Staff at front desk can be rude. Daily cleaning of room was poor. 1st room assigned to us was facing the rubbish bin collection point so balcony was unusable as it stunk of rubbish and wehn asked for room change staff rolled their eyes. Food choices were poor if you dont like sea food.

Tired and needs a makeover in areas.

Hotel public areas are well appointed and cared for, foyer and dining area were fine. Our room had a huge patio and a nice big room. As you lived in the room during the week you noticed more and more. Mould in the shower never moved all week. The step out to the balcony was msg and had burst open as did the fridge cupboard. Carpets in the corridor well were worn. No mention when we booked that refurb work was going on in the hotel. Hopefully the start of a big freshen up.

Just returned from staying here fully exclusive. The hotel and staff were excellent, my hotel room had a lot of issues like broken mirror, wood coming cupboard and the patio window had blown so couldn’t really see outside. It was clean though. The food wasn’t great, had difficulty getting something I liked for dinner. Snacks outside my pool were same everyday, burgers, pizza, hot dogs and chips. All drinks were non branded unless you paid extra on top even if all inclusive. Excellent location

No air con during a heatwave

The bedroom in the hotel was excellent and all the staff were very polite and friendly.
All the communal areas including the Resturant, reception and piano bar had no air conditioning which during the heatwave was not good.
The food in the restaurant was very average for a 4 star hotel.

This hotel is in a great location & has really good staff. It’s tired but clean. Rooms really require an upgrade & in my option don’t rate 4*. The sealant round the bath was black, tiles broken & re fixed badly, mirror water damaged, furniture worn & damaged through time as they look like they’ve not attention for at least 15 years.
With this said we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. Bed had good mattress & shower was good which is most important to us.
Food: we were HB. There’s an AI option and because of this the food isn’t the best or worst we’ve had so we switched dinner for lunch and ate out most evenings as we don’t like busy AI restaurants where each of us take different time picking food & some have finished eating before one of us even sit down!
Pool: it’s fine but very cold! very strict about kids toys. There a waist deep pool which kids can use balls & sinkers but the deeper pool this isn’t allowed. No floats allowed in any of the pools. I wish they would remove towels left unattended before 10am. I hate having to follow suit with others & have towels down by 7.30am to guarantee a sun bed for the day. Many other Spanish hotels do this & it works well. Reception tell you when you check in so no issues & those who still reserve quickly realise their towels are gone!
Entertainment: pretty dire to be honest but typical of an AI hotel. A naff English woman singing, crap karaoke….we didn’t bother going any other nights 🙈🙉

Amazing hotel so glad we picked it!

We have just come back from our trip to tenerife and it was fantastic. We were looking at a few hotels and we are so glad we chose this one. The location is fantastic, a few minutes away from the beach, it has a supermarket next door and we did not need to use a taxi or car to go anywhere as all the main spots such as las americas, los cristianos, adeje were all in walking distance. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel itself has a large pool for adults and kids, a nice lounge for sitting, a kids area on the ground floor, a restaurant and a buffet. The only part I would criticise are the lifts, they take forever to come down and although there are 3 lifts they are quite small so if you are on the first or second floor its much faster to just take the stairs. Overall it was a great stay, the rooms were lovely and clean, very spacious with a lovely balcony, we were worried about noise levels but did not have an issue. Cant wait to come again and stay here! Fab!

Had a family break there for a week. The hotel is well situated, great rooms and a good pool. Top marks for the housekeeping team as the hotel runs a military cleaning operation of rooms and all communal areas. We were pleased that we didn’t book all inclusive mainly because of all the local restaurants to choose from each evening. We did however eat breakfast each day in the hotel which was good value once you got over the wastage that the poor hotel must incur due to the gluttony of people stockpiling plates of food!

The room was noisy and they forgot to do room service one day and after asking then several times, they only brought us towels without performing the room clean-up.
One night the fire alarm in the asile, false activated and made everyone woken up, after 5 min. they deactivated it.
The place was good enough, close to everywhere.
Stuff were friendly except the receptions!!!

Clean friendly family hotel

We enjoyed our time in hotel best. The clean and renovated rooms are large with 2 comfortable double beds,including extras eg safes and fridges. Travelling as a couple we didn’t use most of the facilities for families but everything is there. We got a bit fed up with the loud music round the pool some days but it’s a family hotel.
The food was very varied, different theme nights, so something for everyone but sometimes a bit cold.
Would we go again, probably.

Another great stay at this hotel and looking forward to staying there again in April. The new dinning room and buffet area are better than before and the hotel is really clean. Pillows very flat but didn’t ask at reception so I am sure this could’ve been resolved by me. They did not have an ironing board in the rooms or available at reception which would be a very, very small improvement.

