Hotel designed for locals to scape to. They are not used to having international guests. There was very limited English spoken or understood by staff, strict Kosher and Shabot practices, several small things missing you’d expect from a high end international hotel like easy access room service, online restaurant menus, online or printed out complete activities schedule, and general service availability hours posted.

Room 319 , Franco. The stay was very nice. Two issues you should know about. First the bathtub drain is clogged and when taking a shower water accumulates and drains very slowly. After a shower there was 5 inches of water. that's something that housekeeping should have seen and reported to maintenance. When we where leaving, I was standing by the front desk that manager asked if he could help me. I said that yes I needed to pay for my massage and I wanted yo speak to him about the tub and another matter involving the increase in tax. He told me to pay first because there was no line and he would be right back. I did pay and he never came back to speak with me. I ask the front desk person and said he didn't know where he went and didn't seen to want to help me locate him. I never was able to speak with him. this is a stain on my stay and it's your issue now I trust you will address it accordingly. Thank you, Steven Franco

The place sure has a luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, good sound insulation, and great view. A big variety at the breakfast buffet, the eggs are served per order (We had the poached eggs Benedict), deserts are somewhat disappointing. Dinner is a different story, As my wife does not eat any sea products including fish, the variety of meat options was very limited for a hotel of its high class. The meat dishes were tasteless, unseasoned and unless requested, were all at rare doneness state. Overall, the dinner was not worth neither the experience nor the price.

Most relaxing stay. Friendly service. Excellent food, grounds and spa. After an unavoidable small accident at breakfast, staff rushed to assist, note details. Hotel security and the PR manager Jacob took notes and were extremely attentive to feedback even refunding the breakfast charge and giving us a small gift when we checked out. Impressive?

We paid a lot of money to stay in the hotel and the spa was full so we didn’t have the chance to use it. If we should have called first that’s ok but no one let us know.
Furthermore, the air conditioning didn’t work all night and the room was very hot so we couldn’t sleep well. We expected to have a much better experience compering to the amount of money we paid.

The hotel is lovely, with world class spa facilities and two very nice outdoor pools. The rooms are modern. Breakfast was wonderful and lunch high quality. The free wine tasting program was a nice feature. My only complaint is that we requested two beds in our room which consisted of a queen size bed separated into two small twins. Otherwise, we thought our stay was lovely and we would go back.

Our room was very quickly organized (not cleaned) every morning. Dust and crumbs on the floor from when we arrived were still there at day 3. I had to request the staff for vacuum.

Found a hair in my fish dish at the restaurant. And additional hair in my room - including in an empty coffee cup prior to making a coffee in my room.
The last hour before our check-out the staff heavily pressured us to leave the room. They came to our room 4 times in the last hour asking us to leave. We were not late, left our room at the time we were supposed to.
I definitely feel the value for money is not there.

This is supposed to be one of Isrotel's premier hotels. To my mind it does not compare to Yaarot haCarmel.
First off, no one answered the phone when we tried to call the hotel to confirm our reservation and to get information.
The room was upscale, big tub, outdoor sitting area, decent bed, great pillows. They charge for movies; there is a big selection. Nice minibar.
Nice bar with live music at night.
Shabbat Key and Kettle/Urn available.
Nice big indoor and outdoor pools; two jaccuzzis. 20 spa rooms. Sauna, Turkish Hammam. We didn't try the spa, so I cannot comment on it.
About two thirds of the staff were great; the other third were cold or unfriendly as opposed to Yaarot haCarmel where *EVERYONE* makes you feel like a king and queen.
The biggest problem was the food. You pay a lot for the food component and expect it to be spectacular. The hotel and overall experience are great. Starting from check in to Check out. The room was clear and specious (we took the deluxe room), almost all rooms have a small balcony that faces the view of the mountains - very nice view. The amenities are good and sufficient including robes and slip-slopes for each person. The Spa is good with 3 pools, 2 outside and one heated inside plus 2 Jacuzzi's . Breakfast is amazing with so many things to choose from that you need more than one to try it all:-).
We did not eat dinner this time but last time I stayed it was great. We drove to Jerusalem for dinner - 20 min drive and well worth the time as there are very good places in the city.

the checkin was fast, we stayed at the pool untill we got the room, the room was very comfortable and clean, however, the bathroom door was not completely closed, and kept on open by itself..

Great anniversary stay!
Everything, from the pillows to the shower/bath to the pools was 5-star. Also the clientele - all Israelis of course- were unusually quiet and pleasant. So a very relaxing anniversary stay!

Everything was wonderful. The staff were very helpful. Two things - the screens on the exercise machines didn't work so well, and there weren't as many TV channels as it said. Also, a \"Do not disturb\" sign would have been great - as lovely as it was to have the staff knocking and asking if we needed more towels or soap, they did it twice while I was resting - once someone even unlocked the door from the outside!!
On the plus side - everything else was perfect, and the indoor pool is the best I've ever been to.

After a busy week in Tel Aviv, we stayed at the Cramim Resort for 2 nights.It's a peaceful location close to Jerusalem. The taxi fare to the city cost between 120 - 170 shekels depending on the traffic (15-30 mins). The hotel was lovely with a great breakfast buffet. We enjoyed a massage and were credited the VAT on check out.
