Staff worked hard and were excellent, facilities modern, location to beach and transport to Alicante etc good. What was disappointing was queueing to get in the restaurant and queuing to get out due to the ticket system they have for drinks. Despite registering a card you have to pay at the till on the way out of the restaurant which due to it being busy were long queues in and out. Also to note they don't even supply water it's charged 3.50 euro per litre when the mercado is selling 6 litres for 1.50? They don't let you take anything in. They asked what our preferred meal time was due to it being busy but despite turning up at 8pm the queues were huge spoiling the experience especially queuing to get out.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, especially with my two kids. They were patient, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. I truly appreciate how thoughtful and supportive everyone was, it made our stay so much easier and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families!

The breakfast buffet was not the best, poor system for the “live cooking” station, queues caused confusion and some conflicts, coffee machine was ok but if you had any coffee with milk it was not nice, stick to just espresso. The roof top pool area was excellent but the generic love island music playing in the background was infuriating and spoiled the atmosphere. If you choose a discounted room you are NOT in the main hotel and you won’t get a large window or balcony.The lifts in the old section are very scary, they make some terrible noises and the door will hit you if you are slow getting in. The shower in the room is fantastic, lots of pressure but sadly it will flood the room because the drains are poor. Not bad overall but would probably not stay again.

Stayed 4 nights, the last 2 nights the dinner time food was the BEST EVER out of all the Spain holidays we have been on, the quality and the seasoning of the food was exceptional, even the desserts was so good, i mean taste, fresh and made superbly. You can tell the Chefs have experience.

The negatives, you have to pay for Pool Towels 2€ and if u want a clean one u have to pay again. Very disappointed.

No entertainment. So nights is so boring and there is nothing within the area to go, you have to walk 15min to the beach promenade for abit of life. Kids do get bored.

Housekeeping, Waited for over 2 hrs for bath towels.

Remember remember there is a supermarket 6min away that sells EVERYTHING and cheap. Closed on Sundays bear that in mind , water vending machines is 2€ at hotel which in my opinion should provide at least a bottle free.

The hotel is modern and have big rooms, excellent interior and pools.

Anyway, honestly food quality is the best well done chefs please feed back to them. Oh forgot the food truck food and bar lunch food was superb too, nearly forgot to mention them. Thanks

It was lovely. The hotel gets very busy, with many families with children, and the swimming pool gets busy and very noisy, but the beach is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel and guarantees a beautiful sea and sandy beach. There are many bars with great food and drinks! Please note that the hotel is based in a residential area.

I recently stayed at port anlicante and was extremely disappointed with the condition of our room. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed a strong musty smell, and after looking around, I found visible mould on the walls and ceiling.This was deeply concerning, especially as I was traveling with my baby.

Mould poses serious health risks, particularly for infants, and staying in such an environment was completely unacceptable. When we reported the issue to the staff, they did respond and offered us a free meal as compensation. While I appreciate the gesture, it did not address the actual problem or the serious health concerns of staying in a mould-infested room.

A hotel should prioritize cleanliness and guest well-being, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. If you are traveling with children or have any respiratory sensitivities, I strongly advise against booking this hotel unless they make significant improvements.

Well, absolutely lovely hotel located to north of Alicante City, near great beach and promenade. You can easily reach the hotel or city via the TRAM lines 4 and 5.
As for the hotel, we choose half board and got to say be it Breakfast or Dinner food quality was excellent. Only let down at breakfast, was a hot water dispenser and mugs for a cup of tea :-) The queue for coffee machine was too long. Bedroom was well mainted, but I wish the pillow selection was better and spme UK english channels on TV would help. DO NOT forget to use the pool on roof and sit and take in the views!

Hotel was situated in a quiet area but close enough to the beach,supermarket and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful . Buffet breakfast and evening meal . Breakfast was included and good value with something for everyone. Evening meal was €20 per person but again you could eat as much as you wanted . Note that they do charge for water in the evening. The pool area is lovely with good sunbeds. Used the sky bar too with a small pool on the roof and comfortable seating. I travelled with a friend so we had a twin room which was clean and comfortable with memory foam mattresses and walk in shower which was hit and powerful. Disappointed that we didn't get a balcony as the hotel wasn't full and it would have been a nice touch by the hotel to upgrade us. They offered but wanted €60 so we refused . Bar staff were fab. Would stay again

Overall, our stay was very good until the balcony door came off its top hinge and starting falling on my partner. The door was huge, heavy and starting to fall quickly on to the balcony. Luckily my partner managed to stop it going over the side and it did not shatter the balcony glass, falling into the pool area below. At first we were moved rooms and offered only a free buffet lunch and dinner. I explained this wasn’t good enough and they agreed to a full refund of our stay. Once we were home, they did not refund us our full stay, only 5 nights out of 2. This was hugely disappointing to us. Especially considering the trauma and shock of nearly seeing my partner seriously injured or worse if the door had fallen from 5 stories.

