Milhton Hotel its very cute.
Charming, with high ceilings, and has all the basics of a room.
The breakfast was great as well.

Location. That’s the key here.
Diagonal Station is a few steps from the hotel.
Paseo de Gracia is 2 blocks away, and from there, casa Batlló and La Pedrera, are a few blocks apart.

Safe area. Great restaurants all around. Highly recommend Vivo, which is a block from the hotel, and Seasons, which is about 3-4 blocks from there.

The noise is a bit noticeable, particularly during the weekend but, that wasn’t an issue for us.

The staff were amicable and helpful.

If I go back to Barcelona, I would stay at this hotel.

Nice property, friendly staff. We were happy with the place overall. It’s called a Bed & Breakfast though- which usually means breakfast included. When booking room be aware that some rooms only have interior windows. Not really sound proofed, but with ear plugs fine.

Very cute and clean b&b. The room was perfect for the two of us with tall ceilings and a cute balcony. We added the breakfast option and it was a great spread for a nice, light breakfast with coffee and fresh-squeezed juice. The location was also great for walking around and exploring. We would definitely stay here again.

We had to check in out of the front desk hours and the instructions were very easy and smooth! The 24 hr access to water, coffee, and wine was also nice. The only small complaint is that we stayed here during a heat wave and the air conditioning definitely could have been better. We had it set as low as we could and we still were very hot. Overall 4/5 experience though.

This place is Not accessible. There's an elevator to where the reception sits but many stairs to the upper floor where the rooms are. Also this place is geared to staff comfort not guest. They work 8-4 and so any check in after four has a premium surcharge. I do not recommend.

In my room there are two outlets, one is in the bathroom where I cannot put my devices because the position is awkward to make full use of it. The other is close to bed, also in an awkward position. I wish there was one close to the desk.
Breakfast, basic but gets you going. Like the 24 hour coffee/hot water machine.

We booked a balcony room, but they put us on the room connected to the patio which was a bit shady. Also, we received no communication upon check-in even during reception hours, which led us to being locked out after arriving only minutes after reception “closed”. We had to ask other guests coming in for help and could not get a hold of the reception until we used a Spanish phone to call their emergency number. We ended up having a great time here, but it’s important to note that the reception communication may not be great and be careful when booking a “balcony” room.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mihlton B&B.
Loved the outdoor terrace space and generous breakfast every morning. The Coffee/Cappuccino macine was fantastic.
The rooms were quiet and with comfortable bed.We would definitely stay again when in Barcelona. Close to the Sagrada Familia and city bus lines. We had a very relaxing stay here. The desk reception stafd Rodrigo was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Loved it.

Cozy Stay in the heart of Barcelona

I had a wonderful stay at Mihlton Barcelona B&B. The service was wonderful. Check in process was very friendly and provided lots of information. My room was cozy and clean. The common areas were charming. The large outdoor terrace was an especially nice place to be after wandering around the city. The breakfast (very reasonable price) was excellent. Lots of meat & cheese varieties, breads, and some baked goods made for a great start to the day. This was also centrally located steps from a main metro line making it easy to get around. Founds this to be excellent value for the price and would recommend!

The Mihlton B&B is in a good location, which is easy to get to from the airport (via the underground). The video sent prior to our arrival was also very helpful for getting into the property outside of the manned Reception hours. Public areas, e.g. Reception, Breakfast room are nicely presented and clean. Our room (3) was a good size, with 3 single beds, a seating area, a wardrobe and en suite bathroom. There was also a small balcony, with bistro table and chairs; we didn’t use this as it was tiny and overlooking a busy road. The bathroom was fairly clean, although the shower area had a good deal of black mould; towels were reasonable size. The main floor was covered in tiles, it was a nice design, but there were a number of broken tiles. Servicing of rooms was available as required. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. We tried the breakfast option on one of our days; it cost 13 euros each. We ate cereal and toast; the fare was mainly meat, cheese and eggs. The outside terrace was a good place to sit and enjoy the sun. There were additional free items provided by the B&B, e.g. a drink station, coffee, tea and water; nibbles and cake; wine cooler with house red and white wine.

Property can be hard to find. They have a tiny sign on the wall, sandwiched between two bigger buildings. WiFi was down the first night. AC did not work throughout the whole stay. Room smelled like moisture was trapped in the walls; mixed with sewage. Pretty noisy at night for the first few nights.

