The first night, I was in Room 210 on the front of the hotel. While the room has an interesting layout, its location directly over a ‘Biker Bar’ led to very loud motorcycle noise until 2AM.
Thankfully, the desk person, Pamela, was able to move me to a quiet room in the back of the hotel for my second night.

If you want a quieter room, as for one away from the pool. There is some noise close to the street. The bed was excellent and the room had anything you could want in a high design style. The lobby is welcoming. The restaurant Paseo was wonderful and should not be missed. Second stay here and would stay again.

Overall ok; really good location off Bardstown road. I felt as though I overpaid for the ‘suite’ king room. The pool looked much bigger in the photos; but it was pleasant/cute restaurant/good vibe. The room felt like it was missing a desk/amenities/rugs/warmth. Felt a bit cold. Room appeared much more substantial in photos.
Couch and chairs were a little dirty and hairs were on the floors/couch.
The bed was very, very comfortable and clean - and the bathroom was very clean.
Really would have liked a desk as my boyfriend was working and expected a suite room would have a desk or a table (he used the small living room coffee table as a desk but I felt badly - paid for a more expensive room expecting there would by default be at least a table or desk - my fault for not reading the details). The neighbors and the outside were both thankfully quiet - but you could hear everything - if someone made the slightest movement upstairs you definitely heard it.
Outside seemed safe and quiet. Parking in the back was good.

The property is newly renovated, very clean, and very modern on the inside. The front desk staff was amazing. My only concern was there was no place to sit in the room except on the bed. There was a small bench, but no place to sit and take a conference call inside the room.

The hotel is extremely charming and the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Having a nearby CVS and several food options, this is definitely a location I will revisit when back in Louisville. The Cafe downstairs made getting matcha & breakfast extremely efficient.

Room was eclectic (it was a disco ball factory!) but it was great- bathroom was clean, modern, and shower had great water pressure. Nice sink and spacious. Room could have used a little more furniture because there was a large amount of empty unused space, but we were not in the room a lot. VERY friendly reception staff. Lobby coffee shop has delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffees. The pool area looks fun but we did not use that space. Hotel is a very short walk to fun restaurants and bars. Highly recommend. We would stay there again for the location.

The hotel was unique and perfectly nestled within a very fun area where you could walk to a ton of places in a mile or less. However, the hotel rooms were very industrial and bare (painted brick walls and concrete floors), lacking the comfort that you might want in your home away from home. Our room had one chair, nowhere to put luggage (and they didn’t even have a portable rack when I called the front desk), limited closet/drawer space, no bath mat, etc. I get the motif when trying to pay homage to the industrial history of the building, but it just didn’t translate to the coziest stay. My husband had the protest that there were no real TV stations (I guess it was mid-Sept so this is likely a football thing, I was ok with it!). Now the restaurant, Paseo, was amazing. The pool area was small but well stocked, but it was packed the entire time we were there. The staff throughout the facility were friendly, and helpful. If you’re looking for a modern, simple stay, and don’t desire some of the more simple comforts, this is a good place for your stay.

The only reason for 3 stars was the sound proofing was pretty bad. Whether it was the walls or coming through the duct work the gals next door were partying it up and we wrre trying to sleep. We could hesr EVERY word lol. The room was super cool. A litte dark though. We were on the ground floor and faced a busy street. Again the street noise was loud, easier to tolerate than the grils next door screaming. The window was very old and small. And not very safe looking. Could've used an extra floor lamp in the room with such a small window. Noise eas not anyones fault, front desk handled the request promptly but they should update some of those windows and look into sound proofing. I wish I had time for the pool it looked awesome, The litte bar/ lounge in the lobby was amazing. Will definitely stay again but will ask for a 2nd floor room. Loved the concrete floors in the room, the decor, the industrial feel, the neighborhood, etc. Oh they don't have a parking lot....there was a public parking lot across the street for a fee. It worked fine for our 2 night stay, But more than that it would be to expensive.

It started with check-in, they asked my name, took a card then then handed me the room key. No directions, no information. The rooms were very modern, minimalist, & clean. The phone & TV were both broken. They are short on housekeeping staff, so they didn't freshen up the room for our 5 day stay but did give us fresh towels. There was no trash bin other than the tiny bathroom bin. I've had bigger to-go cups, it could hold a couple of tissues. The pool area was pretty dingy, & the size of a walk-in closet. I'm not joking! Overall, nothing great or awful. Overpriced for a basic sleeping area.

