The most difficult part of my experience is getting into my booked reservation. No one answers the phone. The listed contact number had no response. We arrived early due to our timeline of our cruise. You cannot enter the building without code or someone lets you. I was concerned about our luggage. This was the most difficult entry. This process has to change.

Perfect boutique hotel, room was up to date and clean. The room had amazing view out the balcony but is a bit small if you have a lot of luggage (it was fine for a few day stay). Staff was friendly and set us store our luggage prior to check in. Great location as well. Would recommend.

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel, only wished that the checking in process could have been communicated better. Dining area has limited space but it’s easy access to metro, walking distance to some of the main attractions. shops nearby and most especially the staff are very welcoming and friendly. All in all, we enjoyed it.

Do not use this hotel

We couldn't even access our room. No reception lobby. The door was locked . We finally figured out the access code. Then there was another code to find the floor. And a third code to obtain your key. The building was dark and isolated. Not another soul in sight. We immediately left and found another hotel. We'd appreciate a refund for an unused night and feel the pictures and description were misleading. It is terrible to arrive exhausted and not able to enter your room.

The location was excellent! Rooms are small. The staff were great. The place was clean. Parking was 19 euros per night and was 5 mins walk from the place. The accommodation was basically a unit that has been divided into 9 rooms or so inside a residential building. So at the beginning you get really confused about the type of accommodation. I am always concerned about the fire safety about these places because in North America hotels have to have all the bells n whistles of fire safety. The room had no windows except a door that leads to no where!

Very cute accommodations with a modern slab sink and rain shower. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful city streets.

The receptionist was responsive to emails and helpful with luggage storage on our last day.

The central location can’t be beat. You’re within walking distance of multiple Gaudí museums, and on the route of most subways and buses.

We stayed here on a brief visit to Barcelona. The place is not well identified from the street, no signage at all. It is more like a rooming house located in an apartment building. Our room was not cleaned after we arrived and the very nice woman there did not speak English. The place is a 35 minute walk to many attractions.

You will love it!

I don’t typically review and I’m not paid to do this by any means. I’ve stayed in many hostels across Europe and this is by far the best. They truly exceeded my expectations. Very friendly and great location. Room was very nice and comfortable king bed. My boyfriend was sick unfortunately so we spent a lot of time in the room. It was perfect. They have smart tv to log into Netflix etc. shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, slippers, free coffee etc. All the small details were there. Many people complained about the noise in other reviews. I didn’t notice it but I also live in Philadelphia so maybe I’m used to it. They do provide ear plugs in the room to address it. For the money - this is definitely the move and I would book again.

Great location and good place to stay in Barcelona. The stuff were very friendly and always willing to help. The room was clean and good size for a family. Good beds and quite place although the old windows can't close properly anymore and you hear quite a lot of noise from the street. The main thing to improve is the check in.

There are two '102' (102 and 102 Bis) but not easy to find. Adding a sentence to the instrusaying that the entrance is next to the Mauri pastisserie would really help.

Sending the codes to get it so last minute (they send it to you at 16 if you arrive later that day, makes you feel a bit insecure. The code at the main entrance didn't really work, but they were trying to fix it.

Again, good place to stay but there are simple improvements which can make your stay more comfortable and reliable.

The ladies working there were the best! Very helpful.

Though it says it is a hotel it is really a hostel.

There is no full time front desk and the person at the desk didn't speak English so we had to type everything into Google Translate. She was very nice and helpful to the extent she could but not all that knowledgeable. It was hard to ask for anything.

They never sent me instructions on how to get in, but I called and eventually did get in. I know others got emails with instructions. The room was very clean and updated, though nowhere to put our luggage in our room, others were bigger but ti was too hard to ask to switch.
The internet was not good in our room and we had to go into the common area to use it.

Overall, if you just need a room, this is a great property, well located, clean and updated. Hopefully they can fix the internet.

The location was fantastic--it is walking distance to everything!
The rooms are spacious for a boutique hotel and appreciate not having carpets for a change! We love too that there is a Nespresso coffee station and both indoor and outdoor seating.

