It is a small boutique hotel where all employees going well above and beyond while taking care of the guests. From hotel reception (Victoria helped us a lot) to serving staff of the signature restaurant - everybody was about guests.

All of the staff from the Reception area through to Dinning were always smiling, friendly and always at hand to help with anything or just a chat.
The hotel has a great relaxed vibe which is a great credit to the staff.
We found the location to be fabulous as walking along the coast one way took us towards Adeje and the other to Los Cristianos. So much yet to discover so will definitely be returning in the near future.
Love the vide at the hotel, thank you for making our stay a wonderful one.

Superb relaxation hotel.

Took a week to chill out and this was the perfect place. Never felt so relaxed. Quiet very well appointed hotel right on the beach front but a 5 minute walk to a bustling scene in any direction. Will definitely be back.

Love this hotel. Been quite a few times the only downside is the breakfast , the food you can order from the kitchen can be very hit and miss. I had scrambled eggs they were awful overcooked egg then chopped not made with milk or cream.the omlettte wasn’t cooked, it was still runny in the middle. I think the breakfast could be much bettter from this standard of hotel . Thats my only complaint the hotel is fantastic apart from the breakfast.

Great location, great beach, very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one time and it was nice also. Beach bar just outside the hotel is very nice place for lunch. It would be nice if the hotel could reserve umbrella and beach chairs for their guests, but we knew that the beach is public. Posting tide schedule would be nice as well: we didn’t realize that it is impossible to swim during the low tide. But overall very nice hotel.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach fantastisch! Von Anfang bis Ende wurden wir von einem äußerst sympathischen Personal empfangen, das sich stets darum bemühte, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Zimmer waren wunderschön und sehr sauber - ein wirklich gemütliches Zuhause während unseres Urlaubs.

Besonders überrascht und erfreut waren wir, als wir ein kostenloses Upgrade für unser Zimmer erhielten. Die Lage des Hotels war unschlagbar, direkt vor der malerischen Strandpromenade. Die Eleganz des Hotels verlieh unserem Urlaub eine besondere Note.

Ein weiterer Höhepunkt war zweifellos die Massage im Hotel. Es war die beste Massage, die ich je erlebt habe - pure Entspannung und Erholung.

Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und besonders toll fanden wir, dass wir selbst entscheiden konnten, ob wir am Abend oder am Mittag essen wollten. Das Essen war insgesamt köstlich und das Frühstück verdient besondere Erwähnung für seine Nachhaltigkeit und Leckerei. Der Service während der Mahlzeiten war ebenfalls hervorragend, die Teller wurden immer prompt abgeräumt und die bestellten Gerichte von der à la carte-Karte wurden zügig zubereitet.

Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt war, dass die à la carte-Karte sich während unseres Aufenthalts nicht änderte. Für eine Woche Aufenthalt war die Auswahl großartig, aber für Gäste, die länger bleiben, könnte das Essen eventuell etwas langweilig werden.

Insgesamt können wir dieses Hotel jedoch wärmstens empfehlen.

A wonderful hotel.

Amazing holiday. Excellent service and such consistently friendly staff. A few maintenance issues with the room but they were on them very quickly. A quiet and tranquil hotel which was a retreat from the noise of the town and neighbouring hotels.
We were concerned about the possibility of children being noisy spoiling the holiday but there were only two families with a small child each who were so well behaved you hardly knew they were there -and this was a 9 night mid August stay.

Everything , all services , were of superb quality. A leaflet about SPA services available in guest rooms, with some detailing of available services, would probably bring more clients to your SPA. By the way my wife claims that she received the best \"facial\" in her life in Sir Anthony SPA.

The hotel is set back from the beach, but our room overlooked the ocean and at night we could hear the waves. The pool area was lovely, the room was perfect - with a pillow menu, Milton Brown toiletries and a jacuzzi bath. Our room had an upstairs sun terrace with small pool, which was really nice. The Oasis Spa was tranquil and the treatments heavenly but the best thing was the staff; so cheerful and attentive. Nothing was was too much trouble. Even the housekeeping staff were similey and chatty each morning. Really, nothing at all to complain about!

Hotel was on the beach and very close to everything the staff were most pleasant and helpful, however the chairs in the room could not be used as the were slanted forward and the curtains did not really fit which meant light in the early morning unless you spent a few minutes trying to make them meet. The pool area was very tired and some of the beds shabby they also seemed to have a problem with the grass and the garden in general it was a bit on the tired side as well. We asked to change room when we arrived and were shown one but were told it would be extra and we felt we had already paid to much

Hotel was extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style for cold food and anything else was cooked on request. The staff were so helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Pool was a great temperature.

