The hotel is very well located, right on the promenade, but also in a noisy area. There's a pub right next door with live music until late. There are plenty of sunbeds, nicely placed, not only by the pools but also in the cascading areas. The room is pleasant, but the bathrooms could use some updating, especially the shower cabins, as they leak. Breakfast and dinner are varied, with something for everyone.

Be very selective when picking the room. We picked the lowest cost and those are NOT good rooms. We were at first floor and a ventilation vent was blowing perpendicular to the terrace. Basically if you’re not getting “ocean side” or very high floor mountain side then don’t book here. Toilet had urine smell as vent is not wolfing vertical. I had doubts about main AC working property as well. That said…. Half Board Food was AMAZING! Very crowdy and not overly pretty but fantastic quality and versatility for food. Basically food is why we didn’t complain about room. That good!

Acceptable for two night stay with minimum need for hotel facilities . If I were staying any longer I would have been far unhappier . Room was in need of makeover . Broken tiles in shower , mould everywhere . No iron facility and when I enquired with reception I was told it would need to be hired in externally. Breakfast both mornings and as poor with cold food ( even when arriving at opening hours 7.30) pools are much smaller than they appear on official photos . It’s a bit ‘ no frills’ however we only required the room for two nights so made the most of it . Staff were friendly and definitely the highlight of the hotel .

Thos is advertised as a 4 star hotel this it is not !
We stayed in room 164 with a side facing aspect with a terible view poky balcony tgst we coukd mit sit on ad it was too noisy from the array of bars situated around the left side of the hotel
Sleeping was very difficult due to the noise
I did email reception requesting a room change yet to get a reply
The heavy smell of cannabis on the corridor leading up to our room!
Pool area was lovely plenty of beds and umbrellas every day
Food was good with plenty of chooce

First of all, I’m really not the type of person to ever leave a negative review, and it takes a lot for me to complain about anything.

I should also say that the staff were excellent; super helpful and friendly. The communal areas were lovely and clean and the pool area was a lovely place to relax.

The hotel is also in a great location, close to the beach, and also a bus stop that goes to the airport and north to Adeje, La Caleta etc

Unfortunately, due to food poisoning from the hotel food, I spent very little time whilst at the hotel anywhere other than my bed or in the toilet. The breakfast was okay, but the food at dinner (for the very few days when I was well enough to eat it) was generally unappetising.

I was also given a room directly above the Irish bar next to the hotel. It was so loud from 7pm-1am that my bed would literally vibrate. Perhaps the stay would have been more pleasant if I was anywhere else in the hotel, but if you’re anywhere near the Irish bar and you’re in your room before 1am, you might as well give up on having a decent night’s sleep. It was miserable.

I had come to H10 Las Palmeras for a relaxing few days after a couple of incredibly busy weeks at works. I ended up having the worst holiday of my life. I was almost in tears at the airport because I was so happy to be leaving.

Very friendly and wonderful front desk staff. Great food and room cleaning all excellent. Two problems: 1) very heavy handed, ignorant, loud, accusatory security guard in front lobby. He shouted at me, accused me of not stopping when he shouted - no idea he was shouting at me; accused me falsely of not stopping; as crowd gathered he continued to falsely allege that I had no pass into hotel. When I showed him pass, he refused to apologise - he said: “we don't do apologies”. This was needlessly embarrassing and ignorant and presents a counter experience to that offered by front desk staff. It was awful.
2). At the Gaelic Bar end of hotel loud music and shouting prevents sleeping before 12 or so every night. One night it continued all night until 5 am.
For the price a “underground” room was not great.

First room given was above a loud bar, so I asked to be moved and they did move me to a quieter room.
Most of the food was good, although a smaller selection than other places I have stayed.

The property was in a great location. Endless amounts of restaurants and entertainment right outside the hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the buffet food, the quality just wasn't there. Everything else was great though. If I was to stay again, I wouldnt do all inclusive, I would just stay there and eat everywhere but there.

