Access to the Dead Sea was good , apart from one thing, they need to look at the rotating doors to the sea .they are not smooth functioning and with a push did had a sudden move which hit my elderly mum
They need to seriously change that or it is dangerous
The breakfast was good but the coffee was not. dinner was average

Great view.. Spacious suite.
Very comfortable.
The kids club was small and not insulated well (too cold/hot).
The rain went through the roof. But didn't affect our stay.. Classic Crown Plaza (previous owner).
Our town was cozy and warm.
The sound insulation in the room was poor, as we could hear the neighbors pretty well.

Positive: food at the buffet restaurant was good, but overpriced. Convenient to the beach, just a few steps away.
Negative: room was in a dated shape, run down,
furniture had lots of damage and in a terrible condition, like a max 2 star hotel,
even elevator looks terrible with holes in the wooden walls and damadlge all over.
My toilet wouldnt flush, i had to wait all night until late morning for staff to come over and check it, but they couldnt fix, I was not offered to change my room. Bathtub had a long black hair stuck on the wall, i waited to see if it will be cleaned, but it was not for 3 days of my stay. Bathtub was very slippery, but there was no rubber mat provided. Hotel is non smoking, but next room (824) had people smoking on the balcony all the time, and smoke traveled into my room (825). Overall, hotel needs a lot of work to be 4 star they claim to be. I'd rate it 2 to 3 stars, no way a 4. I rented 3 rooms for our party and everyone had same comments of dissatisfaction.

The staff at the dining room and at the lobby resturant where so great and helpfull, The main thing food was bad, its not only the hotel but in the whole area, front desk staff were good but not that friendly. The area of the swimming pool is clean.
The room itself was in a good situation the housekeeping were polite and did great job but the room is too old
In average the price is too too high for what you get, it should be less than what I paid

We were given a room which was old and run down. Furniture was falling apart. It didn't look at all like the pictures on your website. We complained and were moved to a much better room on a high floor. Dinner on Thursday was terrible. The food was not fresh. Breakfast is ok. Dinner on Friday night was great. The sulfur pool is not included. It's an extra charge at this hotel. Convenient beach access. Nice beach. Nice pools. Great views from the rooms. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, maybe not even a 4 star...

We got a room on the top floor (12) and our room was perfect! Amazing view of Dead Sea from the balcony. Sunrise was absolutely gorgeous. Bed with huge and very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and convenient. Dinner and breakfast buffet where good. Staff seems to be in training and was not super helpful. Pool and beach are very nice. Unfortunately it close very early. I think best time to enjoy pool when sun is down. Please consider keeping it open longer.

Good place to stay by the Dead See

One of the best places to stay by the Dead Sea. The place is pricy, but it's worth it. The high costs includes the full meal option, but you want find a lot of other option around in the middle of a desert. So, if you want to have a worry-free vacation there, it's worth to pay extra. The hotel is right on the beach and has all ameneties that you need. Two down sides. First, the parking is almost non-existing there. You will be sent for off-site parking whis is almost always full. Be aware that people there don't know how to part and will occupy a double space. Second issue that free tea/coffee (included in the price) were only avalibale for a breakfast. If you want to have tea/coffee after breakfast time, that was extra. That was a bit annoying giving how much we paid for that place. Despite that, I recommend this place for a stay at Dead Sea

Know that though parking is free, it is off site. The hotel provides a shuttle to get you to your car.
The hotel and the grounds were clean and well kept.
For us, besides the view from our room, the best part was easy and direct access to the Dead Sea whenever we wanted to take a dip.

Very short walk past the hotel swimming pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent the choices were vast. Not much outside the hotel. Small shopping mall but that’s not why you come here.

Perfect hotel for the Dead Sea

This is the best hotel to stay in if you’re visiting the Dead Sea. We stayed for one night on our honeymoon, we booked a gorgeous room with a balcony and sea view that did not disappoint. The swimming pool was lovely, plenty of sun loungers and we were right on the hotels private beach which had a gorgeous lagoon that you could float in.

Front desk check in was very unpleasant… the receptionist was rude and unsmiling. Needed to change rooms due to unpleasant smell and draws that were not working properly, also balcony window door was very hard to open. In the new Room, floors dirty, Pillows very lumpy! Bathroom toilet needed to press it several times to flush it, the bath too high to get in and out of and the aircon that didn’t work properly. The lift didn’t work and we got stuck. I could go on…. I will never go to the hotel again!

