The place was spacious for family of 5 for 2/2 apartment. WiFi was great. The place was super clean. Good value. However, we stayed in the 1st floor by the street so the apartment was noisy. The self check in after hours process was stressful and tedious, as the key can be in another location apartment. It was difficult to understand this process. It requires me to submit all passport, sign contact, pay the apparent and put in a deposit. I wished this information was laid out with Expedia before I book it. Although they respond to email, it wasn’t clear. I had to exchange emails several times. Additionally they wouldn’t give you the check in instructions u til 24 before check in. Basically I flew out of SFO, not knowing where to check in and how to check in. Lots of emails wa tedious and the process was stressful.
If I knew, I wouldn’t have book this property. Although the place was spacious, I wouldn’t book it again. I rather pay a little more to have a better and personal check in experience.

Spacious, well-managed property in good location

Pluses: Spacious; good location away from tourist fray but walkable to plenty of restaurants, Gracia area, etc., and very close to subway stop; loved having 2 bathrooms; good, responsive, helpful management. Minuses: could have used instructions on how to use microwave and laundry; laundry was only a washer, not washer-dryer combo; check-in instructions rather confusion so be sure to email property for clarification.

There were many nearby dining options and a grocery store across the street. The Metro was only 2 blocks away. The apartment was spacious and the terrace was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If your arrival does not fit the options and schedule provided by the property operator, you will live your worst nightmare... Terrible service that requires transportation to different points of the city to access the property if you arrive later than 11:30 pm... The least friendly staff on the planet... Like any 21st century property, they do not have access control boxes that allow guests to access the property during overtime hours if they do not have staff to assist them.,,NEVER AGAIN

The shower wasn’t functioning, 1st day water was spilling all over the floor from the shower and we had to clean the floor with the towels, when asked for extra towels they sent a $$$$.
Next 2 days had to settle with cold showers, the 1st thing of the day cold shower ruined the morning (especially for kids).
I would definitely not stay here again.

We spent one night in this property and had a terrible experience. We had a rental car and we drove to the Sagrada Familia and parked in a covered parking garage, but once we left the garage someone broke one of the car glass and stole all our luggage, this person was following us since we left the hotel. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, I don’t trust them.

This was an amazing property to stay at. We loved the size, the decor, the amenities and of course, the walkability of the area. There is an amazing grocery street across from the apartment which we loved visiting. Cabs are continually on the street out front and economical to ride. We actually went to a football match at Camp Nou and were even able to walk back to the apartment. We walked to the main shopping area almost everyday and it was pleasant experience. The apartment has everything you could ask for, including a washing machine, and we utilized it continuously. We would highly recommend the apartment to anyone.

The place was nice,comfy and clean. The location is very good. The problem was with the service and the staff. When we check in, we were told by one of the staff that we have to take the trash out and leave it outside the door. He wasnt clear about which door. We left it outside the apartment door but we were supposed to bring it out to the main door. We were charged 27.50 euros for that. The staff were not ready to listen to us and keep insisting that it was stated in terms and conditions. First of all, if we didn’t want to take out the trash, why would we collect them and put it together. The staff was rude to us when asking us to pay. Definitely not going back again because of the service.

the washer machine was not working and the TV was not receiving all the channels. I called the desk and asked him to get it fix. The following day a tech guy came and states that the problem is the antenna. He could not fix. I waited one more day and called to ask when the washer machine and the TV will be fix. The \"guy\" said: you are on the list. I asked him when will they get fix?. He did hang the phone. I called again and asked for his name. He did hang the phone again. I called again and asked where he was located. He did hang the phone again. This \"guy\" should not be working on customer service. The good news was that two nice ladies (Vanessa and Shara) were nice and tried to help me, but the washer machine and the TV were never fixed.

We booked a one bedroom apartment with a bed sofa and were given a two double bedroom apartment with two bathrooms which was great for my teenage daughter for privacy. The apartment was clean but needed a lick of paint and some mould removing from the bathrooms. Kitchen clean and functional and saved us some money self catering wise. Wifi was in and out. Opposite the appartments there was some loud building work going on, but will result in a rather large market hall when finished by the look of it. Key is picked up remotely from a fifteen minute easy walk away in muntaner street. We got to the key point reception from the airport by train to passeig de gracia and the walked for about 10 minutes. Journey back to the airport was a short walk to the metro station called hospital clinic, then train from sans estacio to the airport. Both modes of transport we accessed by purchasing a T10 for €10.30 a time. This gave us 10 journeys. Mostly we walked just getting the metro when we got tired. Spread money about in different places, pickpockets are rife and target wallets outlined in pockets. On the metro they act in teams of two in crowded trains and lean into you putting pressure on one part of the body so they can access another, least that was our experience! The hotel staff were very helpful. You only get a clean if staying more than six days but we did our own washing anyway. Eating out is expensive but discounts can be found.