Very disappointed with the room and hotel food. Rooms are absolutely tiny, first room level 2 was far too noisy from bars outside so moved to level 5 which was much better. We had a broken shower door so the floor was soaked after every uses run the room smelt of urine from toilet. Asked to be moved 3 times and nothing got done. Didn’t change bed sheets when it was clear our baby had been sick on the bed but they still made up the bed. Reception was awful it took 45 minutes to check in, under staffed reception. Food was very disappointing, everything was over cooked by about 3 hours. Gym was pathetic, 1 treadmill and zero weights. Pool area was nice. Overall it’s a 4 out of 10 from us,

The reception was clean and smelt fresh on entry. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed even when they were left on the rail. As I was a solo traveller, I chose this hotel for its central location and particularly liked that the entrance doors were locked at night with security only unlocking them to allow guests access.

A bit dated hotel but well located ….

Cons: almost no vegetarian options (other than salad)… even the soup is not vegetarian… when one goes all inclusive, it is a huge loss if you happen to be a vegetarian or a vegan
Cleaning the room is a hit or miss.. my room was at the far end of the corridor and the cleaning person showed up everyday at 3 pmish when one wanted spend some time in the room before venturing out
Check in: some of the staff are very friendly and give all details while checking in. Unfortunately the staff who checked me in, handed me the key band and some papers and said that is it. No explanation on what is where, on the all inclusive aspect etc… I could see other staff taking time to explain these aspects to the people checking in but my person was lazy and said all info are in the pamphlet and I shd read!!

Overall, great location, some excellent staff but I did not find the value for the all inclusive I paid

It is in desperate need of updating, the photos are misleading. The food was ok but at least one utensil/napkin/plate was dirty at ever meal usually multiple. The room wasn’t cleaned properly there was hair on the walls and toliet paper. The Air conditioner did not work. The room was loud. The door had light streaming in from the hallway.

Our room wasn’t like the pictures, perhaps they are the luxury rooms.! However our room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and, charged for, safe. There were lots of extras,shampoo conditioner etc. Comfortable beds.
The restaurant was good, plenty of choices, not always hot though, but plates cleared quickly. No problems with sun beds and pool towels available. Book a sea view room, it’s too noisy late at night otherwise.
Excellent staff always helpful. A mention for Xavier on reception we were early and he found our room quickly.
I would go again, a fabulous week.

Have to get a sea view or your balcony overlooks the Las Americas strip. We paid for a double room but got a twin and took a lot of complaining for them to agree to make the bed a double. Food was ok but I would have expected better from a four star resort. Everything else was good

Unfortunately this hotel is definitely not a 4 star property. Filthy carpets and stains along corridors was just the start. Upon checkin the hotel has been well refurbished at the bottom but the rooms need a big revamp. Rooms were tired looking and the first one we were put in had a awful sewage smell. To top things off the main pool was under reconstruction so more like a noisy building site outside and not a relaxing place to soak up the sun (this was not stated when booking through ebookers so be careful) . At the best this is a 3 star property which needs to be thoroughly cleaned and redecorated to match the bottom half. The food was poor and quality just lacked leaving us disappointed after the first night. Things were that bad that we decided to check out after the first night and move to a much better hotel 8 minute walk away (Sping Vulcano was amazing) . Please don’t be fooled by the misleading pictures as you will be disappointed.

The staff are terrific, especial Nicole on the front desk and Marcus in the luggage room. The restaurant staff are very good. Physically, the property could really do with renovation. Wood surfaces such as doors have been painted too many times. The balcony door is very hard to lock and the corridors are little with unbecoming fluorescent lights. The bathrooms are efficient and the soaps are good. A spiffing up is in order.

A throwback in almost every way

A typical Spanish 4 star with grumpy over worked reception staff, all the \"normal\" apply here, rooms are small but comfortable, there is A/C which is a bonus but it isn't that effective in Feb, cant imagine it will be fun in the hotter months. The food comes straight out of the 70's eggs are only cooked one way....badly, the \"bacon\" is awful, sausages are tasteless, but the other breakfast bits are fine, didn't have lunch or dinner as there are much better options nearby, It really is a throwback to the costa holidays of the end of the last century

Disappointed in Dining Room. Three times in 12 days waiters cleared my table including a full glass of wine and other personal paper when I was going to buffet for food. Queuing system to have paper filled in then signed before entering in evening very frustrating. Waiters rushed off their feet. Too many men in dark suites me thinks. Check in was slow . Food quality very variable from excellent to a roast beef joint that required a jack hammer to cut it

Nice new year event!!!

