We loved our stay. Staff were very cordial and professional and went above our beyond to make our stay comfortable. Location is well placed next to the E11 highway and metro station, and also a good walking distance from the Dubai marina. Overall highly recommend this apartment hotel if you are bringing your family and want to be at the heart of the city.

Beautiful place but 3 things I didn’t like about the place.
1st the shower door was really annoying to get in and out.
2nd after 6 mins of shower the hot water turns into gold. So if you go there as a couple you need to wait 20 to half hr for the water to get warm again.
3rd, 2 elevators but was always only one elevator working.

Immaculate and awesome value.

A very warm welcome at this amazing apartment hotel. They allowed me to check in early which is always very welcome particularly as it was on the Royal Wedding Day, in the UK so I was able to watch everything on the TV. The apartment (1603) was beautifully appointed with plenty of space and comfort. Beautiful bathroom, beautiful bedroom (large bed) and very well insulated from noise outside. There is a nice swimming pool downstairs as well as a squash court. Well appointed gymnasium. The staff were so polite and helpful whenever needed. I put this hotel through expedia and it was an absolute bargain.no hesitation in recommending this place to other travellers and will certainly be here again myself in the future.

Warm welcome and great friendly staff. Beautiful large apartment kept spotlessly clean every day. We asked for a a couple of kitchen utensils and more hangers and they obliged happily. Would definitely recommend and we plan to stay again.

The frigde was running on but could close the kitchen door. Overall fantastic value for money with room service, clean towels and bottled water every day. A quiet but effective air con system, comfortable bed and pillows and great location. Easy to walk to metro Damac station, one stop from Emirates Golf Club and can easily walk to the Dubai Marina through the metro complex. Would recommend Lebanos the Lebanese restaurant on site.

My family and I stayed at Oaks Liwa Heights Hotel for 2 weeks and we had a fantastic time. The spacious apartment was superb and the quality of the service was excellent, from the house keeping to concierge. The only down during our staying, was the fact that the area around the children's pool was not so clean. On our last day, we noticed that the corner of the outside pool and after using the showers, in the changing rooms, both areas were fluded. I am sure the hotel is aware of this problem. We definitely come back to Oaks Liwa Heights Hotel next time and also recommend to our friends.

Huge Family 2 bedroom Apartment

We stayed here for 7 nights with our family. We had booked a two bedroom apartment. The apartment itself is huge with lots of space nice balcony overlooking the lake. The kitchen is good sized. The staff are extremely friendly and the front of the house shift managers was really nice guy. The kitchen needs more cutlery & utilise which we had to request and were provided. They provide complementary bottles of water plus tea & coffee. The zoom super market it literally 2 minutes walk, plus Carrefour hyper market 10 minutes walk. There are plenty of shops and restaurants near by. The damac property metro station is 20 minutes walk, in a taxi 5 minutes ( taxi will cost 12 A.E.D minimum). Marina mall in 10 minutes on a taxi ( cost 15-18A.E.D). The hotel has two pools. One is the kids pool and the other is for adults. The area both are under shelter that is a plus for summer months. However, the pool area needs updating, paint and general cleaning. All in all had good stay.

This place was too awesome. Very very spacious. Very clean. The wifi was super fast and steady. You only need to sign in once and it will stay on until noon of your checkout day. My kids stayed in their nice pool a lot. Will definitely be back again. Definitely.

We got the 2 bedroom apartment, view was excellent, close to the metro and the Dubai marina mall ,like the fact that the rooms were huge ,with balcony,rooms are cleaned daily , they friendly and polite . We checked out June 1st ,they helped with taxi to the airport etc. it was a group trip ,our first time in Dubai also . Will always stay at oaks liwa heights whenever we visit again.

The room were tidy but not clean!
You always should lock the room or the room service will barge in ( even if you hang a do not disturb sign)
I asked them to clean my room when im out! I came back they didnt clean .. i think they understand the concept of cleaning differently ! ( i took one of the pillows to the balconey where we were smoking, when i asked them to clean they didnt take the pillow back which made me go straight to the balconey where the ashtray and the glasses were just there ) so i called to complain about it they were just rude and didnt do anything about it !
Also they didnt bring any new towels
The service was bad ! I hated the 4 days i stayed there

The room was not clean!
You should always lock the room otherwise room service will just barge in while you are asleep!
First day they DID NOT clean the room well!
The trash was dirty , i took a pillow to the balcony ! When i came back it was still there with the ashtray full ! They only tidy the bed but did not clean it!
The second day they did not even bother to come and clean!
And when i spoke with them about it they didnt care and were rude!
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone

14 days experience at Oaks Liwa Heights

I stayed here in a one bed room apartment for 14 days and it was like home ! My office is in Internet City therefore it was very convenient for me. The size of the room is great: a huge living room, a kitchen, a balcony with seats and table, one bed room, one bathroom and a guest toilet ! Lots of storage area for your clothes, bags, suits, shoes etc. Very clean as well. Happy that I prefered this place.

