep in their own bed . The breakfast was really good. All in all service. 10/10. We will be back. Thank you

A week with my kids

An OK Hotel and the overall maintenace is OK, except for the reception. Quiet area and fresh spaces between the buildings.

The apartment is big enough for 3 pax. However the sleeping bed is not comfortable at all. The bathroom was recently re-furbished and looked modern.

In the kitchen you have to buy everything for dish-washing. This is not expensive to buy, but should be included.

Good house cleaning the two first days. After that, I think they forgot how to clean.

WiFi yes, but quite unstable and slow.

The breakfast (we only tried this one day) is not Worth the money. Dry bread, cocked bacon and scrambled eggs made of tasteless power. Thin coffe and different types of juice, tasting to much of something undescribable. Also the usual ham, cheese, marmelade etc.

Nära till buss.

Bra område för barnfamiljer. Många aktiviteter. Vi bodde i den delen som inte var nyrenoverad så vår lägenhet var inte så fin. Vi var dock inte mycket på hotellet. Nära till busstation som kunde ta oss till andra delar av Teneriffa.
