The room was okay. There was no iron, toothbrush, coffee maker, or tea. They provided two beds joined together, which is not ideal for a couple.

The hotel itself is good outside of the room, with a nice pool and other activities.

Wonderful Trip!

Wonderful from start to finish! We are already planning our return trip for next year. Hotel staff always on hand to assist, Guest Experience booked our excursions and when we asked if it was possible to move rooms to get the evening sun on our balcony they were very accommodating, as promised the very next morning we moved rooms! Overall lovely stay, ideal location, fabulous cocktails, great evening entertainment and wide variety of food selections for both breakfast and dinner. Would definitely recommend!!

Fabulous Hotel with Outstanding Staff

I stayed here for 5 nights with my friend for a relaxing break. The hotel is wonderful. It is in a wonderful location, walking distance from everything you need. The rooftop pool was fabulous and I would recommend booking this area. The view from this place is gorgeous. The food was great, both breakfast and dinner. The selection was unbelievable. Something for every taste. The staff in this hotel were amazing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Nothing was an issue from anyone you approached. Outstanding!

It seemed as if all the staff were beginners. The range of the menu on offer was huge, but its no good if you can't deliver quality cooking. (A Gordon Ramsay nightmare). The serving staff seem to think they were on holiday too. Little bundles of hair were on the floor around my room for the duration. (I'm bald). Good location.

Lovely Honeymoon

Me and my partner stayed here for our honeymoon, it was beyond amazing! From checking in to checking out the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely, great facilities. Rooms were clean and modern. Great range of choice for breakfast, Buffet style. Gorgeous lunch on the roof top bar area also. We loved every minute, definitely recommend!

This was our second time to stay at this hotel & it was better this time which was amazing .
All the staff were always smiling & they were very friendly & extremely helpful.
The food choices served every evening for dinner was amazing , there was so much & very tasteful .Also the breakfast was also fabulous & plentiful .
The cleanliness of the pool area was spotless & the rooms was well looked after . The cleaning staff were very helpful .

Just as previous reviewers have said food amazing very clean. Modern feel. Didn’t have a pool view room and having now stayed would really have made a difference having one so I’d definitely ask. Looking out of hotel towards pool ask for rooms on right hand side. The rooftop area is beautiful, expected to pay a bit more for view and service but prices were a bit steep even compared to prices elsewhere in the hotel. Gym equipped with what you’d need though I did t use it. Spa area looked lovely though again didn’t use. Wasn’t told until I asked to book a bed on the rooftop that it was €40 each although that was used as a credit towards any food/drink purchased while you were there so if spending day up there you’d definitely be able to use it. We ended up a bit burnt and as no shade, umbrellas had to cancel so ended up not using. Was very nice for drinks later watching sunset though. Staff really friendly, removes cleaned daily. Used hairdressers for blow dry and curls which was €30. Relatively pleased with it as don’t suppose it’s ever the same as your regular hairdresser. We travelled last week in Jan. Sun lower than summer so areas of pool a bit shaded but still plenty beds in sunny spots. There was a foam pool party which was good fun. Didn’t stay in for any of the nighttime entertainment but it was always busy. I’d definitely recommend it and would go back.

The perfect stay!

Had an amazing stay, the hotel staff made it perfect, so friendly and great recommendations for restaurants etc. Lovely hotel too, loads of space to sunbathe. Rooftop cafe/bar is a brilliant place to sit and relax with a drink with great views and the rooftop area is gorgeous! I went in January so not as busy so the experience may be different in peak times! Although i had the basic room it was clean and adequate for what we needed, with view of the street which wasnt too bad as we had mountain views also. Will definitely stay again.

Despite being a little disappointed initially with the room as it wasn’t quite as big or plush as it looked on the pictures, we found it to be very clean & comfortable for a basic room. Every member of staff we encountered was helpful, cheerful & friendly. The animation team worked extremely hard to entertain and get people involved but were never too pushy if you didn’t want to join in. The evening entertainment was mostly of a high standard. The food was extremely varied and delicious and the restaurant staff great. Although not next to the beach, it was only a short walk away and in a nice quiet location. The pool area was clean & tidy with plenty of sun beds.

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in. Amazing staff, loads of variety for lunch and dinner, entertainment was excellent without being too intrusive and the room (we stayed in the romance room with exclusive half board) was definetly worth paying extra for. We got two free dinners in Santa Rosa, I would have paid for them as they were outstanding. Only fault would be they don't police people reserving beds so if your a late sleeper you may struggle in the height of summer.

