The room was great, loved the beach chic decor & very clean. Staff were very welcoming & amenities very good. My only complaint is having to pay extra per day for use of the safe. Hotel safes are standard for this grade of hotel. To pay extra per day to use it in the room is like being charged to use the hairdryer - it's just a negative angst against an otherwise great hotel experience.

We had a really warm welcome, surprise champagne when they realised we were celebrating a birthday and the chance to freshen up in a room after check out and before our flight. It felt like they were going out of the way to make your trip comfortable and special. I'd recommend!

All about the breakfast…..

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. The air conditioning wasn’t great, struggled to lower the temperature from 28c to 25c despite being on all night. I was moved from a lower room overlooking the carpark to one higher up. Sea view is extra.

Some good points friendly and good beach front position. They was working on construction around the pool which disturbed the ambience. Queing up till 0930 for sunbeds felt like I was going back to the 90s. Check in and check out was good. Breakfast good for price point.

If you’re a senior citizen from the UK it’s perfect for you. However if you’re looking for a fresher younger vibe I’d look at the H10 in Playa del Duque. The staff here were great but being the only two under 60 is a bit of a weird feeling

H10 was a lovely hotel, very clean, lovely staff and very relaxed ambiance.
Our initial issue with our room was very quickly and efficiently dealt with, no fuss or drama, just moved to another upgraded room without question, very reassuring.

Los Christianos is a lovely quiet haven, filled to the brim with quality bars and restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel.
A nice peaceful relaxing break was just what was needed and H10 hotel did not disappoint.

Hotel was great but one set back is they no longer allow electric scooters to be charged premises. This was not displayed at reception and cost me 199 euros as I had to return scooter and money paid was not refunded. Other than this it was a very enjoyable holiday

Beautiful hotel will be going back.The rooms were lovely and all the food and cocktails at the bar and entertainment were brilliant.Great location as the hotel is near everything.very friendly staff.only thing i can mark it down on is the aircon very hot bedrooms and the dining room at breakfast time was so hot apart from that it was wonderful

Breakfast is ok if you don’t mind same thing everyday. Dinner was included in our stay but after 1st evening we didn’t go back it was awful. We upgraded our room so we had sun-beds & a balcony facing the sea which was a beautiful view but rooms are in desperate need of renovations old & tired bedding & towels also need to be renewed. Staff are all really lovely & helpful if the hotel had a revamp & bedding & towels were renewed it would be a lovely hotel it’s definitely not a 4 star it’s 3 at a push.

An older by modernised hotel with amazing views of Los Cristianos Harbour. Right by the beach and several bars and restaurants. Very nice buffet with freshly cooked meats and stir fries as well as the usual salads etc. Staff very helpful. Not a very large pool area, but a nice pool. Air conditioning was not very good and we had to have the balcony door open to let air in. There was quite a loud noise from outside the room door which was probably the lift. We only booked for one night last minute as our flight was cancelled, but we enjoyed our stay.

H10 Big Sur is an adult only hotel, situated on the sea front at the quiter end of Los Cristianos . Everything about the hotel is to a high standard. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them to help you. Good variety of foods at meal times, some buffet and others fresh cooked.
Has a swimming pool with ample sunbeds, evening entertainment and the back of the hotel leads out to the promanade which is mainly flat. Would recommend booking a seaview room as the mountain view overlooks the road. Enjoyable to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the ferrys coming in and out of the port opposite

Hotel was really nice. Staff were amazing. Lot of older people in the hotel which was fine.
Couple of the parts of the hotel could do with some TLC such as handles and paintwork around communal areas and toilets where there was dirt from use and marks.
Breakfast was decent. We disnt eat in the restaurant at night as we wanted to go out and try other places

We went for \"nice\" not \"price\" when we booked, and we certainly got nice. I was surprised at check in as had booked breakfast buffet only with the room, but was told it was full board. We didn't eat every meal at the hotel. as we like exploring places to eat. The room was great, spaciously with an excellent sea view. The only very slight criticism we would have is the food at the breakfast buffet was not very hot. But we had a great stay and would not hesitate in staying there again

Not very clean and I only stayed one night but was disturbed 3 times, once by someone delivering chocolates, once by someone checking the mini bar and once by a cleaner banging on the door when my room wasn’t due to be cleaned. I didn’t therefore feel I had very much privacy for a one night stay. Also the shelves in the bathroom were dusty, the drains stank and there were other peoples hairs still in the shower.