The apartment had 1.5 baths, 1 bedroom and a full kitchen, patio, living room, and dining room area. Layout and furnishings are very nice. Prices were very low per night when I bought the package with flight via Expedia. Location is OK but there were areas we would have rather stayed at had we been more familiar with Dubai.

I stayed in this property for 4 night's with my family.The apartments are good and spacious......balcony is the best part....kitchen is fully equipped....If you want Indian food there are many options near by.....The only drawback is that you can see metro station just opposite to the hotel...but to reach there you have to take around about of the man made lake.....which is almost 1.5 to 2.0 kms....there is no shuttle service by the hotel upto the metro station...which makes reaching metro station (Damac Properties) really tidious. ....I would otherwise recommend this hotel to everyone....My special thanks to Savitha. .........Had a nice stay at hotel.....

I liked the hotel because it had the real \"hotel apartment feel\". There is small lobby up entering and a backway leading to the elevator. At other hotels the apartments have big lobbies with grand entrances and valet, which takes away from the privacy of staying in an apartment. The hotel is in close proximity to a grocery store, Tandoor bakery, and a restaurant on the lowel level. I rented a car, but everything is within walking distance. The metro station is nearby, taxis are outside the hotel, or you can use Uber.

It was more than I was expecting. We booked a two bedroom apartment for 4 friends as opposed to booking two separate hotel rooms, and considering that I selected this was at random, we were PLEASANTLY surprised. The hotel staff was very welcoming and escorted me to my room and gave me a \"tour\" of all of the apartment's amenities. The apartment was great, 22nd floor, balcony, extremely spacious, 2.5 bathrooms full kitchen. It was great. The stores and restaurants (every cuisine you could imagine) was a great plus. I will be back soon. The only downside was some random fee they made me pay upon check-in. Why not just add that to the cost of the room.

Hotel was 'adequate' but they could definitely do better, especially for the price. Stayed here for 2 weeks while they did some work on my apartment. Room was tired, missing net curtains, pots and pans old, cleaners did half a job half the time, didn't come at all a couple of days. All in all JLT is normally expensive, so I guess I could not complain too much. Bed was comfy, place was generally clean but not overly so. Plenty of space, which to be honest, a single person or even couple would not need, but that is the trend in Dubai, more 'Space' equals better, even if it is not used well. Would I stay again, I guess so, there is not much choice if you want to be in JLT. One major gripe though is that I booked this place thinking they were going to be in Cluster D (where it shows them on Google Maps), so I could walk to my office in the morning, nope, they are in Cluster W, miles away. This should be easy to fix, or at least put it prominently on your website or something....

The Oaks Liwa is located at cluster W of the JLT

Nice enough hotel which is located at CLUSTER W of the JLT. Good to know this when trying to get to the hotel and info that website of Hotels.com doesn't provide. Service was good on the occasion we needed it to change the kettle or figure out why the hot water didn't work in one of the bedrooms (master fuse had flipped).
Restaurant underneath and a little shop across the way for essentials. No bar but there is a good pub underneath the Bonnington towers which is a 8 RIAL ride away. Was a decent stay which you need to get taxis everywhere but if you want the beach stay nearer the beach....

Great spot around Jumeriah Lake Towers

Great comfortable apartments within enjoyable walking distance of several eateries, mini-supermarkets (inc a small Waitrose) beauty parlours, small park area with childrens play area and basketball court. Apartments either overlook the lake or the famous Montgomerie golf-course, both interesting pleasing views. Walking distance to the Metro.

Reception staff always courteous and polite.

Our one-bed apartment had a large sitting room with comfortable sofa and two armchairs, a large dining table and chairs and a writing desk. Also we had an outside balcony with table and chairs, (great for breakfasting), large kitchen area with dishwasher and washing machine, (although ours didnt have a full infantry of cutlery and crockery, so check). Our bedroom had a large comfortable bed with nice bedding, good wardrobe space and we had a large bathroom with shower and bath plus an additional w.c further along the hallway - all in all extremely comfortable with ample space.