Very good stay in an excellent hotel.

A very good hotel in all respect. We stayed for 10 days. Fabulous food selection and two small swimming pools and jacussy on the roof, with romantic scenery and sunset. The only disappointment when we arrived now in late february was that on our balcony there was never sunshine. Since the hotel is built in a U curve facing west, in the southern side of the U in february at least the sun never reaches the balcony, people should know that. The rooms on the northern part of the U building are more expensive, and all were occupied and no chance of upgrading. There was only one comfortable chair in the room, but in your announce and my papers from Hotels.com says that we should have a bed sofa but at the hotel told me this was wrong on your part???

Excellent food and facilities, my only negative is that our room on the 1st floor had a constant smell of cigarettes that seemed to be coming from a vent in the bathroom and was quite strong at Various times. If I’d known it was going to be a recurring issue I’d have asked to move rooms but nonetheless we had an excellent stay.

Lovely hotel fantastic staff great food only thing disappointed in was there dress code used to be NO shorts male or female but doesn’t seem to matter anymore people can go and get changed into shorts after dinner if they wish, which used to happen years ago and it worked now don’t bother very very sad. animation team brilliant one you ladie Hannah made you want to get up and join in with everything even if you didn’t always had smile on her face made you feel great.

We had a lovely time, but had to move rooms as the first one was noisy and tired looking, this despite asking for a quiet room when we booked months ago.
It was our wedding anniversary but we didn’t get anything special.
On the whole, staff great, food good, rooms, hotel and exclusive lounge all a bit tired and for us lacked the wow factor. Don’t get excited about the photos of gorgeous sliced fruit and champagne in an ice bucket in your exclusive room, the reality is a few pieces of bruised fruit and a warm bottle of cheap cava, no ice bucket!

Charming Hotel close to everything you want

My partner and I stayed at this lovely Hotel. We had a wonderful time and a week there was too short. My partner used the pool more than I did but above all we both enjoyed the food and access to the VIP area. The variaty and freshness of the food on display during breakfast and dinner was amazing. I came back home with an extra 2kgs around my waist but I am not complaining. Great rooms with nice views of the pool.

Overall it was good, nice food, bar area and pool, I was a bit disappointed in getting a room overlooking concrete, and asked for a double bed and got 2 singles, I had some dry cleaning done which they said took 24 hours, in fact I got back after 52 hours, just in time to go home, they don't provide Irons you have to book the ironing room for half hour but the 2 times I tried to book it, it was taken already, so went out with crinkly tops, tried to get a snack at 1 minute past 4pm in the pool bar, but as it was one minute past they refused to serve me, the staff were very good apart from at the pool bar, they spoke very very little English, and didn't seem to care for guests as much as the rest of the team.

Very warm welcome by all the staff to an exceptional and modern hotel. Every part including the room was very clean and easy. The Guest Experience team went above and beyond to check our check in process went ok and that the remainder of our stay that everything was sorted and organised by them. They booked the water park and excursions for different days. We could just relax and turn up as they sorted everything. All for free!!!
The rooftop pool and bar were very chilled areas with a good set of music playlist. Good to see a policy of bed reserving being kept on top of and made sure we could always find somewhere to enjoy the sun.
The food options were good, something different each day and all cooked fresh. Excellent quality and better than other similar set up hotels that I have stayed. The drinks were slightly pricey to compare with a pub down the road, it is similar to a cocktail bar...which is similar to the service. Good cocktails and plenty of selection.

When we arrived we were given room 511 the highest floor... On my request last October!!. I had asked for a room on low level because my husband and i were both recovering from surgery. We finally ended up with a room that overlooked a back alley car park.. No sun shone on it whatsoever very very disappointed. Also the arrangement regarding the pool side loungers was totally ridic'ulous.

Lovely hotel and great location

Hotel was lovely. Welcomed with glass of champagne on arrival.
Every morning and evening the display of food was outstanding. We have never stayed in a hotel where the food has been of such a consistent high quality.
The hotel was immaculately clean. They have a strict towel policy which was most pleasing as we never failed to get a sunbed by the pool.
The entertainment was super with daily activities for those who fancied a bit of distraction such as table tennis, darts and aqua aerobics.
Evening entertainment on the whole was great particularly on the last two evenings (great magic show).

Next to reception, so noisy at times, very noisy in the mornings, with cleaners moving beds, furniture above us.
Breakfast lovely, dinner variable, soup cold on a couple of occasions, long wait for food at times.

