**Terrible hotel experience.** The only thing this hotel has going for it is its location, as it's close to major attractions.

There was **no parking**, which wasn't made clear before booking. Expedia advertised a room with a **microwave**, and I paid extra for it, only to be told at check-in that **none of the rooms have microwaves**.

The room itself was poorly maintained. The door wouldn't close properly unless I lifted it because of a bad hinge, it was small and poorly lit, and there was an unfinished opening in the wall that had simply been left exposed.

Overall, the hotel felt neglected and run-down. The location wasn't enough to make up for the poor maintenance and misleading room description. I honestly can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel this bad—it was probably in France, which is a funny coincidence.

The location is great, close enough to all of the things we wanted to walk or uber to. The beds are comfy and clean. We eeew never able to get our internet to work for streaming, but that’s not a big deal. The shampoo felt like literal water and did not lather in the slightest. When attempting to use the conditioner, I knocked the bottle applicator off the wall and noticed it was actually empty. Since we stayed a total of three nights, I assumed that would at minimum be refilled or fixed, to no avail, the elevators were miserable. We waited some 20 min outside of the fourth floor and kept hearing the elevator sing as pass right by. A maintenance man finally took us to the utility service elevator. Thankyou! Also the ice machine on the 4th floor did not work—again I was there three nights and it remained broken the entire time. They held our luggage which was a really nice perk so we could enjoy the city without lugging our bags

nice place overall Cora's for Breakfast and the best Taco place in Montreal 2 doors down. only gotcha no onsite parking but a lot 100M away. Room AC loud but they all are so expected.

The room swelled very strong of bleach. Someone got stuck in the elevator. The room was noisy with a humming sound. No parking on site, have to walk about a block. Not great at night. Lots of strip clubs around and a “VIP massage” a few feet down. Overall, pretty disappointed.

Location accessibility and convenience to surrounding areas were the main point of our trip. This hotel hit on all of that.
Rooms were small and bathrooms even smaller. My son and I are tall and we had to use toilet either sideways or with our legs and feet in the shower.
Staff was friendly, hotel pretty clean.

The hotel is in the city center. It’s close to many restaurants and shopping centers. The building has been renovated. The staff are nice. But the building is not well maintained. I got two baby cockroaches, a small spider and an ant in my room. I informed the front desk and asked them for bug killer. They said that they will send the maintenance guys to check, but I am afraid they didn’t because I kept seeing different bugs. They have a restaurant in the property for breakfast. But the restaurant is so slow that you will miss your work if you have limited time for breakfast. The elevator broke twice during my stay. In one incident I was in the elevator with two other people. My experience was not so good with this hotel.

The location and the staff were great. But we stayed on level six and all we heard all night was the creaky loud elevator which made it impossible to sleep. There was also mold in the bathroom. There was also an incredibly loud fan outside that was really loud as well. Maybe if you don’t get a room near the top level or the elevator it would be great.

L’accueil est propre et sent bon. Les chambres sont lavées rapidement: chaussettes sous le divan, poussières par endroits, etc. Plusieurs serviettes disponibles dans la salle de bain. Nous avions 2 lits et un divan-lit, mais aucun drap pour le divan-lit. Le personnel a été très serviable et nous en a apportés immédiatement.
La personne ayant dormi dans le divan-lit a eu des piqûres. Après inspection du matelas, nous avons trouvé quelques insectes morts, des miettes de nourritures, des tâches et une punaise de lit vivante. Le personnel a répondu rapidement et a envoyé 3 personnes pour venir vérifier. Nous avons été remboursés. Par contre, le risque d’en rapporter à la maison reste. Le personnel nous a proposé de faire sécher nos effets personnels. Les lits sont propres, mais le divan-lit ne semble pas avoir été nettoyé depuis plusieurs années. Le personnel a été très réactif !

The staff were very classy and always smiling. The service was excellent. Excellent location. Very peaceful environment and super clean. The bedding was spectacular and clean and new bedding. AC was very helpful in cooling you down from the humidity. Front desk is very knowledgeable.

Rooms were spotless and supply hand-wash, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer lotion. Air conditioning worked great. Bed comfortable with lots of pillows. Only negative the paint on the trim could use a bit of a touch up. But I’m sure with rolling luggage bashing it up would be a daily task. Close to shopping and restaurants. Very Friendly staff. Overall pleased with stay and would not hesitate to return.

Unfortunately the one window we had looked into the bowels of the interior of the building proper. This room was definitely priced way-too-high for what was provided. Perhaps other rooms are nicer, but we would not recommend, and we will not be back.

Very little to no amenities. No continental breakfast. Has someone else’s name on the tv the whole time I was there. Towels were dirty when I got there and tried to get wash out the stains as much as I could. If it wasn’t a super last minute trip and I had a better budget I would’ve stayed at the Sheraton. Will be staying at the Sheraton if I ever come back to Montreal

The location of this hotel is prime! It was clean and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Lobby is very nice but rooms could use some TLC. Still clean but you can tell the trim is banged up, old and could use a make over. The location and staff made up for that.
Will definitely be staying there again!