The price we paid was really good for what we got - spacious apartment, with 2 good sized bedrooms as well as 2 bathrooms (each of which had a shower and/or bathroom). A real plus for a family which includes 2 children who need a little space to 'unwind' in.
Location is decent, with a reasonable walk to Diagonal or Place de Catalunya, plus lots of small food outlets around the apartment to keep you fed and watered.
What could have been better was the check in arrangements (another hotel a few blocks away) and the level of equipment in the apartment when compared to what was advertised - no microwave, no oven trays and not enough plates and cutlery for the size of the apartment. And the TV remote was really for the matching DVD player but we never managed to find that!
That said, all in all it was a great base to explore Barcelona from and one we would use again, especially if Expedia still offered the apartment at £50 per night :)

This was our second stay and we came back for the spacious accommodation and the good rates. Only problems were some lack of maintenance (dish washer not draining, light bulb out, loose toilet roll holder) and the inconvenience of having no receptionist on site. The service from the receptionist about 5 blocks away was excellent however.

Poor security - Lost IPAD from room

The rooms are average. However the hotel is not secure. We lost our IPAD on the first day of check-in. We left the hotel for dinner and came back to find that the only valuable item left in the hotel was missing- which was my IPAD. This has spoiled by 2 day long break in Barcelona

Great Location, Spacious and Fairly Well Equipped

We've just returned from a 3 night break and really loved our apartment. As we arrived, it was definitely a most welcome surprise to find that we had two bedrooms rather than the 'one' plus 'sleeping in the living room' that we were expecting. The extra space was really welcome with two young children. We even had a huge roof terrace which the children loved to use and was also a useful drying area. Everything you might want for a short break was included, although it was clearly set up for just using as a base and eating out. You wouldn't really be able to cook a reasonable meal with the equipment supplied. This suited us fine but I have to admit I was frustrated by no means of making any decent coffee first thing in the morning!!!

Good hotel, but terrible service!

1.- You have to get the keys 4 blocks away from the hotel.
2.- Cleaning is worst 1 day I left a coin inside the bed and I did found it at night when I when to sleep.
3.- Everything else was good.

A lovely apartment that was the perfect location for us. The check in process took place at a hotel about 6 blocks away and was very inconvenient. The apartment was not well maintained, broken bottle opener, a lamp not working and an overhead kitchen light needed replacing (constant buzz). We only stayed two nights and to get the best out of this place you need to stay a week and use the kitchen fully.

Los apartamentos muy amplios con todas las comodidades que siempre tiene un departamento, hay dos cosas que no me convencen mucho, una de ellas es que el check in lo tienes que hacer a algunas cuadras de la ubicación y la segunda es que solicitan que juntes tu basura y la saques del apartamento.

Appartamento bello a prima vista ma pieno di difetti.
Lampadine non funzionanti, tapparelle che non si chiudevano, finestre vecchie che non chiudevano bene e rumorose, perdita di acqua nel wc.
Pur chiamamdo la struttura non abbiamo ricevuto assistenza per questi difetti.
Ps. Prezzo enormemente alto rispetto all'offerta.

En fin, ren og centralt beliggende lejlighed, men med en del støj fra gaden. Vinduer kunne være bedre isolerende mod gadestøj.
Desværre var der et par negative oplevelser. For det første er det besværligt kun at kommunikere med udlejer over telefon. En mailadresse til udlejer bør forefindes.
Som det andet stemte tider og steder for udlevering af nøgle ikke med virkeligheden.
Til sidst er det en fantastisk idé med de mest benyttede fornødenheder (sukker, te, salt, klude, opvaskemiddel etc.) i en lille pose, men ærgerligt at opdage at olien er 4 måneder over sidste anvendelsesdato.

Very good apartment hotel with convenient location

First of all, the location is optimum as a apartment hotel ; very close to metro station, supermarkets, a large glocery market, cafe & bar for breakfast, and also lacated within walking distance to many good restaurants. The room is spacious and comfortable, wonderful view from the terrace. Enough equioment for a long stay; washing machine, dish washer, electric oven, microwave range, steam iron, etc. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Aucun accueil à l'adresse de l'hôtel !

Pas de réception au Villarroel 163 ! Pour la bagagerie et même pour la remise des clés, 700 mètres à parcourir à pied !! Ce n'est vraiment pas pratique, ni à l'arrivée ni au départ !! Accueil froid à Villadomat, beaucoup plus chaleureux à Muntaner. Problème de voisinage une nuit. Il faut 5 minutes au moins pour avoir de l'eau chaude à la douche. La fenêtre de la chambre donne sur la soufflerie de l'immeuble : quel bruit !! Climatisation très bruyante ! Localisation assez intéressante : à 3 minutes du métro \"Hospital clinic\" et à 2 minutes d'un supermarché.
