Perfect location, off Diagonal L3 stop. Beautiful building and the balcony has some of the best views of Barcelona. Communication wasn’t great - we messaged a couple of times and never heard back, and was surprised to find that the kitchen didn’t have many essentials (coffee pods for the espresso machine, salt and pepper etc). Some of the cook ware could use replacement (eg the very worn out plastic cutting boards).

All in all, would stay here again and just come with some of the missing items.

The property did not look like the actual apartment listed. It was smaller w/o a balcony, but that was not the problem. First of all, it was not easy finding which apartment was ours as there is no one working on the weekends. Called and got a hold of a woman who did not know how the keys listed with the number worked. She thought the number was the floor and it was actually the apartment number. But luckily I was able to get a hold of Victor who straightened it out and we were able to get inside the apartment. As far as amenities go, it was a disaster. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the apartment when we checked in for four adults and 4days. I asked for a few more rolls which I was told would be delivered in the morning but they were not. We had to go find some on our own and in that neighborhood there are really no markets. It’s very high end so we ended up having to buy tissue paper. The TV never turned on so we did not have that and the safe in the closet did not work either so we could not lock up our valuables and had to hide them. There wasn’t any housekeeping services even for a four day stay so we had the same towels as well with no wash cloths. I tried calling and sending a few emails but they did not answer the phone and did not reply to my emails after the initial one regarding toilet paper. There was an older man as a doorman but we only saw him one time and was of no help. Very Disappointed!
Great area but would not stay at Bonavista again.

I would never stay there again... welcome was great. They arranged for a fee for a driver to pick us up from the airport. Well welcomed us into the unit. However, the AC was not working well. We asked for a fan to at least help with the heat. The bed was so uncomfortable and the bedroom was so hot that we ended up sleeping on the floor in the living room.

On the second day when we came back from our day activity to the hotel we noticed they entered our appartment without letting us know.

At the middle of the night their electric cutron started closing the cutron by itself.

Very uncomfortable place to stay.

Disappointed as I didn’t realise we would not be able to access the terraces to see the Pedrera from our apartment. If you want a view you need to pick the much larger apartments with terrace. Aircon is almost non existent and even though it says it’s on it does not appear to work well. Sofa bed is very uncomfortable. There are two flights of stairs before the elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs. Unlikely we would choose this property again.

The best view of Barcelona from the 10 floor. You can see most of the noteworthy architectural masterpieces from this unit itself. No need to pay to visit the Pedrera building as you overlook the rooftop from your balcony and it's close enough to enjoy their weekend evening concerts without leaving your room. Overall this was a great beginning to an even greater trip.

Clean and modern

We came from a similar apartment in Paris. Bonavista was a much better value -- air conditioned, modern, clean. Room darkening shades and an 8th floor unit made this room quiet and cool for sleeping. This was our first vacation in Barcelona, the apartment was convenient to the metro and upscale shopping. It was about a 30 minute walk to the Gothic Quarter - the meeting point for the three tours we scheduled. We were disappointed in the service when we requested extra towels. They were promised, but never provided. They also offered to schedule a taxi service for us for our trip to the airport and that was not completed on time so the taxi arrived about 30 minutes later than we wanted.

Best view of the city, you see Casa Mila and Sagrada Familia across from your balcony. Casa Mila has a lights show at night which you can enjoy without living the apartment. Apartment is also located on the most posh shopping street and next to really good restaurants.
The drawbacks is that the it is very loud and it is hard to sleep at night (master bedroom faces some type of pipe that makes banging noises at night and glass sliding doors in the living room across from the sofa don't shut 100% which causes an air draft and also the main street is pretty noisy). Other than that, it's a great apartment for 2-3 people

This place is beautiful and it's located in a Penthouse with a panoramic balcony overlooking the city of Barcelona. Victor met us at the property and checked us in. He was very helpful and courteous, it was a wonderful experiance, looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed in one bed room apt. Who recieved us was very kind. Only thing not good was cleaning. As surprise you have to pay 50 euros for cleaning so if you pay ir, the price is same to other 4 stars or 5 stars hotel which clean your room every day.

This was an amazing apartment hotel stay. We stayed at the 1 bedroom penthouse and it gave us an incredible view of Barcelona. We couldn't have dreamed of a more romantic honeymoon apartment.
The bed was comfortable, the shower was large, the balcony was huge, the kitchen had everything we needed. It was so fun to sip some cava at night while seeing the light show at the Pedrera across the street.
The staff was very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance and there's a metro just steps away.
We will 100% be staying here again the next time we go to Barcelona.

We loved the views and location. We could see the Mediterranean Sea in the distance, Sagrada Familia, Gaudi museum across the way. Everything within walking distance. The balcony was wonderful to sit and have morning coffee.Nearby markets and restaurants... Loved Barcelona and loved our stay at this property.