When we went to check in and they told us we were lucky for getting a room on the 7th floor (the elevator only goes to floor 6). We agreed and took the room. The bathroom was gross and there were uncleaned bugs sitting around and live bugs. The bed sheets weren’t properly cleaned (stains, and hair). Overall experience wasn’t amazing. Maybe it’s because we got a room on a floor without an elevator (janitors can’t bring their stuff up stairs). Id say if your going for one night its good but multiple would be a problem, for me.

Stayed here for 1 night for a concert. Staff was very kind upon check in/out, and its proximity to the Bell Centre was the biggest pro being about a 5 minute walk away. Room felt a little small especially the bathroom but a short trip like this I didn’t mind at all. Would definitely come back for a similar situation in the future!

Elevators in hotel are in need of a major overhaul.... we got stuck in one of them; and they don't function very well and frankly very small.... location is great and prices were very cheap

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a room at the front of the building and located next to a fire station. This made for broken sleep.
The rooms had limited seating for socializing with friends. Our room had 1 chair and our friend’s room just had a stool. If you wanted to sit back to have a drink, you all have to sit on the bed.
The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is in need of a very deep clean. The walls, door, base of shower were very dirty. The shower wall was cracked in places. The water pressure was very low. If you have long hair, you may not get a good rinse after shampooing.
There were times we had to take the stairs because of the elevator being slow/busy. Oh the awful smell in the stairwell! It smelt just like sewer. If we travel to Montreal again, we will not be staying at this hotel.

We stayed in Room 673 - basically the attic of the hotel.We were told at front desk we were on the 6th floor, only to arrive on the 6th floor (top floor of hotel),not be able to find our room, then realize behind a door is a spiral staircase with 24 stairs to climb (with luggage) to get to our room.The room was large.When we turned on the lights we immediately saw two silverfish squirming across the floor (first of about 15 we saw in our 1-night stay), amongst many other types of bugs. Pulled back the duvet on the bed to find two fleas on the sheets getting into bed…didn’t see any bed bugs though, so that’s a plus I guess? Besides the many bugs, the room was not clean,for example the base of the toilet had about 15 different pubic hairs around it, and there were red stains on the bed sheets.There was a large very strange run-down patio off of our room, that was shared with another room. When we arrived the sliding door to the patio was open, which I found odd because of the sharing element. There was no furniture on this extremely large patio, not even a chair…only a dead bird and old coffee cups that hadn’t been removed. Went to take a shower before bed and there were zero towels in the bathroom…not even a hand towel. Called front desk and they said we can come down (the 24 stairs, then elevator) to get some. I wonder if the requirement for housekeeping staff to climb stairs with towels, bedding, etc means this room just never gets properly cleaned. Best Western - do better

Horrible and outdated rooms, for the price you pay. Could not sleep all night as there was noises of moving machines in the middle of the night. and there is also moving elevators in the middle of the night, i believe they were moving trash outside in the middle of the night!
The AC unit is very old (old style split unit) and turns off and on with loud noise, woke me up every time it turned on and off and i am usually a heavy sleeper!
There is not even a small bottle of water in the room for all the money you paid, the room cost almost 300$ a nigh!
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, needs major renovations and keeping up!

Old hotel that needs to be updated, it was F1 Grand Prix week so we didn't have many options. Laminate flooring was peeling up and walls could be cleaned. The doors, inside the shower, and the wooden surfaces needed to be cleaned as well.
The cleaning crew forgot to clean our room/bring us fresh towels. We had to ask for these services a handful of times.

After checking in there was no one to assist us with our luggage. No bell hop available. The luggage cart barely fit into the elevator (4 person max) and we struggled to get it to our room. The parking garage that was associated with the hotel would've taken us another hour in traffic to park there so we chose a more expensive, closer garage. Overall, staff were polite and the room was clean but would only stay here again if nothing else was available.

Elevator kept breaking down and had to continually take the stairs. No hairdryer in room and went to front desk and asked for one but it never arrived. Ended up buying one. Floors were not the cleanest as my feet got dirty walking around the room. Overpriced due to F1 weekend but I was in the city for my daughter’s university graduation. For over $800 one night, you should get a hairdryer in your room!! Next time I’ll be staying somewhere else.

The room was ok but the bathroom was so small and had no counter space and nowhere to hang towels. They had to leave the towels on the toilet which is not very sanitizing.

On the second day they didn’t clean the shower well.

One elevator broke so had to take the stairs. The hallway was so dirty and smelled so bad.

We appreciated the early check in on a day whwre we were tired from our travels. The hotel gave us a gift bag upon arrival that had useful drinks, snacks and earplugs - all useful for our F1 experience. The hotel was located close to walk to many restaurant options as well as having a Cora's resraurant for breakfast. It has been my first choice of hotel when traveli g for work or for events like F1 or hockey games. Tje staff are accomodating amd were able to store our luggage for a few hours on the day we checked out. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Front desk agent was OK but another person, who was apparently some assistant manager, was downright unhelpful and uncaring. I was given a room, which looked like it was a dungeon (no window) and very dark so I asked for something else. Front desk said it was the only room left (note that when I booked a couple of hours before, there were 7 rooms available on your site). I told the front desk agent that the said room was unacceptable. I mentioned that I would be looking elsewhere and to get refunded. The other person stepped in ad said it was booked by Expedia and that it was non-refundable. Insofar as the room, he said basically to take it or leave it. No interest shown in helping.
