Our family stayed at Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites in the Palm Jumeirah and Marina area. The reception team was very friendly. The front desk manager, Rania, personally escorted us to our suite. The three-bedroom layout, with a large balcony overlooking the Palm, offered excellent space for both relaxation and family living. The full kitchen was well equipped and practical.
Hari from the reception team kindly introduced the nearby Marina area to us. His warm tone and attention to detail showed true professionalism in guest service.
The suite was extremely spacious and clean. It is not positioned as ultra-luxury, but the design and maintenance demonstrate genuine care and quality. Breakfast was refined and enjoyable, and the service staff were attentive.
The location is highly convenient. It is within walking distance to Dubai Marina’s shops and restaurants, with lively waterfront views, especially in the evening.
Overall, this hotel provides comfort, good service, and an excellent base to explore the Marina district.

Beyond Expectations: The Unforgettable Service at
Having stayed in hotels across Europe, Asia, and North America, I had always believed India offered the pinnacle of service. However, my experience at this Marriott in Dubai pleasantly surprised me! The level of care and helpfulness from the entire staff was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, John, the front office lead, made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our needs with such efficiency. When my child unfortunately fell ill during our stay, the compassion shown by the staff was truly heartwarming. Jamila, in particular, went above and beyond, thoughtfully offering soup and porridge. This level of care extended to all our interactions; every staff member we encountered was friendly and eager to assist. Even the convenience of staying in the pristine penthouse, where everything was readily available, was enhanced by their prompt service. When a couple of us faced delayed flights, the hotel staff, including John and others, were so accommodating in extending our checkout time. It was an absolutely outstanding stay, and the exceptional dedication and genuine care of the entire team, especially Jamila and John, made it truly memorable.

The location is good right next to the marina. The suite was wonderful. Sofas could do with upgrades apart from that every thing was excellent. But it was the staff that made our stay. From check in to check out the were all very good to us very helpful. We had a free upgrade and early check-in would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

I was confused how I could only book an apartment (or suite) at this hotel. It cost me approximately £180 a night for 2 large bedrooms, a lounge diner, two bathrooms, a separate WC (so 3 in total), a fully fitted huge kitchen, a washing machine, an ironing room with a spare bed and a balcony. The food was excellent and service to match.

An AMAZING property to stay at. very friendly staff who are always happy to help. The Marriott is in a perfect location with lots of things to do close by. Room service and cleaners did an incredible job tidying the room on a daily basis. I will also mention the FANTASTIC balcony view of the marina and would highly recommend getting this room. Unlike other hotels the Marriott didn’t place any cheeky charges on our bill and were very friendly in helping us get what was needed. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone and will be staying here next year also! The property also has complimentary jacuzzi, gym and a pool as an added bonus.

The 2 bedroom suite we stayed in was very large and the location of the hotel was excellent right by the Marina. The view from our suite on the 11th floor was amazing over looking the sea and the palm. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was my Husband's 50th Birthday and they brought a lovely birthday cake and left in our suite. I would definitely stay here again if i come back to Dubai.

This was my second time staying here and it was excellent! It’s the perfect location. I love the marina walk. It’s such a peaceful area. The staff, Dileep, Arun and Roopali were always so kind and helpful when ever we met them. The rooms were exceptional, and cleaned perfectly every day! Thank you to Nerie and team for organising such a sweet surprise for my aunts 50th birthday. She loved the decorations... she could not stop crying when she saw them. Overall we had a perfect holiday! Thank you so much! I will be staying here again!

The staff were great but i had nats (flying bugs) in my bathroom & the water in the master suite was brown & the men cleaning crew really didnt clean my room well. And didnt leave tops to the coffee cups & wash the dishes without using soap. And the last day the resturant was super slow. But due to the staff being really super nice i would stay here again & them willing to make things right.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this hotel! We stayed at the 2 bedroom suite with a sea view. The staff was so helpful with any requests we had. One day I thought I had lost my phone and all staff tried to help me figure out where I had lost it including checking the CCTV cameras for me. Turns out I lost it in the taxi ;)

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location for both the Marina, JBR and Barasti Beach and although looking tired in a few places, the rooms were large and clean. Note that there is currently (Jan 2018) a lot of construction on both sides of this hotel so rooms can be noisy through the night as construction in Dubai is 24x7. Observatory bar at the top is well worth a visit with great views across the Palm.

Can't fault the staff, freindly helpful and courteous at all times during our stay. Short walk to restaurants and supermarket in the Marina and not too far from the tram or Metro. Pool area OK but overlooks extensive construction works offshore. Always taxis available so getting around wasnt a problem and also free bus at certain times for beach and malls. There are also hotels a short walk across the road with alternative restaurant facilities. View from the Observatory bar on top floor is worth taking in although currently a lot of construction works.

The staff at this hotel are excellent. They are very helpful and pleasant. The shuttle to kite beach and shopping malls is a welcome service as taxi bills soon add up during your stay. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to JBR but it’s along a main road and not pleasant in the heat. Kite beach is much nicer anyway. The construction going on directly opposite could be a put off for some people but my husband found it fascinating. The access to the marina walk across the road is a big plus as there are loads of restaurants and lovely picture opportunities. Overall a very positive stay and would recommend as a base if you don’t mind construction and no easy beach access.

