Check in was poor and the manager called me out to confirm it was from 2pm. Although stated at 1pm reception confirmed come back at 2pm. Credit of €45 euros for food and beverages didn’t exist as had final bill on check out. Hotel Amazing location and clean. Staff are friendly.

The good:
- Extremely friendly staff
- Very clean rooms
- Lots of sockets in the rooms
- Rooms large enough for 2 adults and 2 children (though tight with 4 people )
- Location was great, next to the taxi stand and the main road.

The Bad
- Lack of hygiene in the restaurant: I saw cockroaches on the floor, and they used the same tongs for raw meat and the cooked meat. Plates were not always clean.
- The breakfast was chaotic. It was extremely hard to get utensils, cups run out for coffee, glasses run out for water/juice
- The pool was overcrowded; it was impossible to get a lounger, since most were reserved and the lifeguards did nothing to empty them
- 60% of the machines in the gym were broken
- Pool tables were broken
- The restaurant food was repetitive ; mostly OK but you get what you pay for
- This was not a 4 star hotel; a reasonable 3 star certainly

Check-in was smooth , but rooms were very small.
We were given 2 joint single beds , and not a double bed - not ideal for couples .
Food choices were limited in the full board . Not good tasting food.
Food service was slow.
Have to wait long before you can find glasses for juice and coffee at breakfast.
No cutlery provided at dinner once , despite being asked for a few times .

The coffee machine ran out of milk and was never topped up during the breakfast session.

Over all , poor service .

The property was overall lovely, with all amenities as required for a short stay in a hotel. We struggled on many occasions to find a sunbed. Prices for food and drinks are not as cheap as we expected with many surrounding bars and food places serving the same drinks and food for cheaper. Definitely great to go out. Breakfast was appalling, coffee and juice was super though!

We have just returned home from a 2 week stay during school summer holidays. Lovely hotel with a few things they could focus on. We would say a great 3 star or a low 4 star.

Rooms
The rooms are great. We got an Alexandre club room but I’m not sure they change size so plenty big enough for a family of 4. The sofa beds are very generous. Cleaned daily to a great standard. 2 days we were only given 3 bath towels for 4 of us, but this may have just been an oversight.

Food
I read lots of negatives about the food, 4 adults, 2 children and we all feel the food was lovely, always so much variety of freshly cooked (in front of you) meat, always got the chips/pasta/pizza/salad/bread options too. They seem to have a different theme each night too. We often get to the restaurant at opening, we went once later and they did seem to be struggling to replenish the dishes as they were empty during both lunch and dinner. Some very large queues which I feel the hotel could rethink their layout to avoid - putting one dish behind another just slows it down!

Pools
The pools are great sizes, one is no balls which is nice, the other is more of a play pool. Plus the baby pool. The lifeguard even provides swim nappies should you need them (baby pool closed twice and big pool closed once since we’ve been here due to poo apparently) no inflatables allowed apart from rubber rings but this actually keeps the pool from being over crowded.

Fiesta Siesta ole!!

A very good clean hotel ,there was someone often cleaning and polishing,the reception area, corridors and outdoors around the pool. Daily room service was fine although some days the tea and coffee sachets weren't replenished.
The allocated room on 4th floor was compact, the bed very comfortable and it was in a quiet location. The bathroom was larger with a modern walk in shower and the outdoor patio was even bigger with a large sunbed for private use. Half board food was adequate, breakfast offerings a decent choice but a bit repetitive. Evening meals were better. I eat fish and seafood daily and there was a good varied choice of fish dishes throughout the week.
Location of hotel is very good just short walks to the beach, the shops and the bus stop to travel further afield from the locality and to and from the airport (bus route 40)
Enjoyed my stay that much i've booked up again for February 2026

The property was located in between where the nightlife is (Veronica’s strip) with a 5-10 min walk and in the other direction a much less quieter surroundings. Ample of bars and restaurants outside the hotel. Facilities of the hotel are ok, despite having to pay for using the safe in the room, replacing the tea, milk and coffee sachets in the room.

The club Alexandria room was perfect - so spacious with lovely large comfy beds and nicely presented. We had bathrobes and slippers too and a fantastic pool view room. Hotel in a super position, away from noisy areas but within easy walking distance of everything we wa ted. Absolutely loved it.