I paid £800 for a 7 night stay, 3 tvs in the room and non worked asked receptionist about this on multiple occasions to be told an engineer would call and fix it not once did any one come, had to pay for kettle in room even though is states on website that this is avalible! Cleaners where so friendly as where snack bar workers but everyone else in hotel where rude and unhelpful! Worth telling people that you can only pay card in hotel to purchase anything! The roof top pool needs to be paid to access! Cockroaches in room and told reception about this issue and they couldn’t care less

Was a bit disapointed they said they had air conditioning but it didnt work it just made a noise and been on the sixth floor this was a problem the pool was ment to be heated but it was freezing we could not get in it and we where not allowed use the indoor pool so we are abit disapointed with it after paying 1000 euro for 10 nights

Great breakfast,

Clean and big hotel, breakfast is awesome we enjoyed it so much.
Every night the hotel held some event shows for children or so, it finished at 11pm and you can hear it clearly.
If you wanna stay in calm check it.

I love this hotel, especially the dining room staff who take great care and look after you. We’ve stayed here 4 times.

The only down side was the occasional smell of ‘Spanish drains’ in the bathroom first thing on a morning. They are doing building work there at the moment but didn’t spoil the holiday.

The entertainment was far too loud and some nights went on till near midnight even with our doors closed it was unbearable
There was no kettle in the room and you would have to hire one for 16 euros for a week
No matter what time of day you went for a shower you were either scalded or it went cold I am glad I had no young children with as they could easily have been burnt
The hotel was in a great location to explore the surrounding areas

We loved this hotel! Very central to the local shops/bars & beach!! The pools were huge, the drinks were self serve which is great. You could pay for cocktails at a very discounted price if you were all inclusive. The food was excellent!!! So much fresh fish, fruit & veg. We only stayed in one night for the entertainment but they had parrots from the local zoo, we had our photo taken with them great little touches like this. The first night we came too our room and we had a bottle of fizzy wine to welcome us. Lovely hotel will definitely recommend to anybody!

The air conditioning was not working properly. Changed rooms twice and all 3 rooms ac was not cold. Employees at the bar were making rude comments about Asked for a room for 3 people snd they put 2 beds together to one large bed and someone had to sleep in the crack of the 2 beds. We stayed in a Senator Room - twin queen beds with nice light decor. Bathroom were small with a bath/shower.Fresh towels daily. Free safe and daily bottled water(all inclusive). The buffet-wait at the door and you will be seated - breakfast had a lovely choice - fried breakfast, freshly cooked omelettes to order, pastries, fruit, yoghurts and cereals. Lunch was ok and tea was very similar - plenty of dishes just depends what you like!! We ate here the first day and then had our evening meals out!! Pool bar serves food practically all day - chips, pizza, toasted sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs. Drinks were self service - all local spirits, a lager pump, soft drinks, water, wine, limited on pump cocktails, cava and sangria & wine. Limited ice creams for all incl - you have to pay extra for all other ice creams and alcohol. The pools are fabulous. One pool is more for kids, it’s warmer, shallower, has a dividing wall to the deeper pools. This is also where the aqua aerobics takes place daily. The other pool is cooler and gets to about 120cm under the bridge & gets gradually deeper to about 140cm by the waterfalls. No inflatables are allowed. It also says no diving but my kids did and no one said anything!! Loungers- fill up fast!!! Ignore the chain and go put your towels out. We did this about 730am to get anything poolside . You can hire towels 10€ each - refunded when you hand them in. Once you have your towels on your lounger no one moves them. Enjoy!!

The best Tenerife Hotel is situated to all amenities,bars restaurants,buses,shops, and there is a free bus to the parks and shopping centers.The hotel itself has most amenities to avail of,two big pools,one heated and the other one is cool.The rooms are very clean and are cleaned every day with fresh towels.
There is entertainment during the day and evening,mainly for children,but good.
The downside to the hotel is,if you have a late flight and have to hang around all day,the shower rooms (2) could be better.
You have to go to the reception for a person to open the luggage room to get your clothes to change, and then you have to go and get a key to the shower room, and back again to get someone to open the luggage room.
There are plenty of towels.
Overall the hotel is good

Our Room163, really noisy loud music until midnight everyday.
No iron in the room or ability to rent / borrow one.
Timings of some facilities were rubbish ie the gym never opened until 9:30am and closed at 7pm ??

