Clean room and environment with friendly staff, from the front desk to housekeeping.
The only thing keeping me from 5 stars was the breakfast service. Open for two hours, but clearly I felt rushed for final half hour, and the clanging of dishes being collected made it clear we were to move on.
I recommend this hotel as a great place to stay, close to everything and away from the din of city and tourists. Next time I would exclude breakfast and use our apartment kitchen.

Ideal situation, good amenities, friendly staff, free safe- just 40euro deposit which was fully refundable, free car parking, the only issue was my husband was very ill on our check out day and it was extremely difficult to organise a room for him. Eventually we got one for 50 euro

Enjoyable stay

The hotel is clean, comfortable and well located.
We were in a superior apartment on the 4th floor overlooking the pool (which we requested).
The room was a good size and comfortable, albeit “functional”.
Breakfast was ok.
We couldn’t understand why the pool area only opened between 10am and 6pm.
We would consider staying again.

Brillant location, pillows and bed extremely comfortable. Spotlessly clean, Good size appartment with Good facilities. Stayed for 4 nights. Had breakfast twice. Staff was run of their feet 1 girl in particular still managed to smile and be extremely friendly and nice dispite customers getting anoyed over waiting for tables.

Myself and partner booked a short trip to Tenerife and chose Andorra apartments for a number of reasons. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything we needed. The hotel itself always had free sunbeds, staff were pleasant and rooms/amenities were spotless. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we chose to go self catering, so cannot comment on the food. The snacks around the pool looked lovely though. It’s a quiet hotel, despite busy areas being a stones throw away. Had a peaceful sleep every night. Would definitely return and have recommended to friends and family already.

Overpriced but a nice hotel

Overpriced! This is a good hotel but we chose it over much cheaper ones because of its location, the air conditioning and heated swimming pool. The location was great, the air conditioning was a fan with a rattle and the pool was freezing. I asked about the pool and was told it was heated by the sun, so didn’t ask about the air conditioning. Technically they are correct a fan could be considered air conditioning and the pool is heated by the sun, but for that level of facilities we could have had a much cheaper hotel. The room could have done with a refurbish. but the maid service was excellent.

10 day couple stay

Enjoyable 10 day stay here. It is a very central location and within a short walk or taxi journey to almost all hotspots in the south of the Island. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk away from multiple strips with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is also only a short walk away.

The Superior Apartment is spacious and suited our needs well. The beds are comfortable, the storage is good and the balcony is quite large. The curtains in the room are great and black out the room. One additional touch would be to include dish soap and a scrubber for the dishes as there was none in the apartment.

The hotel is very quiet, and the bar/restaurant is quite basic so we headed elsewhere for our evening entertainment. However, the pool and pool bar are very nice and the staff are helpful and friendly. WiFi is free, although you do have to rent the clothing iron.

Overall, this was a great place to stay during our holiday and I would recommend it, particularly for its location.

Average in a disappointing room.

Not sure where all the positive reviews come from so I am assuming it must be our room which generates this quite negative review.

The positive reviews perhaps raised expectations which the reality failed to match.

We were in the annexe, room 025, which was like a scene from a 1970s TV show.

It was clean and functional, but that's about it.

The beds are very hard indeed, and the fridge sounds like an RB211 taking off most of the night.

There is no comfort cooling, and so it got very warm at night and just to add a touch of irony we couldn't have the patio doors open as the noisy units, for the cooling to the rest of the hotel, are situated just outside.

The room is also next to the service gate so we got the 3am bin/bottle collection, the 7.00am staff arrivals and the 7.30am group staff discussions just outside the room.

The pool is nice, NOT heated, and so unusable for most at this time of year.

Sunbeds are fine, and plentiful.

Breakfast was poor, very little choice, same every morning and if you get down past 9.00am there is generally nowhere to sit.

We went elsewhere for breakfast for the last few days.

So in all, very average and certainly not a place we would recommend or return to.

