Cool hip Barcelona hotel. Very attractive entrance, lobby and rooms. The breakfast buffet is awesome, only thing missing is smoked salmon. Little pet peeve: no body lotion in the bathroom!

The room was in ok condition - cleaners are honestly doing a great job , however , no hand or body lotion ! Two people stayed and only one toothbrush ? Strange , but ok.

Room seemed cold at 21 degrees , no option on putting this higher.Half of sockets didnt work and lamps near tv side had no light bulbs :)

I am a member at hotels.com and expedia and website shows clear benefits on stay that hotel is not aware of , team seems unfriendly and unprofessional!

If weather wont be great - renting an umbrella seems to be impossible.

Staff dont know the area at all - unable to order taxi or suggest restaurant! Offered a free drink but impossible to order one because bartender was busy with other things ! Wont come back and wont suggest for others

Above all, we were extremely disappointed by the lack of basic service and communication during our stay.

When we requested new towels, we were informed that no housekeeping staff were on site and were asked to wait 30 minutes. This was inconvenient and unacceptable for a hotel stay.
In addition, there was no wine opener provided in the room. When we contacted the front desk, we were told to purchase one ourselves at a nearby 7-Eleven. The following day, when we asked to borrow a wine opener from the bar, we were told to bring our bottle to the bar for opening instead. These responses were unhelpful and reflected a clear lack of guest-oriented service.

Furthermore, I had VIP access through Hotels.com, which included benefits such as a complimentary beverage. However, these VIP benefits were never mentioned or explained at check-in or at any point during our stay. As a result, we were unable to use benefits that we were clearly entitled to.

Taken together, these issues significantly impacted our experience and did not meet the standards we expect from a property listed on Hotels.com, especially considering the advertised VIP benefits.

We respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate compensation or resolution be considered.

We had a wonderful stay at The Corner Hotel. The reception staff were extremely friendly. Our room was beautiful, well appointed, extremely comfortable. We stayed in a superior room with great views. Breakfast was vast and delicious. Area is very upscale, with most sights within walking distance. Loved our stay and will repeat later in the year upon our return to Barcelona.

The air conditioner would stop after a certain time (although according to the hotel staff the fifth floor had an issue and gave us the chance to switch rooms… we kindly declined, as it was too much hassle to move and after checking the new room the AC seemed the same to me.
The shower’s water pressure was extremely minimal, and it took a long time to adjust the temperature.

The wi-fi had to be reconnected multiple times during a single day.

The worst was the cleaning crew, they did very superficial cleaning, you could still see dust in some spaces. My wife is allergic to dust, and she was having a very bad time.
Also, they never restocked regular coffee (only decaffeinated).
One day they didn’t even supply toilet paper, so we had to ask for one at the front desk.
We stayed for 7 nights, and they never changed the sheets, we replace more often at home.

The hotel needs some TLC, it might have been beautiful many years ago, but the maintenance is very poor.

If it wasn’t for the friendly staff (big shout out to Erica) and the location, this hotel would have an even worse review.

Amazing location, super friendly staff (shout out to Nathalie at the front desk - she was outstanding!) The breakfast buffet was also great (and opens early if you’re hungry before 9am). Only suggestion there would be to serve fresher food (they put out the same carrot cake 3 days after n a row which clearly wasn’t popular). Would stay there again!

The hotel looked impressive at first glance, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations. For the price, I think there are better options in the city. The bathroom had mold in the caulking and shower, and even after asking staff to address it, nothing was done. The AC was weak during the day and only cooled properly at night, likely because of the outdoor temperature. The location is decent within Eixample, but depending on where you want to be, you might find more convenient spots. Overall, my stay was okay — but with so many hotels in Barcelona at a similar price point, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

The location was good, with easy access to public transport. Reception was pleasant at arrival and departure. The room itself was comfortable but was a little dusty and tired. Coffee and milk was not replenished daily and we had to ask, on top of some toilet paper replacement! Basic essentials seemed to be looked over. Towels were changed frequently but on our last day we were given several stained ones. The reception area was well kept but never any staff on the bar and was always empty. Overall a decent place to stay but wouldn’t say it was 4 stars.

Some of the staff could have been a bit more accommodating. Got refused when we asked to have a broken umbrella switched out on a sunny afternoon or to grab a water from the lobby bar which seemed like reasonable requests.

This was our second visit to this hotel, and we would highly recommend it. Stylish, in a convenient location and with very helpful staff. In particular, we appreciated the white bedlinen being changed every day and in general the room was refreshed to a very high standard. The live music on Thursday evening in the lounge was excellent-a very talented performer who created a great atmosphere with a relaxing vibe. One small suggestion- although the rooftop pool and area are excellent, we would have appreciated some sun umbrellas as the only small covered area was for table use rather than lounging. Overall, a wonderful hotel that we would recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Fantastic hotel right in heart of Barcelona. AC works like no other hotel i've stayed in in Barcelona. Super funky large rooms, I highly recommend this hotel. Have stayed here many times now. Staff are fantastic, speak perfect English can't do enough for you. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
