The AC in the room did not work. I was begging them for over five hours to come look at it, finally after five hours they agreed to switch 1 of my rooms.

The staff was great and very attentive! The food was abundant and delicious. This was a great place with a full board option, all inclusive bar, coffees, drinks, entertainment. Beautiful view from our private balcony. We didn't use the additional spa options, but did use the mineral pool and Jacuzzi.Thoroughly enjoyed!

Concierge Shlomit gave us her personal phone and responded to anything we needed. Her kindness made the hotel feel personal to us and that we were appreciated. All inclusive was nice. I never was able to find the water slides staffed so they were closed three days in a row which the grandkids really wanted to use, and the life guards weren’t paying attention to the kids so watch your kids. But the food was so good and so much value, beds comfortable and supportive. Housekeeping was outstanding and to be along the scenic Dead Sea was a great view and nice walks. Lobby area also comfy. Great value.

Loved being on the Dead sea beach. Separate woman/men hours for spa pools were an asset.Loved the All inclusive meals and drinks. Fluffy white towels and bathrobes were provided. Beautiful sunrises and sunset views over the Dead Sea. Night manager Sammy was particularly pleasant and efficient. The hotel could use a makeover and extra hygiene in certain spots. Food was ample and tasty but not always the highest quality .

This property is all inclusive great for kids. There are ices drinks and shows at night which kids love and will keep them busy the entire day which helps when adults want to go and enjoy the resort a little bit on their own. I definitely would recommend for families.

A few days ago I spent a day at the hotel. I will never make a reservation using Xpedia from next time.
1. Sitting at the counter, a lady named \"Angel\" kept us waiting for an hour. She didn't find a reservation on Xpedia. So, my family didn't make it to time to use the Dead Sea Pool. There was no reward.
Even the male manager couldn't help us. He didn't even apologize.
2. We paid for the hotel expenses including Tex at Xpedia. However, we re-assigned and paid for the Tex.

It gave me the meaning that this happens if I book with Xpedia.

3. I was comforted by a woman who provided guidance and service to our customers. She served us small mackerel towels, drinks, and late check-outs.

The hotel has great access to the Dead Sea and a nice pool. We went during May, during a very busy time. That said, the dining area was extremely full and busy, with long lines for popular food items, and cups and drinks sometimes running out. However, the location is fascinating and the Dead Sea access and view are great!

The hotel room was clean, receptionist was patient and kindly changed our room to one with a bath tub.
The food was pretty good, free beer and wine almost all day, water slides operated in the winter, a few steps from the salty beach.
The only improvement opportunity was that staff could be more of service.. took almost 30 minutes to get a dairy free option for 2nd breakfast (the first time we asked it was ok)

The property foes not meet international standards. Service is not good. Had a sink clogged and house keeping never showed up. Food is supposed to be all inclusive however quality and variety is very limited. No real alcoholic drinks as an example only limited choice of local beers and low quality wine. The positive side is dead sea itself with amazing access and the rooms that are good size and great views.

Don't Stay Here...

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed. The service was terrible starting from when we pulled into the front of the hotel. The person outside at the podium didn't even get up to help didn't say much except the the door to the hotel wasn't working and we had to use the revolving door while we pushed the baggage cart through. Then when we walked in and finally found the lobby the person at the desk was helping someone (who was not happy) once they finished we waited for her to call us. She didn't. We said something to her and she just said \"yes' as if we were interrupting her.

We get our room key and head to our room. You can see that hotel is not being maintained, it was dirty and scuffed up.

We get to our room and it is not ANYTHING like the posted pictures online. The room that we chose was for a family. The room had only one queen bed and a sofa that took sometime to figure out as it was not your typical pull out sofa.

Our room kept losing power throughout the night.

The pool area was also ANYTHING like the pictures. The beautiful pictured cabanas are dirty, broken and put to the side.

The food was pretty good. The coffee was water down, awful. The dining area wasn't the cleanest.

They should have paid us to stay there!

This hotel was fair at best.The front door personnel were no help. The front desk personnel were curt and not very helpful. Disappointing the swimming area, Dead Sea and swimming pool closes at 6pm. Crazy as it is still daylight outside. The dining was a mad house as it is a buffet. It seemed like no one had ever eaten before as they were cutting line and taking more than they could eat. The hotels issue was there was not any control by the hotel for orderly food distribution. Once you were able to get some food it was tasty. This was by far the worst hotel of this trip and we would not recommend.