Our only niggle was the servicing could have been better as often we had to ask for forgotten towels/floor mats and flannels which weren't always replaced. However, the servicing staff were polite, responsive and always had a smile.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights in the 3rd week of january 2014. We had booked it online and chose the \"golf facing rooms\" because we love the game and it is a treat to see the green course from the balcony.The first (negative) surprise was that there was NO golf course view from anywhere in our apartment (apt number 604). On complaining to the reception about the same, we were told that \"The view was there but now there is a building that has come up which is obstructing the view\" !!! We realised that the \"obstructing\" building was made 2-3 years ago and since then none of the rooms have any golf view!!! We suddenly felt cheated and told the same to the reception, but except of \"sorry\" they were not ready to move us into any other room. After the first night, they offered to move us to room 1405 which had the exact same view (no golf course view) as room 604, and hence we declined their offer. Second negative is that the hotel only provides 2 (small size) water bottles for the entire stay and NOT daily. Third negative was that our apartment and room was not cleaned/bed not made/towels not replaced etc etc on the third day. We left the hotel at 11am and returned back by 11pm, and we see that nothing has been touched and no cleaning has been done. When we complained to the reception, all they have to say is that \"sorry, but the housekeeping staff is not available right now and they will clean it tomorrow\". I would not recommend this hotel or management to anyone.

Good all round plenty to do and see if you do not want to stay in. Parking not very well sign posted but staff were helpful. Nice and close to the Metro which is the best way to get around Dubai. Breakfast selection a little sparse if your a big breakfast eater.

Overall pretty good. Had to argue to get wi-fi for the room, although this seems the norm in dubai, they charge a high amount for wi-fi access. I have kids and look at things from their safety perspective. The hand basins, bath tub and shower did not have overtemp stops on the mixer valves and as hot water is heated electrically it can come out almost boiling! I was nearly caught out twice, i would never leave my kids in a tub with mixer valves like that. it only takes a second....for adults it should be fine.

The hotel was good for my business trip, well located and in easy walking distance of the metro.

Spacious apartment, with good kitchen facilities. There's plenty of local restaurants and convenience stores around the lake.

Only downside is the Internet access in the room is not wireless, not great for smart phones or iPads.

Good option for families.

Good and new facility with a lot of restaurants and Supermarkets around. A nice lake where you can sit by and have a nice walk. Quiet area. Room is well equipped and hotel is relatively new. Only issues are: 1) there is a lot of constructions on the roads around the hotel. It takes time to get out of the area. 2) no taxi stops around. Would need to wait for a taxi. 3) the staff is now very well trained. Not very responsive.

We picked this hotel for the area where we wanted to be. The hotel was very good and would recommend it. All the hotels are situated around a lake with shops to stock up on and also many eating places. We found the location central for most places to visit. Only down side is having to ask for towels on one occasion. The pool is not on the roof its under cover on the first floor

Its more like serviced appartments than it is a hotel so its a great choice for famillies, the rooms are spaceous and the beds are super comfy. The kitchen is well equiped with a washing machine, dryer and a dishwasher. The view is really nice but the hotel is a little far from Dubai attractions, we had no problem with that because we rented a car but without a car you will need to have a little walk to the metro station which can be a little frustrating in summer. Generaly we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel for famillies with children.

Great value

I stayed in the cheapest one bed apartment overlooking the villas and golf course. Room was very spacious, good furnishings, with a well equiped kitchen and washing machine. Sadly no iron despite it being advertised. My bathroom had a problem with smelly drains but I might have been unlucky. Towel shortages seem to be common problem. Housekeeping was very random and could arrive anytime between 11am and 8pm.
There is very little around the hotel but it is 7 mins walk from the metro station and 15 mins walk from the restaurants of Dubai Marina. The nearest bar is in the Bonnington which is 15 mins walk. The beach is 20+ mins walk, or 5 mins by taxi. Gym and pool are good but the squash court was always booked when I wanted to use it.
Overall it's great value for money if you don't mind the slightly remote location and the average service.