Such a lovely hotel all in all! All members of staff were lovely and very welcoming, everyone had a smile on their face. The hotel is very modern and definitely the best I've ever stayed in! On our last couple of days there they were doing building works, but as we went out during the days we weren't bothered by it. Excellent facilities, lovely clean room. Wide range for breakfast and dinner. Highly highly recommend this hotel! Only downfall was upon arrival at just gone 2pm (which is also their check in time) all I wanted was to settle in and have a shower but my room wasn't ready for the next hour. Only a very minor disappointment otherwise the hotel was top notch! Credit to all the staff who make it great!

Amazing hotel!!

Fabulous experience here from the minute we got there till the minute we left. Such classy interior, absolutely beautiful hotel... The rooms are lovely and spacious & we received an outstanding service from the staff. would highly recommend for any couples or friends going away. There is an amazing rooftop bar and pool area with a jacuzzi with a beautiful view of las Americas .
Couldn't fault it will definitely be returning!!!

Recently refurbished the pool area & exterior look lovely but little has been spent on the rooms. The bedroom had no tea/coffee making facility. Whilst the maid service was daily it was \"licked\" around. The food in the restaurant would have been excellent if it had been hot.
At a cost of £168 for a basic half board room, I expected better.

great place to relax!

Myself and my partner stayed here for a week in early January. The hotel is lovely and with it being adults only its a great place to relax and enjoy the sun. The pools, bars and hotel facilities are fantastic.

The only downside is the food...its pretty terrible to be honest!

Hotel publicity pictures look Fantastic and it's clear that a lot of money has been invested in the hotel refurbishment, however it seems very little of the budget was spent on the most important part, the actual bedrooms!!!

Very small rooms with paper thin walls, basically and cheaply decorated, and filled with cheap furniture. The bed could not have been more uncomfortable, and when we said to reception that the pillars felt like they were full of sand they laughed and said they thought they called them \"stones\" but had no alternative.

We could hear every word and movement from rooms either side and above us, even sounds we would rather not hear from next doors toilet (yak)...

The sheets and bedding were heavily worn out and poor quality too. Air conditioning was not working, but workmen seemed to be fitting pipes in the hallway outside our room so it may have been due to that?

Hotel food was acceptable, but certainly nothing special and quite basic, so we decided eat out after the first day.

The rooftop bar is crazy expensive and charged €58 for 4 drinks that cost us €16 in the bar opposite.

The glossy, well shot, and very selective website images of this hotel gave us the false impression that this was going to be a very comfortable stay. It was probably the worst room we have had for a long time and we were pleased to get home.

Much better places available at a much lower price.

This is a great hotel would recommend. Hotel staff very friendly and can't do enough for you and the cleaners are the most friendly and helpful I have met. Facilities are great including the roof pool. We have already rebooked and from now on will only stay here when going to Tenerife.

Stayed at this hotel at Christmas 2016. Hotel looks newly refurbished. Rooms are clean. The only downside we could found is the noise. We stayed at room 405 which is in the right wing of the property and been woken up every morning g by the befuge truck enptying glass bins.
The food is excellent; wide choice and freshly cooked in front of you. Great variety. Staff is very helpful. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, shops and bars.There are two plunge pools on the roof top with beautiful view of the cily, a jacuzzi and a small sunbathing area. Fitness facilities inclood a small gym and a small Turkish bath.
If it wasn't for the nice I would give this hotel 5 out of 5.

Beds are like bricks. Most uncomfortable I have ever slept in
Room view was of a wall

Good location for winter sun, overall good enough

This hotel is in a good location within easy reach of the beach and bars.

Location:
Easy to get around and a lot of activities nearby. I recommend staying away from the las Americas 'strip' and heading to the seafront or Los Christianos.

Room:
The bed was really really comfortable, which was the main thing. We had room 410 which was very spacious. The only criticism is that the bathroom was a bit grubby and needs a revamp as some of the ceiling tiles were falling out...
The walls are fairly thin and we could hear our neighbours' TV / sometimes talking, and the entertainment in the evening. It doesn't go on too late though so wasn't a big problem to us.

Food:
Breakfast is incredible. Do queue up for the freshly cooked stuff rather than just the buffet though. Well worth it.
Dinner is good. Don't expect high-end restaurant food as it is a buffet, but for a buffet it is good. We didn't eat here every night, but enjoyed it when we did. Good selection of meats, and always something to cater for us veggies...

Bar:
It's worth a trip to the bar at the top, and the rooftop pool. Yes, the bar is more expensive on the roof, but let's be honest it's not breaking the bank. Compared to bars outside of the hotel which charge you €1 for a beer it's pricey, but realistically it's fine as a treat, and drinks are good.

