The only mirage at this hotel is that it pretends to be a 5 star luxury hotel. In reality its an overpriced outdated accommodation. In our room the ceiling light was hanging sideways and filled with dead bugs. The furniture had extensive damage. The staff is completely incompetent saying that they would fix the room but never did after three days of asking repeatedly. Their communication via text message was extremely frustrating with multiple reservation errors. Lastly the restaurant are unsanitary with multiple utensils with encrusted food. The food is mediocre and expensive. Only at the of our stay after many complaints was part of our bill adjusted. Avoid this place at all costs!

Wonderful experience & stay at O&O Royal mirage. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We got an upgrade because of the noise from the construction which was such a pleasant surprise. The facilities and grounds are beyond beautiful. Wish our trip didn’t end! Thank you to our host John for helping us with reservations and the staff at Rotisserie and Olives for accommodating my son’s food allergies and the ladies at the kids club who took care of our kids so much that they didn’t want to leave. We had an amazing family vacation! Only remark was the service at Drift beach club was lacking compared to the rest of the resort but I’m mindful that it is a separate group.

A True Arabian Paradise – The One&Only Royal Mirage Is Perfection

From the moment we arrived at the One&Only Royal Mirage, we were transported into what felt like a stunning Arabian themed paradise. The resort is breathtaking, every archway, mosaic, lantern and courtyard is designed with the most intricate detail. Even the soft Arabic music playing in the lobby set the tone and made us feel instantly relaxed. It’s these small touches that truly elevate the experience.

What stood out most compared to other 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at in Dubai was the calmness. Despite being a luxury resort, it never felt crowded or overwhelming, just peaceful, elegant and beautifully serene. It’s rare to find that balance in Dubai.

The service was exceptional from start to finish. A huge thank you to Sanoop/John at the front desk for the warm hospitality and constant support throughout our stay! At The Olives restaurant, Christina and Pawan made our mornings unforgettable, their kindness and attention to detail turned breakfast into a daily highlight.

We also dined at Eauzone, Celebrities, and Trèsind — all of which we would highly recommend for incredible food and atmosphere.

The way the resort catered to our daughter made the stay even more special. She absolutely loved the outdoor play area, swimming pools, kids’ club and children’s food options especially the pancakes, porridge, seabass and French fries! The staff were so warm and attentive with her, making her feel just as valued!

The hotel and grounds are fantastic, absolutely faultless and in an incredible location.

Staff are all very friendly and either we were very unlucky or the service levels could be improved though, with a few lacking small touches:

- poor intro / day 1 experience
- poor clarity on areas, the lobby bar appeared to be for the ‘manzil’ club members only due to signage
- missing items from the menu’s
- average breakfast / poor breakfast experience with no ‘day 1’ recognition
- poor explanation of the grounds e.g adults only pool wasn’t clear regarding bookings
- room not cleaned until around 7pm day 1 (when we were trying to get ready to go out)
- turn down service missed on the last night
- 4am check out last day and no offer of breakfast takeaway, something I’d expect for a 5 start hotel

Very disappointed in the Expedia benefits scheme.
- VIP room upgrade. The hotel didn’t know anything about this/denied knowledge. Upgrades were available online for this duration but not offered or provided.

- it took 4 visits to receive the appropriate food & beverage discount advertised on Expedia. Staff tried to say this was only for food and soft drinks. Very disappointed in needing to argue this point. If the discount was on food and soft drinks and that was explained it would be no issue but this is not what was stated.

An Unforgettable Stay at the Arabian Court – Thanks to Linn!

Customer service is unmatched. Never seen this high level of hospitality!
We had the pleasure of staying at the One&Only Royal Mirage (Arabian Court) for just under a week, and our experience was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth that we immediately felt at home.

The entire staff was exceptional — the attention to detail, the genuine hospitality, and the seamless service throughout our stay truly stood out. However, we want to give special recognition to one individual who made a lasting impression: Linn, the front desk receptionist.

Linn was absolutely terrific in every interaction. From treating us to rose water each evening, offering thoughtful restaurant suggestions, and going out of his way to make our children feel special, he consistently went above and beyond. His charisma, warm personality, and clear passion for his job were evident in every moment.

What truly touched us was that Linn came in on his day off with a handwritten letter to send us off to our next destination. That small act of kindness says everything about his character and dedication.

We usually enjoy trying new places when we travel, but thanks to Linn, we just might return to the Arabian Court again. Thank you, Linn, for making our stay so smooth, memorable, and heartwarming.

