Great amenities, even has a Lego room! Enjoyed the onsite gym and hot breakfast buffet but wish they had decaf coffee and tea options. Agree the lack of duvet cover is a little strange - hopefully they’re washing them? It looked clean anyway. Very central and great choice for us with two small twin rooms within the suite!

I’ve stayed at this place two times the first time was much better because the room was air conditioned upon arrival. The second time staying here the AC was off and I checked in at 5pm even at 1am it wasn’t cooled off enough to have a good sleep. It’s the cheapest place to stay in MTL and the location is great. If you’re on a budget this is the best place to stay. The room was very clean. Looking for a bit more comfortable bed and nicer amenities spend more and look elsewhere. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time I need a place to stay in MTL

We enjoyed our brief stay. The location was great, walking distance to most places. I loved our twin beds room where there was a wall between the bed, offering us more privacy. The shower didn't work, unfortunately, and we could have used a small refrigerator in the room.

Good value for what you pay. If you want a cheap alternative to more expensive accommodations then this is fine. It’s a bed in a safe and tidy environment with your own bathroom. The included breakfast is definitely a bonus.

Over $300 per night in an ill equipped dorm room. No water… no ice…. The cheapest of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Electrical outlets are few and I’ll placed. Even for a dorm room it is pathetic.

Check in process was confusing and long. My bed sheets were soiled and the comforter was also soiled. When attempted to get this issue resolved with the “front desk” I was told to email the general email address as the manager on duty was too busy to address the issue with me in person. 6 days later I never heard back.

We had a stay over at the campus hotel, when we arrived there was no shower working, the room smelled, maintenance person never came to fix the shower, we asked to have house keeping and never got anything done! I kept going back and forth with the staff over all this and never was able to get the help or anything I desired or asked for! Don’t recommend it for the price we paid

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was overall comfortable. We read the reviews before we came so we knew what to expect. We are very picky about linen and bedding so we brought our own sheets, pillows and blankets and did not use the ones that were provided as we felt like maybe they weren’t the freshest and not the best quality. Overall it was a comfortable stay, the breakfast was good and the location was amazing! The parking lot nearby was not owned by the campus and it was full but we did find one that was 2 minutes away that was so easy to get into! There are so many parades around!!!!

Good economical option if you are just looking for a bed in the city. Very tight rooms, but sizable public areas on the ground floor. The building houses local college students during the school year. Includes a decent, cafeteria style breakfast in the AM. They have some arcade games, ping pong, and pool tables that would keep younger guests happy.
The beds are pretty high - somebody with mobility issues would find it challenging.
Parking garage was a disaster, but I'm guessing the construction will be completed soon. There were a bunch of signs indicating cars would be towed, but also cars parked right next to those signs. There are several other good overnight parking options close by.

Experience was terrible from the beginning of the stay until I had to check out earlier just to leave that place and go find another stay. Check in was extremely slow and done by unprofessional people. We get to the room, and the room looked like it was cleaned by a kid with used towels and dirt bed sheets. We put our stuff and go to take a shower, the shower head is broken. We go directly to tell the staff about the issues. They weren’t bothered and one of them was even laughing. Head of house keeping happens to be standing by the desk so she jumps to defend the staff and says the room was thoroughly cleaned. We tell them if you don’t believe us come up to the room with and check for yourself. She checks it, she seemed like she didn’t like that she was wrong and changed the sheets and took away the towels without bringing a replacement. As for the shower problem, they just kept delaying us and saying the maintainer guy will come by soon. The whole day passes and nobody showed up. Early morning went to check out and leave that terrible place, the staff didn’t even seem to be bothered to apologize for how terrible they were.

Great experience. The place was clean. The breakfast cafeteria was great. Check in was easy.. but not before 4pm! We had two singles that were in separate rooms with a main common area and private bathroom. Worked great. Was quiet. The beds are not super comfy, but they worked. There is no blackout window coverings for sleeping, so pack an eye mask. The parking is underground underneath and very tight and limited… but still got a spot and never moved my car the whole time. 20$ a day. It’s a block from the place des art Subway, you can get anywhere. You are only a couple blocks from shopping at St Catherine’s. The price was great for a 2 day trip to see a concert. Would stay again.