Read the small print

Before booking this property ensure that you read what your appartment actually has as we believed we had a terrace but were disappointed when we got to the appartment and did not. We also had problems with loss of power and had to have someone come round to fix it twice. On our last day we also had no hot water. The property is in a good location but does not tick every box. Also, be aware that you have to pay a 50 Euro cleaning fee upon arrival.

Best location in Barcelona!

The location was the best in Barcelona. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the terrace was ample with a great view of La Pedrera. Easy walk to Old Town and Las Ramblas and not too far from la Sagrada Familia. The only con is that a double bed is too small for a couple - should be at least a queen size.

We rented three apts. two 2 bedroom one one bedroom w pull out
The one bedroom pullout was broken
Could not be used. Ended up third person having to sleep on floor
My concern also was how the sheet on this bed could have been changed wo noticing the bed. It would have been impossible therefore leading me to believe it wasn’t changed
One of the two bedroom apts was very sparcly decorated w very cheap furnishings. The rest was very comfortable. The location was excellent. The office personnel very congenial and helpful

The apartment is a little tired looking. New paint is needed, update on towels, couch, toss cushions, carpet was stained. The best- was quiet, great location, the bed was comfy. The shower is dangerous, my husband almost fell twice, and I did fall- badly bruised- slip tack strips need to be put in place, we ended up putting a towel down inside the shower.

ROOF TOP VIEW OF GAUDI'S CATHEDRAL & CASA MILA

Incredible wrap around roof top balcony, with incredible view northeast to Antoni Gaudi's Casa Mila across the street and the Sagrada Familia 1/2 mile north. Located on the subway lines for easy quick travel to other parts of the city. Full kitchen if you are tired of eating out.
Elevator because it is a long way up !

The location of the apartment is great, next to a good subway line and has a great terrace with view.

We had a good stay there, but there are a few details that can be improved: 1) it has two types of coffee makers but does not provide coffee. There are a couple instance mixes on the table but why not provide coffee pods? 2) the apartment requires you to contact them 3 days prior to arrival for check in arrangement. Since Barcelona is my last stop of my long vacation, I didn’t pay much attention to the check in details and did not realize it until when I was on the taxi from BCN to the apartment. Luckily the manager responded fairly quickly and made it 15 minutes after he responded. He was a very nice guy, spoke great English and provided great suggestions. But it could be nicer if they reach out to me before my arrival. All the other serviced apartments I stayed this trip reached out to me first, so I kind of relied on that. 3) it would be nicer if the apartment is supplied with more essentials such as salt and pepper, kitchen towels. 4) The bed was quite a temperoray set up and the spring underneath makes a loud sound when I sit on the bed. It was okay comfortable, but something more sturdy would be nice.

They provide a international charger converter in the room which was a very thoughtful detail.

Overall we enjoyed the apartment because of its location and recommend it.

Perfect hotel in Barcelona

Beautiful views of Barcelona! We loved spending our evenings with a drink on the balcony, watching the city. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It's also located in a perfect area, with access to many attractions and subway stops.

Perfect views and location for Barcelona

Fantastic stay at the deluxe 1 bedroom w/ terrace room! The pictures don't do the terrace justice, the view was amazing and the location couldn't have been better. You have Casa Mila one block away and can enjoy the evening light show and music from the terrace, as well as see the Sagrada Familia. It does get a bit hot during the day on the patio, but there is a cover which is nice. After waiting a bit to gain entrance into the apartment Victor was great in telling us about the area and had plenty of recommendations of where to go and what to do. He was very helpful. They also had a taxi set up for a 3:30am pickup on our last day which was great. Underground stop is a block away, as is the bus and taxi stand. Well worth the money, one of the best places I've stayed and the best on our Europe trip for sure.

The one bedroom apartment was VERY SPACIOUS and clean. It was completely fully stocked and the washer/dryer combination was a great amenity to have in the apartment! Victor was very responsive with emails prior to the trip and arranging the check in was a breeze. The location was EXCELLENT, the metro was across the street and the bus to Park Guel was also across the street. We will definitely would like to stay again!

Fantastic place

We loved this place! Everything is so close and the restaurant on this same building is delicious! Apartment was clean and organized when given to us and it was comfortable too. The only thing was that we were only provided with two rolls of toilet paper so we had to buy some at a local store, they were not expensive. Besides that everything was fantastic and I'll go back to this place. Terrace will leave you speechless!

This apartment is really well equipped if you do want to cook...we didn't but it had everything we needed.

Really well located close to some of the main tourist attractions and a great base to see the city from.

Would definitely recommend and would use again if visiting Barcelona.

Victor speak good English. Apartment was in clean and good condition. Great location on the Pg de Gracia. Up market shopping area. lots of restaurants and Casa Mila just a block away. We walked to Sagrada, Joseph market, etc. But the metro just few minutes away if you prefer.
Going Camp Nou by taxi only about 9 mins with good traffic condition that cost us about 10€. There is no reception or working person in this property but a useful guide / book is provided.