Apartment was spacious and clean and overlooked the golf course from the 21st floor. The provision of cutlery/pans and utensils was minimal and could be improved but fridge/freezer/dishwasher were good. Furnishings and bed were adequate and comfortable. The ironing board was too small and the iron was poor with exposed cables. The swimming pool was just adequate but the gym was well equiped. Coffee shop and restaurant were reasonably priced and adequate but hardly a first choice to eat regularly. The location was generally good with easy car parking and 10 minutes walk to the metro station. A local supermarket is 5 minutes walk away.

Great Hotel- Great Apartment Design

I was really delighted with my stay at Oaks Liwa Hights but I noticed things that bothered me and my friends. Firstly when we arrived to the hotel it was at night and we bearly recognized it as the lights of the name were broke i.e. “O ks Li a” fortunately the taxi driver knows the hotel otherwise we wouldn’t recognize it. secondly, when we arrived there wasn’t a bellboy available to take our bags, so we had to leave it out with the taxi while we check in and the taxi dropped our stuff outside and left! No one was there to pick it up even when I asked them to send someone out. However, we managed to get our stuff in and then the bellboy brought it to our apartment. They gave us a good apartment with a great view which made us forget the hassle and we were so happy with the apartment as it’s really big and the living room is amazingly beautiful. A day later, me and my friends ordered food and of course we left the place really missy as anyone traveling would do! So we left the cleaning part on the hotel, and to my surprise we went back and found the apartment not cleaned well. an example that I see in other hotels that if you have your clothes on the floor they would fold it and put all in one place, through the used napkins and if there is sandwitch papers they will put it to waste as well. that all didn’t happen! If found the paper of the sanwitch I ate where it is, found my clothes on the floor, my make up everywhere in the bathroom shelf.. it was terribly messy as if it’s not a hotel service! This is the point that I think they have to pay attention to in order to keep their customers satisfied.

Also, there is no food menu for the restaurant which is really weird! At last but not least, the ladies salon in the 34th floor is great!! You have to go to them if you stay at this hotel. I recommend it for people but for a pleasant stay just emphasize on the reception to ask the house keeping to clean very well.

Short walk to the metro station & the marina
Reception staff friendly enough, although if you ask for information or directions they are not the best source of knowledge and do readily part with any additional information that may be useful.
Overall we felt this apartment was very good value for money

close to the Dubai Marina and not far from the Metro Station these spacious apartments are ideal for both business and leisure trips to Dubai .

Opt for a Lake View Apartment otherwise your view will be towards a 4 lane one way road system .

Large spacious apartment. Good condition of furnishings. 10 min walk to metro. 10 min walk (across a busy road) to Carrefour Market. 2 negatives - housekeeping not consistant. Sometimes called at 10am, sometimes 6pm. Not always cleaned to a high standard.Noise from hallway could be heard in apartment easily.

Before I booked the holiday I read reviews of the hotel most were negative, I thought I'd take a chance and was glad I did as it was very good, location not bad if you have a car, subway not to far cabs readily available. Rooms cleaned daily cutlery and towels provided, reviews on this were negative.

Never Again!

i have previously stayed at this hotel and the experience was satisfactory. this time however, it was worst experience ever in terms of cleanliness and service.we did not receive towels for 3 days and the front desk assistant just smiled at us saying we ran out of towels because we are fully booked!no hand towel no bath towel were offered for us. also bathroom amenities were poor and they dont replace used ones.

OAKS LIWA HEIGHTS - Good location, aptly priced as per the surrounding location. The service was good, location was clean and peaceful. However the way the JLT area is landscaped, you need to walk around a lot to get to the nearby buildings or else take a TAXI all the time. Hotel service was good, sometimes the house keeping would forget to stock up with towels and stuff, but just a call awa to reception and the issue is taken care off.

Liwa Oaks - more than I ever expected

This apartment hotel was excellent - the staff were friendly it my stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family. There is a 24/7 grocery store around the corner where you can stock the fridge - a full kitchen two bathrooms, washer and dryer a huge amount space and very comfortable. Their international calling rates were also very reasonable. Quick walk to the metro which gets you anywhere you may want to go in Dubai. My Dad was in awe of this hotel and that made my stay even more enjoyable - the buffet was delicious. Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful

Oaks Liwa Heights Hotel Apartments

Very impressive apartment which was spacious and clean. The view from the balcony was incredible especially at night. Location good as 5 minutes walk from the metro was proved to be convenient for getting about rather than a taxi. would definitely book this apartment again next time I visit Dubai.
