Vraiment bien placé, près de tout a pieds. Seul inconvénient chambre très très petite même pas une chaise. Salle de bains mini, avec porte vitrée givré ou ont voit l'autre paa très sexy😆 j'étais assis de coté sur la toilette a cause du lavabo (chambre 117) mais ont a vue que les autres sont différentes. Mais tout était vraiment propre et le personnel était très gentil et aidant. Choses pratiques il y a une distributrice d'eau au 1er étage très pratique. Et une machine a café 1$. Donc pour 1-2 jours maximum c correct mais je ne resterait pas plus.

Very good hotel with a superb location. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The only downside of this hotel is that rooms are slightly small, and they do not have any wardrobes inside the rooms. Overall, nice and pleasant stay for a couple of days in Barcelona!

Excellent affordable choice for a short stay

A nice central, and well connected hotel for a couple of nights/long weekend. Everything was mainly in working order, with the absence of a few creature comforts such as a mini fridge and a completely opaque toilet door that only started to irritate us after the first couple of nights as a couple of friends who were spending all day together and needed a place to chill out and have our own space. All in all though, a nice enough place with lovely staff and no glaring problems! Ideal for an affordable weekend stay.

Location is great. Price is good. Facilities are ok. Construction going on now (January) and it's very noisy; website didn't mention anything about noisy remodeling. Acoustics are worse, you can hear everything and everyone in your floor, very uncomfortable at night.

Friendly little hotel in the heart of the city

Great hotel for the price! Easy walking distance to city centre and attractions. Friendly staff that are terrific to talk to! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a budget friendly hotel. The room was very small but clean. Noisy street so you can hear people talking in the street in the middle of the night. If you are a heavy sleeper like me it won't be a problem.

Street Noise

Hotel was fine, but location is very noisy, from late night to early morning. Needed the windows open for air, which let in street noise from below. If hotel could put a fan or AC in the room, allowing comfort with windows closed, then noise wouldn’t be a factor.

Good for the price, great location

I liked this hotel. The location was amazing - central enough, but not crowded. My room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. I did find that water leaked spilled out onto the bathroom floor when using the shower, but I put some towels down and that solved the issue. My only real complaint is that if you get a room facing the street of the entrance, you can hear people outside talking/yelling and garbage trucks until the early AM. Earplugs and jet-lag solved the issue, but I can see this being intolerable for light sleepers.

Shower curtain clung to the person in the shower and did not contain the water in the tiny shower stall. Water flooded the bedroom floor and our luggage. Will not be returning here.

Good value but far from main attractions

The hotel met my needs and was a good value considering the high hotel rates in Barcelona. I had a basic room but it was clean and had good Wi-Fi. Most people visiting Barcelona will have a problem with the location because the hotel is located far from the main areas of Barcelona. The Metro is outside zone A and you have to pay for another ride (and switch trains) once you reach the Zone A boundary.

It was fine, but there were definitely bed bugs in my room. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, they tried to tell me that it was just mosquito bites. Would have preferred to not have to worry about potentially tracking bed bugs home. :/

The whole hotel it is nice as well as rhe rooms, nice and clean. The only little bad think is that the actual rooms and showers are really really small. It could be an option to stay.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. While not spacious, it is comfortable and has all necessary amenities. There are so many great things to do in Barcelona, there is no need for a large hotel room because you just don't spend much time in it! The location is ideally located in Barcelona - if you like walking, it is withing walking distance of Plaça de Catalunya. If not, it could not be more conveniently located to the Metro. Walking distance also from Sagrada Família. Very near shopping on Passeig de Grácia, and also the less-frequented but no less interesting shops and restaurants on Via Laietana. The staff is generous and kind. Grocery store next-door. A small balcony looks onto a neighborhood street that is quite charming. This street can be a bit noisy at times, but I did not find it bothersome. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Good value hotel in the city center

Location of this hotel is its biggest benefit. You can walk from here to all major attractions in the city center and to the beach as well (cca 30-40 min).
Room was very simple but clean and quiet. It did not have a refrigerator.
I would stay there again.

