This hotel is so charming. It is in an excellent area with the Guy Concordia metro station two blocks down the road. Walked everywhere with ease. The staff was great. The hotel was very clean, yes it’s a little old, but so clean! The bed was very comfy and the room was so cute, I absolutely loved it. The only think that was a little bit annoying was the pipes and the heating was quite loud.

The breakfast was not as good as expected. My expectations were quite high after seeing the photos and especially because Expedia listed this hotel as “top rated” for breakfast. I went around 9:45 a.m. and the selection was almost empty. The croissants were crushed, the coffee was cold, and the eggs were very overcooked. Overall, it was very basic — cereal, yogurt, sliced bread, and not much else.
I was a bit disappointed with this part of the stay, especially since we partly chose this hotel because of their breakfast description.
Also, the bathtub is very small, and the floor in the room felt like it had a dip or hole underneath the carpet.

Had an absolutely lovely time in this cozy boutique hotel. We were in the Versailles suite for a romantic evening in and it was delightful. The staff was friendly, room was stunning and clean, breakfast was small but adequate and the dining room was quaint. Was our first visit, but certainly won’t be our last.

Furniture did not fit well in room configuration. Also a counter piece installed behind toilet would hit you in the back when you sat on toilet.
When staff came to deal with a lamp, the fridge was unplugged and our food was not cold. When we asked for ice , they gave us a bag that leaked and was as big as a pillowcase. When told a ziplock bag would suffice, they said they had none.
On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was enough to sustain us. They kept our luggage till 2:00, while we went to the Museum nearby.

My recent stay at Château Versailles was unfortunately disappointing. The staff at the front desk were warm and welcoming, which I truly appreciated, but the overall condition of the hotel has clearly declined.

We stayed here some time ago and I remember the experience being far better, so I’m not sure what has happened since. The hotel now looks and feels rundown and seriously neglected. While the room itself was a decent size, the bathroom was particularly concerning — the grouting was visibly dirty and in poor condition. Something as simple as a fresh line of silicone would make a significant difference and improve the overall impression.

It’s disappointing to see the property in this state compared to our previous visit. Sadly, we won’t be returning

We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised with a lovely upgrade, which made our visit even more special.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The location couldn’t have been better; it was so close to everything, making it easy to explore without any hassle.

A special thank you to the valet team as well — the service was excellent, quick, and always delivered with a smile.

Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely love to stay here again!

The staff are great but the heating system is very noisy and kept waking me up at night. The bed was hard and the bedding less than desirable, rough cotton.

I stayed here in July and found the air conditioning system. Also very noisy. The bedding was a bit better and the bed was a king size which was more comfortable. I don’t remember it being hard.

The breakfast buffet is fine, it’s a continental breakfast. It would be nice to have some yoghurt available, not just cottage cheese. The bagels were way too hard though, maybe a bit stale?

Beautiful hotel! Location is very excellent and the on was well furnished and cleaned everyday.
The only downside was there was an issue with the garage so we had to park our car in a public lot a few blocks away. When we asked about the garage the next morning the attendant didn’t know what we were talking about.
Great espresso in the room but the breakfast was pretty lacking.
Over all it was a very good experience and I will definitely stay there in the future!

Hotel is in a good location but the building and rooms are a little dated. The hallways and rooms creak when someone is walking which adds to the character but can be an issue if you are a light sleeper. The bathrooms are in need of an update. Breakfast is a small selection of breads and a few pastries with some cheese and ham. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Hardly any heat in the room (18 degrees). Called to get it repaired but all I got from the very polite gentleman was he brought us a portable heater saying the heating was not working properly. The next morning, one face cloth only in the room with no towel. Also, your staircase is extremely dangerous, no handrail available to climb up of down as the one in existence is rendered unavailable due to the flower pots in place. If those pots were more on the other side of the rail, would render access to your hotel much easier et especially much safer.

The room is nice and comfortable. Staff is agreeable and breakfast is adequate and plentiful. One thing only to criticize, on entering the room it would have been nice to have a place to put our winter boots in like a rubber mat. My socks were a bit grimy after I walked around the room. It would encourage further guests not to walk around with their boots in the room. The room was facing Sherbrooke street so I recommend earplugs.

Chateau Versailles is in an excellent location - right on Sherbrooke, metro nearby, walkable for the unis and museums and core downtown sights. Super friendly staff and feels safe. Enjoyed the breakfast - hard boiled eggs, ham and cheese, yoghurt, nice coffee and teeny pain au chocolat and crossant super addictive. Bit dated but nice clean and great value.

The bathroom floor tiles were loose. The sink was clogged. The shower had warm but not hot water. The sink vanity was missing a piece of wood. The TV had only 2 channels.

The front desk clerk was amazing! He came down and got my bag from my car and carried it in for me. I got a sweet treat upon arrival and everything I asked for was met with support and the genuine desire to make my stay comfortable. He was so pleasant and helpful. The room is beautiful, the hotel is quaint and cozy. This place is a real gem.

Very nice room. Nice hotel. Great location. We rented the Trianon suite. Very well kept, clean, spacious, full kitchen. Couple of minor issues in the room can be improved, but nothing serious. One major drawback to this particular room: it is right next to the breakfast room (very good breakfast by the way). At 6:30am the staff is starting to prepare the breakfast. Unless you are an extremely sound sleeper, you can expect to be woken up at 6:30am if you book this suite.

I gave a five star review because everything was outstanding. The building is beautiful and unique, not your standard hotel. Everyone was friendly and nice, the included breakfast was very good and the room where they served it was special. We are not kind of people who linger around it a meal, but we enjoyed it so much we spent an hour and a half and this is closed pretty much you said right if you closed it did you close it and crushed the thing ahead well, you said you would originally thought you said it closed itself doesn’t matter I didn’t really care about the little thing I expected to get lost jeans aren’t the most comfortable thing to sit around and Mowder open
