Pleasant hotel

Rooms are very spacious with huge beds and powerful showers. The resort is incredibly hilly and whilst they have buggies to ferry you around if you have limited mobility you will find it difficult. Breakfast was a bit average in our opinion.

Very cozy and atmospheric place for a vacation. Beaches are easily reachable if you travel by car (by the way, parking near the hotel was free). The breakfast and dinner buffet was not very big, but offered a great selection and quality of food. The staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The spacious room included a kettle, fridge, and even a washing machine.

Found the room dirty, unpleasant, items broken , shower mouldy , broken items sitting on top of the shower. Didn’t stay checked out within 2 hours, would not give us our money back , was disgusted, considering they charged us 340 euro a night. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

El sitio es espectacular, un pueblo con mucho encanto, habitaciones espaciosas y la vista Mar simplemente breathtaking.
Sin embargo le faltan muchos detalles para estar a la altura de lo que pagas y de lo que debería ser un Barceló.
Cena bastante pobre en cuanto a calidad. Imposible beber cocteles en la piscina porque no tenían ningún por falta de ingredientes o simplemente por no saber hacerlos.
La habitación estaba bastante bien pero tiene señales claras de falta de mantenimiento. Cocina, paredes, baños.
Esperaba algo más, la location al final te hace valorar todo más de lo que es.

Love it,if you like nice and quiet,This Retro Spanish style village must go.Service Top to bottom perfecto!Staffs all carry smile everywhere u go.Dont expect bar or restaurant near by.its Zero.But u got everything u need inside the resort.Go for half board.Both Buffe breakfasts and Dinner also Good too.

Remember get a Seaview Room.

100% will go back.

Nice place worthy of another visit!

Great place, giving a feel of a little Spanish village next to the lovely view of the sea. It was just superb on a fine sunny day, and pretty grim and gray on a fully cloudy/rainy day.
Excellent team, great food as part of half-board stay and attention was given whenever we needed help or some addons like kettle, beach towels, etc. The kitchen team were very innovative and did a nice spread of variety of food, different every day and with plenty of options for young kids, who can eat some healthy food and not just nuggets or burger or chips.

We loved our time here. Our delux family suite was fabulous with amazing sea views. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Pool was lovely. Bus outside hotel on the hour bringing you to beach and El Campillo. Only downside is lack of access to shop if you don't have a car. Only snacks available at reception. Other than than loved it.

Wonderful view of the Mediterranean

Excellent value and excellent staff. Wish I could have stayed a week. Amazing view. If you plan to stay awhile know that it’s on the side of a hill and the walk up and down to your room is quite a hike. They have staff with golf carts to bring you around if needed and especially during check in and out when you have your luggage. So glad I found this hotel!

Short stay so not really a chance to see all on offer but room was a huge 1 bed apartment with large bathroom and kitchen. Good distant sea view from small balcony. General condition was poor, breakfast room too small and crowded. Very steep paths to get to room, not suitable for anyone who has walking difficulties. Reception staff not as welcoming as others we have used. Could be nice with some effort from the management but for now, I'll be staying elsewhere.

Hotel.com need to revise there siteinformation.

Absolutely disgraceful that what is on your site is not what you receive and then to be told that all there new standards were given to Hotels.com. We booked this property through you because the description of amenities that the place had!! When we got there it had all changed. No sauna, no steam room, no gymnasium. These with not being there and asked why they were advertising them on your site, they said they had informed you? When we got in the property we were then told that any crockery and utensils, plus toaster and coffee maker were to be charged to the room if we asked them to give us ? Later they looked at my itinerary and gave up on the crockery and toaster and brought them for no charge and said there was now just a coffee maker in the reception. When the cooker hob it would not work. The window to our bedroom at no catch on one side and we could not even be bothered about no plug unabling us the have a bath. Breakfast the first morning although looked great we choose an English breakfast which unfortunately was cold. We were treated fairly but the staff and were very good at their job, and the whole place was nice and oldy worldly. But I’m sure that the price charged was to much for the mistakes in your catalogue (site) I am very sure during the summer months there could be quit a bit of trouble if this is not sorted. As many people will not like the situation.

Great location; close to Alicante, Altea and the Beach; you can take a Bus right in front of the Hotel, however, you will need a Car if you like more freedom of movement. The provided breakfast is a great value and you will not find it anywhere else! Staying In the Hotel, will give you the feel of living in a Spanish Pueblo; will definitely stay here again in the future. The Staff are very friendly through out the Property. It provides a family setting with many families with young children chose this Property.

Excellent views from balcony, including a drape to provide some shade during the day. Could easily spend many hours enjoying the view.
Pool is right outside the door (unit 8) and restaurants are nearby. Unit could benefit from some maintenance, entry door handle out of adjustment, deck board broken, bathroom tiles need grout cleaned.

Nice staff, better for longer stay than one night

We just stopped in for one night on our way south from Barcelona. It is probably a better place to stay for a longer period of time as you have to take a golf cart to get your bags to the room. But the place was nice (just a little tired) and the staff was lovely.

