All the staff were fantastic and friendly, especially the hard so but happy team in the restaurant!! The rooms were tired and basic but ok, air con was ok! The property is at the edge of both las americas and los christianos so costs about €8-10 each way in a taxi. Main pool absolutely Baltic but middle one fantastic hence the beds all going by 8am!!

Lovely 4 Star hotel, air conditioning provides a nice chill during the mid day sun. Decor very nice and very clean, the room smell nice and are over two floors with beds provided in both. The only negative whilst checking bed sheets in one of the beds a crockroach crawled out of the sheets - this probably happened whilst the room was being aired or came in with the sheets. The breakfast is good but dishes could be cleaned.

The resort is beautiful and the room was gorgeous (we had a 2-level with a kitchen, which was nice even though we went with AI). The food at the buffet was delicious with a lot of options, I would have preferred an a la mode restaurant on site for some variety, but what is there is excellent. The activities staff are wonderful (all the staff were wonderful, actually!), but the games room was lacking (broken machines, missing billiards balls, etc.). Easy to get a lounge chair. Well appointed amenities. Overall, it was a perfectly relaxing holiday. I would certainly go back.

The property itself was great, clean and comfortable beds and good facilities. The rooms were huge and well equipped with self catering needs. The location of the hotel was quiet and only a walking distance into Playa de las Americas. Would definitely like to stay here again.

Fantastic family resort

Fantastic covid safe stay with a huge 2 storey apartment with a balcony on each floor. We had such a lovely time we extended our stay by 3 days and the hotel gve a great deal and ensured we could keep the same apartment

Nice for a couple together but not for a family.

Nice hotel complex with apartments however not great for sharing for more than 2 people. The extra beds in the open plan living room are very comfortable and a lack of space to use them and store luggage as well. Avoid all inclusive deal as the food is not very good.

An honest opinion.

Not for us. Great for kids, teenagers and families. Not for the middle aged and older. No Porters and we had to climb 62 stairs to get to our room. Room was great. A/C inadequate, might as well not been there. Room No 23. Too many Sunbeds crammed around 2 small pools, far too claustrophobic for us, awful! Food could have been much better. Staff were awesome.

An honest opinion.

Not for us, a middle aged couple, very well travelled. Just too many kids and families for us. Two small pools with Sunbeds crammed around them, awful. Food could have been better but could have been worse. Room was up 62 steps and no Porters!! Not good when you’re nearly 60. Staff were brilliant, couldn’t fault them. No complaints with the room, a junior suite with a downstairs bedroom. Far too busy for us but fabulous for families and teenagers.

Overall nice hotel. Clean, could always get a lounger by the pool. Good choice of food each day, really enjoyed it and would go back. Only negatives, couldn't get a clean pool towel every day and wasn't advised of having to book the shower room on our last day as we had a late checkout.

The hotel is kept clean continuously from the rooms to the public areas. The AI package provided a good variety of food but the AI drinks stop at 23.00 which is bit too early for anyone wishing to stay on the premises for the entire night. Sun loungers were available throughout our stay. The free shuttle service to the mall and Siam Park was a great addition as part of the stay but would be better if there was a later return from the mall and if there was an additional pick up/drop off for Siam Park.

Friendliness of staff, cleanliness, location, hotel design/layout, food, entertainment... everything was wobderful. the split layer accomodation was a massive success for us as the kids (15&11) enjoyed the feeling mum and dad weren't on top of them and mum and dad loved having space from them! Can't recommend this property highly enough. Would definitely visit again without hesitation

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The staff especially pepe at reception couldnt do enough for you. Loved the big rooms on 2 levels. Food was lovely with more than enough to choose from. It was also great that they didnt allow guests to reserve sun loungers before 10am.

For Bed and breakfast basis, food quality was first class.
The local area is a good 30-40 mon walk from central. 6/8 Euro taxi. Something I was aware of before booking, so no issue.

Very good resort- excels in cleanliness, pool facilities and good quality accommodation. Dinner and breakfast offer good variety and spread ( somewhat limited for vegetarians, but chef kindly addressed our needs well)
We will be happy to return again.