Wonderful use of a campus building! Great area with lots to do. My basic level room was massive and the bed was really comfy. I saw some other reviews that said to request extra pillows but I was fine with the two. The breakfast selection was excellent. Just know that the cafeteria will likely be very busy (not just with hotel guests). There is plenty of seating though and in a wide variety of high top tables, regular tables, booths, and benches. I do wish I had the option to eat breakfast in my room since the dishes can't leave the cafeteria but that's ok. The team working there was nice. The building is super secure too. You actually need your key card to exit and enter so keep that in mind.

I stayed for six days, never have anyone come in to clean the room. Dust on the floor, hair in bathtub etc. that I have to do it myself. Towels never changed, that you have to go to the reception area to ask for them. Terrible! More to it, I did extended for two extra days, my bed sheet never got changed either.

Location excellent. Breakfast is good but the cafeteria was VERY crowded with no available tables. You are not allowed to take dishes out of the breakfast room, so we missed breakfast a couple of days. It appears the reason why is they were providing breakfast to youth athletic teams that were staying in the hotel around the corner. One morning we saw at LEAST forty kids walk out of their hotel and file into our hotel. The bathroom tub did not drain properly so you had to stand in a tub of water when showering. In the second room we booked the bathtub faucet diverter wasn't working properly so again, a tub of water while only getting a trickle of water for your shower. I reported the issues but they were not fixed during our stay. You need key cards to come into the building and to leave the building. My son left with his key card and when checking out they charged us $34. I understand key cards are not cheap, but I thought it a little unreasonable that they would let me return it and then be refunded. Especially given the substandard conditions of the bathrooms during our 4 night stay and the purposeful overcrowding.

My family stayed at this property for five nights. We like everything about the property except the height of the beds. The location is excellent, breakfast is good, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The room is spotless. The room has two tiny rooms with a small shared area. The height of the beds are high in order to accommodate two storage cabinets under each bed. For a petite person like myself having a height of 5’-2”. it is not easy to climb up the bed. I need to step up to the bed using a tiny side table. The couch in the common area is not a comfortable one either. I guess, the room encourages occupants stay out of the room, except for sleep. Overall, I like the property, good value for the money. I will choose a room more carefully next time.

Check in was decently easy, but the rooms don’t have a TV. I didn’t think they would but was hoping for it so just keep that in mind 😭. The beds are very stiff and the pillows are way too soft (only one pillow per bedroom). The toilet and shower are in one room while the sink is out in the open, disconnected from the bathroom. Feels gross having to touch the door knob before washing your hands. No microwave or fridge in the rooms either. To top it all off the bedroom doors lock from the inside. I didn’t know this and got locked out of my bedroom and had to ask the staff to unlock it for me. There is only one outlet in the bedroom that is far from the bed and none in the living room. At least they provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion 😅.

If you’re looking for a super clean, fun atmosphere, amazing location (close to subway, restaurants, shops, etc.) room at a fraction of the price traditional surrounding hotels charge, then you will love Campus 1.
If you’re looking to get pampered with spas, room service, and giant screen TVs, then this is probably not the place for you.

I like that we were very close to a lot of spots, walking distance to downtown and half an hour walk to Zipline and Ferris wheel! First time there and it was great! Super helpful that everyone was super accommodating speaking English despite horror stories of not being able to speak French! Great experience

Campus1 MTL is great. We checked in late at night but the process was easy. The staff at the reception explained the t&c of our stay very well. The only downside is that the street in front of the property is being repaired which caused a lot of traffic in the area and made it difficult for us to get there. This is outside the control of Campus1 MTL though. But overall, our stay at this property is very good and convenient.

It was a nice place to stay for a week-end with a friend. We got a double twin beds room. It was a small room bur with everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and so was the rest of the room.
