Completely dated. My room, 511, looked like a room from a third-world country: mould on the wall beside the shower, and mould on the shower and bathroom floor. No restaurant (well, they have one that opens 2 days a week, I guess). Seriously, this hotel can't be in Dubai.....
I left a few pictures in the reception as proof. Total scam.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Dubai Media City for a business trip. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, although slightly outdated in décor and furnishings.

Unfortunately, one evening there was a party on the top floor that went on until around 3 AM. I was staying on the 5th floor, and I could clearly hear and feel the bass—it was incredibly loud. I can’t imagine how disruptive it must have been for guests on the floors above me. I had an important conference call at 7 AM the next morning, which meant I only managed about 3 hours of sleep. This level of noise was unacceptable for a hotel that caters to business travelers.

Breakfast was another mixed experience. The chef seemed unsure how to make sunny-side-up eggs—they were either undercooked and too soft or overcooked. I mentioned this, and the main chef came out to apologize. The next day, there was a new egg chef, and the eggs were cooked perfectly.

Overall, while the staff were attentive and the rooms were clean, the noise issue significantly affected my stay..

Nice hotel. 20min taxi drive from all the good locations so a good place to stay.

Staff are always happy to help, security guard was one of the nicest people ever! Wish I got his name as he was always helpful when getting taxis and when I came back after a long day

Unfortunately there was one night time reception staff who was rude.luckily we only saw her the one time in our week stay.

They have two pools. 8th floor one is more private do recommend going to that one early afternoon to catch the sun

Leaving the hotel Dove was very helpful with getting my bags from room and taxi

we booked a 1 night stay to go to a festival in the amphitheater which was just across the street. unusual to have anything within walking distance of a hotel in Dubai!

as a VIP access property, they did offer an upgrade at check in but we declined as they only had smoking rooms available and we are non smokers. we were not offered the other perks that would have been available to us if we took the upgrade such as access to the club lounge

Nice location. Easy walk to Marina. Concierge service wa great! He arranged a day tour to let us visited Many Dubai landmarks that we couldn't do by ourselves. The tour driver is very nice too.

We booked 4 nights at this hotel after using the Radisson chain before.

The hotel was about 30-40 minutes via taxi at 10pm and cost 100 AED.

The hotel is walking distance to both tram and metro with direct line to the Dubai Marina and Burj Khalifa/Airport so it’s in a good location.

The hotel room was spacious for 2 people. Walk in shower and bathroom.

The hotel has 2 swimming pools which we used - hotel provides towels.

The staff were helpful and welcoming. We had booked a desert safari (separately from the hotel) but they cancelled 10 minutes before. The hotel concierge overheard and was trying to find a tour operator to take us last minute. He contacted someone who agreed a price, but did not know the company name and was insistent on booking. We did not want to do all the activities in the package and it was agreed we get a cheaper price for not doing them. We agreed the price and booked, however, when they called back to confirm, the price doubled and included the activities we didn’t want to do - we tried cancelled, however they said we need to pay a cancellation fee and very insistent. This felt it was being booked with one of their friends rather than a tour company.

There was a huge selection of breakfast options.

I would stay here again.

We had a brief one day stay at the Radisson Blu Media City. Our room was very small and was barely able to fit our limited luggage. The room was very old, worn out and definitely looked like it needed to be renovated. Neither the fridge or cooling unit worked well. Not recommended.

The hotel is in a business area, quieter than other significant areas. It's close to the metro and tram stations. The nearest attractions are the Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Mary Jane answered our questions and made sure we got good service. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of food and is reasonably priced. My friend and I were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

It was very hard to stay here with the shower would leak all over the bathroom and we will be slipping just to get into the restroom. I called for them to fix it and they said that that is how all our bathroom showers are and that it does leak. They brought a bunch of towels and put it on the floor and all it did was make it hard for us to open and close the door if given a chance, I would not stay there again.

The Al Khail Metro Station (Red Line) is about 650mts walk from the Hotel... Dining options nearby are limited, but one could take a stroll to the Marina Walk and there are plenty of options. Breakfast options offer a mixed fare and have vegetarian as well as both vegan and non-vegetarian options... Overall a good, pleasant stay.

Any type of request however seems to send the staff into confusion. i had asked for a garment steamer to freshen a suit. the hotel doesn’t have this so please don’t ask as the resulting circus is not worth the effort. Also had to request a late check out on three different occasions.

The hotel cleanliness level is good, but the rug in the room is old. Housekeeping does a very good job, but they can't do anything about old rugs. The Business Center is poor: two old computers, key boards that are obsolete, and a very small area to work in. Clearly, this hotel is intended for tourists, not business travelers. Emails are either not sent, or sent hour later, and attachments never get delivered.

The hotel is listed as a vip gold property with a \"guaranteed\" late check out by 2 hours. When i asked for the same it was rejected by the lady at the counter and she would not listen to me. She was highly untrained, after arguing for a while she agreed to give me 1 hour (as if she is doing me a great favor). What is the advantage of VIP benefits if you are still going to be treated like this? or is the definition of \"guaranteed\" different for their staff. I shared with her my club carlson number and he was not even willing to try it and mocked me that this is not the same group. I had to explain her this is the \"old\" name for your rewards programme and the same works until now as well (while she looked at me in disbelief). I was given a free drink voucher and told i could have any non-alcoholic beverage for free form any restaurant. When i went to the top bar they refused to accept the voucher and told me i need to buy one drink to get the free one. I went to the sports bar and they told me i could only get soda from the fridge. Overall, everything during this stay was ruined. i used to stay very often at this place before covid and the service has gone very low.

I booked it based on price and location.
It was good price and good location. I didn’t spend much time in the hotel so I wasn’t disappointed too much with overall look of the hotel. I am sure I stayed in better 2 star hotels. Bear in mind swimming pool was closed and only one bar was operating.
Very average hotel but there was no drama, breakfast was good and staff well trained and helpful.
It’s just very dated hotel. If you stay here get Careem bike pass. So much fun to cycle around.