Great hotel location in the Marina however the hotel is in great need of renovation, it is old and could use a good lift up. Being in Dubai and the price per night you would expect something incredible but that is not the case. The staff was also not that friendly, didnt feel welcomed at all, they wherent mean just not that nice as other hotels! some basic toilettries missing in the bathroom and overall if you are going to Dubai I would not stay in this hotel, im sure there are news ones with better locations.

Felt like undervalued guests
Based on all the reviews I read on this hotel, and compared to all other hotels I have stayed at in Dubai, I felt really disappointed with my choice of hotel this time. We were certainly not treated aswell as other guests, who have reviewed this hotel, although, some of the staff were quite polite, and the apartments spacious and clean.
Many other guests have commented on, their delight on getting room upgrades, the staff who couldn’t do enough for them, and also of complimentary birthday cakes, some who had only stayed 1 night even.
My experience - we were initially given a downgraded room , which wasn’t changed to our booked room until 4.30pm the following day, I was even told I had got given what I had booked, a city view, luckily I had a copy of my booking form, which confirmed a marina view.
- there was certainly no complimentary cake or card left for my family member , who was celebrating a 21st birthday, it made us feel very undervalued, compared to other guests, especially as we were staying 9 nights.
- at certain times when returning to the hotel, even when we had loads of shopping with us, the concierge, left us to it, whilst 2-3 would be flocking to another car,
I have never experienced, this sort of discriminatory behaviour before , certainly not in Dubai, where usually everyone is made to feel so special, Still feel gutted that I had cancelled another hotel, as I thought the marriot would be a better choice.
Many other guests have commented on, their delight on getting room upgrades, the staff who couldn’t do enough for them, and also of complimentary birthday cakes, some who had only stayed 1 night even.

A good hotel for families
Fantastic location in the Marina, not far from JBR. Very spacious suites with well equipped kitchen , and rooms facing the marina have breathtaking views. The marina has plenty of restaurants to cater for every taste and within walking distance. Several supermarkets in the vicinity if you want to do self catering. We found all staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff and facilities at the hotel were great. The location is perfect, overlooking the Marina and The Palm, 10 minutes walk to the Metro and Tram lines. The Observatory Restaurant & Bar (Floor 52) has a great atmosphere and happy hour from 5 till 8pm, fantastic views, well worth a visit. Our apartment was great, loads of room and in a good condition. I would recommend this location without hesitation. A great location for families.

Excellent hotel appartment, perfect for famalies
We stayed for 6 nights with our 3 & 6 year old. Location is perfect for beach, restaurants and other attractions. The beach is within 15 min walking distance and the Marina location is surrounded by countless restaurants. We visited the Dubai Mall, the Burg Tower, the Atlantis water park which was perfect for the kids as well as the souks and areas of Bur Dubai. The temperatures when we visited in October were in mid 30s centigrade so a litte hot for long outdoor exposure unless near a pool. All in all a positive first ever trip to Dubai and we would return when the kids are a bit older so we can explore more of what Dubai has to offer.

Our stay started with an early check in, as flight was overnight, so we went to the spa, which was lovely!
The suite we were given on the 8th floor was huge and fab but the cold water was warm so we were moved to the 32nd floor - slightly smaller suite but fantastic views of the Palm! Hotel staff were very accommodating when it came to the move!
We were a family of 5 so we had a suite with 2 bedrooms and paid for an extra bed for our eldest son. Luckily there was an extra room, where the bed was placed and although it didn't have a window it was great for just sleeping in!
Every evening, when we arrived back at the suite, the beds in the bedrooms had been neatened up, we had a bottle of water each, with individually wrapped dates and they had sometimes helpfully put on the dishwasher for us!
Sadly, my son's bed was not included in this housekeeping. His bed was never made and he never received any water or dates. We even left the door of the room open so they would see it was occupied. I was in the suite one day, when the water was delivered, and told the housekeeper that we were 5 not 4 and he gave us some extra bottles, but he was forgotten about in future days. This was very disappointing for my son, as he felt excluded from the family.
I was particularly impressed with Mushatof - one of the concierge. I cannot rate his services and friendliness highly enough. He was fantastic and should be highly commended by his superiors for his excellent work in the hotel!

Hotel staff and management was beyond wonderful. I stayed here twice within a months time and each time it got better. Going out for vacation I stayed here and the staff was very welcoming. Even at the restaurants everything was great. I especially love seeing management engaging with guest and helping out where needed.

What was great about this hotel other then staff; is theres a washer/dryer combo unit in everyroom and desk clerks with give you washing pod soap and wall adapters. Pretty much made me feel good to be taking care off in such a dismay. I will always try to stay jere when traveling through Dubai becuase it's well worth it and the veiws are amazing.

We rented the two bedroom apartment and ee love it, big with everything that we need, even washer and dryer, the same only downside was that we had to pay for the room cleaning (only beds), but the apartment, location and view worth the additional fees

We had a lovely 2 bedroom suite of massive proportions which was upgraded to a Palm view free of charge. There were three bathrooms and a cloakroom and also a maids room. The location is great for easy access to Dubai Tram and the Metro as well as the Water Bus which runs up and down the Marina. Yes there is building work around but where in Dubai are they not building. There were three restaurants on site which was useful as it was Ramadan. Would highly recommend this hotel.