Very nice stay during year end and new year. There are slot of acvities and events. Furthernore staffs are very friendly so helpful for family. Buffet is good and every day change menu. Drink including bottle of wine is reasonable. Pool is cooler to swim in this season.

Having stayed at the gara suites previously for a few days we were ready to catch a flight home. However this hotel totally changed our opinion of tenerife. From the moment of arrival, where a glass of bubbly awaited whilst we checked in, the whole whole stay was made perfect by the excellent cuisine, pleasant staff and great facilities. New Years Eve was fantastic, the effort the hotel put in for the gala was second to none. We will be returning next year.

The food buffet was amazing and I never felt more value for the quality and quantity and creativity of the food. The staff in the restaurant could be slightly more friendlier for the floor staff because the chefs were amazing. Quite aggressive when they ask for drinks as you have to pay. Location is centrally located for all the major places to shop like a 15 mins walk to the main malls etc. The pool benches are too near to each other considering I went in Nov was super filled up so imagining summer time but overall: super highly recommended especially the food! I mean do not even need to go out to eat cause the breakfast and dinner spread was just phenomenal and there are many things to do and bars to visit outside and within the hotel . Will definitely visit again! Thank you once again muchas Gracias!

Beautiful hotel, everything you could want, the only negatives I would say we're meal times, queues to get in some nights then the tables are very close together , can't always get to see what dishes there are as very busy, think if they had different servings might help ease thevsituation, the pools were lovely, just sun beds were very close to each other and like most hotels beds were taken before 9 most days with towels on them and no people coming to sit on them until later in the day , very clean throughout the hotel and friendly helpful staff .

Had to wake up every morning at 8 just to be able to get a seat by the pool not enough sun bed space at all.
All members of staff were lovely and I cannot stress how friendly they was. However, it was VERY short staffed. There would be one member of staff taking all the orders! I waited 30 mins to be served before we got fed up an left!
As a fussy eater I did not enjoy the food however that’s not to say others would. Fresh cooked meats was always available. We ate our tea out every night and dinner but we enjoyed the breakfast.
The hotel was spotless it’s just a shame it’s let down by slow service and lack of pool space.
Milkies coffe shop in the hotel is AMAZING. Although they do need more staff working there as it’s very popular, fills up really quickly an sometimes there is only 1 member of staff taking and making the orders

The only complaint I would have which isn’t unique to this hotel is the sun beds at the pool. People queued from early hours to get these put towels on them and we noted on the days we were at pool in some cases didn’t come back to mid day. Hotel did put notes on beds but a better deterrent I feel would have been to remove towels after an hour if no one was on them. Only complaint though and as I say not unique to this hotel.

4th time in 4 years at this property which says a lot. Hotel location is perfect by the promenade which is great for walks towards Los Cristianos or Adeje. Rooms are nice, clean and have good views whichever direction your room faces. Pools x3 and areas around pools are brilliant- beautiful gardens and lots of sun terraces with plentiful sunbeds and brollies. Hotel lounge and bar areas are stunning. We go half board and sometimes go for lunch instead of evening meal as there are lots of lovely places to eat close by. You can have breakfast on the terrace which is lovely too. Food is good and always a good choice to suit all tastes.
Will definitely be back next year.

Few things to know. If you like going out, the location is fabulous because it’s within a 5 minute walk to clubs and bars. However, the beach in the photo is not the one behind it. That is a rock beach and is pretty unusable. The bed was the hardiest we have ever slept on and the linens were rough. And the floor was always dirty because it’s tile so everything sticks to you. The staff is very polite. However there is no disclosure anywhere or by anyone that if you purchase half board, that water isn’t even included in the meal and you will be billed at the end of your stay. I don’t like that this information is nowhere to be found or told to you when you check in. The saving grace was the fun you have while in Tenerife

Would have preferred better selection of fresh vegetables but assume these are hard to come by on the Island.

