Fantastic check-in. Arrived 915 am and got into our room which was very unexpected but fantastic. Room good. Spacious for one room but only 1 pillow each on bed. Asked immediately for 2 more. Got them after a couple of reminders.Bathroom small but enough. Good shower head. TV only small, could be a bit bigger. Staff very helpful. Went for tennis and there was a nig screen at reception and lounge area. Pool looks much smaller than photo. Gym small but has all equipment. Not a lot of food options close. A few cafes. Close toTram so St Kilda close by and 30 mins into city. Room close to busy Queens road. Noisy when in room. Too far out from city for me but if u are happy to tram it its fine. Restaurant expensive. Lots of people getting Uber eats delivered. Staff lovely, engaging, helpful.

We had terribly noisy neighbours I had to call front desk no joy asked to speak manager she said she would sort it, never heard back loud running screaming banging continued till 11pm, woke up early noise started we went out got back late still noisy went to call again and it ceased, Got stuck in the car park each time couldn’t get out, stuck for 20mins no one at hotel answering had to leave car and go back into hotel as no one picking up at front desk, room not made up on one of the days, rooms ok but bathroom old and shabby bathtub had chips out of it and not very clean, lack of staff when you needed anything no service in a service based industry, Olivia was great she was our server in the restaurant, I won’t stay here again.

Room was poor quality with outdated bathroom that didn’t match the pictures on the advertisement. The bed was two mattresses pushed together rather than a true king size bed.
The pool was out of order on a 40 degree day and the aircon stopped working for several hours and took 2 hours for someone to come and fix it from the time of reporting it.
In summary I’m not sure the stay could have been any worse!

On arrival the reception staff ( Angelique) was absolutely lovely & welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean with staff reaching out regularly for anything we may require. The aesthetics at reception were first class & particularly the Christmas decorations were elegant & glam. Would definitely stay again.

The room was bare and didn't match the photo's presented when booking - had to ask for pillows, towels and glassware. There were no staff available to pick up the phone and when we finally got the towels, they were hand towels. The hot breakfast was cold. For the priced paid, it was extremely underwhelming.

The property is ageing and the rooms are very plain for what they are charging. Only two pillows in the room, had to wait 25 minutes to get extra pillows, (which arrived after midnight). Bathroom has an old style bath/shower. Limited ammenities and the decor/layout was weird. Room wasn’t serviced on our second night we were there, even though we were out for most of the day.

Location was handy and the breakfast buffet was ok. Should be half the price of the Pullman. Wouldn’t stay there again.

We booked the accommodation because of the proximity to the Around the Bay cycling event village which was only 2 kilometres away. Many other cyclists were staying at the Mecure for the same reason

First time staying at Mercure. This hotel I found out was rather old & you can tell. Lobby needs colour, it is rather boring. Carpets in hallways need cleaning. Bathrooms need reno, mould in grout and no need for tiny baths with shower in them. Extra pillows needed requesting, 2 pillows on a King size bed - no.
A lot of hotels inc this one need to make their rooms like your on holiday. More inviting. Boring is what they are.
Windows restaurant was amazing & staff.
I asked on booking for a lake view, first room did not. I then asked for this as a 6 day stay and they come through, but I should not have to do this as was a Special Requirement.
Room service needs to be done by 2pm, as my room missed a couple of services.
I am picky when comes to clean & inviting but was a nice place to stay for visit.

Laborious check-in process that left me waiting at reception for a full 3 minutes while the woman tapped her keyboard. Just another example of corporates putting cost back onto the consumer. Old school shower faucets – hot tap needed 12 full turns, the cold one about 4 turns. Eventually got the right temperature then randomly it’d go lukewarm then back to hot then … random. Got given a disability room so the bathroom was almost as big as the main area. No powerpoints near bed to charge stuff etc. Air conditioning was either hot or cold or somewhere inbetween. Pretty sure it was designed in the 1800s. Even on cold it blew warm so had to have a window fully open the whole 3 days ffs. Was promised lake facing but got the opposite but was at end of 4 week trip so had no fight left in me.

The staff were particularly lovely. We arrived much earlier before check in and asked to store our bags. The staff were more than happy to do so but also allowed us to check in as soon as our room was ready which was hours ahead of our check in time. Upon checkout, the gentleman was lovely and had a smile on his face(even though he was dealing with a difficult customer before us). Very comfortable beds too, I could have slept all day.

Emergency evacuation at around 9pm. No explanation or staff to show guests to fire escape or upon return to the building. Then next morning no hot water and we had an early departure. Offered us a breakfast when they knew we had to be out early for a previous appointment. Will not stay again.