This hotel has a very nice aesthetic and is located right off of the boardwalk. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the hotel, but the pool area is really nice as well. We had a really wonderful time and all in all almost the entire staff was phenomenal. That being said, we did have one really negative interaction with a wait staff for dinner.
A waiter at dinner service was very rude to my wife and I in front of the entire dining area. He made a rude comment about us seating our selves when it was a seat yourself area and we had been directed to do so by the reception. Then he initially refused to serve us because we did not have our room wristband despite having checked in with the dining reception and verifying we were guests. He told me to leave to retrieve it so that I could order water, then he walked away from the table. I tried talking with him and asking to charge to our room and we can gladly verify our identities, which is exactly what we did for lunch earlier in the day.(we had to because our wristband hadn't worked earlier and the lunch waiter commented that this happened on occasion because of wifi and tech issues). He said it was not possible and that I needed to leave and come back. I went up front and told them about the issue, and they told me I didn't need my wristband and they would take care of it. He brought our water and put a receipt on our table and didn't talk to us the rest of dinner.
Every other staff member went above and beyond in all ways

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you are treated as a valued customer.
The décor and feel of the whole place helps to make your stay very relaxing. The sea view side of the building is lovely and you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the balcony watching the ferries come in and out of the port
The restaurant offers a variety of food and served buffet style. All very delicious and the puddings are very tempting. In the evening there is live entertainment in the bar area.
There are two sunbathing areas - by the pool and also on the top floor.
Leaving the grounds by the back gate you are on the promenade and apart from one slight incline is relatively flat and you can walk into Los Americas within 25 - 30 mins from there as well as the town centre
Watch out for the hotel cat, he is a real poser!!

From the moment we entered the hotel and throughout the stay we were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff
The room was very clean and comfortable, the pool area had enough sunbeds available for the time we were staying.
The restaurant food was excellent with a buffet style variety of foods and catered for different tastes. Had to check out the desert counter!! There wasn't one meal that we didn't like.
The hotel was walkable to the town centre where there were also many places to eat and drink, also walkable to Los Americanos.
The hotel cat certainly made himself at home and wasn't phased with the coming and goings, he blended in with the lobby area

If you’re deaf it’s great!

The hotel was fine, bed comfortable and rooms are nice. However, I had to move room three times. Mainly due to the awful loud entertainment of the hotel opposite the rear of the hotel. It goes on until at least 11pm so if you don’t want to go to sleep before then you’ll be ok. There’s no way you can sleep as it’s really loud. Other guests also ruined my trip by letting their room doors slam all hours of the day and night (even 03:50!). Just a real lack of consideration for others. The staff are all nice, especially the restaurant staff. All reception were also lovely with exception of one man who I think was the manager. He was rude on the phone after I left a TA review mentioning my lack of sleep.

The hotel was great the staff where excellent the only problem was there was not enough of them cut backs after covid we think.
Would go back again the location was great the room was fine except a phone in the room no directory couldn't even call reception there was a emergency phone in the lift same thing nothing even written on them.
The pool bar couldn't open till the restaurant closed due to staff shortage so couldn't get a coffee in the morning and miss breakfast was not allowed to take a coffee out of the restaurant to sit out side this hotel needs looking at reception was busy in the after again only one member of staff on the desk.

Don’t fall for the nice photos

The hotel looks great - from afar.
The breakfast and dinner are great. Pool is great, too.

However, our bedsheets had holes in them. Cleaning of rooms is non-existent. Bathroom walls, mirrors and shower were never cleaned. Our toilet and bidet had brown water stains that look like had been there forever. Disgusting. They never vacuumed our floor or cleaned surfaces.

Also, they said there was complimentary water, and this was never replaced - except for the very last day.

Great hotel with lovely staff, some really nice touches such as a trainer doing aqua biking in the pool to help work off the amazing breakfast and extra cushions for the sun beds. Only improvement would be a bigger fridge in the room and tea making facilities as there was only a coffee machine in the room. Not a big issue though as I had brought a travel kettle

Convenient for the airport. Large coaches can’t access the main door of the hotel so one negotiates the steep slope.Great location by the promenade, with a rear gate accessed by room key. The best rooms face the sea. We were over the front door and got noise from the local road, delivery vans, taxis etc. There were also on-going building works. Much of this report is tainted by the fact we had a bad room. The shower leaked badly; we also had a desk where the front drawer kept releasing itself. Maintenance were informed and did visit. The aircon was broken for 4/8days; we got a very rude, discourteous response from a mature receptionist. After my husband told him he was being rude to us, he improved his tone a little. The hotel had a chance on the last day as we checked out to make amends e.g. offer some H10 points or a small deduction. NO gesture was made, nor any senior person called, so we have decided not to use the hotel again.
Our room had a safe [small charge] and we requested extra hangars that appeared very quickly. The double bed was small. 2 bottles of water are provided each day and Nespresso capsules. Maid service was excellent. A dressing gown and slippers are provided. Upstairs on the 8th floor are 2 chill out areas for sun-bathing. The buffet at breakfast and in the evening was excellent. In November the clientele in the hotel is very mature and it did get a bit awkward with many guests using walking sticks. The flower vases on the tables needed refreshed.