Our room was (351) over the Disco area which was very noisy at times

Going down hill fast

Having stayed at this hotel in several occasions we were again looking forwArd to it but sadly it seems to be going down hill. We were half board and what a waste of money that was as we ate out on 5 of the 7 night as the food was sadly shocking, a huge disappointment when food plays a large part of any holiday, room only if we go again, breakfast was even dreadful

Noisy room and rude staff

We booked to stay here for 6 nights for our babymoon hoping that 4 star and a bit of luxury would allow us to relax and unwind.
We arrived mid evening to a fairly straight forward check in process although we were immediately worried as there was hoards of people in the street outside the hotel at a st Patrick’s Day party happening in the Irish bar next door.
We were given our room number, (and very little instruction of how to find the room or how to find any restaurants in the hotel)
Immediately upon entering our room we realised it was in the basement with a small brick wall and a fence for a view, leading directly onto the street behind which was full of party goers. At 7.30pm the room was already very noisy from the party.
The room itself was dated and grubby but the beds seemed clean.
We immediately went back to reception and asked to move rooms - we were told the hotel was full, although rooms still appeared available to book on various sites online.
In short we went to reception 4 times to complain about the noise and each time we were treated like pests and fobbed off and told to go away.
The noise was so bad we could hear every word of every song playing next door which stopped at 5.30am. We then woke to hammers and drills at 8am!
The manager was friendly and helpful when we asked to leave but was beaten down by the unfriendly, rude Sandra in reservations who made us feel very unwelcome and upset.
I would not recommend this hotel! Avoid!!!

We were given a free room upgrade from a Seaview double to a private bungalow (although not strictly a bungalow as had two floors).
Went half board so got breakfast and evening meals included, was only an extra £80 from B&B and food was fantastic, better earlier in the service than later though.
We had a late return flight, hotel allowed us to stay and use facilities after checking out and even provided a FOC 30 minute courtesy room to allow us to freshen up before our flight home.

Staff superb all friendly, happy in their work and always willing to help. Hotel clean and first class, only 1 thing please please supply kettle and cups tea and coffee rooms, even smallest hotels do that these days. Food and choice was first class always hot, plenty available even if late down to dinner still full Choice. We arrived late due to flight delay and evening meal was due to finish as we went into reception, they did a basic book in to get us fed and stored suitcases so that we could eat in comfort and then sort out main booking once we were> Staff in restaurant were still attentive even though we only ones there. During week service at pool bar was exemplary., also same at Mikes Coffee bar. Price for drinks, snacks etc were not excessive. Hotel extremely well maintained with work constantly being kept on top of but with no disruption to guests. A first class hotel well worthy of 4 stars if not more

Great location, pool and grounds well kept, we had B&B the choice of food was good. Plenty of food choices near to hotel.

Only grumble was the initial room offered to us on arrival was dreadful, dark no sun at any time of the day and had builders banging above due to repairs, we complained immediatly to reception and was moved to a much better room same day without any fuss. Excellent Management.

This hotel is beautiful. Tiles in the lobby are gorgeous and the pools are beautiful with direct beach access. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide assortment. Great location within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and clubs. Would definitely recommend staying here. Only downside is the noise from the Garlic Corner Pub downstairs. My room was 458 and the walls were vibrating from the music downstairs. I still slept well because I was so exhausted from the many activities I did while I was in Tenerife, but if you are a light sleeper you should request a room not facing the street.

It was fine apart from the cleaners would open the door to the room without knocking and look in and when they saw we were there would walk out. This could happen from 8.30am at the earliest and could happen 2 or 3 times during the morning. They were always polite and friendly but it made you feel uneasy and always had to be dressed just in case.

This is a really nice hotel. I had booked a sea view and when I arrived I was given a room with a glimpse of the sea. I asked reception if i could be moved and the next day I was given a room on the 6th floor with a good sea view. unfortunately , the weather was really bad so didn't have much chance to use the pool . I was really pleased to find I could get so many english channels on the tv in my room , helped pass the time in the rain.

Good location. good facilities. Food good but lacking in fresh vegetables. Plumbing in bathroom needs attention. Shower tray overflows. Toilet cystern keeps trickling after flushing. Sink plug leaks.