We stayed at La Siesta for two weeks. We thought the rooms were brilliant, very well appointed and lots of room for the three of us using it!
The food in the dining room was very good, lots of choices and generally very good quality. One morning they hd run out of pancakes (it was nearly ten o clock) so fair enough, but one of the lady chefs very kindly made a fresh batch of pancakes for my daughter which was so very kind!
The pool area was very good, we could always find a sunbed but it could have been kept a bit cleaner really, that was my only criticism. The toilets for the pool could also have been kept a bit cleaner.
The entertainment and children’s club was brilliant! My daughter loved both Camilla and Adde, who expertly ran the children’s activities.
She loves doing the arts and crafts every day, getting her face painted every day and going to the kids mini disco. The energy that Camilla and Adde must have used every day was impressive- massive high five to them both!! Their efforts are probably our favourite memories of this hotel now as they clearly worked hard and enjoy their jobs.
The bar was well equipped and the staff at the bar and the restaurant clearly worked incredibly hard - we always had the feeling that they were one or two staff members down, especially in the restaurant. Luis (or Antonio as he was sometimes known?!?) was one of our favourites, he always had a smile for Willow!
Overall lovely hotel and would recommend for families!

Hotel is in an ideal location, close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Siam Water Park is also fairly close. Two good size pools plus a baby splash area. Entertainment for kids every night early evening and for adults afterwards. Room was big, clean, with fridge, safe and patio doors to balcony. The food was plentiful but aimed at international customers. Dinner had little traditional British food but we always managed to find something. Did not like having to pay extra for the room safe.

First time staying at La Siesta and would definitely recommend it. The location is amazing excellent. Close to everything we needed and cabs all the time if you wanted to get out of the area. The pools were great. Food and drinks were available all day and was nice amount to chose from. The staff were all lovely, reception was helpful, the cleaners were so lovely and the bar and restaurant staff were great.

The only things (which are so tiny) that would have made it better was the music round the pool - the same music everyday. That could be changed up. Wifi wasn’t the best but I had data so all good.

Enjoyed our week here. Been in other hotels in the area and would definitely return.
Themed food was a bit hit and miss but always something to eat. One moan is that empty food trays were rarely filled or replaced. Loved the pool and roof area. Made good use of peaceful adults only roof but no shade or umbrellas there. Used spa pools several times, sauna and steam room. Fantastic!

I’ve just come home from a weeks stay at La Siesta, and I couldn’t be more happy with it. The location is fantastic, your a 5 min walk away from Veronica strip and 5 mins from the beach and all the good bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly, and extremely helpful. If I had to fault anything I’d say the breakfast could be better, however that doesn’t matter much to me as I always eat out everyday anyway. I’d definitely stay here again. I’m definitely coming back here next year.

We did a week-long \"half board\" stay at Hotel Siesta in March 2022. While our room was adequate it also looked very run down and not what I was expecting from a 4* property. The maids did a fabulous job every morning but this couldn't make up for old curtains and bedspreads, nasty small bath towels that wouldn't cover a toddler, let alone a grown adult, and a shower that unexpectedly would flow boiling water in the middle of a lukewarm shower.

We found it frustrating that everything was also charged as an \"extra\" at this hotel -- from pool towels, to simply using the safe in the room, to wanting a glass of water with lunch...it was always an extra to be added to the bill. Frustratingly, if I had paid marginally more for full board then I would have had drinks included at lunch times but this was never stated on anything during the booking process. The food, while plentify, was on the whole, painful to consume after about day 3 and we ended up skipping meals and eating out far more. Some of it clearly had been put out day after day and wasn't fit for consumption - while other items were extremely good - fresh fruit and juices and a nice selection of bread. The system to hire pool towels was never made clear to us and relied on you being able to catch the lifeguard at the right time. I was also disappointed that the hotel allowed people to reserve sun loungers while not using them all day. On the plus side, the location was perfect and we made the most of our stay.

The facilities themselves are of great standard. The rooms are spacious and well kept. As per the other reviews, an issue with this hotel is that all features usually cost extra. The safe costs extra, towels cost extra etc.

Our main issue was the lack of information. We weren't advised of our included access to the roof terrace or how to get there. No information was provided around available recreational activities or what could be purchased/hired from where.

We also booked a double room and a twin room. Upon arrival we realised we had two identical rooms with twin beds pushed together. No double bed was made available.

The reception staff here were horrible. So so so rude. Especially Samuel and Alicia. I was annoyed one day that I was told I had to pay €15 for pool towels per person and asked why I wasn’t told at check in. Alicia looked at me like I had 10 heads and didn’t answer and asked did I want them or what. Samuel kindly screamed at me to put on my
Mask after I dropped it just to ask a question even though he was standing more than 2m away from me and behind a screen. He then shouted at me again when I was going the wrong way to breakfast after him giving me directions. Upon check out the receptionist screamed after me for €2 which I didn’t know I owed for having a pool towel. The only nice receptionist I dealt with was Andy. He should train the other staff how to deal with guests. The photographer Simone was amazing! He had such good energy, always happy and smiling and was happy to deal with kids and adults alike. Such a lovely man! Also the lifeguard was so nice and helpful as was the bar and restaurant staff, Antonio and tino to name a few, but they seem to never go home! Cleaners also were brilliant and kept the rooms and hotel spotless. I requested a double bed in my room but didn’t get one on arrival even though it was available. I complained and was contacted half way through my stay about changing rooms but was too much hassle then. The location is brilliant, pool area and b/fast is nice. Has a small playground and indoor play for kids. Indoor pool is €15 per session.

