Waited 11 minutes to be checked in, noone else around, staff member just puttering around on the computer, no \"I'll be a moment\", nothing, just stood there with my confirmation and waited 11 awkward moments.
Given a breakfast voucher as I had pre ordered with my hotel, unable to use it as it was not explained where the restaurant was, lost our on that extra $. The hotel was in the middle of Reno's, which is ok these things happen, but why rip every piece of trim in every room up, holes in the wall, not one room completed or actually started just a dusty and disorganizedmess from the moment I walked in until I entered the elevator to go to my room.
Would not recommend, would not return, from the advertised pictures to the actual hotel it couldn't of been much more if a disappointment.

It is hard to review a property under such renovations : nothing from the lobby to the dining room to the common area to the main entrance was available or in sharp condition. That said, the room was perfectly clean and the bed comfortable, but... there were no curtains to block the daylight. What is the use of decorative curtains that can't slide in front of the window ?

Was impressed when I entered the room, then comes the rest. Stayed on the 6th floor. Bathroom is tight and claustrophobic, with the door opening into the toilet. Seemed as if the room was not cleaned prior to arrival. Stains on the bathroom wall and mirror, filthy shower, hairs and stains on toilet. Sink pools water after minimal time of water running. Filthy floors with dirt and hair. Bed sheets had hair and stains from prior use or improper cleaning. Had a do not disturb sign on door and staff still entered while I was not decent. One of the worst stays I have had in a hotel. The only bright side was its location, but for the price you’re better off getting a better hotel with same location, with a relatively similar price but surely more pride taken on maintenance and cleanliness. Will never stay here again.

It was ok. The room was cute (we got the smaller suite, not sure I would consider it a suite). The floors in the little kitchen nook weren't clean but the rest of the room was. Updated bathroom which was nice. The lobby was under construction, so it looked absolutely nothing like the picture but that's not their fault. It was nice having parking and for free. The breakfast we paid for was ok but expensive for what we got. Close walk to St Catherine's Street which was very convenient. I wouldn't be opposed to staying there again but i also wouldn't be opposed to staying elsewhere.

The room itself was fine. The hotel however was misrepresented - it is currently under renovations in the lobby area and the pictures on Expedia are future state. There's no restaurant or bar (aside from a buffet set up in a hall) which was disappointing as we were looking forward to that. We would have decided to stay elsewhere if we knew about the renovations.

Unfortunately our first room ended up having an ant invasion. The hotel eventually moved us to another room. The critters were probably due to the renovations the hotel was going under. That is one bone worth picking: we didn't find out, from the hotel, about the renovations until the day we were leaving for our trip - the bad taste it left us was hard to ignore.

Issues from the beginning and it only got worse. First off this hotel is maybe a 1.5 star hotel. How it receives 4 stars in Expedia is a mystery?
The hotel lobby is undergoing a major renovation but this information isn't passed to the client until after the cancelation period ended. Literally within minutes of the the cancelation expiration.
The hallways are old and worn, the rooms are worse. The pictures online are nothing like the rooms we had, definite bait and switch. Stark lifeless rooms. Very worn. Dirty. Some room lights didn't. The safe didn't work. The shower randomly came on in one of the rooms. The shower controls were a disaster. Water spraying all over from the hand control and rain shower.
Stains sheets, stains on all the furniture in the lobby area connecting to the restaurant. Not little dirty marks. whole cushion stains from some unknown fluid.
We got in late and couldn't change hotels. Thankfully we were there for less then 14 hours.
The real kicker was the price dropped $100 per room by the time we arrived at the hotel.

Room was very clean and the staff maintained it very well. Despite the construction on the main floor, everyone seemed quite nice and professional. One of the two elevators went offline, but it lasted just a day or so.
Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed multiple times here and this time was disappointing the place is under construction and was unaware, the receptionist was not friendly at all ( not sure if it was cause we are from the USA). We stay here due to parking and location we are VIP with Expedia we will give it one more time and see how it is next time.

I booked this to be close to the Bell Centre. My room was like a suite - bigger than a reg room and almost like a small apartment. Beyond my expectations. Good price. A bit of trouble finding the Fri T desk but who cares. The room was amazing.
Parking on site at a good rate.
I DEFINITELY will be back. Loved it. Marc

The heating unit blow cold air every now and then, very annoying and uncontrollable. Other than that, the rooms are clean and service is very good. Quick to respond to service calls.

The room was pretty decent, the hotel is under construction, so the front entrance is now around the side and not great. The smell near the elevators wasn't so great some days; it seemed like they were burning something or cutting something. Super lumpy pillows also, had to move it around a lot to get it semi-comfortable. The shower is the room was the best part, great pressure! I wouldn't call it \"Le Nouvel Hotel\", more like \"Le Vieux Hotel\"!

Le Nouvel really takes care of hotels.com platinum members. Upgraded to a suite. I like the hotel better than the apartment tower, but free parking, great location, and a nice view. I've stayed here numerous times--request a church view.

Business facilities were under construction mostly everything. Not what people see in the app. It is a mess there. 3 dryers only and two broken. The site abd hotel horrible. It wasn't what I expected neither what I see in the app pictures. No clean; staff doesn't care about anything.

The hotel rooms were updated and the beds were very comfortable. The problem was that the room was not clean. The shower heads were covered in soap scum and the shampoo and the body wash dispensers were empty. After I cleaned the the shower heads and proceeded to take a shower, only then did I realize there was nothing to clean with. Floors were not vacuumed. I would not stay here again.

The lobby was being renovated when we arrived, and it made me nervous for what the hotel would be like, but the rooms were fine. We had a studio style with 2 queen beds. Bathroom was also nice. The staff at the front desk were kind and the underground parking was a good perk.

The sliding bathroom door was ridiculous, the shower although looking very brand new hardly worked and made a very loud noise.
Checking in was slow and it didn't seem like they knew what they were doing.
Was NOT made aware by Expedia or the hotel that there was significant work being done on the property until AFTER I'd reserved. The breakfast I paid $75 extra for was terrible. Gross even. We will never be back, and am questioning using Expedia ever again. Au Revoir!

There were no hangers in the closet to hand our coats. They're were spotlights shining on the front of the building and therefore through all the friggin spaces around the curtains. Can you sleep when your room is lit up like the Vegas strip?

I have stayed here before: friendly , efficient staff, excellent location, very clean and comfortable room. One small problem: I was running late and could not figure out how to operate the shower; no time to ask for help. Lots of towels, a choice of pillows (different \"hardness\"), soft to hard) for a very comfortable sleep and they offer real bars of soap.

The room was simple, comfortable, and clean. It was exactly what I needed. The conveniences of being centrally located to some shopping and the Bell Centre, and having an on-site, small restaurant for an early dinner, were a bonus. The breakfast option was also nice. The selections were standard and well prepared. I especially enjoyed the coffee.

**Note (11/18-25)** During breakfast on the morning of our checkout, my adult son badly cut his finger using the bagel knife, a total accident! I mention it, not only as a general word of caution while using these knives, but to give a note of praise. The attention given to my son was so kind as well as sincerely caring to provide everything she could to help. I regret that I do not remember her name. Because of your attention and care, he did not require an emergency room visit. Thank you so very much!