Check in after-hours was made easy with complete step by step instructions so no issue there, just make sure you let them know your estimated arrival time.

Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it !

Better than expected, be aware that the signage on the street says hostel. Front desk is not always open, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very nice room for 2 people - large bed, comfortable sofa, nicely styled bathroom. Would return.

This hotel doesn’t have air conditioning, so our room was unbearable hot and stuffy. So, we had to open the window, but then mosquitoes flied in and loud noise from the street kept us up late at night. One thing I found out booking hotel room on a third party website like Hotels.com was the hotel often time gave us the worst room they had. Our room was so small, we didn’t have any space at all to lay our suitcases down. They had to be closed and stand up. Room was really outdated. Things were falling apart. I will not stay at this hotel again

Not the room we hoped for

My fiance were travelling for his birthday and I was very excited about getting a great deal on Cosmopolitan Boutique Rambla given the location and pictures of the rooms. Our room was less than what we had hoped for and researched but there was no capacity to make a change. The bathroom was separated from the bed by simply glass and the room an awkward shape. We couldn't keep the window open much of the time given it opened up to a public terrace space. That said, the team were very hospitable and made us feel at home.

Pros:
-Welcome fruit basket... nice touch and snacks for the day
-Water filtration machine for filling bottles - this was great to have and we never ran out of water at night
-Decent location - 20 min walk down Rambla to/from the Gothic quarter. The Diagnol metro station was around the corner
-Late breakfast hours: 8-12 (note: this is good for tourists but 8 might be too late if there on business). Note that it's a minimal Spanish cold cut + bread breakfast
-Late check out - 12 noon
-Friendly staff that made us feel very welcome
-WiFi works well in rooms

Cons:
-The AC didn’t work. My wife is pregnant and I *specifically* chose this hotel because of the AC. When we got there they asked “the AC isn’t working, are you ok with that?” No... I’m definitely not, but what am I supposed to do at that point? They could have told me this when it stopped working - it seemed to have been broken for some time and the building is very hot.
-On second the floor - which means expect very loud street noise. Especially bad because we had no AC and frequently had to chose between the heat or extra noise
-It’s *really* hard to find this place and people on the street don’t know it. The entrance is not well marked - it's on the corner of the block (note that the hotel's building number is half the block)

Cosmopolitan Boutique Rambla was the perfect place for us. We were warmly welcomed with tips about great places to eat and directions to the Gaudi sites where we had booked. Loved the features in our room and the option to walk or take public transport to see as much as possible during our short time in Barcelona.

Unsafe place Nobody answer the phone call at night

The room is good but the service is seriously out of order. During the night, we just got robbery in front of the hotel door and lost our passcode key to get into the room. We call the emergency call again and again, but nobody answered. We can't help but booked another hotel, which made us spend more money and feel sucked.

Great place to base yourself for a sightseeing holiday. Just around the corner from corner from Gaudi's 'Pedrera' apartment block and less than 10 minutes from the legendary 'Casa Batllo'. The nearest metro station connects directly to the airport making it very easy to reach for first time visitors such as ourselves. Would use again.

Very helpful staff in nice hotel

Staff were extremely helpful. We needed a wheelchair as a last minute additon to our holiday. The staff found somewhere we could rent one, called ahead for us and arranged a taxi extremely quickly. They were very willing to help and extremely kind, patient and understanding.

The room was very pleasant and for a 'hostel' it is surberb quality. We had a small balcony, rainfall style shower and kingsize bed. Honestly on par with nice 3* hotel in my opinion. Good location and nice area. As it's an older building it is single glazed and Barcelona traffic can be noisy - bring earplugs if a light sleeper but this was a very minor issue for us.