Nice place and very good food option - recommed AllIncl option. Paid safe lock and fridge is something I wouldn’t expect from the 4 star hotel - that’s a tourist trap. We’ve asked for the room level up into the “club” option however the advantage of the wellnes option means only indoor pool as the saunas are closed now - so the advantage was pretty much only not to have a street view from the room. Overall ok with the outside pools and bars. Nearby streets are full of shops, restaurants and night life - very close to the sea and beaches.

The hotel was clean and had good systems in place for the guests. We only did breakfast which I thought was very impressive and well managed. The one thing I would like changed is not allowing guests to put towels on the sun loungers every morning so when I got out to the pool, there was no where to sit and some did not come out till much later. Apart from that, a good stay.

Pleasantly surprised, as website pics made hotel seem very dated. Central location, large rooms so plenty of space for sofa beds. 5 min walk to sea, 15 min to Veronica's strip. Lovely pool, plenty of sun beds. A mix of activities during the day. Good breakfast buffet. Hotel not too big - plenty of places to chill out and relax. Near to shops, restaurants, 24 hr mini market, taxis, buses. Went with my 17 and 19 year olds - would go again - plenty for everyone. Siam Water Park - best I've been to - wish we had gone all day - better than Disney. Lovely boat trip out to see dolphins and whales.

Good location with large bedrooms. Bit to large a hotel for me though. Battle in a morning for sun beds with people reserving them and disappearing for most of the day. Had to pay to use the fridge in the room. Breakfast was good but dinner tasted a little bit bland and similar each day.

La Siesta hotel is a great relaxing hotel that is spotless in every way. Beautiful pool and really nice lunches and BBQ themed night. Rooms and pool areas cleaned every day very thoroughly. Spa is very relaxing. Very close to both the Golden Mile on one side and the strips on the other. Would really recommend this hotel for all ages.

On arriving at La Siesta we were rather smugly told by the receptionist that the hotel was overbooked and we were being sent to another one.

When we raised objections to this, having paid upfront for the room and been travelling for seven hours, we were told that it wasn't the hotel's fault but that of the travel operator, Expedia, which continued to advertise the hotel long after all the rooms had been booked.

When we asked why we weren't notified about this BEFORE we left home rather than once we'd arrived we were told that, again, this was Expedia's fault and not the hotel's.

In fairness, the hotel we were sent to, the Noelia Sur, wasn't too bad and we were given free wine and water with our meals to compensate for the inconvenience, but the fact is that you should be able to stay at the hotel you originally chose and paid for six weeks in advance.

A central hotel within the resort providing good food and entertainment. A relaxing foyer with nice comfy chairs and sofas!!
Pool area nice and clean with plenty sun beds and a lifeguard on duty at all times.
All staff were very friendly and accommodating to any request.
The restaurant is self service with a large selection of hot and cold food, drinks and fruit.
There is a safe in the room which can be hired for a small daily fee.

Comfortable family hotel in central location

Stayed over New Year. Surprised that hotel did not feel crowded although it was apparently fully booked. Meals were adequate but nothing special. New Year's Gala Dinner served in 2 sittings. Complimentary wine and champagne included but there was no party atmosphere. No problem finding a table at breakfast or dinner and the service from the waiters was very good. Pool area was pleasant and we had no problem getting a sunbed even though many towels were out before 10 am. Pool towels were available for 50c per day. Didn't try the spa as the weather was too good but did look around any thought it would good on a cool day. A variety of entertainment was provided each night. Price of bar drinks seemed reasonable La Siesta seemed a very laid back place and we enjoyed a very relaxing and entertaining New Year's break.

Only negatives were lack of dishes in restaurant and not in an obvious place i.e. you had to search for them. Could have done with maybe one more on reception as most times there was a delay in being attended to. We would certainly stay at The Siesta again - bar prices good and I arranged 3 surprises for my wife's birthday through the hotel and every one went like clockwork.