The only real downside to be aware of is that once you have used up the hot water for shower for 2 people back to back, it takes a good 20-30 min to get reheated..

Climbing the 60 odd steps to get to the room and back was difficult and the only way to get a room nearer to the pool or restaurant was to pay more.

This is a great family hotel.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome.
The hotel is very clean and the food in the all inclusive is great with a lot of variety.
The selection of drinks on the all inclusive is ok but you need to upgrade to get more than 4 cocktails which werent the best.
The apartment was very clean and spacious but it would have been good to have a double bed.
The only thing we wanted was a better soft play/playground for our baby to play in.

Staff and service was good. We had booked a 1 bedroom family room, but It wasn't mention on the hotel.com website that it was a duplex apartment which with a one year baby wasn't ideal. We stayed in the room one night then had to upgrade to a two bedroom family room which was much better as it was on one floor level. The Hotel charged an additional €68 per night, which was excessive as had we pre-booked on Hotels.com it would only be £20 per night. had we known it was a duplex apartment we would have booked the 2 bedroom apartment at the time of booking.

We didn't realize this was a family resort. There were 100's of kids everywhere! It was a nighmare. Some of the photos of the property were not accurate. The rooms are old with a smell and in my sisters room there was a stain on her couch. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful! However, if you want large dancing apes in the lobby and love being part of day care then this is the right resort for you.

we just returned from a few days in the sun. the hotel is lovely, lots of entertainment during the day as well as evening. staff is very friendly, attentive - a special thanks to Pepe at reception! food is very good, have stayed in other all inclusive hotels before, but the quality and choice we got here was second to none. although we travelled as a couple, we would be happy to return and bring the children along. I am sure they will enjoy it as well.

10/10 Gran Oasis

This is our first visit to the Gran Oasis and we will definitely return. We met one couple and this was their 9th visit. The staff were so friendly, food fab and rooms great. There was plenty of ground space, lots of sunbeams, free towels for the beds. A lovely place for adults only or families. There was also two large pools. Entertainment on the night was great most nights.

Lovely hotel pool area not very big compared to other hotels I have stayed in. To get a sunbed you need to be up early! Food was very good. All inclusive finished at 11 p.m just a bit too early. Towels for the pool area only changed once in a week! Staff very friendly.

Hotel was amazing and hotel staff were brilliant they were very helpful and kept the place pristine! Hotel staff were brilliant and understanding when I was suprised to find out that we were given rooms at the furthest end of the hotel which takes a good ten minutes to walk up hundreds of stairs or very long steep slopes , when booking I specifically asked for a ground floor apartment for oap guest this information was not passed on

Really lovely hotel. We stayed for 7 nights all inclusive and had a great time. We stayed in a duplex apartment overlooking the golf course and with great sea view. The staff were really helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was to a much higher standard than usual all inclusive. Each night was themed eg Canarian, Mexican, Italian etc. With also great choices of other food. Although it is a half hour walk to the beach, there is a free shuttle 3 times a day and a taxi is only about 5 Euros.

Went to Gran Oasis Resort for a four day long weekend to celebrate my best friends 50th! We were greeted with smiles from all the staff and a bottle of champagne in the room as I had e-mailed the hotel to say it was a special occasion! We also had another bottle of champagne with our evening meal and a few of the staff arrived at the table with a cake and sang \"Happy Birthday\" to her!! The resort is kept clean and the room(in our case the apartment) was ideal with everything as expected! We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with absolutely no complaints at all!! Wish we had stayed longer, weather was amazing for end of February! What a way to spend a few days! Thanks to all who made our stay so enjoyable!

Excellent Resort

This is an excellent resort, suitable for families as well as groups of friends. We were on a stag do and wanted something a bit more high end than just a place to stay at the end of a night/morning on Veronica's strip and this proved perfect. We had an apartment to stay in on the ground floor just away from the pool and they have a supermarket on site (perfect for topping up the beers) as well as pool tables, air hockey, table tennis and a great pool to keep entertained in the day. We had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was good food, very well presented. All of the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the only tiny, tiny downside was the two of the beds in our room (room for four people) were fold out beds and they weren't too comfortable but the apartment itself was clean, air conditioned and well decorated. Location wise, you're a 5 Euro taxi ride away from the strip or the beach so it's perfect. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for what we wanted and I'd happily go back!

Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in!

Just got back (may half term 2014). Lovely staff, great English, always available, and happy to help. 20mins taxi from south airport. The pools were brilliant - exactly like the pictures on the website. The apartment was roomy, well stocked, spotless, and a fabulous balcony over looking the golf course. The aircon and shower were excellent. Good wifi. Cheap, friendly, clean place to stay. I do wonder if it can be kept as clean all through the season, as it really was remarkably spotless. Seemed to be particularly popular with families, but fine for others too as long as you don't mind kids being around. It wasn't really in a main resort, which we didn't mind (in fact this was our preference) but I guess this may be a problem for some and nothing going on in the hotel very late. On the otherhand, quiet for sleeping! A 30 min walk down a hill to the main strip, but taxis are cheap and always ready to pick you up in a matter of minutes -the free bus shuttle isn't all that regular. There are a lot of hard surfaces around (everything is tilled) so if you have kids that could be something to consider. Didn't eat the food (self catered), or see the entertainment as we went out to explore the island a lot, so can't comment on that, but the super market was handy on site and larger ones close by. Happy family feel, and a great holiday! (*the hotel didn't ask us to write this review, we found others helpful when booking our holiday so returning the favour!). Happy holidays x

The stay was OK, the hotel is new and the facilities are great. I should specially mention how friendly and nice the staff in the restaurant and swimming pools bar are. The location is far from the beach, and if the bus shuttle to there could work if it'd run more often than just twice per day.The food was alright but not many choices for vegetarians apart from salad, pasta and potatoes cooked in several ways.There was a vegetarian with us and he just hated it, so we had dinner outside. I loved there was fresh orange juice for breakfast though.We were overall satisfied apart from our disappointment with the manager in reception who failed to honor the price that we paid for our stay: we were offered an upgrade to half board for a new price, we accepted and payed for it, and one day after she came back to us saying it was not correct didn't want to stick to that price they offered. They gave us the first night's dinner complimentary due to their error, however if we took the offer of half board (which an additional amount more than we paid for the accommodation) then we would also have to pay for the first nights dinner - which was ludicrous! I'm not even sure that is legal, but we didn't want to argue because we wanted to have a nice stay.

Good for what it is

We rrrived here as two guys touring around Teneriffe on motorcycles without a prior hotel booking so this family-orientated mass-toursim set-up wasn't really for us. The 'troughing' meal/boozing times [mainly for those on an all-in package] were best avoided although the one time we did try it the food was good and the wine all too quaffable. It is also some way from the restaurant hubs and the sea but perhaps that wasn't a problem for those who never ventured out of the site. Internet usage was free but didn't work in our particular accommodation [which was actually substantial and clean]. Helpfully we were allowed to put our m'bikes in the secure underground care-park. Unhelpfully we were charged extra for this facility.

Friendly staff and great location

My partner and I stayed at the Gran Oasis for a week and we was impressed with the cleanliness of the resort. We chose to stay at this resort after reading countless positive reviews. I felt that the resort easily lived up to expectations.

We received a warm welcome from the reception staff, in particular a lovely night guard who escorted us to our room. When checking-in, reception gave us leaflets informing us of hotel activities, local activities, and additional services. This made our holiday smooth and relaxing as this was our first trip to Tenerife.

Our hotel room was a surprise as it was large and spacious. It was a one bedroom apartment set on two levels, with a balcony on each. However our room deal did not include aircon which was an initial disappointment but there was a ceiling fan which did an efficient job in keeping the room cool.

The food provided was very good, each day they changed the theme of the meals which gave variety to dinner time.

The place is nice and clean and well equipped, no complaints but the food was fantastic everyday great salad freshly cooked meats and a good selection. This applied for breakfast lunch and dinner.

