Lovely hotel, very nice staff. Good food. Relaxed ambiance. My son says ‘good doors’. Pool in the spa was lovely and the right temperature.

Main thing for me is it was quiet to sleep and in a very nice area.

Fantastic stay at Seventy Barcelona!
Super comfy bed, great shower, and an unbeatable location — everything you want for a city break. The service was excellent throughout, warm and attentive without being overbearing. The spa was a real highlight: calm, beautifully done, and perfect after a day exploring Barcelona. Stylish, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming — I’d absolutely stay here again.

Unfortunately the room had the sink drain clogged and one of the automatic blinds was stuck. I informed upon checkout so hopefully they fix that.

Cleaning staffs are friendly. Enough sitting in the room, two chairs and 1 sofas, 1 bench in the bathroom area.

Front desk staff never answered their phones when the bathroom had problems.

No hot water on the first day, but the following 11 days were ok. Water flow was very low in the shower room, and we had to wait until the next day at 10 o’clock because no plumber was on-call for this 4 or 5 stars hotel.

An Exceptional Stay at Hotel Seventy Barcelona

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendliest staff who immediately made us feel welcome. The hotel itself is gorgeous—beautifully designed, stylish, and it smells incredible throughout the entire property. Our room was spotless and stunning, with a bed so comfortable it was hard to leave in the morning.

The food was absolutely delicious, and every space we visited in the hotel was clean, inviting, and thoughtfully maintained. Overall, our stay was exceptional from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

The location was perfect, walking distance to plenty of coffee shops, bars, shopping, and several Gaudí sites. I’m only sad I didn’t have time to use the spa since it was included, but aside from that, everything was excellent.

Our stay at Seventy Barcelona was delightful, enhanced by its prime Eixample location, just a 4-minute walk from Diagonal metro station (L3, L5) and a block from the Corsega - Pg de Gràcia bus stop. Casa Batlló is an easy 8-minute stroll away. The bed was comfortable ensuring restful night sleep, however, the bathroom could use some upgrades to match the hotel’s high standards. Breakfast was a highlight, offering variety of options to suit different taste. We particularly love their cappuccino. The free 30-minute spa session with a sauna was a blissful treat after a day of walking. The restaurant staff were warm and attentive, especially the ones in the reception. The stylish decor, superb service, and ideal location made our stay memorable.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seventy. It was hot in Barcelona while we were there and it was so nice to come back from our adventures and cool off in the air conditioned room and the rooftop pool. We noticed that you can see La Sagrada Familia from the pool! The room was lovely. The rooftop terrace was also very nice. And we enjoyed walking to the nearby cafes. It’s a great location and the staff are very helpful.

We stayed at Seventy Barcelona for three nights as a couple visiting from Canada, and it could not have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome at reception set the tone for a truly memorable experience.

The design of the hotel is absolutely stunning – modern, stylish, and inviting, yet comfortable enough that it feels like home. Every corner has been thoughtfully curated, and the atmosphere is both chic and relaxed.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed with every detail considered. The bed was exceptionally comfortable (a must after long days exploring Barcelona), and the soundproofing meant restful, uninterrupted sleep.

Breakfast was a highlight – an incredible selection of fresh fruit, pastries, eggs made to order, and local specialties, all beautifully presented. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and terrace, which offered a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city.

The location is perfect – close to Passeig de Gràcia, making it easy to walk to Gaudí’s masterpieces, great shopping, and countless cafes and restaurants. Yet, despite being so central, the hotel feels like an oasis.

What really stood out was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, genuine, and eager to help with recommendations or just a friendly chat. Their hospitality made our stay feel personal and special.

The hotel had a welcoming atmosphere, very attentive staff, and comfortable, well-kept rooms. The breakfast buffet served a variety of food and drinks. The location was also convenient, making it easy to get around and explore. The design and ambiance stood it was modern yet cozy. The little touches, like complimentary water and champagne made the stay feel special. The overall experience was great, but I was disappointed that the air conditioning system failed for about eight hours during the evening and into bedtime. The hotel manager graciously offered to provide us with complimentary breakfast for the entire duration of our stay. Although pricey, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

After the 20 emails we received prior to arriving we pre-filled out the EXTENSIVE check in form. We arrived hoping this would speed up check in.. we arrived after a long day travelling and even though we were second in the queue and asked if we had pre-checked in we had to wait around 25 minutes just to get the room. Some poor people behind us were still waiting after we dropped our bags and went to shower and came back downstairs.