Enjoyable stay

Just came back from La Siesta with 2 small children (age 2 and 8). The hotel is very conveniently situated, close to the shops, restaurants and the sea front is only 5 min away. It is clean and pleasant. Good things: the pool area is great for the kids, staff are very nice and helpful, mini disco every night, some good shows in the evening, activities are offered during the day. Bad things: food is very average, although there is a lot of choice and every drink you buy with your meal is expensive. 3.40 euros for a glass of coke is excessive.
But on the whole it was all good. Make sure you hire a car and take a trip to Loro Park as it is a great day out. Siam Park is 10 min away and you can take a free bus from nearby the hotel. Again, both places very expensive but well worth it!

Lovely hotel with large rooms for more space when travelling with kids. Pool great for all ages but not much for younger children for kids club although there is a soft play room.

Buffet fine for your breakfast and lunch but not impressed with evening meals. Wouldn't go half board again & you still have 2 pay for any drinks (even water) for lunch & dinner.

Absolutely horrible experience. We got there and they were overbooked so they transferred us to the Gala hotel, staff did not seem remorceful at all, this gala hotel was close to all the nightcblubs. We have 2 children one of which if 4 months old and my husband has a bad leg as a result of 9 operations so the transfer was in itself appauling, then the next day when we complained all they offered was breakfast and dinner for compensation , they wanted me to sign a disclaimer which i did not do as i plan to complain formally to the alexandre chain and hotels.com which we booked through as we are absolutely disgusted at the move and also the disinterest the staff showed us. The staff was also rude and i would not stay there even if they offered me a free holiday, i think hotels.com should not offer this hotel in their books as we were upset over the lack of simpathy for us.

La Siesta Las Americas

The hotel and amenities were good, room was spacious and clean and the location was perfect. The only downfall was the food and the canteen type service. The quality of the food was poor so much so, we only had 2 breakfast and 1 evening meal, which was on our lst night. Apart from the food everything else was good.

Plus points :
1-Friendly staff
2-Large room(more of a junior suite)
3-Cheap wine(by the 1/4 ltre) available at restaurant
4-Room was done at requested time

Minus points :
1-Mini-bar arrangement a rip-off (minimum of €25 to spend,without choice of drinks);you should be able to rent a fridge instead.
2-Barbecue :bland food;long waits; noisy \"animacion\" outside,which means you can't sleep before midnight...
3- Quite a long way from beach;they should operate other entrance at the opposite of only one(easy with their magnetic card system !)

Unimpressed by food in restaurant,gym room,press stall,etc.More of a ***superior than of a **** .

Hotel Siesta great location

Hotel Siesta 4*
Hotel in a great location for the beach shops bars and restaurants all within n5 mins walk .
Hotel ok , pool area great need to upgrade to a club room as these are the rooms around the pool the others overlook the car park and road.
Club room also provides you with entry into the spa on a daily basis great to wind down after a long day sun bathing
Staff at reception good check in easy , rooms were not the cleanest i have been in thin layer of dust on cabinets and the sofa stained and grubby could do with a refresh .beds are the usual for europe a bit like a camp bed
Went half board breakfast has a good choice for all tastes cooked and healthy options , dinner as most buffets was luke warm at best but plenty of choose especially if you like seafood .
Be warned if you like to watch the TV between sunbathing and going out there's no english channels other than the news

LA SIESTA

our stay at LA SIESTA was one of our more enjoyable holidays we have had in las americas over the past 20 years , because it is situated right in the centre of the resort. we had a nice room but it was situated right at the end of the complex ,looking onto a row of trees. we would have liked a room nearer to reception and looking over the pool area. but that said we will be back with a room hopefully situated in a better location.

OVERALL A GOOD HOTEL, NOT SURE IT SHOULD BE 4 STARS BUT LARGELY ENJOYABLE.
EVENING ENTERTAINMENT WAS DUBIOUS AND VERY LOUD AND WENT ON PAST MIDNIGHT WHICH MAY BE A PROBLEM IF YOU HAVE KIDS WHO NEED TO SLEEP!

overall view

well it was a very nice hotel with not alot of facilities like other hotels that surround it. Drinks from bar and restaurant had to be put on a tab and be paid for at the end of stay. Asked to contact police and was told that they were not a secretarial service

Værelset var fint, men der var kakerlakker og rengøringen var sparsom under opholdet. All inclusive fungerede ikke. Da det først var da vi kom frem til hotellet, at vi blev gjort opmærksom på at man fik forblandede drinks i stedet for friske fx eller den billige appelsinjuice i stedet for rigtig juice. På det tidspunkt var det ikke muligt for os at komme ud af all-inclusive. Maden var heller ikke noget prangende. Alt i alt en lidt skuffende oplevelse og vil ikke anbefale at bestille med andet end morgenmad. Den indendørs pool havde man ikke adgang til uden et ekstra gebyr. Det var ellers en af grundene til at vi valgte hotellet. Pool faciliteter var rigtig fine og det var legeplads, legerum og fitness også.