Plenty of spare sunbed around the pool and our room had a pool and see view. 1 block away from the main street where there are lots of restaurants and bars, I would go back again

Bathroom smelled of urine, even after asking for it to be mopped. Balcony not cleaned all week. Noisy, inconsiderate guests. Food bland and cold. Lifts break down continuously. Pool freezing cold despite saying it’s heated, pool grounds tired and scruffy.

typical 4 star \"spanish \" hotel but little things let it down. although the room was large, clean with comfy beds, with 3 tv's in the 2 bedrooms and lounge areas.there was no draw units to put clothes in. towels were past there user dates, no toilet brush. the restaurant was buffet style and as in all buffet restaurants they struggled to keep food warm and the choice didn't alter a lot over the week we stayed there,but you could always find something to eat. the pool area, if you didn't get out early and reserve your spot, you would find yourself moving your bed around trying to get out of the shadow of the trees. we were half board so had to pay for our drinks which were quite resonable in price ( 2,62 euros ) for a pint of beer. staff on the whole were very good. 10 mins. to the beach about 600 m.away which we found more to our personal liking

Hotel was great, just needed a bit of maintenance in various areas, especially the toilets by the pool that often weren’t working and the toilets in the foyer that wouldn’t lock etc. Food was good. Pools were lovely. Lots of sun beds. Entertainment wasnt very good. But we wondered to the bars in the evening as we were half board. I’m glad we didn’t do all inclusive.

We stayed for a Holiday in January 2018, first time at this hotel. We knew the area well and this us why we booked the hotel. Good rates - we stayed half board plenty of choice at meal times, however my only suggestion would be to upgrade the restaurant a little dated. Staff very efficient throughout, most people were all inclusive but behaved no drunken adults by the pool area. Loved two double beds as standard, bedrooms a decent size. We paid for pool view but not many rooms look directly onto pool. We have stayed in lots of different hotels in south Tenerife and will definitely return, well done to the manager and staff.

Uncomfortablely loud hotel rooms

Reception - Upon checking in we were not made to feel welcome at all, we were basically just giving our room key and told us to go. Check out was the same kind of atsmophere, handed over room key, try to make us sign an anti claim form and said ok you go.

Rooms - very dated with only a tv making it look slightly modern. Balcony had two horrible plastic chairs with a horrible plastic table, with a view straight into a tree (pool view lol). If you want a lie in at this hotel think again, very noisy rooms, you will be able to hear th next rooms tv and their every movement. We were next to room which had a young baby and we could hear thE baby crying every morning.

Pool - pool was freezing cold and that was the supposedly heated one, the colder pool was even worse. Could not enjoy them. Only upside was that you did not have to run for a sun bed as they had plenty. Ok our second last day the pool went a very green colour and had to be shut, very disappointing for family’s with kids.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and urge them to book elsewhere.

nightmare holiday,we were robbed on arrival at Rec

We were robbed on arrival at the Best Tenerife,by a known criminal gang from Columbia.It was caught on cctv Camera and even with this evidence neither the Hotel or Expedia would take responsibility.
We were treated very badly by the Hotel they didnt want to know us even though my husband did go to the Police Station and filled in a report and he also insisted that the Police would come and check the CCTV footage and they did.
They said the woman was part of a criminal gang that was known to them and they saw them rob us on the cctv.
The worst part was it was the very first day of our holiday and we had our Grandson who was 13 with us.
So it was heard to enjoy it after this horrible experience, which I wouldnt wish on anybody and I seriously hope you never have to go through it.
Another point to add was we couldn't meet any Managemt for 3 days as we were told there was none on duty all over the weekend.We know for a fact Managers were in the Office behind the Reception,they just didnt want to know us.
Expedia gave us nothing absolutely nothing after paying €893 for our stay.
I will never again book or recommend Best Tenerife or Expedia,for such big Companies what would it have cost them to reimburse us our loss.

Bra läge och trevlig personal, men hotellet i sig har sett sina bästa dagar. Frukosten är bra och fräsch, middagen lite ensidig och trist trots olika tema olika dagar av veckan. Skicket på hotellet är inte det bästa, även om det var rent och bra städat. Bra poolområde och plus för den uppvärmda poolen.

Jag kan skriva en novell om allt negativt jag upplevde på detta hotell.
Rummet var mörkt och saknade helkroppspegel, otroligt lyhört, hörde när grannarna gick på toaletten, sängarna var smutsiga och stenhårda, kallt på rummet, poolen var kanske 17-18 grader så gick inte att bada, maten var under all kritik- jag blev dessutom matförgiftad efter första lunchbuffén på hotellet.
Finns mycket att önska även servicemässigt, städas dåligt vid poolområdet så det ligger muggar, plastglas osv överallt, personalen kändes trött och inte serviceminded.
Nä jag önskar jag hade valt ett annat hotell!

Hôtel pas digne d’un 4 étoiles , clientèle bruyante qui ne respectent rien.
Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées.

Mooi hotel met een centrale ligging in het centrum

Mooi hotel met prima ligging midden in het centrum. Vriendelijk personeel. Gratis gebruik van kluisje op de kamer. Puntjes van kritiek en verbeteringen; geen toilet borstel, douchen in het bad, kledingvoorschriften werd niet op gelet tijdens het diner.Heel attent was de verassing op de kamer op de verjaardag van mijn vrouw.