The room was very small and dismal and we were placed next to the lift, so at times it was a bit noisy too. The bathroom also wasn’t the cleanest we have been in. On a good note, the bed was very comfortable.

I was transferred to this hotel as the one I booked has closed down. Note that Pullman and Mercure are in 2 separate towers. The Mercure lobby is not as nice but they share facilities.
The rooms are as expected, minimalist but the beds are very comfy and the staff are very nice and helpful. The bar and lobby area is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back

Challenging stay, noisy maintenance works making the room noisy starting from 7am (no sleep in possible). When we phoned down to reception and they said they didn’t know of any works … however there we jackhammers going in the car park, things blocked off. The noise was audible in the windows cafe, we ended up having to move locations to work during the day.

Called multiple times to get our swimwear after checkout (same day) and no reply, no calls back.

I had such a terrible experience staying in this hotel.

1. My dad forgot the password to open the safe and we kept all our passports there. It was 2 days before we got back to our country so we were kinda panic and as the staff to help us open it.The receptionist said there would be someone sent to our room to help us that day and my dad asked for the specific time, but she just said \"I don't know, but today\". We were not satisfied with her answer but we could not do anything so we just went our the whole day, hoping that when we returned, it would have been unlocked.

BUT NO. It remained untouched. The next day, my dad had to express his dissatisfaction and finally, they sent someone to our room. It only took them about a minute to open the safe, so why didn't they do it the day before as they promised us?

2. We paid them 250 AUD for the security deposit and spent 169 AUD for breakfast so in return, they had to give us 81 AUD back. They promised it would take 3-5 working days for the process but we wait for nearly 2 weeks. Nothing was returned. Now, it has been 8 working days and we haven't seen our money back yet.

I rarely leave a bad review for any kind of hospitality service, but my experience at this hotel was truly disappointing. Overall, this stay was frustrating and far below the standard I expected. Poor communication, slow action, and unfulfilled promises left us with a very negative impression. I strongly don't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

A massive shout out Chinese Boy Jack at Breakfast & El Salvadorian Sister in The Breakfast area. As well as Kiwi at Breakfast. Lastly great customer Service from Tall Handsome Asian Guy named Richard at Concierge who helped me open the boom gates so that my car can go in & out. Absolutely enjoyed the Buffeet Breakfast. Missed out on swimming in the pool.

Had a good and easy stay overall. The food and drink services were of good quality, and the gym, spa, and plunge pool were definite highlights. Parking was convenient, though it comes at a cost of $25 per day. The only downside was the view — a bit underwhelming compared to expectations.

Good value for a quick overnighter. The pool was a great temperature and we enjoyed the spa and sauna too. Breakfast was good and staff were responsive when we needed something.
The menu online (accessed from the QR code in the room) for the bar was different to the menu provided. I enjoyed the cocktail from Mortimers too.

This property is showing its age. Just a little care and attention, particularly in public spaces and corridors would present the property much more favourably. During our recent stay packaging was left dumped on the floor at the end of the corridor for three days, room service items were not promptly removed and left the property looking shabby.
The room was excellent and housekeeping did a very good job of servicing our room. However, the aging plumbing left us (and probably those in neighboring rooms) deafened every time we had a shower!
We also found it unhelpful that shift changeover occurred right when a significant number of prebooked guests were arriving to check in. The queue was very long and some waited up to three hours to get access to rooms. The staff blamed attendees at an onsite conference not clearing their rooms by check out time.....This is a management problem not a problem for guests arriving after extended travel.....Management, lift your game.
And finally, I've used this hotel now once a year over the past 6 or 7 years and the coffee machines have never managed to work properly in the breakfast restaurant. Don't you think it's time to throw them out? They are to complicated and unreliable..... Guests pay for decent coffee when they pay for their breakfast.

We checked if we had to book parking over the phone, got told no need, ask for price, got told free for hotel guests. After making our booking, the next day we rec6an email, saying parking was $25 per night, so I phoned the hotel again, yes that is correct, so whenI said I called the other day and was told it was free, apparently they have new staff and I was given incorrect information. Then I prebooked in to save time lining up to book in, only to be told once we arrived and waited 15 minutes to get served, that this hotel does not accept prebookings, seriously why waste my time, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and Pullman is off my list of places I will stay in the future, horrible customer service all round.

It was a nice stay, quick check in, easy check out, good facilities in stay, responsive staff to request for assistance getting more pillows, and having an item printed. The staff overall were lovely. Damir at Reception was particularly friendly and helpful.
It was annoying to have an evacuation at midnight on my first night there, but very unprofessional of the hotel that there were no staff visible at all during the evacuation.
So saying, I will return if needs be.