BED BUGS!! DONT STAY!

Hello, after arriving to the hotel and staying 1 night we awoke to many big bites all over our bodies. We believe this hotel is un sanitary and has bed bugs... I contacted the hotel but they told me they checked and saw nothing, however we both have the bites and after researching more it's definitely bug bites. I asked for my money back due to our stay but no luck. I would recommend no one stay here...

Convenient, clean and friendly hotel

Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful during my 6 night stay. When there appeared to be a problem with the toilet, I was moved to another room that was much bigger than my original room and with a small balcony. I came for medical treatment with a local doctor rather than as a tourist, so reception got me my needed taxi every morning to make it to my appointments on time. The rooms are serviced everyday and all was very clean. The hotel's free Wi-fi connection was fabulous and something that I relied upon. The hotel is within easy walking distance to many places to eat, local markets for fresh fruit and vegetables, plus small local shops to pick up things to take back to your room. There is a place that sells varied flavours of empanadas which I adore just along the same road as the hotel walking toward a little plaza where you can sit and relax. .High street shops and brand names such as Guess, Prada, etc. are also within walking distance for those that might prefer high end shopping. You can also take a jump on and off tourist bus which is along the same direction. I will be returning to stay here again in future. Although, I found all of the hotel staff helpful and friendly, I want to extend a special thank you to Ruth, on reception, for going that extra mile in checking that I was comfortable and happy, especially following my medical treatment. Thank you, Ruth. I will be back.....

Small but Very very good

We needed to extend our stay in Barcelona unexpectedly and the hotel we were staying in could not accommodate us. A lucky break for us, as it turned out. The hotel is small, with only two floors, and modest amenities (vending machines!).
The staff is wonderful, the place is immaculate, and the location is amazing. Enough for a tourist to do, but with the feel of a real place where real people live.

Recently renovated but stupid mistakes made, light switch for bathroom at the hinge side of door, who looks there. Shower too small when you turn you turn off the water. Sink so small that you bang your head on the mirror when you lean over it. Stupid little things that spoil an otherwise very good renovation.

The hotel was small but was worth it for the location. Right off the main strip with all of the shopping, a 5 min walk to the Gaudi Castle and a 20 min walk to the Sagrada Familia. He Hop on- Hop off buses were also on the Main Street which made getting around easy. A 35 min walk to the beach took you right down.

Me & My Lovely Wife stayed here for 5 nights while In Barcelona . We booked this hotel through Hotels.com as had good reviews and reasonable price and we had one night for free as the reward from hotels.com after previous bookings from other hotels from this page.
Room we had was quite small , Especially bathroom where space was only for one person inside ;) with
small balcony to the street, but was nice , clean & tidy ;()
Size of the room Didn't bother us so much , as we spend most of the time outside discovering City.
The best thing about this place for us was location.
On the small streets next to hotel , they have a few cafes for breakfast and coffee , cool bars - Especially 'OLD FASHION and Gin Bar'' - must visit for some good Cocktails , also some tapas places.
It is only 15/20 min walk to Placa Catalunya -main centre square,where from there is so close to other places also walking distance , La Rambla ,Gothic Quarter , El Born , Seaside with Port and Beach.
Staff in the hotel was nice, friendly and helpful, especially guy who worked at night, can't remember his name :)
I wouldn't recommend to buy a coffee from coffee machine on the 1st floor in the hotel , as didn't taste so good and was way over to sweet !!!
Overall we are quite happy with our stay in BCN Urban Bonavista

Good location, nice staff, basic but good facilities. Problem is the lack of any sound insulation. Street noise kept me awake till after 3am every night. Spoil an otherwise enjoyable stay in Barcelona. There may have been better rooms not facing the street but the hotel staff could not move me as they were fully booked. The staff were sympathetic.