A perfect nights stay :)

We were welcome in by a friendly lady (sorry i did not catch her name) we arrived before checkin time around 12pm but were allowed to keep our bags there why we ventured out. When we returned around 4pm a differnt guy welcomed us and showed us our room where out bags had been neatly placed. The room was just like the description and the photos... PERFECT!! Our small idyllic balcony was on the street and just what we wanted. We found about 4 cigarette ends on the balcony floor, we do not smoke, this we found a bit dirty, however our room inside was perfect this did not bother us. Around 8pm as we were leaving the room to go out our a/c started leaking but we had turned this off earlier as it was not needed, straight away my partner went to tell someone and straight away someone came to check and gave us extra towels to clean up the water. Very helpful :) this trip was for my partners birthday and Although we only stayed 1 night it was just how we expected, thank you Cosmopolitan Boutique Hotel :)

Disappointing...

The building was beautiful, but difficult to find. The air conditioning was broken and when we opened the window, the street noise was too much to manage.

The wifi was unreliable and the bathroom shower sprayed water all over the floor.

Staff was either new and inexperienced or defensive about any of our concerns. No one offered to help with any tourist guidance, etc.

Would not go back.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à deux pas de la Casa Batllo et d'une bouche de métro qui permet de relier toutes les attractions de la ville. Le petit-déjeuner est très satisfaisant. L'hôtel est propre et agréable. La femme qui s'occupe du petit déjeuner et du ménage est souriante et sympathique.

On note deux points négatifs :
- l'arrivée : une vraie galère pour avoir les codes d'accès au bâtiment !! J'ai demandé des précisions (la vieille) pour la taxe de séjour et les codes d'accès, car il n'y a pas de personnel d'accueil dans cet \"hôtel\").
On m'a répondu la veille, en me disant que j'aurais les codes le jour.j par e.mail et on m'a envoyé un lien pour le paiement de la taxe sans précisions... J'ai signalé qu'on payerait la taxe une fois arrivée dans les locaux, on ne m'a rien dit...
Le jour.j, aucun mail... j'ai du les recontacté 30 minutes avant notre arrivée sur le tchat et par mail, on est resté sans réponses pendant 1h...
J'ai finalement dû appeler le numéro de contact disponible sur hotel.com pour qu'on nous donne enfin les codes : c'était laborieux !
Si j'ai bien compris, en payant la taxe avant nous aurions eu les codes....
- l'isolation : les fenêtres en bois sont fines et anciennes. Notre chambre donnait sur la rue principale, on entendait tout ce qui s'y passait .
Heureusement que l'hôtel fournit des boules quies, sinon impossible de dormir sereinement.

Recomiendo que al momento de llegar al lugar ya lleves las indicaciones a seguir ya que para entrar necesitas la clave de puerta del edificio y puerta al hotel ya que de lo contrario puede ser un impase ya que en el lugar sólo está la persona encargada de 8 am a 5 pm.

Pero su servicio es muy impersonal . En mi caso término siendo hasta grosero de su parte pues me contactaron vía WhatsApp y mail desde unas direcciones que no tenían que ver con el hotel como tal . Les escribí en su enlace oficial y ahí me respondieron ron que si eran ellos y que no había yo respondido . Resulto que es un hotel como de autoservicio dentro de un edificio de departamentos habitacionales así que en el acceso el del edificio muy grosero. No hay recepción del “hotel”, todo es con códigos y no hay personal más que un rato por las mañana . en ultimo minuto me dijeron que tenía que pagar $33 euros para recibir los códigos. No tenían internet argumentando el apagón de más de una semana atrás. La habitación limpia y moderna pero muy pequeña . Por estar en el
Corazón de la rambla Cataluña en mi habitación con balcón se escuchaba ruido. Por cuestiones de mi viaje tenía que quedarme una noche más y me
Dijeron que ya no tenían disponibilidad. Así que me cambié entonces de hotel.

Check in instructions and codes were not sent, therefore lost lot of time at the entrance without having the information to enter. No-face hotel, whatsapp robot not answering. Very bad experience. The hotel itself is nice and can not be better situated, top location.

