The staff were excellent! The room was very clean. There was lots of light coming through the window. The view was nice as well. There is a nice pool, sauna, and gym in the hotel. Breakfast was nice. The hotel is walking distance to a mall, shopping center, restaurants, grocery stores, a vegetable market, and the bus station. I highly recommend this hotel.

Reception area was with bad smell , the attendant wanted to charge me for the stay but his manager told him not to do so....
They chrge for parking and you have free parking just in front of the hotel. Abit old but good for the price

The AC wasn't working and in the summer , this is no luxury! I was told to open the window, but it was still hot and lots of mosquitos came in.
In the morning, there were no hot water to shower.
Other than that, the room is good.

Beautiful stay in a good area

The hotel staff at check-in was not very friendly and the room did not have air conditioning. Besides that, the stay was comfortable and clean. The hotel charges extra fees for breakfast.

המזגן במלון מכוון או לחום או לקור. לאורח אין כל אפשרות לבחור מה הוא רוצה. במקרה שלנו, היה יום חם והמזגן היה על חום. פנינו למלון אבל \"אין מה לעשות. ככה זה\". עד הערב היה סיוט בחדר המהביל.
בחדרים אין מרפסת, הקירות דקים מאד ושומעים כל מה שקורה בחדרים סמוכים ובמסדרון. בחדר האמבטיה יש אמבטיה עם וילון . האמבטיה צרה מאד ומכיוון שיש גם מעקה אחיזה לנגישות (שזה אחלה), זה לא משאיר מקום נח להתקלח. אולי רק אם אתה ממש רזה. בסה\"כ, אנחנו לא נהנינו ולא נחזור לשם.

Hotel had what we needed, yes it's dated but they don't hide it, it's noticeable in the photos. You're not paying for four or five star.
Parking is convenient, it's super easy to find, plenty to eat in walking distance, perfect for a night stopover.

Climbing Masada From It's Western Approach-Voila!

We wanted to climb Masada from its western approach, so this was a great base. The hotel was very comfortable, and one would hardly know that it was Passover from the wide variety of food at the breakfast buffet. Some years ago we stayed here. It served us well then and on this recent visit.

And why because in the pictures it looks beautiful but the hotel is dirty not clean small rooms
Dining room is horrible
The food with the right 7
I called for emergency no one was at the reception I had to go downstairs and some of the employees call the ambulance it was horrible not to have anyone answering the phone avoid with all prices this hotel

Average hotel in southern Israel

This particular place was a last hotel choice available to attend an agricultural conference in the are of south central Israel. It was a place I found online and booked a few days before my stay. For the price, I give this hotel a C or average, maybe a C+ at best. Since I had very limilted time and searching all the various options within a 50 mile area, it was the best option in the area. There is free parking across the street but the parking lot was nearly full most of the time. The hotel does have on site parking behind the hotel for an additional charge but this parking area was nearly full. Most annoying was during the both overnight stays, a garbage truck and smaller parking lot cleaner started at about six in the morning making quite a bit of noise. I spent two nights at the hotel . There are a few gas stations relatively close and a fruit stand within about 100 meter walking distance. The resturant was average along with the bar area. I did not go to the bar so I have no comment on the service provided in this regard. The breakfast that came with the hotel was very marginal at best and the service was not that great either. No one was really there when we entered the resturant so I had to seat myself but after reviewing the food selection I decided just to get coffee and bypass the breakfast option completely. The check in procedure on the first night was an average wait time and the check out time on the final morning was better than average.

Nice hotel and Kibbutz like dinning room

Nice Friendly hotel but no porters to help with baggage NOT GOOD for disable people. Wonderful dinning room and the food was first class. The room was basic with no refrigerator or microwave but clean. A great place to stay on route from Eilat to Tel Aviv. Also near by car parking and supermarket and a laundry close by that will pick up and deliver and changes by the Kilo.

Picked this hotel because it was affordable and close to Masada. I checked in on Shabbat and was expecting a quite night of uploading photos. The hotel promised free wifi. When I got to my room, neither my phone nor laptop saw a WiFi network. Also, in the shower I found hair on the wall, and the circuit breaker made a buzzing noise all night.

The hotel was not worth what I paid for it, but if you need a bare basic place, Masada is only 40 minutes away.

You can do better...

I stayed for 4 nights. Hotel is really dirty. Only thing that was clean in the room was towels and bed. And I tried to focus on that. I looked at other rooms same thing...Internet only works in lobby. I think the hotel owner is banking on the point that his is the only facility that is around so I think he doesn't care if the rooms are seriously outdated and dirty. The staff is very nice and helpful really tried to help me with reservations and questions. So that was a plus but the facility needs serious attention. If I had a choice I wouldn't stay here again.

Alone in a forgotten city

We came in a stormy night in the winter, we were the only guests in the hotel. We took the suite, it was wide and comfi. They didn't open the pool or dining room since there were only us, very disappointing for the kids. Nice and warm atmosphere. City is beautyful but not developed.

Ok. Convenient but not amazing.

25/30 min drive to Dead Sea. Convenient location. The pool is catered towards children and don't come here expecting a nice pool. Rooms are alright. Staff are miserable. Breakfast was nice but nothing special.

Convenient for sunrise at Masada, not much around

Hotel was nice on the outside. Inside the rooms were very small dirty and dingy. The breakfast was very nice enough food to eat for both breakfast and lunch as well. The hotel was about 30 minutes from Masada and the drive was scary since we did it in the dark. We got there safely and climbed up Masada during sunrise. A nice experience. Find a closer and cleaner hotel but if you need to stay here lower your expectations quite a bit. Hope this is helpful.

A dump in the desert. Good location to sights

Hotel was extremely dirty and depressing. It's location is good due to the proximity to the Dead Sea and Masada if you want to avoid the high prices of resorts on the Dead Sea. I had to switch rooms the first night because it was filthy - did not appear vacuumed, smears on mirrors, and sheets were not very clean. Service was rude and unhelpful.

About a 20 min exciting drive up from the Dead Sea

Arad is a pleasant town with more to do than being tied to the resort hotels of the Dead Sea area. The Hotel is easy to find as you enter Arad and is what it is in terms of a 3 star hotel. Rooms are small, clean and simple. Parking is across the street and is free. There is a secure entrance and free wi-fi that only works in the lobby. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. The price was affordable and makes sense for travelers on a budget. A double bed is really 2 singles pushed together.

One thing NOT to do if heading to Massada enroute to elsewhere is to take the back road from Arad. There is no connection to the main highway of 90 and it is a LONG and WINDING road back to Arad!

Good alternative for Dead Sea experience

This hotel offers all you expect from hotel service
Much cheaper than big names down the Sea
We had our car though, not very close some 20km away from the Beach
Inbar located literally at the top.of the climb from -400m at the Sea to +500m, I had not realized the road was a climb and drop that much
Very nice scenery by the way

hotel.com has let me down. I have called and talked to employees and management, and none of the 7 people I've spoken to have followed up with me after say they would. The location of the Hotel was in a wrong area from where we wanted to be, and was not suited for Jewish patrones
