Vanilla Garden Boutique Hotel was a great place to stay in Tenerife. The location is excellent—close to the beach and the nightlife, but still quiet and relaxing. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The room itself was okay—comfortable enough, though not the highlight of the stay. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel if you’re looking for a convenient, calm place within walking distance of everything.

Really nice hotel. It's so well kept always saw cleaners about keeping the place tidy. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of choice. They do nice cocktails. Staff very polite and helpful with all our needs. Hotels in good location quiet at night considering bars are in walking distance. Would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Tenerife.

Let me start by saying that our welcome to the hotel was excellent for our 7 day stay. We were greeted by the friendliest lady. I didn't get her name, but she made our welcome amazing. Long blonde hair originally from Belgium. She greeted us with a glass of Prosecco. A big shout out to Rafu who made every morning he worked a great start to the day. The cleaning people were also amazing, so thank you.

The rooms are average nothing elaborate, but having a balcony was really nice. To operate safe, you will need to pay 18€ for a week or 3€ a day. Well worth it for a piece of mind. The beds and pillows are okay. To me they felt like two steps up from a pull out sofa mattress (in my opinion). Could be different in a suite.
Pool: Sun beds and pool were wonderful. Happy hour from 4-5 at the bar. You can rent large towels from the front desk for a deposit of 10€ a piece. There is a 2.50€ fee for a clean replacement.
Food: Breakfast was good. Dinner another story. Theme night was not like their commercials. If you are a foodie, I do not recommend. Not included are drinks including water. Definitely not a renowned French chef. French fries, onion rings, broccoli, cauliflower, cheeses, same salads or make your own. Show casing was a joke. Two proteins offered a night. Fish, hamburger, pork offered nothing else on plate.

We booked a suite with a hot tub and two balconies, which was great. Lovely hotel with buffet breakfast . More than meets your needs. The buffet dinner was as good with plenty of offer. All the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and most helpful. The room was spotless and could find no faults. Very central location. Close to beaches , restaurants and bars. Within about 4 km you have top brand name shops.

Everything was great, except for the amount of noise between rooms and from the outside. Sure, everybody’s there to have a good time. Zero complains about people making joyful noise. But the room’s isolation is next to nothing, so don’t go there expecting to close the door and make the world go away. The world is still quite audible. For a 4-star hotel, I was expecting far better isolation, but hey, whatever. We still had a great time, and the location is excellent.

We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back again. The Hotel is lovely, well situated and spotless. Being adult only was a big advantage as was always peaceful. The pool is great and the food is good. Staff are very friendly. We ate at the hotel a few times and enjoyed everything we had.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time at Vanilla Garden. Right from the welcome drink to the checkout where they arranged transfer to the airport, we felt very well looked after.

An oasis.
Stayed here for one week in room 418. Excellent ground floor room with massive, comfortable double bed. Small tiled private terrace with table and two chairs, also a garden area with two sun-loungers. Every member of staff were courteous and professional. If there is one very small negative, we were slightly disappointed in the choice of food. However, everything else about this hotel is of the highest quality, including the laid back evening entertainment.

The staff were excellent, in particular Julie was an angel as she helped us through an unexpected situation. Our only negative was that the room we had was located right next to the reception area which at times people gathered at night and was loud. The grounds were clean and the amenities comfortable. Location of the hotel is good if you like this kind of mass tourism resort. The place is more like blackpool with sun than tenerife. The hotel is rather small which in my opinion is great as I dont like massive resort type hotels. The common areas are quite nice but rooms are a bit dated. Bedsheets / Towels are old and worn. Some basics like tissue box on night stands were not offered.The next door hotel was doing renovation works which cannot be avoided but it was quite disruptive especially early mornings. No lift which is OK for low ruse but take it into account when you ll need to drag your luggage up. Food wise typical buffet with daily variation but dont expect typical or high quality cuisine. Staff is very hard working and super friendly. All in all bot great value for money (at least not when we went beginning of january). Adult only was quite good no kids running or screaming around. We stayed in 5***** for that rate but then npt in Jan and not south Tenerife.

Went with such high expectations for the price of this hotel but didn’t live up to my thoughts , too far from beach , not enough sun round the pool lots shaded bits , food average, comfortable bed but hard pillows, no atmosphere at bar, and I would always check charges lots mix ups on room charge , also get charged to change pool towels !!

