We had a great stay at Seashells on Scarborough. The beach was lovely and we enjoyed strolling at both the start and end of the days. Food options were plenty easy parking.

Ideal for my five day stay only 15 minutes by car to sports stadium. Kitchenette sufficient for me to cook my own meals. Great for walking on the beach and experiencing the ambience at night along the waterfront.

Old rooms, Would say 3 star accommodation. Outside lights at night shine through the wooden shades that don’t completely cover for privacy. Windows whistled very loudly with the wind blowing all night.

Not worth what you pay for it

Noise going on and off every 10 mins all day and night. Random splash stains up walls including toilet walls. Mould inside door frames. Baby cockroches in bath. Random unidentified insect dropped down from kitchen extractor fan within 10 mins of checkin. Staff were lovely and hotel has lots of potential due to location, but definitely needs more care and maintenance

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Brilliant location, convenient free parking, lovely views. The apartment is older and a little tired looking in some areas, but this didn’t affect our stay in anyway. Everything worked fine, so convenient having kitchen & laundry facilities. Only negative was the average water pressure in the shower-but definitely not a deal breaker! Would definitely recommend this property, we hope to get back there to stay again soon!

Location location location!

Location location location! Perfectly located opposite beautiful Scarborough Beach and close to cafes, restaurants, a supermarket etc etc. Spectacular views from our apartment on a big balcony with outdoor furniture. Nice staff, easy parking and well-equipped.

Our apartment is getting old and would really benefit from a spruce up. Having said that it was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only downer was the poor internet access.

Scarborough Beach is a hive of activity including free dance lessons on Sunday afternoon!

Best accomodation in Perth

We just love it at Seashells. Perfect accommodation with stunning ocean views. Comfortable lounge area, beautiful breeze and great kitchen facilities.

Close to all shops and beaches.
We have stayed here at least 6 times and just love it.

great location to take in the beach and walk to shops and eating places etc. Our only feedback is around the unusual layout with the shower, toilet and main bedroom all being open plan, and the shower being visible from part of the lounge area, our teenagers had to consider where they sat!! Otherwise very happy with our accomodation :)

The shower did not work the entire weekend. No one attended to my request to fix it and then when I raised a complaint about it at departure it was dismissed.

Downside during our visit was people next door kept smoking outside so every time we wanted to enjoy the view or balcony we got greeted with smoke. Also the bathrooms could do with some TLC, tile grout in shower was dirty and shower leaked water all night long.

The staff were friendly and accomodating. Our bags were lost at the airport and the staff organised a cot and were so helpful. We also left our wallet behind and they rang us and held it. Room was clean, quiet and safe. Pools were beautiful. Such a great stay and amazing location in Scarborough

Best hot tub in Scarborough

Absolutely perfect! Great location, great view, even if most of the facilities were not in use due to the virus pandemic we will be back! Our own private hot tub was a great reason to stay indoors for our stay ... unfortunately there wasnt enough hot water to fill the bath & comfortably enjoy a shower too.

The property was a little difficult to find as we arrived late at night. The apartment was clean with the living area quite spacious.

The rooms however were small. The shower head kept dripping no matter which position you put it in and the light/fans in each bedroom were not operating properly with the remotes.

The location is excellent.

Excellent location, beach across the road, Coles and bottle store around the corner. Lots of eating places and bars within walking distance. Accommodation really lovely, great views of the sea. We were there for 10 days and were a little disappointed to only have one clean of our room in that time. We hadn't realised there were bins in the corridors for your rubbish, would have been nice to be told to save our rubbish getting \"stinky\"

We rented a 3 bedroom apartment was in the Seashells second building (Sandcastles) which was very spacious with two balconies, both with unobstructed views of the beach. The apartments are extremely well located with the local supermarket less than 100m away and a wonderful selection of restaurants. The best part for families is the extensive kids playground, skate park and 3-on-3 basketball area and climbing cube on Scarborough Beach and around 200-300m from the front door. Lots to do and see and wonderful to be able to listen to the waves rolling in. We would honestly say that location and the views were the best part of the stay.

Do note that the apartment that we stayed in was not completely wheelchair friendly with a half step at the front door and balconies and you need to use the driveway to access the street. The lift was spacious, clean, quick and well maintained.

Maintenance issues were dealt with quickly and with little fuss by the delightful maintenance staff and the reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

We would happily stay again.

The perfect location

The position of the hotel is superb, within walking distance of all the amenities of Scarborough, and our apartment had ocean views and the balcony provided an excellent vantage point to view the beautiful sunsets.
The apartment itself was nicely furnished and well equipped and had everything that we needed.
The complex had a clean, well kept pool and a sauna. I guess because of the proximity of the ocean, these facilities were never over-used.
We encountered very little noise from the neighbours, but I suppose the owners would have little control over that.
We had to arrive and leave out of hours and this was also catered for.
Overall it was an excellent experience and we would definitely return.

The property is very expensive, so for that price you expect everything to be close to perfect. Location is brilliant, but there was a unit very nearby with loud drunken guests on their balcony until quite late. The kitchen cook wear was dirty and needed washing (super important when you're dealing with life threatening allergies and there's food remnants on plates, pans etc.