A nice place, but given the distance (4.5km) from central El Campello we would be reluctant to stay again. Another problem is the steep hill that this hotel sits on. To be fair they do use a golf cart to move your luggage, but a lot of people would struggle to walk up and down on their own steam.

We loved the place. Expedia need to mention that unless you go all inclusive everything is very expensive and as it’s an apartments hotel no daily room service unless you’ve got all inclusive,

The hotel is quaint and lovely. Very nice staff, good and entertainment. The shop is a rip off but otherwise convenient.

Beautiful property! Very reasonably priced (early June). Spacious apartment that well equipped. Parking outside is limited. But for an extra small fee, there is parking inside the property.
I was on crutches with a broken ankle. The property is not handicap friendly! But the staff and guests were very willing to help in any way that they could. I would return without hesitation.

We were surprised by the studio which was very spacious with all amenities including a washing machine. However this property is not suitable for elderly or those with mobility issues although they do have a good cart to transport people with luggage and shopping.

Ideally you need to drive as it's 9km from El Campello beach and surrounding area and costs 15euro by taxi each way. there is a bus but it doesn't run at weekends.

the shop on the premises is very expensive.

Overall we found it great bit we hired a car.

What a view....

The good - Fabulous 1 bedroom apartment with glorious view of the water. Workable kitchen facilities and appropriately stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Comfortable and reasonably well appointed.
The not so good - Walls are thin and external noise can be easily heard...not bad when its the waves braking, not so good when the service golf carts or other guests are out and about too early or too late. Restaurants need some improvements.
The area - 20 minutes from Alicante by car (you really do need to have a car) and while the resort itself is very nice, there is nothing near it...restaurants, bards, clubs, etc.
The verdict - Great value, nice family spot if you have little ones and expect to stay in the resort all day, or if you prefer something outside the hustle and bustle of the city. I did not mind the 20 minute drive at all, so it was not a major issue for me, but if you don't have your own car or want to drink in the evenings, my guess is that those cab rides would get a little troublesome....

So nice to walk out onto balcony to a lovely sea view. Very tranquil and laid back, nice pool - very cold but clean and not crowded. Accomodation a nice standard and spacious. The restaurants there aren't that great and a bit overpriced - better to head into El Campello where there's loads of choice and better quality. Mini golf nice for the kids.

Nice hotel with beautiful beach view

The one bedroom suite was very nice and the views were worth the extra money. It was February so a bit cold, but we still sat on the deck overlooking the water and got a little sun. The only drawback was that it was cold when sun went down and we could not get heat to work, so we just st layered up. I doubt this would be a problem very often. Check in receptionist spoke excellent English.

5 star rating because its good value for money.
You have all you need in your room,fully equiped kitchen ,fridge,washing machine,tv,sofa.
You need to take in consideration that is a bit far from Alicante and I only recomend this hotel if you have a car,beaches near the hotel al rocky ,no sand.
Depending where is your room it might be a long walk from the car park to your room.
The room is cleaned every 3 days.

The view from the room was amazing! But it was older and definitely could use some new paint and a good cleaning.Air conditioning is poor and rooms got extremely warm! The cockroach was a not so nice roommate for our son. Maids only clean rooms every third day so making beds and basic stuff you do, not much of a vacation for Mom.

Amazing apartment - so well equipped - everything you need is there and of high quality.
The bed (king size) was super comfy and we could really sleep well.
Bear in mind that this is a resort, so everything is within it - which is very comfortable when you actually come for a few days, but can be a bit overpriced when you come, as we did, for one night.
A nice surprise was the laundry machine in the kitchen that was very useful to us!
We only ate once in the resort and it was not the best but decent.
People we encountered were very kind and nice.

This was a nice hotel,....if you can find it...GPS does not find this hotel, (Google maps does).
The restaurant was very good in the hotel, the one next door to the hotel ...good luck getting service
The staff I came in contact with, were friendly and fluent in English.
This hotel has a great theme, makes you feel that you are in a typical old Spanish town, with the stone streets and the houses in neat rows with lots of places where to seat and enjoy the scenery.
I would stay again.

The fridge is massive, you have everything you need to cook with, there's even a washing machine and an iron with board. The staff are most helpful. In the summer there are two pools, a big one and a smaller one. The only thing is you probably would need a car but the tram system is easily accessible from here and that tales you to all the main places along the coast up to Benidorm. Anyway great place!

nice and clean hotel

very polite and welcoming staff, very helpful when you ask them for anything, amazingly clean and tidy . the rooms had all what you need. the sofa bed it was quite small for 2 kids. but for 2 small children is ok.
it is quite isolated you need a car.

Lovely little quaint Spanish village look and feel. Apartment was nice but if you get one with a sea view then you're in for a serious treat. Absolutely stunning. My wife and I could sit out there for hours just staring at the vast body of water right in front of us. Lovely towns nearby and the white sandy beaches of Alicante were always clean and quiet (it was October half term)! You do really need a car to get around though.
