This was our first hotel of our 11 day trip. Our room was not very cool despite having the a/c on. It was clean, but the rooms seemed a bit old. It was very confident to everything, and lots of restaurants around there .

Pleasant and modern

A nice modern hotel in the Eixample neighborhood. The room was exactly as picture. Close enough to Passeig de Gracia and Placa Catalunya to walk--even Sagrada Familia with a little bit of effort.
We enjoyed the huge window with a view of the courtyard and a little playground.
It was good having coffee in the room, too, something that we did not find everywhere we stayed. Did not use the minibar, but appreciated the fridge.
Not being Europeans, we found the shower controls a bit challenging to figure out, but eventually got it.
The staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel, albeit a bit dated. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from outside and other rooms. Staff were nice and accommodate any requests. But the room was definitely not completely clean on my arrival and had some water on the floor where they may have mopped. Not bad but for the money you pay definitely expect more. This is more like a 3 star hotel.

The hotel boasts a great location, conveniently within walking distance to two iconic Gaudi houses, making it ideal for exploring the area. However, some male receptionists at the front desk may not provide the friendliest service, which can detract from the overall experience. Despite this, the hotel’s proximity to attractions and amenities is a significant advantage for visitors.

One day there were plumbing issues, the water stopped working for a moment and then the water coming out of the shower/tub and bathroom sink were brown and then blue. It didn’t last long, they fixed the issue but that was concerning. Overall the hotel was nice, large rooms, nice decor and in a convenient area. Friendly staff. Very walkable.

I felt cold air at the entrance of the room, but not in the room. It was not cooled well.
Daytime was OK, but people were loud outside and finally started to fight on the street at 2 am, then police came. It was hard to sleep.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was great for what I needed it for. Definitely not worth the price I paid.
Only complaint about the property was that the shower did not work correctly and the shower head was installed on the side wall (not at the end wall of the shower), and pointing at the shower curtain. Had excellent water pressure, so you know were all the water immediately ended up when I turned on the shower... all over the bathroom.

The staff at Evenia were very cordial during the entire stay. They were very responsive on the app and made sure our late checkin was done smoothly. Room service were on point. The location of the hotel is also very close by to lot of nice brunch places and local bars which is a plus

The hotel was clean and convenient to the city and area. A bit loud overnight, part of being so central to so much. We only stayed one night but the hotel had everything we needed for our two rooms. There was a delicious brunch spot next door. Would have loved to stay longer!

The room was clean they only problem with this hotel is that you can hear everything. You can hear next door, above and possibly below. We had a group of girls / kids making noise at un godly hours for 2 nights. They could of been above or next door it was so loud. They need somehow sound proof the place.

The staff are very friendly and eager to help. The rooms, however (specifically 7th floor) are not up to a standard - the sound isolation is non existant (constant noise produced by the elevator keeps you up at night), the beds and pillows are quite uncomfortable and the bathrooms do need an update.

The hotel met our expectations per location , cleanliness and quietness of the facility. The restaurant was nice and the 3 course meal was reasonably priced. The room was fine with decor and facilities. The toiletries could have been better instead of the micro bottles. The bar could have been stocked better. Otherwise its a great hotel. Step outside the istanbul grill provided great choice of bhindi the Indian delicacy and after days of eating out, that seemed to be delicious. Centrally located , i would recommend the hotel

A mixed experience

Our standard three bed room for three adults turned out to be a twin room with a child sized roll out bed. We arrived at night and I queried the person at reception about the room as I the bed set up was quite different to the photos online. He shrugged and said that is what the room is and there is nothing he could do. We went to sleep and person on the bed who is quite short and her feet stuck out the end of the bed and had an awful sleep. In the morning I queried the front desk again as there was a different (friendlier!) member of staff and she thankfully transferred us to a family room where there were adult sized beds for all. The beds were quite hard and the room was quite stuffy as the air conditioning didn’t work. The shower head was loose with a mind of its own so you couldn’t turn it on full power. The hotel does have free WiFi which is helpful and the location is great with some good amenities around it.

Unfortunately we did not get one of the newer renovated rooms, the room we were given was a bit dated, had a bit of an odour and the AC was not working. Staff checked it, but it only managed to blow warm air. The beds were big and comfortable which was a plus, great area. The breakfast was pretty awful, not worth the addition. Definitely recommend skipping the breakfast and eating outside the hotel, so many great breakfast/brunch spots in this area. Overall average stay for price.

Great stay for a few nights away in Barcelona. Very close to the main attractions. Check in time was ideal as well. Only negative comment I’d say is that the Air Con could of been a lot ‘better’. I set the air con on the coldest setting however, it could of been a lot more cooler.

Generally everything was as it should be with a 4* hotel. Reception was quick and easy. The room was clean and well appointed so it was little things that got noticed: There was a selection of teas and decaf coffee, but no 'normal coffee and only two small creamer pots. The sealant around the bath was not terrible, but was showing signs of needing replacing; The shower temperature was not constant; some of the TV channels didn't work. I was only there for one night. So, nothing to put me off

Nice hotel but it was stuffy in the room since the heater was on for the entire building and each room doesn’t have the functionality to control its own temperature. Walls are thin so if the other guest are loud talkers, you can hear everything. Staff were great and very helpful.

Stay was excellent, other than the noise from the street. I’m staying in a hotel in Madrid on the 2nd floor on the street and I cannot hear it. I was on the fourth in Barcelona and it often sounded like they were in my bed. Not sure anything can be done about this. Other than that. Clean, very helpful and friendly staff.

Very large room by European standards. Very modern artistic decor carried throughout the rooms and common areas. Breakfast was excellent and looked like a work of art. Location was close to Metro station and the upper end of Rambla and Gaudi houses. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We stayed two nights at the hotel Evenia Rossello in Barcelona. It was a convenient location to walk to the Sagrada Família Basilica, Park Güell and many lovely shops and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful during our stay. The rooms were clean and well supplied and the hotel breakfast was very nice.

its a nice 3* hotel NOT a 4*...

No way that this is a 4* hotel, it’s a 3*.... the hotel is nice and clean, staff are very helpful. The rooms are small and the mattresses are not the best, they are ok, that’s the reason they cannot be a 4*. Also if you have a car be aware that they do not have parking garage, or valet, you have to find on your on and that can be a challenge....first night I had to pay €16 in a parking garage 2 blocks from the hotel and on my second night I founded a park spot on the streets 1 block from the hotel.

A safe bet

Conveniently located near the Diagonal metro station, we were very happy with our 3 night stay here. Our room had twin beds and air conditioning and faced onto the garden at the back. The gym has a treadmill and three bicycles - just enough for some brief exercise. Breakfast was average and after the first day w e chose to have breakfast in one of the nearby cafe’s. There were several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Would definitely return.
