Poor cleanliness - multiple hair on bedsheet and pillow cases. Despite the staff offered alternative rooms, the second and third rooms got the same issues. Since no other alternatives, we brought sticky tape to remove the hair by ourselves.

Staff - while some listened and apologised for their mistakes, some are very judgemental with an attitude. The management handles our complaints poorly—
1) x3 clothing items left on bed in the morning, and were missing when we returned in the evening.
Reply from management: house keeping team and laundry company are unable to find the items, and they are unable to identify the cause. Conclusion: missing item “can happen”; and refused to any financial compensation.
2) hair on bed in all 3 rooms offered. Despite front desk staff witnessed the issues in all 3 rooms, management’s reply: “that’s strange”

Facilities - poor drainage in shower, and faulty water tap. When the tap is turned on, both shower head and bath tub taps are on, I.e. excessive water coming out. During shower, water built up to above ankles within 2mins of shower. Issues reported; no feedback provided for 2 days. After follow up, we were informed that the maintenance team is waiting for parts to fix the tap. It is disappointing that no updates provided, nor an alternative room being offered.
X2 power outage in one night.
Malfunctioning hair dryer.

Location - excellent location; close to metro and buses stops. But, is it enough to be considered as a good choice???

The area is one of the best in Barcelona, lots of bars and restaurants around. Walking distance to the Sagrada Familia.

The hotel and the room were clean and cozy, the bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great stay!

Hotel has some minor maintenance issues such as lift was out of service a couple of times during our stay also there was a terrible sewage smell at random times throughout the hotel however in the room it was fine so that was good

Without being rude, I am telling the actual facts. Bathroom was extremely smelly, I could see stains under inside the toilet. Bathroom walls all cracked in various places, and we saw an insect crawling in the toilet. So much noise from the room upstairs that every flush they do we could hear. Breakfast was fairly average, nothing out of the world. The only good thing was the the receiption staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed there twice as we took a trip to Andalusia. The rooms are so comfortable and located within walking distance from restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. They offer a variety of breakfast options at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel for families, groups and single travelers.

I stayed in this hotel for my first trip to Europe and I cannot say enough about how Fantastic it is!! Very European hotel with half shower doors and bidet in bathroom! Stayed in a king suite with a balcony that was the absolute best! Staff are very friendly and spoke English! Told them it was my first time in Spain and Europe all together and they brought me a bottle of champagne and fruit! I will be staying here next time I go to Barcelona!

We stayed here for 5 days - it was fantastic in every way. Location is perfect for walking around Barcelona or catching transportation for day trips, etc. The hotel itself is wonderful - we had a balcony - perfect for sitting out in the evening and listening to Barcelona. Lots of restaurants in walking distance - would definitely stay here again.

Impressive efforts at keeping the property clean: the staff even washed the floors with lavender water.

Enjoyable stay. Close to stop for hop on hop off (West side) bus and Sagrada Familia. (17 minute walk). A bit loud on the street but slept well with windows closed and AC on.
Rooms very clean and nicely appointed. Did not use breakfast bar as was too expensive. Lots of nice bakeries close by with delicious assortment of pastries etc. We arrived early after a cruise and hotel kept our luggage while we went and explored the city.

El servicio del personal en el restaurante no me agradó , pues me estuvieron fiscalizando i tenia incluido el desayuno de una manera demasiado incómoda.
La habitación no tenía aire acondicionado , solo calefacción. Me prestaron un ventilador destartalado que no funcionaba bien.
Por lo demás, bien el hotel. Pero buscaría otro para una próxima ocasión.

The hotel is very nice and very well situated in Eixample. You can walk to La Pedrera, La sagrada Familia, Paseig de Gracia, Several markets and great restaurants. The staff is wonderful, especially Roberto at reception. No parking and the closest one is expensive but that is all over Barcelona.
We had several noisy “ugly american” types in neighboring rooms who came in drunk and loud every night. This was terrible as the doors are a bit loud and with inconsiderate people…. Even when the staff sent them a letter and came to the hallway… it is impossible

The hotel was in a great location. It was close and walking distance Passeig de Gracia and Sagrada Familia. There are lots of restaurants & delicious bakeries nearby as well as 2 24 hour convenient stores.