We arrived to the hotel at noon and it was a bit difficult to understand where it was. It’s basically a residential building that is converted to different rooms. When we entered the bedroom and checked the beds, they had black spots under the mattress. It looked like mould that has spread out for sometime. The beds and sheets were dirty. When we asked the housekeeper she called another guy that we spoke to on the phone, and he explained this was a cigarette burn that they knew about for 4 years! It was absolutely not a cigarette burn, but mould. When asked what we can do about it he said we should stay there because it isn’t dangerous. Because we had small children we insisted in either changing the room or getting a refund. He insisted there is nothing we could do about and basically swore at us and hung up the phone. We had to check out and find another hotel (with no mould and nicer staff). This is the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at, and it’s definitely a scam. Avoid

Un super séjour, Nous y avons séjourné en famille à 4.
Nous sommes arrivés à 15h et avons pu recevoir les clés en main propre, la personne à l’accueil est très sympa, merci pour son accueil.
La chambre est accessible en ascenseur (facile d’accès avec la poussette).
Idéalement placé avec le métro juste à côté.
Tout était impeccable à notre arrivée.
Nous avons pu avoir un table à repasser et un fer à prêter, un sèche cheveux est dispo dans la chambre ainsi que des produits de salle de bain.

De l'accueil à la chambre rien à redire...
Il faut juste savoir que tout se passe au 1er étage (accessible ascenseur) et avoir le code porte 🚪 du bas de l'immeuble.
La chambre dans laquelle nous etions etait séparé d'une grande salle de bain très bien équipée.

Falta atención al cliente

Falta más atención con el cliente, los códigos de ingreso nunca me los enviaron y al llegar fue incómodo andar contactando al personal para poder ingresar al hotel

Tout était parfait, la jeune fille de la réception adorable et aux petits soins, toujours le sourire, et se donne à 100% pour satisfaire sa clientèle. La chambre très propre et confortable, ménage fait régulièrement, on remplace les échantillons de savon et gel douche après utilisation ( c'est pas partout), le jeune homme à la porte est très gentil aussi, je reviendrai sûrement. L'emplacement est idéal, au centre de tout, avec de bons restaurants tout autour. Bref, au top. Merci

Confort, calme et discrétion au cœur de l’Eixample

Bon établissement. Pratique et bien situé. Malheureusement la situation sanitaire empêchait l’utilisation de la cuisine commune et d’accéder à la terrasse qui sont de vrais plus en temps normal. La Chambre familiale est confortable mais peu lumineuse. Seul bémol, le manque d’information concernant changement de code de la porte d’entrée le lundi qui m’a obligé à attendre 15 minutes avant de pouvoir rentrer en plein milieu du séjour.

La habitación estaba bien, cama cómoda y había espacio pero sentía falta de aire al no poder abrir la ventana. Se escuchaba muchísimo la habitación de al lado. Habitación limpia, servicio de Wifi bien pero podrían dejar la clave dentro para no tener que llamar al encargado.

Appena arrivato nn avevano ancora inviato i codici per aprire le porte. Dopo un’ora che li cercavo finalmente qualcuno ha risposto ed è arrivato qualcuno poco dopo.
La camera era piccola e buia nonostante fosse il primo piano. Nn la consiglio

Ótimo Hotel

Hotel Boutique com pouco mais de 10 Quartos extremamente confortáveis. Adoramos a localização, em área nobre da cidade com vários restaurantes e lojas próximas, a 1 quadra de estação de metro e 1 quadra da La Pedreira.

Como dito pelos outros hospedes, não há portaria presencial 24 horas ou serviço de quarto, mas isso não foi empecilho para nós, já que todo o acesso é feito foi senha na portaria.

Quarto extremamente confortável, novo e aconchegante, me hospedaria novamente.

Muy bien ubicado, habitación limpia, cama amplia y muy cómodap, no hay mucho lugar para extenderse con la ropa. Yo no tome con desayuno, por lo que vi, no vale la pena x lo que se cobra. Hay muchos lugares alrededor para comer.

La ubicación excelente, sector tranquilos, a pasos de restorantes, tiendas, el metro al lado, buena conectividad.
Lo que no dejaron claro es que la habitación no tenia ventanas, sólo un patio interno, que no servía de mucho.