Not what we expected

It's a nice looking building however unclear where you pull up to as no signs except a door mat. The staff seemed friendly and helpful but neglected to tell us about any of the available services activities at both the sister hotels and surrounding bars outside of the grounds expecting us to either know this detail or not want to know not sure which. The glass exterior ensures the walkway to the too level rooms will get you in a sweat as there appears to be no air con in this section to every time you enter or leave your room it's stifling. The only services that were mentioned in any detail although not much was the over expensive oasis spa treatments and the gala dinner they through once a week. Other than that nothing else on offer. No evening entertainment unless you venture to the sister hotels and ask them if your allowed in. The bar was very small and the swimming pool again on the small side. The room was the best bit very quiet overlooking seafront with sunset views but even this lacked the usual leaflets or guidance document telling you about the hotel or the area. The breakfast servjce was good until we were needing to be quick for our flight home and no one seemed to be working. And the cleaning was ok but using glass and black tiles it shows every bit of unclenliness the more you looked the more you saw. With a clear leak having happened in the room where floor boards were swollen and bottom of wardrobes had rotted away not what I would call a 5*Hotel or service

Perfect for its target audience.

Stayed in one of the level 3 rooms with the plunge pool. Rooms very good and represent the style the hotel wants to give. Small boutique style aimed at 5 star. Great balcony and sea view. Spiral stairs a little tight up to the top roof terrace with sun loungers and our plunge pool. Everything you could wish for. Hotel is aimed at a specific market and representative for that market. Breakfast a true good five star mix buffet and table service. Amazingly clean. Guests are on the mature side. The hotel is perfect for its target audience however as more and more younger people are coming into the bracket to afford this hotel, things like usb charging points, sockets by the bedside both sides without removing the lamps, a more modern TV / Spund system and maybe some features aimed at the 40 plus generation who are going to be filling the rooms for the next 25 years.

From the moment we were greeted right through to checking out everything was excellent. The staff all had a smile and couldn't do enough to assist. Breakfasts were first class. The room was immaculate with a lovely sea view. Whilst the hotel itself is a calm haven it is within easy walking distance to livelier restaurants and pubs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again next year.

Lovely hotel but isolated at times

Lovely hotel and amazing staff who are very polite and helpful. Downside is nothing to do in the hotel and is at times very quite and boring with no entertainment. Was ok for us but sometimes on holiday you just want some of that evening entertainment. Hotel staff are lovely and polite and can't do enough for you. If you want a relaxing holiday with nothing to do but chill with staff fussing around you then this is the hotel for you. If you want somewhere with a bit of life and entertainment then it most certainly is not. Other downside is we had to go out to eat every day because it doesn't have a restaurant serving food and meals, I mean what hotel doesn't do evening meals?? Saying that breakfast is good everyday. Hotel is well situated, in the middle of both main resorts of Los Americas and Los Cristianos with both in 10 minutes walking distance with nice shops and restaurants around.

We will be back for more!

This is the 4th stay we have had at the Sir Anthony and we will be back for more. It is a oasis in the Arona area, ideally situated to take advantage of the high quality shops and restaurants in Arona as well as the livelier activities available in Playa de la Americas or Los Cristianos. The hotel rooms are a very comfortable with large beds (firm mattresses) tea and coffee facilities, good choice of TV - for Brits you have BBC and ITV as well as a couple other American channels. in room safe, stocked minibar, ample storage space and a very nice shower room, I am not sure if any rooms have a bath.

Perhaps the thing that tops all this are the staff who genuinely cannot do enough for you, this applies to of all staff from reception to hotel maids.

A very enjoyable stay in this hotel with the staff going overboard to help. The only down side is that very few people dine in the hotel in the evening that the place is deserted . There are so many good restaurants in the area with a lively atmosphere. The breakfast in the hotel is superb and the chef will make you whatever you wish even if not on the menu..loved this holiday and willing make a return visit.

Building Work Spoils Stay.

We were informed that some modifications to the hotel were being carried out during our stay.
This turned out to be major construction alterations which were very noisy and dirty during the days we were there.

Due to the modifications there were no restaurant or bar in the hotel.

Hotel rooms very small for the rating of the hotel. More like a business hotel rather than a holiday facility.

Nice quick weekend away

I stayed at sir Anthony for a solo weekend away. I chose this hotel as it was close to all the action but somewhere nice and peaceful to come back to. It's not too big so staff remember you but it's connected to cleopatra and the med for things like the gym spa and restaurants. The room I stayed in was on the first floor and it was very nice. I went for my holiday and was given a free bottle of champagne and they also stuck balloons on my door which was very sweet

Perfect quiet oasis

This was our third stay in Sir Anthony and there have been improvements that we hadn't realised were needed - well perhaps one was needed! Firstly the accommodation is still as good as ever, the rooms are very comfortable, we opt for a ground floor room for easy access to the pool, housekeeping are efficient and friendly. The one improvement that was needed was wifi, this is now very acceptable, a good signal that was not dropped at all during our stay. Other improvements made were to the bar and restaurant where a G&T trolley is now available - a good selection of different gins and different tonics. Breakfast also now includes a luxury buffet with Champagne! All in all another fab week for us and we will hopefully be back next year!