Staff was very accommodating when needed. Breakfast was delicious. Location is perfect for walking to stores, train station and entertainment.

We were not given the room we booked and paid for. The room wasn’t very well sound proofed - you could hear every word of people talking in the neighboring rooms. However, the staff were LOVELY, amazing location, despite the noise, the room was great - good size and very comfortable. Complimentary wine and coffees were a nice touch. The location is optimal either to walk around the city or to take the train and head out somewhere. The staff is very cordial, accommodating and always there when you need them. The fact that water, coffee and wine were available at all times it’s a plus. The terrace is a really nice place to spend some time.

The location was wonderful, easy access to transportation and many attractions. Our only concern turned out to be unfounded, as we came to the property it appeared to be a construction site, it turned out to be only on the exterior and did not affect our stay. We really appreciated the private outside terrace.

Disappointed by the venue and room. The reception is only open for a few hours in the day, so you need to call and ask for a code to get in, there was nobody there to greet me or see me, just someone on the phone. Elevator is not in use. The whole bottom floor is a construction site, which not only looks horrible but also causes noise in the morning in case you would like to get any sleep. I had the “tiny room” which was pretty much a shoe box with no light, and a window facing the back of a wall. All in all it was pretty depressing staying there because the whole place felt pretty dark and shabby, and for all the money you pay, even for the smallest room, you can get one in a much nicer, real hotel, in Barcelona.

Pictures can’t show the way a place smells. After being in the ‘room’, more like a rehabbed broom closet, less than two hours I started to get sick. Ended up in the hospital, have the receipts and picts to prove it. A health hazard full of toxicity … had to run out of there for my life. On top of it when I communicated from the hospital the dire situation the hotel staff went on a full blown insult filled rant and threatened me with kicking me and my luggage out, all this while I was at the hospital. I had no! intention of staying there (a death trap of a place) but their nastiness and hateful treatment was truly outrageous … they were really angry because they thought they could unload this toxic death trap for a boat load of money on this American woman traveling solo and get away with it. Health and safety should be the #1 priority of any place in the hospitality business. Glad I got out. E!

The staff and service were both wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and the location is very good. Rooms are a bit worn and dated. Furniture is starting to fall apart and the rooms could be cleaner, especially the bathroom. Shower is problematic in that the door doesn't close sobwater goes everywhere and there is nothing to hold on to when getting in or out of the showe, resulting in a dangerous slipping hazzard.
Breakfast is very good with plenty of options, but i would like it to start a bit earlier.

We loved our stay here! The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was lovely with a little balcony that over looked the street. The breackfast in the morning was full of great food with different options and tables inside and out to enjoy. We felt safe here and it was very close to restaurants and two metro stations. We would definitely stay here again!

The air conditioner was on all throughout the stay, I was freezing. The toilet was running all night. The Receptionist was very rude. The doors were not easy to open. It was a bed and breakfast, but you had to pay for breakfast, never heard such a thing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing was the location.

This boutique hotel/B&B is worthy of a look when planning a trip to Barcelona. It’s very economical, and in my opinion, they could be charging more! The building is beautiful and very clean. I loved my double room and patio with street view. I didn’t partake in the breakfast option but, Jorge still handed me a warm croissant most mornings when I would run into him. As a solo traveller, I enjoyed the location near Gracia neighbourhood and near the end of Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia. These streets are very nearby, but you’re a little out of the super dense tourist population. It made finding places to eat alone or have a drink on a street patio easier. I loved the free coffee, free wine, free water, and free fruit. With all of this, you really feel well taken care of. If you’re used to bigger hotels, you might miss having a mini fridge and an ironing board in your room. However, here you have full access to the kitchen 24 hours a day where there’s always cold water available. This made not having a fridge workable for me. Also, I believe they have an iron available if you need one. This place is a top notch gem in Barcelona. I recommend it fully!

We stayed here for 6 nights and had a wonderful experience! We booked the room with a balcony facing the street and enjoyed having drinks there at night. It did get a bit loud there on the weekends because of restaurants on the street and Barcelona life style but I am from a big city so it didn’t bother me at all. I loved the outdoor common space patio and it was nice to be able to get coffee any time and wine in the afternoons.
We don’t eat breakfast but the breakfast looked amazing with cheeses and various cured meats and fresh bread and jams and fruit. The location is very convenient- next to the metro and a bit away from gothic district but only about 25 min away. We very much enjoyed gracia neighborhood which is a 10-15 min walk for its restaurants and easy vibe. Lots of restaurants and shopping within 5 min walk. Jorge was amazing in giving us directions and recommendations and making us feel welcomed! Mucho gracias!!!