We were a group of 4 males from 28-39 yrs and were holidaying to hit the clubs and relax. This hotel was great for that as it's a quiet family/couple place but only a €6 taco ride to Veronica's strip.

Great hotel in quiet setting.

Lovely canarian style buildings in lovely gardens. Freeform nice pools. Very spacious, clean, well decorated apartments with large balconies. Loved own lounger on this and patio doors from bedroom and living room onto this. Comfortable bed and ceiling fans kept apartment cool.No noise after 11pm so great for young families. Only downfall is distance from Las Americas, cost between 4.5-6.5 euros for taxi each evening, never paid same price twice!!. So long as you factor this extra cost in great place to stay.

We are a family of 5 & have just had a lovely vacation in the Gran Oasis Resort. The hotel is lovely although communal areas a little smaller than anticipated ie. pools, entertainment area, restaurant but adequate none the less! We found all the hotel staff very helpful & polite & evening entertainment was quite good. Food was buffet style and of good quality & we never had any bother finding something for all the family to eat! The pool area is clean but one big complaint about selfish people out 7am in the morning to retrieve sunloungers from the stalked LOCKED sunloungers & reserve them with towels in the positions immediately in front of pool!!!! The hotel is predominantly British holiday makers. We were disappionted in the small play area for younger children & found the gaming room outdated & in need of repair ie pool tables not working, air hockey table terrible etc. Mini disco a big hit with my 2 young girls, hotel staff better at this than Thomas cook girls!! On the whole we had an enjoyable stay....we were aware of the number of steps in the complex before booking & requested room near the pool area & this was fulfilled by hotel. Would recommend hotel & commend the staff for their couteous & professional manner.

The hotel was nice looking, clean and the service was really friendly. The hotel is on a hill far away from the village and beach.
The pools were very gorgiuos looking but the water in the pools was very, very COLD.
This hotel is excellent to families who find All Inclusive -stay-in-the-hotel-area as a good way to spend a holiday. To us others All Inclusive -system made living a bit difficult.

Good hotel however has some problems

This is in Basic a very good and nice resort to spend your vacation. There is great enviroment in the hotel. However we had some problems. First of all it is a family resort so lots of kids and a lot of mess around the pool. So i would not recommend it for couples who are looking for a quite vacations. Second, our room was located at the edge of the hotel so it was very noisy at the early morning hours. And the bathroom in the hotel kept flooded.
The food was good and there was variety. However vegiterians dont have much to eat there.

Just come back from 10 days at Gran Oasis. Very nice, clean appartments, very family friendlly...lots of kids.
Evening entertainment every night - if you like that kind of thing. Personally it was a bit much and went on until 11.30 every night.
The place is in the middle of nowhere so be prepared to get a cab (ranging from €5-€8 per trip into town) you can walk but its a good 20mins.
Ants are a probelm! Do not leave any food out in the appartments as it will be swarming with ants.
Dont think we would go back but would give it 4 out of 5.

2 adults 3 children. Excellent hotel, quiet but all facilities so perfect for children. Long distance from centre of resort, so car is necessary, parking at hotel. Loved this place.

Hieno ja siisti hotelli. Kaksikerroksinen huoneisto ilmastoinnilla oli todella kiva. Vuodevaatteet hyvät.
Aamiainen, lounas ja päivällinen todella hyvä ja monipuolinen, juomat sisältyvät hintaan, joka oli plussaa.
Lapsille monta uima-allasta.

Ainoa miinus on sijainti, koska kaukana rannasta ja palveluista. Mercadona löytyy onneksi 1 km kävelymatkan päästä.

Die Anlage, die Zimmer und der Pool sind schön und gepflegt. Das einzige Problem ist jeweils das Frühstücksbuffet welches nicht allzu gut unterhalten war. Viele Produkte waren schnell nicht mehr verfügbar oder nicht nachgefüllt. In diesem Bereich besteht Verbesserung.

Bra boende för familj då vi hade en lgh med 2 våningar. Bra sängar och sköna kuddar.

Köket va ingen höjdare.
Det fanns inte heller så mycket sittmöbler inne.

Frukosten inget att ha. Skralt med utbud.