Staff:
The staff really were fantastic and very helpful throughout our stay. I can't fault the staff anywhere in the hotel, and they are the ones who make this hotel 4*.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff

Loved my stay here, staff very helpful and food was great. Cocktails at the pool bar were very good. Only negative would be the rooms were not up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel

Nice hotel , very modern , would recommend.

Our room had a south facing (not pool view) balcony which looked out on the rear of some tall and dated apartment blocks. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent. Our room did not have a double bed but two singles-disappointed. Food selection was good but queuing for the popular dishes could be addressed by the management with better organisation. And the restaurant needs a new breakfast chef who can cook a proper fried egg!
Neither of us is an invalid but the hotel facilities in our opinion are among the best we have observed during many years of traveling. Hope these comments are useful.

3 Night Stay at Tigotan Lovers

We came here with friends from 23rd - 26th Nov but after reading reviews beforehand we were worried there may be building work ongoing so emailed before arrival. We were told that there was no building work but this was clearly a lie to stop us cancelling and booking another hotel. The ground floor jacuzzi pool was out of action our complete stay and there was building work on every floor as they drilled and installed fire hoses on each floor which was very noisy.
The choice of food was good and varied each night and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The sun beds were excellent and very comfortable and you get a great view from the rooftop pool and bar though you need to get there early if you want a sunbed up there. The rooftop bar generally added 2 EUR for exactly the same drinks as the ground floor bars which made me think I was back in rip off Britain again. There's no need to do that, you pay enough for the hotel in the first place.
Would I come back again? Yes, if there was no building work, everything was 'working' and they dropped their prices a bit. It cost around 450 EUR for a 3 night stay for 2 on a half board basis but I don't feel it was good value for money and I'm sure I could have got somewhere similar for around 100 EUR less.

Lovely hotel, central location

All communal areas are very welcoming and all recently refurbished to a high standard. The pool area is excellent with good quality comfortable sun loungers. The rooftop terrace has even better loungers and the views are great. Would recommend the spa, their couples massage was very relaxing.
The restaurant was clean and the staff were all friendly, however, the grill was a disappointment. There was only one chef cooking and there was always a large queue of guests waiting no matter what time of the night. It made that central area very congested

Great location.

This hotel could be great. There was a lot of renovation work going on which we were unaware of before arriving. Decor in general needs a lot of TCL. Restaurant food was the same every night and boring, ate out on our last night just to have something different. Would return to this hotel when the upgrade is finished as the location is great.

A very good hotel but undergoing renovations.

Major glass sides to atrium being removed, craned out and replacements craned in; necessitating parts of the sun terrace being cordoned off and the 'Exclusive lounge' being closed. Also significant renovations to one of the floors, meaning noise. All understandable and perhaps 'so what?' but no offer of a quid pro quo say in terms of catering. Staff friendly but there could have been more clearing up and replenishment when the 'Exclusive lounge' was available. Despite all this we liked it!

Great location

The hotel is undergoing a refurb which the hotel is trying to limit the effect on guests the best they can. As seems to be the Spanish way the finish quality on the refurb is something to be desired!

Great pool area and restaurant . I'm not a great fan of buffets but plenty choice for dinner and breakfast . The resort itself has lots restaurants though if you board B and B . The cafe del mar roof top bar is excellent but not busy so lacks atmosphere. Hopefully the bar will become better attended once it is known more

Other bar prices in the hotel are reasonable . Pool towels are provided and we had no problems getting a sun bed

Best hotel we have ever stayed in Tenerife

We have just returned from an amazing week at the Noelia Sur and can't wait to return asap! The hotel oozes sophistication with friendliness from every member of staff. We booked a pool view room and it was delightful with comfortable beds, attractive decor, flat screen tv with English channels , fridge and well appointed bathroom with a decent hairdrier. The hotel was immaculately clean as were the grounds and pool areas.
We loved the new rooftop infinity pools and jacuzzi, lovely comfy sunbeds and good choice of music playing from The cafe del Mar who run the rooftop area.
The food was of a very good standard with delightful waiting staff, never waited more than 2 minutes for a wine waiter. I like the restaurant layout with a decent space between the tables so you didn' feel too close to the neighbouring tables, you could also eat otdoors.
They have a nice outdoor entertainment area and bar, we watched the evening shows before heading out into Las Americas and they were of a good standard. We will definately be returning to this hotel.
