My friend and I stayed here. We each had our own rooms. The hotel is conveniently located near major tourist attractions; however, it's on a quieter street, which is nice. I booked this hotel because I stayed at their sister property in Ohio about a year ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t like this hotel. It was disappointing, especially compared to my previous experience at the other property. We are Hotels.com Gold members, and as a result, got an upgraded room and were supposed to get a bottle of wine. They only gave us one bottle, not considering that we had two rooms. The “upgraded” rooms themselves were smallish and boring but very clean and comfortable. I needed to print a document, and the hotel refused to print anything over 15 pages. This hotel advertised as a 5-star hotel, so refusing to print more than a 50-page document felt strange. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special. Overall, this hotel is nice, but it’s not a 5-star hotel, perhaps a 3.5 or 4-star, but it’s not luxurious or worth the room rate.

Do not come here and expect a 5 star experience. It’s a 4 star in a great location.

Hotel not the best for travelling with a child - cot was not ready and was told they may not have one until next day, my husband was told he was not allowed to take breakfast up to me after the baby had been awake all night, and they were unable to arrange a taxi transfer with a baby seat despite them saying it was confirmed the day before.

Wonderful facility, staff, pool, location, views. I found the penthouse / Atico terrace suite a little small for 2 people and was underwhelmed by the breakfast but otherwise I couldn’t have been happier with the stay, value, and vibe at the property. I usually stay at casa fuster or a high end apartment in Bcn which I visit once or twice a year at least, this property will be on my shortlist from now on.

I had them book a massage for me the day of my arrival since it would be a few hours before typical check in but they thoughtfully moved me into an available room at 1030 or 11am the day of my arrival which I quite appreciated after flying in overnight. A rare and authentic spirit of hospitality among the staff

The guests staying next to us runined our night. They were partying and making noise. The hotel could not get them under control. They tired but they could not solve the noise problems. When I asked the hotel to comp my last night they did not take me seriously. So we booked another hotel for the rest of our trip.

Our room was not made up in the 3 hours we were our of the hotel, after informing the front desk with the request upon leaving for the day. The overnight room service menú was sub-standard / basically inedible. There should not be an overnight room service menú if they can’t deliver food of a basic standard. Regular room service (before 11pm was great), but the overnight food was not as pictures, cold and favorless.

Couldn’t fault our stay here! Very clean. We had a penthouse/attic with balcony. Room was lovely and spacious. Staff were friendly. Rooms were cleaned each day and each night when we arrived back there had been a biscuit or chocolate left on the pillows. Sky bar and pool area where lovely never too busy and nice to relax there after a long day of walking. Good location too.

We enjoyed our stay at Ohla. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. It was close to shopping and great restaurants. They were helpful with our airport drivers, and helped us with pickup and departing schedules. The sushi restaurant was so wonderful we ate there twice. It was a very relaxing and clean property.

Highly recommend this hotel

This hotel is wonderful! The service is impeccable, starting with the staff at the reception desk, the bellman, to the rooftop server and restaurant servers. The breakfast buffet was amazing with almost any type of food you desired. The rooftop infinity pool was a welcome respite after walking milesand exploring the city every day. The location of the hotel was great and was walkable to many of the cities main attractions. Lots of shops, restaurants, tapas, and wine options to choose from. We were so impressed with every aspect of this hotel but most of all the willingness to help with directions, museum tickets, restaurant recommendations and sight seeing tips from the front desk staff truly set them apart from other hotels. Thank you Ohla Eixample for a wonderful stay in Barcelona. We will be back!

The hotel is located in a popular tourist area we enjoyed. Our only complaint was the seating in the lobby that was too low and uncomfortable. It was a challenge to get up. We were also disappointed in the sushi restaurant. Pool area on top of hotel was very nice. Front desk help was excellent!! Room was very comfortable.

A lovely hotel located in a pleasant neighbourhood with plenty of Bars and Restaurants. Our Room was extremely clean with plenty of space. Service was outstanding and breakfast was a tasty continental buffet with lovely hams and cheese.
The bed room arrangement was a bit odd with a glass partition between the bedroom and the shower/bathroom. It might be an idea to install a curtain particularly if the room wasn't occupied by a couple

Breakfast was excellent, with many different items , however the restaurant at night was quite pricey, and not worth the money, The cafe had limited options for a quick bite, overall this is a superb option to stay inBarcelona

The staff was extremely friendly and ultra attentive to any potential needs, from assisting with luggage, suggesting venues or transportation options, or offering additional amenities for our room. Clean, comfortable bedding.
I would recommend this hotel with one note: we do not know if all the rooms share this concept, but the shower in our room offered no privacy. It was clear glass, visible from the lounging area, walkway to the door and closets, and bath areas. There was a frosted glass wall between the bedroom and shore (odd). If that would make you uncomfortable, be sure to check if another layout option is available.

Mostly everything during our stay was great including the room and the service. Location was super convenient and walkable to lots of places. Though there was some noise from upstairs (maybe or from next door) at night. Sounds like they were moving the furniture. Also note that they didn’t help with your luggage during check-in or check-out. You might expect that level of service from a five star hotel while it seemed that they were lacking it.

Breakfast area is small, we waited for a table for about 20minus, not much variety of food. When we arrived, the bacon and fried vegetables were all gone. We asked the waiter several times for more bacon and waited for nearly 20 minutes before they added more.It was only 10am at that time, which was the prime time for breakfast. Apart from that, the hotel's facilities and services were OK. A large bottle of CAVA every day was the only plus point. The facilities were not up to the five-star standard.

Excellent from the first step into the hotel. A warm and friendly welcome from staff with hand towels and and a drink. Quick check-in and escort to our room.

The room had a beautiful shower and a bathtub, seperated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Very spacious, equiped with a coffee station and options for tea. A decent sized couch and large comfortable bed. A gorgeous heated pool was located on the rooftop with a picturesque view of Barcelona.

The dining options were fantastic. Xerta was given a Michilen star recently. Great options for the buffet breakfast with an a la carte menu.

The staff made my stay very special for my birthday with a gift of champagne, a card and chocolates. Highly recommend staying here. Great transport links, amenities and restaurants within walking distance. I'm already preparing my next trip to Barcelona with Ohla Eixample.

Ok, Ive stayed at two other properties in Barcelona, both better than here. The hotel was fine, the staff was average, the room was ok, very small with two very small twins. I was just not impressed with anything at this hotel. A couple of staff were rude, the sushi restaurant was the best thing at the hotel, the bar was no good, bartender no good. I wouldn't consider staying here again.

Our room was the Atic top floor, very roomy, balcony was a nice touch. Bed was very comfy, in fact loved the pillows made note of the manufacturer so we could get some for home use. HVac worked well. Room was quiet, breakfast was excellent - probably one of the best we have been to. Actually one of the best stay and room ever. Staff were very attentive and helpful, turn down service in the evening, always made sure we had water, supplies etc. No complaints what so ever, would definitely stay at this hotel again. Close to attractions, shopping and lots of cafes in area. We ranked this hotel a 10

Beautiful, clean, great staff. If you're really sensitive to scents, you may want to request a scent free environment ahead of time. Had my room lights go wonky my last night there and no one seemed to know what to do or to concerned about it. But otherwise a beautiful, comfortable place to stay