I discovered that your site took me about NIS 400 agent fee between the price paid to the hotel and the price I paid, 17% agent fee, I understand the business world and the agent fee but in my opinion it is too big a money risk so not me and of course not recommend For orders through your website. Overall we enjoyed our stay. What we did not like was the food. It good have been much better . The dinner buffet was large but most of it was fair at best. The hotel , pools , beach , rooms ,views and setting and other facilities were excellent .The front desk at check in and out were superb ! During the winter off-season it's a great deal. The hotel include a large spa area with salt pool, jacuzzi and sauna. There is an exit to the beach of the dead sea which is warm enough to enter and float nearly all year around.

Had a very bad experience. The swimming pool was closed because it rained 2 days before that. Needless to say, but i called 3 neighboring hotels and they all had their swimming pools open. Also we were there with our 12 year old son, but they refused to give a bathrobe, because \"we don't provide bathrobes for children\". The front desk, was also very rude / unprofessional, when asking about local attractions etc, their response was \"don't know\" to every question.

Amazing view , wow , hotel nearly right on the beach, couldn’t get enough of the view . Beautiful area, comfortable stay. Could do with slippers provided , place was clean, excellent food selection and really good breakfast staff, had my coffe made as soon as I walked in . Lovely outdoor and indoor pool as well as jacuzzi . Would highly recommend and definitely stay in the same hotel again , for a longer period this time

Ti dicono che puoi andare in spiaggia o in piscina ma non ti dicono dove cambiarti dove lasciare i vestiti ecc.
Accesso alla piscina coperta solo per gli adulti, io ho un ragazzo di quasi 13 anni che con una giornata di pioggia e freddo è dovuro stare in camera.
Manca una piscina coperta per i bambini.

Requests not met for dining, bathrooms or parking

The Crowne Plaza is very well situated to explore the surrounding Masada, Ein Gedi and areas, on way to Eilat.
It is wonderful to have the Dead Sea on your doorstep and made the stay worthwhile.
Unfortunately, restaurant staff would not allow us to charge our dinners to our room, even though we had deposited a large amount to cover incidentals. That held up our entry as well as dozens of other guests.
Also, we requested a special needs room, but could only obtain a regular room with a shower over the bath. My wife could therefore not use the bathroom facilities to their fullest over our two day stay there.
Finally, the parking facilities are terrible. The staff in that area are not very caring or helpful.
When a bus arrived, and we were unloading our vehicle, the aggressivness of the passengers, bus driver and parking attendants was the worst I have seen in all my travels.
This is not a hotel that caters adequately for parking of cars.

There is hardly any parking at this hotel, when we asked the security guard where we should Park he showed no concern or care at all and he just said that we should find street parking.
Our room wasn't ready and we were told that they'll call us when it is. They never did, even when it was ready.
Everyone seem to be so inattentive and ignorant of the guests. Very disappointing!
There toilets in our room don't flush either, otherwise the facilities are ok, outdated but for the most part get the job done. The beach is good and the pool is nice, they just need to fix their customer service, which is terrible

Very disappointing service by the front desk staff. They treated us as second-rate guests because we made the booking on Hotels.com instead of through IHG, of which I am also a Rewards Club member. It took 4 hours plus a call to the Duty Manager just to get a pair of throw-away slippers and a meagerly late checkout (1 pm instead of 11 am).
I slipped coming out of the bathroom due to the angle of the floor tiles and injured my hand and all the hotel did was offer me a free lunch or coffee, both of which I declined. I just wanted to leave the property already and take the next bus out.
This was supposed to be a relaxing visit, but the attitude of the front desk staff ruined it for us.

Also, the hotel lobby bar closes at 10:30 pm so we could not even have the complimentary glass of wine they offered after we returned from dinner.

The air-conditioning barely cooled the room.
We ordered breakfast to our room, the food was very old, we could not eat it.
On the first day we got two water bottles, we were told we can refill them using a cooler outside the room. The water tasted terrible.

Bad staff ruined my trip

We went there by bus, so from the direction we couldn't find the entrance of hotel. We tried to get in from the beach as it was connected. However, we were stopped by the security even we showed him our check-in information. We had to go to the other side, climbing on the ramp (for cars) with our heavy luggage under 30 degrees celsius!!! After we reached the lobby, the staff told us the room wasn't ready and we had to wait for another 10-15 mins. They were liar as it showed 24 hrs check-in from the description!! Later on, when we got in the room, it was already 3:10. And I realized that we missed the last bus to Ein Gedi national park as last entrance was 4 PM!!!!!! I was very upset because our plan was ruined and the money was wasted. I would suggest them to change the description and improve the efficiency for check-in. The only good thing was the private beach.