We enjoyed our stay and the service was top notch. My only negatives are the pool closings too early and the meal prices. I have never before paid $20 for a single beer anywhere in the world. Also, the hotel does not have a convince store which to me is odd. If you want snacks you are stuck with the mini bar but most people will not want to pay $25 for a small bag of chips or $100 for a small bottle of liquor.

Bit disappointed in it as a One & Only. Decor is a bit dated, hangers all scratched, the only loungers by the adult pool which were in the shade need to be reserved and paid for so you are left at the noisy large pool while the adult pool is empty... We were at The Palace.plus side is gardens are lovely and Indian restaurant Tresind excellent.

The Arabian Court, further down is as some reviewers have said surrounded by noisy construction which looks like it has some time to go. This affects their pool.

Shocking that they still give out plastic water bottles by the pool, our hotel in Abu Dhabi had branded cardboard boxes of water they gave out.

In summer the waterpark access is awful, it is far too hot our kids love waterparks but refused to go back after the first day. It is not helped by being made to park in open air parking, queuing for a bus, queues without AC to get tickets and then to crown it all waiting in the heat while 3 shuttle busses sat running their engines with the drivers asleep at the back- had to finally get a security guard to bang on the window!

We had a fantastic stay at One&Only Royal Mirage Arabian Court. The hotel was beautiful, but what really stood out was the wonderful team at breakfast. They were exceptionally friendly and brought so much joy and laughter to Ryan and Ayla every morning. Their warm hospitality made our experience truly memorable.

This will definitely be one of the hotels we return to again. Highly recommended!

The property is beautiful, but everything else is pretty underwhelming. There is an awful smell in the hallways, some combination of sewage and intense cologne. The check-in experience was very slow (about 25 min with no one else even in line). the service workers are all friendly but they seem new and nervous. Granted, they are working really long hours. The restaurants other than the breakfast buffet were always empty and kind of sad.

I’d prefer to stay at Al Qasr hotel up the street next time.

They charged me extra 175 aed
Because i booked 2 adults initially and I ended up coming alone with two kids so they charged me extra for one more kid. They never gave me an upgrade, even though I get an upgrade with my Expedia status.
There were never taxes on the staff seem to be very confused about getting me a taxi which took too long

Also, there’s no adult pool. It’s only one noisy pool for kids.
Don’t get me wrong I have kids, but I also need some time alone at an adult

We love staying at this hotel so much . The staff are so welcoming, helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble , from helping us book restaurants and taxis to arranging airport transfers and spa treatments. Complete luxury and relaxation. We stayed in a Manzil room which meant we got afternoon tea and drinks in the evening, and a beautiful room. We experienced a hammam for couples and became a trial falconer. Fabulous holiday!

Fantastic hotel all in all. Most certainly a 5 star, retaining it's Arabian charm in a modern city.

Staff were exceptional as was the food and facilities on offer.

The only thing you'll need to note is that this is a beach hotel in a city. Consistent noise from building all around on the marina off the beach you get regular boats playing loud music between 4-8pm.

If this isn't an issue for you, it's a 10/10 hotel without a doubt.

We spent a wonderful 4 days at The One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai. I cannot say enough about the friendly customer service from every staff member we encountered, from the front entrance to the restaurants and pool and everywhere in between. The hotel itself is perfectly situated in a quieter area near Media City and conveniently located near the Tram for easy access to the Marina or downtown Dubai. Beautiful and refreshing pools and gorgeous beach access. The buffet breakfast and meals we ate at the hotel restaurants, Olives and Trésind, were delicious! We would definitely recommend booking here and would stay at this One & Only location if we were to return to Dubai.

The room decor in The Palace area is outdated, whie slow room services, the room air conditioning eas not cooling good, the pool and beach services only offer drinks and don't provide any food options including basic items like french frise. This is the only hotel I stay at whilst visiting Dubai, I have stayed here numerous times and it never fails! I would like to thank all the staff for being so helpful and generous, I walked into my room and was gifted a beautiful bunch of flowers - wish I could bring them back with me to London. I want to thank Saif and Atif at the main entrance for always being helpful and making me feel comfortable - they went over and beyond to answer any query I had. The amenities in the hotel are wonderful - just wow!

Worst \"luxury\" experience ever. The only palace part is its name: check-in not ready before 6pm, fridge not stocked up, cleaning lady vacuuming in front of the door at 8:30 in the morning talking loudly on the phone, keys never working (yes, I have a phone, like 100% of your clients, change your key system don't ask us to not put the keys near them), late check-out granted one night, revoked the next day, room not even that great, food average. It's going to be a one and never again for me!

The hotel is beautiful and service was excellent. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this property.
