Amazing pool! This is the social hub and central feature of this hotel. Accross the street at the VIA train station you will find lots of quick eats to grab. Better restaurants can be found just to the east. I love staying here!

We loved our stay at Hotel Bonaventure with my kids during March break. The clerk at reception said he would put us in a room with great city view overlooking trains and the lights of the city. My boys LOVED that! Everything was absolutely perfect, staff are very friendly and courteous. My only complaint was that the sauna was not working - was looking forward to that!

Friendly staff, great location and nice amenities like cappuccino machines in the lobby and plush robes. The property is a bit dated with a cracked window in one hallway and ripped carpet in another. The outdoor pool was nicely heated and clean but overrun with kids on Saturday and Sunday with lots of towels left all over the place. Sauna was closed and kids were jumping in and out of the hot tub so not a great couples experience…. would recommend for families or perhaps midweek for couples

Séjour d’une nuit agréable dans l’ensemble. L’hôtel est très beau et l’ambiance générale est vraiment bien. La piscine est particulièrement agréable et bien chaude, surtout près des jets 😄.

Par contre, il y avait quelques détails de propreté à améliorer dans la chambre : des miettes de biscuits sur le sofa, des cheveux sur les bouteilles de savon dans la douche et beaucoup de calcaire dans la douche, ce qui donne une impression que le nettoyage n’était pas complètement terminé.

Sinon, le restaurant Kube de l’hôtel était excellent. Le mac and cheese au bacon était vraiment wow.

En résumé, un bel endroit avec de belles installations, mais un peu plus d’attention à la propreté des chambres ferait une grande différence.

We were disappointed with our stay. Two main points were that our toilet was not working properly and we had to get someone to come fix it. We told the front desk at 9 am and it still was fixed at 5 pm. Two days later we had the same issue and the person who plunged the toilet left dirty water all over the bathroom floor (we had a toddler with us). Additionally, we saw one of the servers use his hands to take a piece of bacon out of the tray at the breakfast buffet and eat it.

The hotel was ok but using valet parking very concerning as there was a loshall tracking device when I left the hotel that my cell picked up. It tracked me all the way home until I could get help to find it which we located under the hood. Very concerning

We have been to this hotel many times. We manly go for the heated pool and hot tub. It was way too cold, it is normal very comfortable, not this time..very disappointed.

Stayed for 4 nights and have no major complaints. The hotel was very busy due to hosting conventions, but the staff were still very responsive and available. Our room was always cleaned thoroughly and on time. The pool was great and the kids used it every day. We paid extra for the breakfast and while it wasn’t mind blowing it was quite good and convenient, and worth the cost. The weekday breakfast worker, Guy, was such a friendly and memorable character, and was full of helpful advice for newcomers to the city.

The hotel itself was conveniently located and we made a lot of use of the connected Bonaventure subway station.

Overall it was a great stay and I’d definitely go back. And if I had to make any suggestion at all, it felt like there needed to be more hooks to hang jackets or clothing, especially in the bathroom. It’s a minor issue but I just figured I’d mention it somewhere.

Loved the pool! Breakfast staff was very friendly. Game room for little kids was so convenient and fun for them, but the game equipment and balls needs some refurbishing. Also good to be connected to the underground, metro, malls, train station, place bonaventure, REM, etc.
Very enjoyable stay.

The hotel was very busy but the room was very quiet and clean. I was in town for a conference and the hotel was a a nice 20 minutes away on foot.

I took the train to Montreal and the hotel is across the street from Central Station. The hotel is connected underground to the Metro (subway) and the underground city.

We booked this hotel during my kids March break because of the heated pool. The steam room however is out of service during our stays. I enjoyed the hot tub. The ventilation in the room needs to be cleaned, as it’s full of dust. There was no microwave in the room, but there is mini fridge, there’s a kettle which I like because I drink tea, but there’s also a coffee maker. Overall my kids and I enjoyed our two night stays.

Front desk staff (Walter in particular) extremely helpful and provided the best service I've experienced in a long time.
The water in the \"heated\" pool could stand to be a little warmer.
The restaurant staff was sub-par. For instance, one morning I arrived at the same time as 3 other groups. We were sat in the same area - the host/server that sat us made rounds with his coffee jug, looked at me, but didn't offer me any coffee. When he returned to the area I flagged him down for some coffee and he told me he would go and get my server! WHAT? That in my opinion, was terrible service!

Très belle hôtel. Les employés sont très accueillant. L’emplacement est excellente car tout est proche donc aucune dépense de taxi. Notre chambre donnait la vue sur l’étang avec plusieurs beaux canards qui se baladaient en toute sécurité 👍 je recommande fortement cette hôtel. Merci 🙏

Everything was fine except that two of my kids and I all have mysterious sores on the bottom of our feet. Almost like a splinter but can’t find anything to pull out. I’m assuming it’s the pool somehow. I would have chalked it up to coincidence if there weren’t so many of us with similar odd minor foot injuries. I can’t help but notice that you all let people drink out there. Might there be small chards of glass in the pool? I’d recommend not allowing the drinking out there.

Honestly, it was not worth what I paid $300 a night almost. I walked in and the toilet had like blood or poop stains on it and it took hours for them to get housekeeping or even respond to me. Finally, they were able to move me, but nobody came and helped me. I just had to get everything done myself. There was a guest parties happening. Everyone drinking in the hot tub and the pool, and being really rowdy and then woken up at 2 AM with people yelling in the hallways as well again doesn’t seem right if you’re paying so much money to have a good nights rest and sleep Breakfast is mediocre not much to ride home but the bagels didn’t feel fresh.

Were given card keys to a room already occupied by other guests. Very uncomfortable feeling. Zero privacy for that occupied room!

Three robes, face and hand towels instead of four in our assigned room.

Shower door handle stained and dirty. Toilet seat dirty.

Not what I expected from a ‘superior’ room for which I paid for.

Really nice hotel, the pool is awesome. However, the soundproofing is terrible, and there were people partying in the hallway until 3 am. It’s a real party hotel on the weekends so beware of that.