The location and the hotel were both fantastic. Very walkable to main shopping areas including Paseo de Gracia which is like Rodeo Drive. The rooms was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The best part was the staff. They were in communication with me through WhatsApp to make sure our arrival was smooth. I had just sprained my wrist when we arrived at the hotel and was able to borrow some ice packs & got assistance getting into the room. We were given suggestions for dinner, which were all delicious and walkable. The hop-on-hop-off bus stop is also on Paseo de Gracia, making sight seeing easy. Another wonderful part was the little dining room area and patio. It was lovely to sit in both areas an have some cafe con leche or a glass of wine. There is some street noise, as in most places we stayed in Spain when you stay in the city, so you could not sleep with the window open. There is AC if you need it. The sign for the hotel is on the side of the door frame of the building so it’s a bit hard to see when you are coming first to look for the property by taxi. You just buzz the bottom button for the hotel and they’ll let you into the building. The building has a lift so not a problem getting up with luggage.
I’d definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is a wonderful place to stay in Barcelona! The small, historic hotel has a lot of character with all the necessary modern upgrades. It is very quiet although it's in a large city and has a very charming patio where you can enjoy the available breakfast. They staff are very friendly and helpful and speak perfect English. We have already recommended it to friends traveling to Barcelona.

Mihlton Barcelona Boutique B&B is one of the best places I've stayed at.
If you're looking for a central location, clean & cosy stay with the most friendly and helpful staff in Barcelona, this is it!
I was pleasantly surprised by how attentive they were. Starting with the check-in process, I arrived late at night so I had to check-in by myself, they were kind enough to send clear instructions, including a step-by-step video which made the check-in a breeze.
Even though I stayed in their smallest room, the service and cleanliness was superb, the room had the essentials and it was in great condition.
I also got to have their breakfast which offered a good variety - coffee and tea are available all day.

I had a busy itinerary, so I was leaving early and coming back late, but the best part without a doubt was on my last day when I got to talk to Jorge. He gave me lots of good recommendations and transport suggestions for my last hours in the city, he even printed a map and noted instructions on the best way to get to the airport, he was so lovely I wish I had talked to him more!
Overall, this is genuinely a great place to stay. I know that if I get to go back to Barcelona, this is the first place I'll try to book.
Thank you Milhton Barcelona, from your cleaning crew, reception team and more, you're doing a great job! (And if you read this, please give Jorge a raise :) he is truly a gem.)

Jorge was the loveliest host ever - made us feel so welcome and always so lovely. Great location super close to metro and walking distance to lots of places and restaurants. Nice room - lovely balcony and clean. Nice shared terrace area too. Highly recommend :)

The hotel was in a great location. Easy to access public transport. We were up on the top level and required a few flights of stairs to access. This was easy for us as we traveled light. The outdoor area was cute even though we did not sit out there. The room was a little older but clean. We would stay there again if we find ourselves in Barcelona again.

Not a 3.5 star hotel, but just a B&B

I booked two superior triple rooms for three nights. One of the rooms were too noisy. We could hear street noises even when we closed the window. So we asked to change the room, so they gave me a room inside. But the room was standard double and condition was poor. The bath room was so small and looked like a mobile booth inside a room and the sliding door did not close completely. We paid for superior triple room but should stay at the standard double room for two nights of three nights. No refund.
In hotels.com, they said breakfast buffet is available but they said the breakfast is served only on demand and no breakfast wasavailable because we did not book breakfast in advance. In other hotels, we could have breakfast even if we did not book breakfast in advance because breakfast buffet is always open.
Check-in (not check-out) hour end at 2:00 pm. Not traveler friendly.
Luggage store is provided but it is a bathroom storing cleaning tools. No guards. No staffs after 2:00 pm.

This was such a cute hotel right near the metro station. Jorge was extremely warm and friendly. We opted for the room with the balcony and it was very pretty. Their courtyard was also super cute even though we didn’t get to full utilize it while there.

It was wonderful staying at Mihlton for three nights. It’s a lovely property and Jorge who manages the desk is the best at giving tips about where and how to see Barcelona! I had two rooms over my stay and actually liked the smaller standard room better. The superior room was on the street side, which was sometimes noisy. The location is perfect for exploring the city and near subways!