Fantastic if slightly quirky property as we were told was previously the largest Disco Ball factory in the USA if not the World
Every member of staff we dealt with from check-in to check out be it front desk, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful I would recommend this highly if you want to stay in Louisville in a lovely part of town with some great local bars and coffee shops but only 10 mins in a cab if you want to go to Downtown
Pool area spotless as were the spacious rooms
Will be staying again next time we are in Louisville

The room is pretty large, but it smells a bit musty. Like animal or dirty laundry I can’t make it out. The water in the shower takes a while to get luke warm at best. Parking is atrocious.The nightlife was full of sport bikers revving engines til around 1am. Other than that I liked the space, the view, and the service. If you’re looking for a 800sqft getaway and you don’t want to enjoy the town after 10pm it is a pretty nice spot

The Myriad is welcoming and very well designed!
It’s in fun neighborhood and we had easy free parking on the street. Right away we met a neighborhood ambassador! What a cool area! All of the staff were friendly and down to earth! Above all it was quiet! I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel seems to be pretty basic at least my double bed room was. It was tiny and had only a tiny window up by the ceiling which you could not see outside. Also it was very noisy. The room was clean bed was ok…up against a wall on one side so not entirely comfortable. I would stay again but not in this room only because of the location.

Couldnt use pool. Littered with the general public, I kid you not, women half dressed as in kids couldn't enter pool despite hotel stating family friendly. Of course this place lies about having amenities. There is NO gym amongst other things. Further the check in is literally a 4 legged desk and took 2 hours. Location nice, but could have slept on the street also.

We booked the Myriad primarily for its advertised breakfast and outdoor pool—both of which fell far short of expectations.

Breakfast at the Switchboard café was disappointing. There were no hot sandwiches or protein options as advertised—just chips, scones, and dry oatmeal that may or may not be heated by staff. With no nearby early-morning restaurants, we had to walk five blocks to Starbucks to get something basic, which was frustrating during busy mornings.

The pool was another major letdown. It was crowded both days with local adults who had paid for day passes, making the space feel more like a public club than a hotel amenity. One group near the back hotel entrance was loud, intoxicated, smoking, and shouting profanities. It made the area feel unsafe and uncomfortable, especially for teens. There were no towels either day we went—by early afternoon they were gone, and staff didn’t restock them. The pool also didn’t appear to be cleaned, with visible hair and debris in the water.

Check-in was chaotic and very delayed. Room keys weren’t working, so no one could access their rooms without staff escorts. Communication between departments was poor, and the front desk seemed overwhelmed.

This hotel has potential, but the guest experience needs serious improvement before we’d return.

we booked a room two months prior for my 46 bday: we had wanted to go swimming and enjoy the property. we had a terrible stay there was a gay pride event that we weren't even allowed to attend. when the event was over, there was still loud music inappropriate attire, and talk. the gay pride event continued on past the time allotted even.. i was so disappointed

A Little Disappointed

This was our second stay at Myriad. We stay here for access to the pool and pool bar. Unfortunately, on June 28th, it was closed to the public for a private event. There was no mention of this before checkin. If I would have known, I would have canceled my stay and booked somehwere else. The pool and bar are the only things that make this place \"special\" and without access to those ammentites, there are other special locations in Louisville. I checked their facebook and there was a notification that it would be closed to the public on June 22nd.

If you book and it's important that the pool be available, make sure you call days before check in to confirm if it's closed to the public.

I'm not sure if I'll give this location another shot. I believe that Hilton taking over this property has cheapen the experience a bit. The mini bar and snacks have been removed. The room also did not go below 70 degrees. There was no house keeping performed to our room during out stay.

The checking process was ridiculous. They canceled my room accidentally because one lady didn’t know what she was doing and it took and extra 1:45 to get into our room. They did not inform us that there was an event that had rented out the pool and we didn’t have access and we had to buy a ticket for the event to get access to the pool. Very poorly run and managed if you ask me. Has so much good potential.

The Hotel was in Disarray due to having just hosted a “Pride” Party. There was trash everywhere, trash cans overflowing. Pool was disgustingly cloudy. Would have been nice to know this before we booked as we wouldn’t have!! Noise issues from surrounding room in middle of the night, however the person on duty that I called at 3:00 am was able to quiet them down.

We stayed here during our trip to Louisville and had a solid experience overall. The location is great—lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel staff actually let us know we didn’t need to pay for parking because there’s plenty of free street parking nearby, which was a nice surprise.

The room itself was comfortable but a bit on the dark side. Also, if you’re on the first floor, just be aware that people walking by can easily see into your room unless the curtains are fully closed—not the best setup privacy-wise. But overall, it felt like a safe, well-situated place and worked well for our stay.

We barely slept bc of it. The pool is very small but nice and the bar and restaurant by it are great. They were very accommodating! I just wish they had something to drown out the noise. Even within the building you could hear quite a bit.

My stay was perfect and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The only problem I had was with the app Hotels.com. I booked a room that the app showed was available but the hotel said it was booked for an entire month. This app is unreliable and my son and I almost did not have a room. I will stay at this hotel more in the future, but will book with them directly and never use this app again. I am uninstalling after this review.

This was my fourth stay at this hotel, it is, Hands Down one of my favorite places to stay. Every room is different so it's a different experience each time. It's within walking distance of some fantastic locally owned restaurants and quaint neighborhood bars. Taking an Uber downtown doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I highly recommend this place while visiting Louisville!!

When I arrived, they could not find a reservation for me from Expedia. It took almost an hour before the situation was resolved. She said she could not book us into the hotel without first resolving the reservation problem, even after I showed her my confirmed reservation email!