We had 1 night here between flying in and catching the 9am ferry next morning to La Gomera. I had requested a quiet room at the time of booking. We went to bed at 9pm as we were tired and needed to be up early the following morning. Unfortunately, the noise from the disco/DJ in the pool area was very loud and didn’t stop until just before 11pm. We did contact reception and were told the music would go on until 10:45. We eventually got to sleep just after 11pm but were woken up again around 3am with shouting in the corridor outside our room and loud banging of doors. Needless to say, we had a very bad night and won’t be repeating our stay at this hotel any time soon

Lovely hotel on the sea front. The room was a good size, very comfortable, with very good facilities and excellent air con. The half board breakfast and evening buffet was very good for the price paid. Hotel also has a good sun deck on floor 8.
The only downsides are the pool is a little on the small side, the lifts can be quite slow and was sometimes quicker to walk 7 floors. Also a pity the hotel doesn't offer the use of an iron, instead of you having to pay to get your clothes ironed.
The hotel also has a stupid dress code rule for men to wear long trousers for breakfast, lunch and evening meal although after the first night you soon realise that most people ignore the rule and wore smart shorts.

I booked the hotel at the last minute, since the ferry to La Gomera was canceled that evening. It's only 10 minutes from the port which was excellent for the next morning.
The receptionist did everything he could to help me, found me a nice room, booked me dinner with their new a la carte service which offered a free bottle of wine.
The room was small but nice. I had a small twin bed, but it was OK for 1 night.
The espresso machine in the room is really great.
Didn't have much time to explore the hotel, but it was a nice stay for last minute night.

The h10 big Sur is a lovely hotel which my husband and I have visited 3 times. The staff are fantastic, However this time I was disappointed as the air con wasn't working and the hotel had renovations being done and at times was noisy. Also their was major works on the walk way outside and in the pool entrance which was very noisy for most of the day.

Good location, not the best hotel

The area was great! We were right next to the beach and loads of restaurants, and it was easy to go to our kayaking reservation, as well as the monkey park nearby.
However, our air conditioning didn't work. From what I can gather this was a hotel-wide problem. The service was great - they sent a fan up for us as soon as we asked about it - but even then, the fan only circulated the hot air really.
The breakfast buffet was also sub-par. Although there was a large selection, it was not the best quality. The pastries were fairly nice, as were the pancakes, but everything else was a bit questionable.
The actual hotel had a nice atmosphere and a nice little pool, and the staff were fairly friendly. It just suffered from being a bit dated. There also weren't many young people - it's not exactly the most modern area, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're in Tenerife for the nightlife!
If you're there for a weekend like we were, then it's quite a nice stay, but my friend couldn't sleep at all on the last night because it was so hot without air con.

I can't recommend this hotel enough . We paid in advance for a sea view which was well worth the extra . The chill out zones on the 8th floor are very relaxing . There is a huge choice at the breakfast buffet . We also ate in the Blue Bay restaurant where the food was lovely and very reasonable . There is also the added bonus of entertainment in the evenings . This is my first time in a H10 hotel but I will definitely look out for them in the future if they are as good as this one.

Lovely place!

The staff was very service-minded and thoughtful. We really enjoyed the high quality of everything they had to offer. Even when leaving early they offered us some of their delicious breakfast.
They made the end of a long trip something special.

I do not have any complaint about this place. I would love to go back to this place when I have a chance to go to Los Cristianos again.
This isn't a luxury hotel, but this had everything. Nice view, great amenities, two bottles of water and a scone and nice staffs. Best part was the breakfast buffet. I have been traveling a lot recently, and the breakfast here was so far the best.
Overall, I was very satisfied and would like to recommend this place to anyone.

Girls Holiday

My friend and I came here for a break in the sunshine and were delighted with the hotel. It was lovely decor and the pool and rooftop areas were great. We received a warm welcome at check in and the reception staff were helpful throughout. The only reason we have scored the location down slightly is the building work that is going on outside the hotel but it didn't bother us too much and we couldn't hear anything from our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel with great staff

This hotel is amazing. The staff were so helpful and friendly - they made our holiday and even remembered my name a day into my stay! The food was amazing. I loved our room - were were upgraded to a superior room on check in. I loved the pool, the bar and the chill out area. I will be back, thank you so much!

Room cleaning service was not very good as showe wasnt cleaned coffee capsules was delivered every day, had to adk for towels and ect. Food was very basic and repetitive and not much choice.

You Get What You Pay For .

Its a lovley Hotel in Great position on the sea front ,and l found everyone to be friendly from the maids bar staff dining room staff ect , its a little bit expensive to stay there , but you get what you pay for as they say , l have booked a return visit .

Overall standard of the hotel was very good with a lot of the basics (free WiFi, room safe, etc. Included in the price) a great location, lovely hotel and really excellent staff.