It may have been the price we paid, the younger age group we are or just bad luck, but if you are in the annexe try and get a move, especially if you are towards the road or service gate.

The location is ideal, close to the beach and 'strip' but not too close.

Refurbished 1 bedroom apartment it was very nice. Bed was comfy huge Balcony.plenty sun beds although in January 10.15 before first sun beds get sun however plenty of them.
Had breakfast included which was good. Although sausage and bacon was not to my liking. Great position under 5 mins from entertainment and restaurants
Only 2 things was when booked asked for pool room so would get sun on balcony and late check out. When arrived advised couldn’t get pool room but late checkout should be ok to check 2 days before. Went to reception as advised but said couldn’t get late check out as hotel now full. No curtesy room or showers so had to change in disabled toilet. Would book this hotel again but not if I had a late flight

The location was great , lovely clean accommodation ,staff very pleasant and accommodating .
The negative points were, no sun on our balcony At anytime of the day.
We booked And paid for our accommodation almost a year in advance after being shown a very sunny apartment , but unfortunately we didn’t stay on that side of the hotel .
I wouldn’t recommend staying half board , the food is poor, very meal is cold and bland. The variety is very basic .
Breakfasts are ok and passable but the evening meal should be avoided .
I would be happy to stay in the Andorra in the future, but only in Apartment (Room only ) on the sunny side Of the hotel .

The one bed apartment was spacious and clean. Housekeeping came in every day to make beds, empty bins and clean. There was a range of English tv channels and the Wi-fi was excellent.
The staff were very pleasant and efficient.
The property is only a few minutes walk to the main shops and the beaches just beyond that. There is a good supermarket a few minutes away. Also the number 40 airport bus stop at Zentral Centre is very close.
We were self catering and appreciated that there was an oven. Most implements were provided, but scissors, a sharp knife and oven gloves would have been useful.
The sofa in the lounge was not the most comfortable.
Our balcony overlooked a pedestrian way with cafes and one drawback that some people may not like is the quite loud music played in the evenings, but it did finish about 11. Being on a high floor was an advantage, especially as there was a good lift. Apartments nearer the pool would suffer less noise.
Overall, we had a very good stay and are thinking of booking for next year.

We have stayed at the Andorra a number of times. We always receive a warm welcome and being smaller than some of the hotels complexes the service and communication is more personal and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and all the staff are very accommodating. The location is very good for a wide range of restaurants and access to the beach. The only comment we can make about \"what we do not not like\" is when we have to leave and head home.

Lovely room. Modern design, super comfy bed. Safe inside room. Bathroom a bit dated but had a full size bath and plenty of hot water for a nice shower.
Cleaners did a great job. Staff all very pleasant.
Pool a bit small but heated in November it was a plus.
Usually stay at Parque Santiage3. Think will use this place from now on. Rooms a lot nicer and better value for money.

The appartment was great, good size with good kitchen equipment. Great bathroom with hairdryer, only gripe No window or fan so was a slight smell of damp. No air con so quite hot in October was given a fan but not very effective. Male receptionist said we could have 2 fans but female adamant we could only have one. Definitely could not stay here in the summer with no air con or decent fan. We stayed half board breakfast was fine. The usual continental and cooked. Evening meal was poor tasteless and lukewarm but the waitresses were lovely. I would stay here again if I wanted some winter sunshine but would do just B&B.

Arrived at 01:00 very pleased with check in and initial appearance of hotel. We were taken to our room and were pleasantly surprised at the size of the studio apartment. Housekeeping attended every day of our stay and we were happy with them. We had b&b and breakfast was good and fresh, with a fair choice. Pool area cleaned every day and always spotless. We are extremely pleased with our holiday as this hotel was well situated in las americas. I am sure we will return. Thank you.

Staff were great and happy to help - really friendly too. Apartments are huge so there's loads of room for everything you need including a big balcony! Shower is also massive and really nice.

Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to be self catering so if you're on a budget this is ideal, but you're also in one of the best areas 5 mins walk from the beach and even less to cafes, shops and restaurants.

Only downside is no air con, but there's a huge fan provided with the room. Bedroom windows in the ground floor also have barriers on the outside so you can open them for a draught at night.

Excellent location, small and friendly hotel. Had superior room which was nice sized one bedroom apartment with all amenities, modern and clean.
Road outside was quite noisy from balcony but didn’t affect us at nights.
Hotel mainly aimed at couples with no entertainment and only downfall was the air con didn’t work for the fortnight we were there and although reception gave us a fan it didn’t help cool the room.

Went as a group of couples for 6 nights. Everything great, service in hotel was excellent, especially Carlos , the waiter! Only downfall was air conditioning had broke so was given fans which was fine. Also didn't find the pillows or sunbeds very comfortable . Apart from that , would go again .

We had as always and excellent trip to the Andorra but there was a lot of work being done there and there was no air conditioning in all of the hotel part which did include our Superior apartment booked.
We were not told this when we arrived there and we told them after we found out a few days later that we should have been informed/
There a lot of work going on the 2nd floor to install new air conditioning there (we were on third floor)and there was some noise from there.
The work will take time and it appears that NO air conditioning will be available until the whole hotel is completed and they are trying to get this done by 30 June 2019 but they said no guarantees
In addition the annexe building is having new stairs put in and there will also be work going on there for a couple of months.
When we left we said to reception about lack of Air Conditioning and temperature at that time of your is such that it was not essential but over the next few weeks and months this will become a major problem.
We booked Superior Apartment which includes Air Conditioning and expressed our disappointment to Hotel reception

Little gem of a hotel

Stayed for 4 nights HB in April in one of the superior room sizes. Lovely small hotel well positioned for the strip and beaches. Rooms was big and spaciousness and fully equipped with everything if you wanted SC. All staff are extremely friendly.

We liked that it was away from the main hotel. It felt that we had more space. What we didn’t like was the amount of keys that we had to carry around with us. A key for the gate, the security door and then the main door to the room. Not to mention the safe key! That does not detract from the great location of the poolside view from the big balcony though.

Decent hotel let down by inconsistent showers

Hotel Andorra is a decent hotel located 10 minutes walk from beaches, shops and an array of restaurants. It also boasts free car parking (limited space), and in Playa de Las Americas these days, this is a very good thing. My only real complaint is being scolded on a daily basis by the shower and it's bursts of ridiculously hot water. Hotel Andorra could really do with investing in some more adequate boilers.

Great Hotel

Fantastic hotel in a great area. Minutes from the Hard Rock Cafe and the sea front so ideal for a stroll during the day and meals out a night.

Having your own kitchen in a hotel room is different but its great allows you a degree more independence.

Rooms had everything I needed and a large bacony and roof terrace.

I will be back.

First time treat.

First time in the Andorra. Was allocated a ground floor apartment with a view onto the pool area. The room was clean, roomy and quiet, just ideal for our short break. Beautiful pool area, breakfast was fine with all the usual choices, have already booked again.

Very pleasant hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms were very clean and had everything needed. Excellent location close to the restaurants, shops and bars. Will be happy to stay here again and will be booking for my next trip to Tenerife.

Property is central to everything in a great location. They have included a kettle and toaster in their superior rooms now - you basically have your own apartment in a hotel room. TV and Internet also excellent.

Understatedly great place

I love it here, it's understated and I like that. The rooms are everything you need for a trip to Tenerife - modern, clean and very well equipped. Location is great - close enough to the beach to enjoy it, but just far enough away to avoid the noisy bars.
Service - this is my favourite bit. It's excellent, but you don't notice it - the staff always meet your expectation but without being over the top with it - get what I mean?
Pool bar is very reasonable, some hotels take the micky with prices - but I think Andorra have it spot on.