The hotel staff is very friendly. The food is great. There were few problems that were not resolved on my stay 1. The WI-FI is not good at all 2. The TV speakers is low and have static noise 3. The safe was locked and I asked few times to open it but no one came. 4. You need to ask for veggie food main dish.

Do not stay at this property! The dining halls and food service was incredibly unhygienic. Guests were using their bare hands to take food off the buffet and so was the wait staff! Our party got extreme food posiening from the hummus which the management acknowledged was off.

The hotel is shabby and dated. But even worse was the lack of cleanliness and zero hygiene when it comes to food.

Our apartment was clean, but the balcony was far to small to be called a balcony. Bed was comfy but the bedding was too small for the bad and the base sheet was tearing on the edges. The room was basic and a little on the 'shabby' side. There were no instructions how to operate the air conditioner or even the tv. There was also a lack of adequate storage.
Food was also adequate in choice and overflowing in quantity
Overall our stay was good value for money but would have been so much nicer if the Hotel in general had a good clean and a makeover.
Would we go back - yes, purely because of the value offered

The only thing we liked is that the hotel is right on the water's edge, and we could enjoy the dead sea during the day and night. The rest was less than fine.
Check-in took longer than expected, we arrived at nearly 5PM, so why did they have to check if the room is clean? The food turned out to be mediocre. Our room wasn't that clean, found hairs in the shower and the toilets were dirty. It says room with balcony, but really it's a 1.5 square meters one. As a couple, we expected a double bed when we booked our superior room, but got 2 twin beds attached together. They seriously think having two Keter chairs in the room makes sense for a hotel?! Feels like a hostel. At least the shower was new and the view was great. Just don't!

i usually don't go for below 7 review hotels but this had 6.4 and i thought ill try it as it was the only all inclusive hotel in the dead sea which was a mistake
very noisy hotel its everywhere and you wont get some peace or quiet
dirty room, flooded sink, static noise from TV, dusty AC made me sick dry food in all meals, the all inclusive food is really of low quality.
the curtin wont fully shut so you wake up early with the sun

We're stayed in the Leonardo Club Hotel Dead Sea for two nights. The service was good, the room was cleaned, but...the food was terrible. Exactly, TERRIBLE! Especially lunch and dinner. The food was half baked and cold. I am extremely disappointed from the quality of food.

Overall I had a great experience with my whole family!
Pros- The hotel is right on the beach and all inclusive so you can enjoy benefits like free alcohol, ice cream and snacks all day long. Has a big pool, beautiful view.
Cons- food in the dining room is not the best, pool is pretty loud and crowded with a lot of activities, rooms are not maintained very well.

English and Spanish are the 2 biggest tourist languages and no one speaks English or Spanish... or they do when they are in front lobby but when they’re not they pretend not to speak English

The Dead Sea area is not blessed with the finest hotels in the world. This hotel has potential to be so much more than what it actually is - a mediocre one. It has somewhat decent spa facilities, a nice private beach, and a club for kids, but in needs a gut renovation ASAP.
Some rooms are in ok shape while in some you wouldn’t want to stay in during your vacation. Meals are varying between OK to Not Good and seems like no one in the kitchen really cares too much if foods served cold or just too damn dry. All in all, it’s hard to expect for more from Fattal chain.
Conclusion: This is not your destination for High Quality vacation. Total score. 5.5/10

The hotel is hotel for families so it’s a bit crowded. The food at the breakfast, lunch and dinner is fine but could be better. The rooms are a bit old. The positive thing is the area - the hotel is really close to the Dead Sea, only a few seconds by walk. All inclusive hotel so you can get popsicles and drinks at the swimming pool area as long as you want (at nights you can also get alcoholic drinks at the bar for free).

This is an all inclusive hotel. The food is the best part, but the pools are also more than what I expected. Location wise it could not be better. Literally 2 minutes from the shore.
Rooms are not well maintained, they-the rooms- are screaming for an update.

This Is THE WORST Hotel In Israel...