Small room but awesome location

One of the smaller hotel rooms I've had on my travels in Europe. The room was comfortable, however. The bathroom was also tiny, and the shower got water all over the floor. The employees at the hotel were all very nice and friendly. The hotel is just a short walk to the diagonal metro stop, so it is close to everything in the city. the neighborhood was noisy at night, but with the balcony door closed, you can't hear much. We liked the balcony door open because of the amazing breeze we got. I would stay here again, it was worth the price.

You get what you pay for. Cheap place to sleep. Bathroom is the smallest and most awkward I've been in. No kettle or maps or introduction to Barcelina or fridge or smiles. You're just paying for a bed in a fairly central location. Please don't have high expectations. And please don't pay too much.

The room was not that big, but the bed was comfortable. It's close to bus and underground stations.
The biggest con is the size of the shower area, as you barely move inside it.
The biggest pro for us was the vending machines (cold and hot drinks, food) inside the hotel.

Good for the price.

The best part about this hotel was the very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Very helpful when it came to recommendations and helpful tidbits about navigating Barcelona. The room was interesting as it had 4 beds and 2 pull out couches. Made for an interesting sleeping experience. The door to the balcony did not lock. shower stayed hot but I dreaded taking a shower as it is a square just big enough to hold your elbows out. Along with the small size, the shower curtains always get stuck to your legs which is uncomfortable.

The hotel is ok, simple, safe, the location is good, you can walk to Plaza Cataluña (20 minute walk) and to Las Ramblas a 30 minute walk from the hotel, it is near also to Paseo Gracia where you have all the expensive stores and El Corte Ingles, you also have little cafes and family owned restaurants. Don't expect good customer service because it is the normal in Barcelona (shocking)but the people at the hotel was pretty nice, it could be better!

Very basic place for 1-2 nights stay

This is a good place to stay for a budget traveler for 1-2 nights. Located not far from the touristic center of Barcelona. It was a bit hard to find, the Google street photos did not show it (outdated). The hotel is small and very basic, my room was tiny, barely enough space for one bed. You get what you pay for, I cannot complain about anything.

We were ment to stay at a different hotel within the same organisation (company), but they could not accommodate us for some unforeseen reason. As we had already booked in advance, and this happend on the day we were supposed to move in, we were asked to stay with BCN urban bonavista instead. The hotel is far away from the original hotel and this meant several inconveniences for our stay. The hotel did nothing to help us with these inconveniences until we had complained twice. The staff was also little welcoming.

Good hotel in great location, minus broken air con

The overall experience was good and I'd probably return but the air con did not work (which was fine to an extent because it wasn't super hot but the room would get a bit humid during the night, would have asked to move room during the summer though). Also did not appreciate the multiple charges for the safe/locker (2 euros) every time we needed to lock away valuables. House keeping was good and done every day. about 10-15 minute walk to Sagrada Familia and very close to transport links which was very handy (not that the city center was very far anyway).
The shower was a bit of a pain to use because of small cubical with curtain (glass doors would be better as water got everywhere) and could not adjust shower head height. Was a bit annoying that we had to leave our keys with reception every time we went out but that was a massive inconvenience.

Short break and first visit to Barcelona. The hotel was difficult to find as it is in a small side street and quite inconspicuous but once there, we received a warm welcome. Our room was on the second floor in a sort of annexe. The walls were thin and the conversations of our neighbours across the landing were easily overheard, but they were Spanish and we found that most of the Spaniards did talk loudly. It did not cause us any trouble sleeping. The room temperature was set at 24c and we were unable to turn it down, good job it was cold outside. It was good value for money.

It's a shame but it's just too noisy.

Location's not bad and the hotel is clean but you can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms!

Great location in Gracia

This Hotel is located in a great area in Gracia. You are walking distance from most everything in Barcelona.

Good Budget Hotel close to City Centre

Excellent value for money. On side street. Room all that was needed for comfortable stay - good bed, clean en suite etc. Space in bathroom a bit limited. Staff, especially David, most helpful, going the extra mile to help us book attractions and to recommend places to eat. Good English spoken. 10 min walk to Placa Catalunya and 20 min walk to Sagrada Familia if you prefer walking to other transport. A pleasant and enjoyable stay.