Lovely hotel overlooking sea.

Fabulous hotel at the heart of Las Americas. Staff and room fantastic were nothing was a trouble. Walking distance from the hub of some of the best restaurants on the island although tucked away enough if you want peace and quiet. Only downside to this hotel is the limited availability at breakfast although the staff are so accommodating they would try to meet your requirements were possible.

A Great Place for a Long Holiday

All rooms are ocean front. This is one of the few hotels on the island situated directly on a sandy beach. The rooms are spacious. The 8th floor has some rooms that are town house rooms with beautiful views to the ocean from the living room, balcony and bedroom. The pool is heated. You can opt for all inclusive for a reasonable price. We choose breakfast and dinner included to have the afternoon free to tour the island. The dinner offerings varied from day to day. The beach board walk is a well manicured long stretch with shopping and restaurants. A supermarket with reasonable priced snacks is located across the street. The staff is multilingual. The area is safe to walk around day and night time. My only regret is that I could not stay longer. It’s an ideal place for a long holiday.

Hotel is in an excellent location for all the restaurants around about. It is also not far to Los Cristianos for an evening stroll. We ordered room service one night as it was rather cold to go out and we didn't have long to wait for this and was excellent value along with the wine we ordered. The staff were very helpful. It is 3 years since we have visited no improvements have been made and perhaps a refresh particularly with the private pools.

A quiet spot in a busy resort

Great small hotel by the beach all staff very friendly. Ground floor rooms have terraces with direct access to the pool. The top floor rooms have there own sun terrace with plunge pool on upper level accessed by a spiral staircase, which you do need to be fairly agile to navigate. We have stayed twice and have felt looked after on both occasions.

Perfect really for those who want to be in walking distance to the beach restaurant's and Bars but also want peace and quite when in the hotel , Its also a very high standard both in room and in general.
Being quite small the pool and sunbeds are almost like a personal space . The restaurant can serve a very good standard of food although it was a little quite due to the vast amount of competition close by
For those wanting a quite days and lively nights its perfect

Booked a 4 night stay at the Sir Anthony as a surprise birthday gift for my husband it is a beautiful select boutique hotel where the staff are amazing a very big thank you to Sindy for arranging a beautiful birthday cake as a suprise
The staff do their utmost to please and make your stay special & it's also located in the best area of Las Americas we look forward to booking again very soon 10/10

Nice hotel, lovely rooms, shame about the pool...

We chose the Sir Anthony from other reviews on Expedia and perhaps that gave me such high expectations. Upon arrival I was slightly surprised at how small the hotel is, I wondered if we'd arrived at the rear entrance.

We were instantly greeted by very friendly Hotel staff who were superb throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very clean, modern, smart and fresh and it was a genuine 5 star room with a reasonable view.

I felt the hotel was a bit cold from an atmosphere point of view. Some low level background music would have been nice, but at times it felt deathly quiet. Maybe that's being too picky? But it just didn't feel homely...

We had breakfast on the first day, but in all honesty we didn't bother after that. The buffet isn't particularly immense but again nothing to complain about. Just wasn't enough selection for us. Not for a 5 star establishment. But again, its not really an issue.

My worst complaint would be about the pool area. This is a 5 star hotel with a 3 star swimming area. The pool was clean, but very small, worse still there is no running waterfalls (again, no ambient sound) and the area around the pool is muddy and untidy with grass that is too long. Its just not comfortable walking in mud and then getting into a pool and this area needs to be tiled.

Worse still is that the Hotel allow \"towel placement\" by the peasants who feel the bizarre need hog a bed in the best position all day, whilst never actually using it...

Fantastic holiday

The staff at the Sir Anthony, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left were all fantastic, so friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel itself is spotless, the accommodation is excellent, and the food delicious. We couldn't have asked for more, other than longer time there! We'll definitely be back at the Sir Anthony.

Second visit and highly recommend the Sir Anthony

As per the title of the review, this is our second visit and we look forward to a third. The hotel and location are first class. staff and general hotel facilities are excellent. we stayed on a BnB basis and recommend this approach as there are many great restaurants close by, Bianco, Friends and The hard Rock to name a few. The hotel restaurant food is good but it is also good to get out for a wider variety.

Lovely hotel and helpful, friendly staff.

Warm welcome on check in. Room was nice and comfortable with gorgeous bathroom. Room had own balcony which had the most stunning views of the beach. I could hear the waves at night which was lovely. Complementary smoothies and fruit served round the lovely pool. Great staff and hotel. Will stay again
