I was disappointed with this stay and expected better from marriot. The staff never acknowledged you and could be more friendly and welcoming, even if you're just entering the hotel to go to your room. The design of the room included no door to the bathroom just a loud sliding one, no bathroom fan, so everything smells or is steamy post shower. The sink faucet also leaked water everywhere. The towels were thin and on the one day housekeeping came to our room, didn't even give us any bath towels. It was easy to call for them but we didn't understand why we'd only be left with hand towels. The bed was too soft and pillows too flat so woke up in pain. The location was nice as it was close to the mall, plenty of restaurants and the metrorail to go into town. The pool and patio area was also nice. Our room was right off the elevator and there was a gap in our main door to the hallway so light and sound came through. Very thin hallways, could hear the neighbors tv everyday. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here.

As a Marriot member I’m honestly so disappointed in this location. Hotel is clean and all but customer service is the main thing. Let’s just say you aren’t apart of the staffs ethnic approval you can forget being acknowledged or helped like any other Marriot location. Never again.

The room itself was clean and fine. However the bathroom creates an overall unsatisfactory feeling. There is no fan in the bathroom so if anyone takes a shower the entire room is filled with moisture, to the point where the floor is constantly wet and sticky feeling. Had to crank the AC to combat the moisture but than we were cold! I thought maybe it was just my room but family staying here had the same experience. The pool area was really nice!

The guys from the reception, has the worst customer service in a hotel I ever stay on. The hotel urgently need to be renovated. The only very good thing, is the staff at the breakfast area. I loved does girls, they should be the ones that are at the front desk. Really nice customer service not like the really rude ones that the hotel have as of right now. Not staying at that hotel never again!!

The hotel itself is very nice and the staff is friendly enough. Unfortunately there is only valet parking and the only parking structures are for the MetroRail which actually has a decent price and somewhat connects to the hotel after a bit of a walk.
When I first arrived, I was not aware of this and the valet parking was full. When I inquired about the parking, a woman answered the phone and aggressively mentioned a parking lot \"a few blocks\" from the property. I asked where and she continuously shouted \"A FEW BLOCKS\", like I knew where that was. The front desk clerk, the valet guys- no one had any idea where I could park despite working there. I received help from a garage attendant for the MetroRail.
The AC also was not working and the room was 75°F the entire stay. An engineer was sent to the room to repair it unfortunately nothing was improved and I was not given another room.
The gym was good and the pool is pretty cool. The bartenders in the lobby's lounge were awesome with good drinks and beer selection.
Overall, I believe it's slightly overpriced for this hotel simply because of location. The quality and amenities aren't necessarily worth staying there again.

There was always a issue everyday with my stay. From the valet to the breakfast. The front desk all had different answers. There was no ice is the ice machine and there were stains in my room. My stay was a 3/10 very disappointed

I stayed here after having my flight postponed for a day and all hotels close to the airport were booked. I loved that they’re walking distance to the mall because I had to buy something to wear because my luggage was still at the airport.

The next morning I had an early flight and gentleman at the front desk was more than amazing. Realizing that I was catching an Uber before dawn, he offered to take my backpack (which was all I had with me) and meet the driver. This made me feel a little more secure than if I had been alone.
Despite all of the craziness that I experienced with my travel plans being altered; his small act of kindness made a difference.

No self parking.
You have to valet at $30 a day plus tip.
This makes this place undesirable.
Can’t leave anything in your car.
Plus $$$ on top of your room charge.
They need to have self parking.
But at least the room and hotel itself was good. Not the best, but ok/good.