The decor is fabulous- all very new and with a common modern theme throughout the hotel. Rooms are lovely- the fact that the sink area and shower are essentially in the main room may not suit friends travelling together but was fine for a couple. There is no full length hanging space which I found frustrating. The area is quiet - which is what we wanted- but beach and local restaurants easily walkable and trams and buses are close by. It always felt as though there was minimal staff around - however it was slightly out of season and they were polite & helpful. Overall a lovely hotel for a quiet couples get away with good access to Alicante etc

Dishonest hotel chain. Stay away

Dodgy hotel with misleading and obscure selling/marketing practices. We were there years ago when it was the Holiday Inn and saw it had been refurbished so decided to give it a go. Little we knewthey have an old wing that is still like the old hotel and they actively hide from every PR shot. This area is not up to even 3* standard, and they will put you in there if you book through a third party. Apparently is down to customers to know without warning that all rooms without balcony belong in the old wing. Aircon and TV don’t work (absolutely ruined the experience being in July in Spain and unable to relax in the room to watch the Olympic Games). They actively lied about the faults and estimated time to resolve. Poor WiFi reception, dark, smelly damp corridors. Shower floods the entire bathroom. Disgustingly dirty rooftop pool with lots of “floating particles”.
A complaint for a refund has been logged with the Spanish authorities after spending hours trying to reason with the front desk. Hotel director doesn’t even have the authority to make decisions on how the property is ran. All at 210+ euro/night for the pleasure. Take your hard earned money elsewhere, you have been warned

Super hotel outside Alicante (but near the tram).

Check in was delayed despite being told our room should be ready by around 3.30, we didn't get to our room till well after 5pm. The reception did ring me to confirm our rooms were ready which was nice.
The bed was rather uncomfortable being quite hard and there could be better shelving/drawer space. There is no hanging for dresses. (Well there is but it's very short so don't expect to hang your dress without folding it).
A suggestion for outside towel racks on the balcony as everyone hangs their towels over the balcony railing which doesn't look nice.
The upstairs pool should be Adults only/no under 16's/18's. The pool downstairs is sufficient for children and with the bar and 'chill out' atmosphere upstairs on the roof, it was spoilt by having shouting children in the pool.
The service in BOGO in the evening was very slow. I think management needs to do some undercover reviews and further training for staff upstairs in the evening. Despite that, the staff were friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere upstairs very much.
All staff we came across were friendly and willing to please.

The property has two buildings, an old building form the '70s and a brand-new building. I was given a room in an old part of the building and at the time of check or during reservation this was not clear - next time it would be nice if you can give a heads-up to guests so they can upgrade ahead of time. Even though old area of hotel was remodeled, hallway and elevator smelled of stale, wet and mold. Carpet seemed overused and stained, and the elevators ran slowly. The room had a Basic mattress and pillows. The bathroom shower tends to flood the bathroom if the showerhead was not aimed directly at the drain.
Breakfast was great, so was dinner (which I had to pay additionally). The bar food and drink offerings were pretty decent as well. Staff at the bar by the pool felt always overwhelmed and busy. Service was ok, but very slow. My partner didn't manage to get coffee couple of times, as servers were ignoring him and helping other customers. I was lucky to get their attention.

Within 15 minutes of the city centre. Easily accessible via the tram. Supermarket close by. 5-10 minute walk to the beach which was beautiful. The food was very reasonably priced for a 4 star hotel. The staff were all very friendly. The pool areas were lovely. The bathroom to the room was a little bit tired but all was very functional. NEVER EVER EXPEDIA, BAD STOLEN AWARDS

Booking with Hotels.com is a waste of money, you never get back your awards. they keep on the chat for hours without answering you. Don't book with Expedia or Hotels. com, they took from 4 awarded nights, it means 40 hotels night I stayed to deserve it and now they are erasing it from my account.

Very good . I had a change of plans and had to shorten my stay . The staff was super helpful . There is an older part of the building . The Balcony rooms in the new wing are the way to go

Very nice hotel. The corridors that lead to the rooms were very hot and uncomfortable at times. The luggage cart had flat tires and difficult to maneuver in the hot corridors. Our rooms were near the end of the corridors. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Hotel and its surroundings are visually beautiful. The hotel was very clean. The food and drinks were excellent and could not fault the staff who were very friendly and helpful.
