I had a 2 night stay at the Tamani Marina Hotel. The rooms and communal areas are huge and very clean. It has a great outdoor pool for night swimming, and indoor pool with hot tub, sauna and steam room.

the staff were very helpful. they lent me a phone charger and plug adapter.

And when my mobile phone broke and I lost access to apple pay the hotel helped me contact my family in the UK.

I found Glacy and a night shift manager (i didn't catch his name) on reception friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

In fact most of the reception, maintenance, cleaning, gym and leisure teams where helpful. A few grumpy ones

The downside for me was the central location was noisier than I expected (traffic). But the upside is the location is c 2mins away from a tram stop, close to the beach and Spar for food suppliers.

This was a great property and the room was outstanding. I would definitely go again. Staff were very friendly too. I had a little annoyance whilst they checked mini-bar use on departure which took 30 mins and made me under pressure to get to the airport so perhaps this can be improved. Apart from that excellent.

I loved my stay at Tamani! It was a last minute booking and I'm so glad I chose it. Most reasonably priced hotel in the Marina area. Very comfortable bed, ideal location, delicious breakfast, beautiful amenities, and great customer service. No complaints at all - would definitely recommend to anyone!

room is classic which I like it.

Breakfast start late. I was told at hotel reception that it start 7am, but waiter was not there at the time.
2nd day was also same. hotel staff switched off restaurant light and said "changed start time to 7:15pm".
If they informed me accurate breakfast start time, I didn't include in accommodation plan..

Due to Coronavirus hotel closed outdoor pool on day2 and offered no alternative except to take a taxi to the beach. Breakfast now a fixed menu when in previous years it has been buffet. Room clean but bins not always emptied daily. Tissues and toilet roll not renewed when empty. Towels taken away and clean replacements not left but that only happened once. Took 3 days to fix the room safe where we needed to store passports etc. This was my third stay at this hotel and I felt standards had slipped since last year. However, still a nice, clean, quiet hotel close to the marina.

Our 8 night stay in this hotel was a pleasant one. The 2-bedroom suite is huge. Beds are very comfortable. Front desk was helpful and provided outlet converters upon request. Self parking in the underground parking lot was easy, we never had problem finding a spot at night. Room cleaning usually in late afternoon which is fine for us, and they leave the lights on when we return around dinner time. That made us feel like home. Only once they leave the floor wet at certain spots when we returned and one of us almost fell. Overall I’d say this is a very good hotel for the price we paid and the room size and service. Last but not least, the buffet breakfast was good variety and it would be better if they change rountinely a few times a week. overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable hotel with everything one needs, but lacking a few things: (1) power outlets next to the bed. The only place to charge electronics was at the desk across the bed, which was inconvenient. (2) more outlets. There were only two and an average traveler has a ton of gadgets. I had to disconnect a few lamps to make room for more. (3) WiFi was erratic, slow, and non existent by the pool. Business travelers expect more. Staff is very helpful and friendly though. Special shout of to the poolside staff.

It was quiet. However even though they checked 5 people in; 4 adult and 1 child, they only had 4 persons down for breakfast daily and we were asked everyday and or told every morning that only 4 person was down. When I checked the front desk I was told the room was only reserved for 4 person. However, we still went for our breakfast and ate and we checked out fine.

Good location

A lovely stay but cleanliness of the hotel wasn’t great in all of the rooms. We had sweets that were left from the previous tenants next to the sofa that were not removed for the whole time we were there. Though bedrooms and bathrooms were kept very clean and attended to every day by house keeping.
Also, the drains were very smelly, however maintenance were quick to provide some air freshener to help.
Great sized apartment and plenty of bathrooms for 3 people. Would have been nice to have some more pans/kitchen utensils to help with cooking. A good location for us as we went to the malls and resorts nearby quite often.
Taxis are often outside in the morning but can be trickier to find in the afternoon.

Very helpful staff. Lots to do, walking distance to the Marina and tram station just opposite hotel. You would need transport to get to the Mall but Taxis are cheap, providing you flag one down and don't use the limos parked outside.

The staff at this property were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for us, especially Carla and Amir, which were providing me with excellent service one week before our check in date. The breakfast offered here was very tasty and full of options. As for our room/apartment, it was huge! We are a family of 5 and comfortably stayed in a two-bedroom apartment which had 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms, a large livingroom/dining room area, ironing room, full kitchen, washer and 3 TVs throughout. Housekeeping kept the place clean and tidy daily.

The hotel is 7 minutes by taxi from the Marina Mall, 10 minutes from Mall of the Emirates, and 20 minutes from the Dubai Mall, the Dubai Aquarium and Burj Khalifa.

This property is highly recommended for all.

Excellent stay at Tamani with my family. So spacious and comfortable if travelling with children. There's a kids play area, indoor and outdoor pool and gym available. Room service was good, lovely breakfast and we were given a late checkout, which was much appreciated as one of us fell sick during our stay.