Leonardo Club at the Dead Sea was a terrifying experience. The valet didn't understand that we were trying to park our car, the lobby smelled like a middle school locker room, and there was urine in the stairwell. Why did we use the stairs? Because the elevators were slow and out of order half the time we were there. Dinner was a massive cluster. The only good entree was grilled chicken strips, and everyone was basically fighting over each batch as it came off the grill. All the wine on tap can't make up for the fact that a foul smelling rug rat hotel mascot was constantly trying to hug you in the common areas, and every time you would stand up to get more food they would bus & re-seat your table. God Save Us All... :(

Nice all-inclusive right on the Dead Sea.

Besides Air Canada canceling our flights the first day, and having a struggle to even get to Israel, it was a great experience. We were under the impression that we would get picked up at the airport by a hotel shuttle (which didn't happen) so we had to end up renting a car and driving in the dark 1 hour and 45 minutes in a foreign country in the middle of nowhere. As far as the hotel goes, not many speak English, but we got by okay with that. The food was good, nice pool, good location not to far from a mall that the hotel shuttles you to. (Even though it was full a lot and we ended up walking 45 minutes one way). Staff at hotel friendly, tourists rude. Also, anyone from the US, the outlets are different than ours, so we had to purchase an adapter at the mall to charge our phones and electronics. We also had a hard time finding English speaking tours. That's it in a nutshell.

Cons:
Understaffed, mediocre food at best. Took over an hour to get someone to pick up the phone. Hotel is a bit outdated and could use some renovating. Not enough elevators. We didn't use the spa but it was very crowded. You can hear everything in the hallway while inside the rooms.

Overall the hotel is decent but definitely overpriced. If you enjoy unlimited quantities of mediocre food and booze then you will definitely be satisfied. If you don't enjoy the food then you are paying a lot of money for an average hotel with a good location.

Accommodating staff, drinks available in various places across all included, liked the room but I changed last minute because I wanted 2 separate beds rather than one big, took them time to arrange the switch, second room smelled terrible from smoke, also the day of checkout there was a blackout for a minute that caused all cards to stop working had to wait in the line to activate only to hear that have to wait another 20 minutes for that which was disappointing since I needed to catch my flight, also found that check in counter is understaffed, but overall was a very nice stay, nice room and balcony to sea and pool, mattress not too comfortable, but still liked the experience, would recommend to book at least for two days to be able to enjoy the sea and All amenities which is best when day is on mostly in early morning and afternoon hours.

Staff not qualifyed,rude. Relationship manager Olga at 6 pm when have been advised that the room that was given the key had other people in said Wait you are not special

Expedia paid for your room so the room we get it's the worth dirties rooms in the hotel. The rooms are so dirty that we end up going to other hostel and paid their direct

They made us believe that they only 3 stars hotel and don't want Expedia to pay or book in their hotel

We will never go there oven for free

Good hotel

We were pleased with the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel has a lot of amenities, including free snacks ( Popsicles, pizza, cakes, etc.) and drinks for all. The breakfast and dinner (included in price for free) were plentiful and good. There are shows and activities through the day. If you're coming with kids to the area, I recommend the hotel. If you are without kids, I'd suggest a different hotel. The hotel is very much geared towards families.

Disappointed

Handle broke for door to balcony. Lock to room did not work either. We were locked out. Could not check out until repair done. No drain in bathroom and shower water went flooding into our room. Desk clerk did not give us a renovated room. Also, this is a place for kids and families. Staff did not tell us that. Place is only good for families. Beach is good as no rocks.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to mention Kochav and Jonathan. They were very helpful in an issue we had with the rental company.
Both of them were very kind and hospitable.
The food was great. The room cleaning needs improvement. They should use less spray.

Bad smells everywhere

First of all, I made my reservation through Expedia and it was written that the payment includes taxes and fees but I was surprised at the hotel that I have to pay the tax one more time, also there was a bad smell near the swimming pool, bad smell at the corridors, the service stuff speaks loudly and shouting to each other. The dead sea was nice, enjoyed swimming at the pool, the room was clean and nice.

Declining standards of housekeeping and maintence

Our delux sea view room was in bad condition and dirty but we were upgraded to a suite which was much better apart from shower which did not work very well(very low pressure).
House keeping staff were very inefficient and did not clear room properly ,did not provide clean tea/coffee cups after use,did not replenish tea/coffee or toilet rolls until pressed to do so,did not clean the balcony floor and table at all.Have stayed in this hotel many times before but was very disappointed with housekeeping and maintenance standards for what is supposed to be a 5x hotel