Paid the staff at the property but wasn’t advised to pay in euros because it would heave been cheaper. Paid a extra £50 on the asking price 😡

The staff were extremely friendly and the helpful and the catering staff were exceptional with coping with my gluten intolerance offering to cook separate meals from those on the buffet menu. The buffet menu offered a large variety of dishes to suit all pallets for those guests who were not so worried about a strict diet. The accommodation was spotless both in the room and all around the grounds. The “icing on the cake” was that as we had to leave are room by midday on departure day, a room was offered with a half hour slot where you could shower and repack swimsuits and towels before you leave, which was great for us as we didn’t need to be at the airport until 6.00pm. All in all I would highly recommend this airport for couples as it was a very relaxing holiday.

Great location for the hotel and rooms are modern and high quality. Rooms are air conditioned and high tech. The walk in shower is powerful and hot, the beds are large and very comfy (choice of pillows too!). Pool area is pretty and well kept with heated pool and very comfy trendy lounge beds. Breakfast was lovely and all of high quality. It is difficult to find anything to fault with this hotel.

Very Disappointed
On arrival I felt good. But sadly that went quickly. The room is right next to the resturant so the balcony is almost in the restaurant. There is a speaker playing music so you can't sleep until after the resturant closes and your woken at 720 am with more music. The balcony had no sun the room was cold and the air con did not allow heat. The WiFi would not work in the room. Reception now this. Woke next morning feeling cold and run down. Breakfast looked nice from a distance. All the food was of cheap standard sausages like the one in a chip shop. The only good thing was the actual coffee from a machine.
I did not use the pool. You have to pay 10 euro deposit for towel and 2.50 if you want changed. The outside of the hotel at night from 10pm was lots of people harassing trying to sell drugs and I felt very intimidated. This is an adults hotel but the area is not for families. I decided to move hotels as did not feel safe.

Everything is spotlessly clean. Rooms and beds comfy and choice of pillows. We had a fridge, microwave and kettle in our room which was great and two sun beds outside along with table and chairs. Breakfast was plentiful and there was gluten free options for my husband. I really cannot find fault with hotel. The staff were lovely and happy to help. Very good location only minutes from the strip but quiet enough to get some sleep. Great value and will happily recommend.

Very relaxing hotel right in the heart of anything you’d like to do. 5 mins from the strip to go party and 10 - 20 minutes away from brilliant dining areas. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more and will definitely be coming back.

A fantastic hotel - could not have been happier with everything! We stayed in a suite and the hot tub on the balcony was amazing, as was the double rainfall shower and the super king bed. Vanilla Garden left a pleasant taste
The Vanilla Garden was the right choice of a small personal service type hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful although there was a lack of explanation of the dinner arrangements. The room was large and comfortable and the bed extra large. All necessary conveniences plus some extras (microwave). We did not master the air conditioning and the Spanish plumbing was its usual quality. I found it interesting that it was promoted as 4 star and provided, mainly, a buffet meal service. A la carte service was available but at double the buffet price. We found other restaurants providing a la carte at a more reasonable price. All in all a very satisfactory stay, certainly out of season.

Quality stay at Vanilla Garden, the hotel is run great by the staff who can't be any more helpful, the pool, rooms, breakfast, bar all clean, tidy and modern. Corridors are bit noisy outside the rooms from cleaners if you want to sleep in past 9am.

Gorgeous hotel, great atmosphere and breakfast had a large selection. Our room overlooked the pool which was lovely and quiet, our only downside was the arrival of other guests, the noise of them cin fans going disturbed our sleeep but other than that a welcomed break!

This hotel was very relaxing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with large bathroom and plenty of storage. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The area is very convenient to many restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc and although the general suburb is somewhat tacky the second you walk into Vanilla Garden it is like a haven of calm. We didn't get to use the pool as the weather was unfortunately cloudy and cool, but there were plenty of sun beds and the pool looked clean and modern.

Fantastic hotel. Lovely modern decor, with the most comfortable bed! Smart TV, fast free WiFi, fridge, microwave and safe all in room. Pool area is very nice, and just the right size for the hotel. Couldn't fault the staff, very friendly! Breakfast was brilliant and served to 11am every day. I would highly recommend and look forward to staying in the near future!

Definitely not what I expected and over priced
Booked last minute through Expedia, this is a hotel that doesn’t have a drive way to it you literally step off the street and that’s your reception. If your looking for nice views I wouldn’t bother staying here, although it was clean that’s simply because it had a fresh paint and new curtains and pictures put up. Very noisy where our room was as we was next to the cleaners cupboards and they like to early morning bang about and love slamming doors. This is more a hotel for older people 50+.

Sofa bed was comfortable. TV channels BBC1 and ITV available. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel central - ten minutes walk to Veronicas, twenty minutes walk to Siam Mall and waterpark and twenty minute walk to Hard Rock cafe. Only gripes were hot tub turned on by itself early morning and room could have been a little cleaner upon arrival e.g. wardrobe doors, skirting etc.