All of the front desk staff members were kind and extremely helpful.

The breakfast buffet at the hotel is also delicious. They have a big selection that is sure to please everyone.

The property was in a great location. It was within walking distance of some of the main attractions without being right in the center of all the action. It was also near multiple metro stops. Room was small but clean. My one complaint was that my flight was cancelled so I missed my first night at the hotel. I asked if there was any way I could get even a partial refund but they said it wasn’t their problem and to take it up with the airline.

Very Nice Hotel with staff that knows the city, is bi-lingual and very willing to help you out. Rooms are clean, crisp and very contemporary. Very close to all sorts of food and transportation of all types.

Only complaint is a queen is 2 twins pushed together and you will fall though the middle (Trust Me)

We were very pleased with this hotel, though we did find it a bit on the expensive side. The staff were friendly and helpful. We found the bed a bit small (queen size) though we realise that the size of our room did not allow for anything wider. The breakfasts were very good value for money (especially if you are a member of their customers' club) as were the dinners. We asked for a quiet room facing the inner courtyards and we were pleased with our choice.

This is a great hotel, in the Gracia neighborhood just outside of the central part of the city. It was within walking distance to many attractions, and close to the metro and trains. We stayed for 4 days. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. All of the staff were courteous and knowledgeable, and extremely helpful on all of our inquiries. A pleasure to stay here.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The room we stayed in was kept clean. The location was very convenient and situated near many eateries and cafes. The only minor inconvenience I had was that I had to keep exchanging the entry card for our room because it would not let us in every few days. The issue was solved by one of friendly staffers at the front desk.

Overall, we would stay at La Pedrera again.

Breakfast was outstanding. The room was modern and very clean. The location was great too. Vibrant and safe. We walked several blocks to catch the hop-on, hop-off bus. Would highly recommend doing this so that you can get a taste of Barcelona. There's a bunch of mini-markets for late night snacks, and there's a pharmacy across the street. Many great restaurants within walking distance. The front desk was especially helpful and welcoming for our very late night check-in. The only thing we were disappointed in was the pool. It was like a double hot tub. The photo makes it look bigger than it is. It was only about 13 feet long. Otherwise, for the price, it was a great deal.

We visited for a long weekend over Easter. The hotel is really well located, just round the corner from Gaudi's La Pedrera and the other iconic buildings on Passeig Gracia. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. They let us store our luggage after check out until we left for the airport.

We didn't use the pool so can't comment on it. The only issue is the walls were very thin, we could hear every person who walked along the corridor and the lift mechanism and doors opening, otherwise, very nice hotel.

Comfortable hotel close to the city centre

I would recommend this hotel which is very close to some main sights eg La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and of a good size.
You can easily walk to the city centre or use the nearby Metro station.
Meals are available at the hotel but there are cafes and shops very close.

The Hotel building and location are good.

The Hotel location is good but staff did not explain the availability of public transportation where we could utilise it to full extent. They take it for granted that we are not a first time visitor to the Town, however, when especially asked on the last day everything was explained well.restaurant was
The reception staff refused to take €500 bill and asked me to change from a bank that was again surprising in a four star hotel.
The building is good but facilities in room do not match 4 star standard e.g. no tea and coffee making facilities were available.

Staff in Restaurant at breakfast time was not very helpful also had English limitation.

Very pleased with the hotel, excellent location, beautiful new decor friendly and supper efficient staff . My only issue is you can NOT regulate the temperature in your room., its either heating or nothing, as they switch off the A/C in winter. ( I stayed 8-10 March) Room temperature was OK during the day, but got stuffy @ night I have to sleep with the window open and requested a fan which was delivered to me within 5 minutes. As I said, supper-efficient staff.