Location is good, free shuttle to mall of the Emirates, taxis are easily available, Marina mall is 5 mins away and a great variety of restaurants at JBR.

First night was an absolute disaster!!! I emailed the hotel before hand to let them know that I would be arriving at the hotel in the evening, however when I got there I was told the 2 bed apartment which I booked and paid for was not available until the following day. They gave us a single room with a makeshift bed, was not happy as it ruined our evening and had to wait till 12pm the following day to move in.
But the apartment we moved into was very spacious, clean and with great views. I throughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel from then on and would recommend the place due to its close proximity to the beach and marina.

If you like a hotel that has the fresh smell of mold coupled with dirty floors and a whole host of broken/not functioning utilities, this is the hotel for you. What a nightmare of a stay. My family and I arrived (wife, 2 boys and a newborn) only to find the room smelling of smoke. The internet was not working and the bedrooms had a fine moldy odor. The floors were EXTREMELY DIRTY and probably hadn't been mopped properly for years. After complaining of all the noticeable issues (15 minutes into getting the room), the front desk told us there were no other rooms available. We then went to the bedrooms and the sheets smelled absolutely disgusting. We had the cleaning staff change the sheets only to realize that it was the fabric headboards that had the mold growing on them (you can only imagine what a fabric headboard could be stained with). The hotel staff did nothing to resolve this issue. Moving on, when it was time to bathe the kids, the water heater in the washroom was not working at all! Maintenance had to come and fix that (ridiculous when you are on vacation and a maintenance crew is in your room fixing things). We then noticed the kitchen was not getting hot water either. We finally got to bed (smelly beds at that) and the pillows were so terrible that they deflated to the same thickness as the bed sheets. The baby cot that was provided was also broken. Long story short...don't stay here. Buy cheap and buy twice. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I've stayed at Tamani multiple times in the past. They offer single occupancy rooms as well as huge hotel apartments for multiple guests and/or families. The grounds and rooms are kept clean and free of odors. The convenience of having the tram station outside the hotel doors allow quick and cheap access to all of Dubai without having to rely other ground transportation options. Tamani is always a go-to hotel for me.

A birthday to remember.

I can't express how caring and accommodating the staff were at the hotel. On my birthday I had an event scheduled that fell through because of the vendor. The hotel staff were so compassionate with me and they even called the vendor to try to advocate for me. Everyone from the bellhop to the front desk attendants were helpful. I asked them to help me forget this nightmare. They recommended the restaurant in the hotel and it made my night. A birthday to remember.

Excellent hotel in a great location.

The hotel is in an excellent location very close to the tram and leading onto the metro system, actually it is so close you only need walk for about thirty seconds and you reach it, to add to this their is a well known supermarket virtually two minutes away which was very useful. The Dubai Marina was only a stop or two away on the tram and in a taxi only a few minutes away.

Upon arriving the lobby was very impressive and gave a great first impression, the hotel staff including reception, security, cleaners and the gym staff all went out of their for me and seemed very pleasant people.

I used the room service twice for food which was lovely and I felt a reasonable price considering it was room service. As for the rooms I think they were more than comfortable bearing in mind I was a solo traveller. The gym is just as good as any back here in the UK with a fantastic view to look out to, finally although I did not use the pools they looked nice plus their was always a life guard on duty all the time.

You could even sunbathe on the hotel balcony near the pool with great views.

I felt incredibly safe staying at this hotel also I am pretty sure I will return again.

A Less Expensive Alternative in the Marina Area

The hotel is adequate and a short walk from the three other big hotels in the area. It is also literally right in front of a tram station. But don't expect much service. The woman at the front desk had barely adequate English capability and did not know the location of a major hotel located 5 minutes walk away. I also received three different answers on the accessibility of the gold souk from three different people on three different occasions. It turns out all three were wrong, and I never got there. In addition, I asked for a quiet room and got a room on the third floor, right above the tram station. The tram rings a bell every time it starts up from the station. Furthermore, there seem to be a lot of people who like to rev up their Porsches and Ferraris at the intersection, so it was far from quiet. In summary, it's basically a reasonable place to stay in a very expensive neighborhood.

The suite we stayed in was beyond spacious but unfortunately due to the location of the hotel and the surrounding hotels, it was impossible to catch any sun. I did a full 360° turn around the hotel every day and the sun was always blocked somehow.

I was super happy with my stay at the hotel. It had great amenities, great location and the staff were absolutely amazing.

There was hot water for my shower at 10am. Not sure how that is possible in Dubai. The bed was not comfortable. They have a clock inside the room set to the prayer time, so it went off early in the morning. It could not be turned off and battery operated so couldn't be unplugged. I checked out 1 day early and no one on the staff bothered to ask me why. Horrible customer service.
