A wonderful place to base yourself in the Hunter Valley that provides a very comfortable stay.

The villa has a nice outlook over the mountains but is a bit far from Pokolbin and Cessnock. We were also a bit disconcerted that the bathroom wall did not go all the way t the ceiling.

Very comfortable bed with quality linen. Extra towels provided. Great swimming pool but would be good if they added a few more pool chairs and umbrellas. We couldn’t use the pool one day as other guests had claimed all the shade! Breakfast was provided (bacon, eggs & English muffins) Would have appreciated muesli, yoghurt & fruit option. There is a Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine, but we didn’t like the coffee it made! Would prefer a plunger. Mosquitoes were bad when we were there, but we had taken insect repellent and fly spray was provided. Nice, but very small bathroom. Only a very tiny washbasin and no-where to put toiletries. The bathroom rubbish bin hadn’t been emptied from previous guests. Thankfully not much in there but still not ideal. A/C is very effective for living area, but even with the fans on we struggled to cool the upper sleeping area on the very hot days.

I loved everything about this property! It was immaculately clean, very comfortable sofas and outdoor settings. Absolutely beautiful views from the deck and very quiet. We were there in winter and we were warm and toasty, loads of hot water. The log fire made it very special! And they were so thoughtful in the little things: they left coffee pods, teas and milk, bacon and eggs, toast and spreads, plenty of wood, extra blankets. We felt very well cared for and literally minutes from cellar doors and shops. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed this property close to everything nice and clean breakfast included had a great little break only downfall we found was you couldn't watch the tv from the bed the toilet is very loud and we wherent able to use the fire place because it wasnt winter but it was raining and a small fire would have been great. Maybe the propertly could look at the weather conditions and leave wood in if its a rainy day instead of just not being able to use it at all.

The stay at the Wine Country Villas was phenomenal. The parking area is located right in-front of the Villas, which is quite convenient. We got few photos of kangaroos and birds out on the deck. Very generous of the Villa owners to provide bacon and eggs in the fridge for breakfast plus bread, drink etc. Overall, the stay was very great, and my family highly recommend staying in Wine Country Villas.

Lots of “do’s and dont’s” with the accommodation but not much in the way of guides or pointers for the region. The views aren’t great, but it’s a pleasant enough spot. For a weekend away this was was the PERFECT villa for us. Modern yet cosy with a wood fireplace, yummy bacon and eggs and English muffins provided for breakfast, juice and all other condiments, this spotless villa had every creature comfort we could ask for!! The set up was perfect, view was amazing, breakfast and amenities were incredibly generous. We spent most of the time on the deck, despite a few annoying flies (especially in the mornings), to the background music of bellbirds and kookaburras. The kids had a ball in the \"big back yard\" and saw kangaroos, ducks with baby ducklings and galahs. And the housekeeper was really friendly and helpful. Really couldn't fault.
