This place is a joke. They fail to mention that the spa is closed on Wednesdays and that the “rare find” poolside bar is only open from Thursday to Sunday. I arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon for a two day respite and expressed my disappointment of only learning about these limited hours upon my arrival. I agreed to stay for one night and asked for them to cancel my second day. They refused and the front desk person, Nikki, had the audacity to blame it on the fact that I did a last minute booking. First off, I researched the property for three weeks before booking Nikki, so perhaps your “Hotel & Spa” shouldn’t partake in deceptive sales practices by not stating that your amenities aren’t available on all days. Secondly, it doesn’t say “Hotel & sometimes a spa with the occasional poolside bar”, because that would be the opposite of false advertising which obviously your establishment could care less about.

The property and room were pretty. However, we were put on the second floor and there is no elevator. Since I recently had knee surgery it was very difficult to climb the unsafe stairs. Although we booked two queen beds, they put us in a tiny king bed room, stating it was an upgrade, “deluxe” room, but was so small, you could touch the walls from the sides of the bed.

They also charged a $30 “resort fee” for only one night. We asked what the fee covered and they said parking and a “box” breakfast at 7:30 am. It was awful, just a bagel, yogurt cup, etc.out of the refrigerator…nothing fresh. Also no restaurant on premises and nothing open close by in the morning.

The female staff who checked us in was rude, although the night manager and pool bartender were nice and helpful. (Don’t expect a sit down lounge or bar, only a tiny window to buy overpriced drinks.

You are better off going else where.

Loved our stay! So peaceful and relaxing. The only things I would prefer would be a small table and a comfortable chair in the room as well as a nice bed and a bench to sit on. Just lovely, though. The staff are warm and helpful, and the spa is a real treat.

My stay at this hotel resulted in the most horrific customer service experience I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry.

A mistake was made by the hotel that resulted in ​wrong date being booked. When I approached the front desk late at night to have the date corrected to my original requested stay—a simple accommodation—the employee was entirely unhelpful and seemed determined not to resolve the issue.

Despite confirming that he had available rooms, he refused to switch the date, effectively preferring to leave the room vacant rather than allow me to stay. This failure to accommodate, even after the hotel initiated the mistake, forced me to scramble to find alternative lodging late at night in a city with limited availability due to a local event.

The situation escalated when I expressed my frustration and refusal to leave until the error was rectified. Instead of finding a resolution, the employee called the police, falsely alleging that I was disturbing the hotel. Video surveillance would confirm that I was not a disturbance but simply a paying customer seeking resolution for a booking error.
Furthermore, the employee insisted I had confirmed the erroneous date via email, but a check of my records revealed the email only contained a generic cancellation policy and no date confirmation.

This level of rudeness, hostility, and deliberate lack of accommodation is outrageous and runs completely contrary to every positive hotel experience I have ever had.

I love this hotel! I have stayed probably about a handful of times now and it is so relaxing and clean. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. It’s an adult only hotel which makes it nice and peaceful. My only suggestion is to not stay right next to the Cleaning supply room as I woke up to noise at 8 AM which wasn’t that enjoyable. Other than that, I absolutely love this hotel and recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing Stay in Palm Springs.

For as many trips as I’ve made to Palm Springs in the last year plus, I wish I had found this gem sooner!

My room was tucked inside the interior hall, so did not open directly to the outside; but those rooms had seating right outside their door and sun shade(think cabana style). My room was gorgeous with a very comfy queen bed, a fireplace (decorative, only), keurig, mini fridge, and more.

Two glasses of champagne on the house! Pool and spa open 24 hours, fireplace on the second floor balcony overlooking the pool.

Unlimited candy bar!!!

I could go on and on, but this place is truly special. The buildings 90 years old, so there are going to be some imperfections.

My only gripe is that the WiFi was not working very well, so I used my phone hot spot for my laptop.

Also, if you require an elevator, make sure you ask for a first floor room as the property does not have one.

Otherwise, highly recommended to anyone and everyone!