The swimming pools are glorified bathtubs, the bath was full of hair and the bed may as well be a water bed. If you are sharing a bed with a partner get ready to be woken up any time they move a muscle.

Way over hyped and maybe you can take a cool influence style photo by the pool, but there’s got to be a tonne of better hotels with a better price.

Also with platinum we were told we would get benefits but received none.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely area of Barcelona. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. From the attentive doormen who go out of their way to help get you get a taxi to the front desk staff who were happy to show us points of interest on a map and let us know our room was ready a few hours before check in time, the staff were very good. We had drinks in the bar one afternoon which was nice and dinner on the patio twice. You can’t beat dining under olive trees on that beautiful patio after a long hot day seeing the sights.

Lobby area was nice. Check-in was easy. Our room was okay. We had a “Sky Room”, but was not worth the upgrade. We had friends that had a basic room that had a better view. We also had friends that had a first floor patio that was nice.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were soft. The Doorman was very kind and would do anything to fetch you a taxi. The lobby was clean and had lots of seating. The rooftop pool area was nice and peaceful and has a bar. Check-in and checkout was easy. They had a cool little restaurant across the street that we frequented for breakfast, tapas, and sangrias.
Cons: water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low, making shaving or brushing your teeth a bit of a challenge. Our hallway on the 6th floor had a terrible odor. Housekeeping didn’t sweep or mop the floors in our room. We had to request toilet paper, coffee pods, and towels regularly. The front desk personnel told us they do not have wash cloths (face towels) as we do in America. We also had to request drinking glasses because housekeeping didn’t reload the ones we used.
All in all our stay was nice. We loved Barcelona. I feel the hotel just needs to upgrade the housekeeping.

I first visit to Barcelona right in the center of town. We did the Expedia trip to the wineries was fabulous. The churro place across the street is amazing in the small tapa bar across the street is fabulous. The staff is so warm and caring. The breakfast is fabulous will be back.

A Wonderful (and Clean) Hotel!

Seventy Barcelona is a fabulous hotel! We stayed two nights in late June 2025 and we will definitely go back. The hotel is in a beautiful location, with fabulous lobby/bar/restaurant areas. The room was spotless and well-appointed, the staff kind and helpful, and the bar and restaurant were lively with great food/drinks. When we inevitably return to this amazing city, Seventy Barcelona will be at the top of our list of hotels. Thank you Seventy!

Deeply Underwhelming – Style Over Substance

Seventy Hotel Barcelona is all façade, no hospitality. For €460 a night, I expected comfort, service, and professionalism. What I got was disinterest, poor standards, and a complete lack of accountability.
At check-in, one receptionist was on the phone — fair enough. The other was casually chatting with her colleague and blatantly ignored me. No greeting, no eye contact, no effort. When they finally began the check-in process, neither smiled. Both looked visibly annoyed to be working.
The room was stylish but superficial. Amenities were laughable — a paper bag with two toothbrushes, toothpaste, tissues, and lotion. Anything else requires calling reception. When I did, I got a frosty tone and only one item I requested. It was left tucked in the doorframe with no communication. Follow-up call? Ignored. I went downstairs to find — no surprise — the same two staff still doing nothing.
To make matters worse, the shower drainage was painfully slow — water pooled quickly and took forever to clear. Another detail that shows this place is more focused on appearance than upkeep.
At the bar, I ordered a white sangria that was undrinkably sweet. The bartender was brisk and unfriendly — a consistent theme here: fast service, zero warmth. Checkout was the only positive moment — the staff were polite and apologetic. Unfortunately, far too little, far too late.

He was incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and went out of his way to make sure we felt at home. His restaurant recommendations were spot-on and really added to our experience in the area.

This hotel was beautiful and welcoming from start to finish. As soon as my Uber arrived, the bellman greeted me and took my bag to the lobby, which was stylishly decorated with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and a cozy lounge vibe. Champagne was offered at check-in, and online check-in before arrival made the process super easy.

The location was perfect — I could walk everywhere, and even locals said it was a great area. My room was spacious, clean, and had daily housekeeping. A standout feature was the built-in Bluetooth ceiling speakers in both the room and bathroom — such a cool touch!

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the complimentary 30 minutes per day at the spa was a nice bonus. Honestly, it was hard to leave the hotel because it was so enjoyable.

I didn’t eat at the restaurant (heard mixed reviews), but I had a drink at the bar — it was pricey and just okay. Still, that was minor compared to everything else.

Overall, you get what you pay for. It’s not cheap, but totally worth it if it’s in your budget. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
