Staff were very helpful and respectful.

When arriving, they tried to charge $36 per night for parking and force valet parking. After showing my Expedia reservation \"free parking\" they waived the fee. Also gave us two free drink cards.

We paid extra and reserved a premium room with queen bed. They tried to give us a very small non-premium room with a twin size bed, saying it was their premium room (AC not working in that room).
After talking with desk staff, they gave us a room with a king sized bed.

Room was not very clean. Hair in the shower (not ours), bug on the wall/floor and comforter had odd stains. Girl friend wanted to leave. We should have.

Check in seemed smooth with no issues, gave my ID and signed paperwork. checked in at 10 pm to stay local before my son’s procedure the next morning. Started getting calls at 1 am asking if I still needed my room. Front desk checked me in under someone else name. When I went to check out my reservation could not be found, they had someone else’s name connected to my room with the other information being mine, phone number, address, etc. When I checked out I was charged $20 for parking after I booked my room with the parking pass, but was still charged because they couldn’t find my booking because the names were changed in the system.

Wasn't able to secure parking AND breakfast. Had to chose between the 2, so we paid for breakfast and parked on the street for free since it was Sunday evening and paid for the meter via the parking app at 7am. We refused to pay $36 for valet.

We liked the clean room.

We didn't like the lack of parking.

The restaurant was a big disappointment. There were signs up saying they has a full service restaurant. But when we went in the first thing we were told was there were no buns for hamburgers.There wasn't a big selection anyway. So we ordered chicken wings and salad. But no salad . But The restaurant was set up very nicely.
When we went down for coffee the next morning....no creamer.
The staff was friendly but not overly concerned about the shortages except for the waitress. She was very embarrassed to have to say no to our requests.
We always stay with Holiday Inn when traveling and have always been pleased until this time.

Room was clean, pillows felt like nothing. I find it offensive when a hotel charges $39 to valet park your vehicle in a lot attached to the hotel. Literally beside the hotel. How about not employing a person to drive my car beside the place im staying. And why not post the ridiculous price for this parking on the ad so someone can see it b4 they reserve the room. Won't be staying there or any other holiday inn. In the future.

I have stayed at my fair share of Holiday Inn by IHG and I have found them to really good so I try to find one when Im out going out of town but this has to be the worst one. Booked our stay for 3 nights and added breakfast for an up charge for 2 day. We didn’t even eat at the restaurant the second morning because of the service. Service was bad for there only being 5 people in the. Server forgot things we ordered and just never brought them out. The Couple next to use ordered omelets with everything and only got onions. When they brought it up to the server he argued with the couple. We had dirty towels in the room and found ants on the night stand the night before we checked out. When I brought it up to the guy at the front desk Zulua?? He didn’t seem phased by it nor offended an apology. Lastly the fire alarm when off at 7:30 am for about 30 seconds followed by the sirens of a fire truck. So much for sleeping in.

Had stayed here before so knew the bed would be comfy and the amenities to our liking. This time the room faced the front of the building and the traffic noise was terrible….request an even numbered room! Second day of our stay we did not have housekeeping service and had to track down towels and coffee for the room. Overall, it was the IHG experience we expected

The staff were all awesome besides the breakfast guy. I came down at 10:40am on Sunday and he said I could not order anything because they \"were about to close\". He should have just closed then if he was going to turn everyone away at that point. Ridiculous!

Bedroom was a little small, they should definitely put the TV up on the wall so you can have that table for extra stuff.

The price was outrageous for this property. The parking was $36.00 per day even though we parked it ourselves . There was no assistance at all on Friday with the valet helping get our items in. I charged more than what was quoted. The Refrigerator did not keep our food cold and the ice machine was gone. Prior to calling I called about a late check in and was put on hold three times and hung up on. This was a horrible experience and I will never use the property again . It was a disappointment.

Overall the stay was good. Parking was too expensive so looked for alternatives near by. The first night we tried the restaurant downstairs and the service was not great. We were a larger group, but there was only one other couple there to be served. We waited a long time for just getting a menu and it took quite awhile for the food. There was only one person working as server and cook. The other issue that some of us had was not getting everything refreshed in the room...like cups, tea/coffee...I had requested a blanket which never did show up. Other than that, all was good. Staff other than the restaurant was helpful and friendly.

Where do I begin? The live bullets in the parking lot, the car windows being broken, the door lock on our room that didn’t work and then we were told there was no other rooms. Then we had a dog bark for 2.5 hours to which we couldn’t reach the front desk because you only get a busy signal. Corporate was called then got us connected to the front desk to which they said, the guest is at a concert and won’t be home for over an hour. Then the hotel proceeded to over charge me by over $500. Now I’ve been fighting to refund my money for two days.

The room was great and just fine. Breakfast in the morning was horrendous. There were brand new employees on an understaffed team for a Saturday morning rush. It was a complete disaster. The food took forever, we didn’t get the right orders, food was cold or burnt, put ice in orange juice, it was all around terrible. The staff did the best they could, but without proper management structure, it was horrible.

I won’t ever stay here again.

Great location for the rate. We came during the weekend of the Thunder airshow and the fireworks could be seen from hotel. The bartender was so hilarious and made great drinks.

I did not like that there was a valet parking fee of $36.00. When we travel we look for places that have parking. We booked months ago and they implemented this valet 2 weeks ago. We had already paid for the night and couldn’t get our money back or we would have left. The parking lot is 5 feet away. I looked out my window to see my car parked under where I was staying. A total cash grab in my opinion. They do not charge you to get your car out, but they also don’t care how they get your car to you. While waiting the 30 seconds for the valet to walk around the building a car had stopped in front of the entrance. Instead of the valet waiting a few seconds, he took it over the curb to get it to us. This place does not need a valet and should be ashamed of themselves for charging a valet fee. As for the location, great location to get to food areas but to sleep there is almost impossible to. You hear every car passing, sirens all night and people yelling outside at all hours of the night.

Very disappointing experience. The breakfast was poor and served with plastic utensils, which felt cheap and below standard. More concerning, a restaurant staff member took my AirPods. I had to use Apple’s Find My to locate them at his home, and only after threatening to call the police were they returned. This is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place.

The “full service” restaurant was terrible! Literally the worst half of what we ordered for breakfast was not available including milk, breakfast sausage, butter, croissant, cream for coffee the rest of breakfast was cooked wrong. The yogurt smelled rotten. The side of toast for $4 was ridiculous! A stale piece of cheap bread, half toasted, no butter, honey or jam available no discounts were offered whatsoever for all the issues. The valet parking was a joke. $36/day but we had to wait forever for the attendant to show up and retrieve our keys only to have us get our own car from the lot and park it again upon return. We basically paid $36/day for a parking lot adjacent to a public lot that was $7/day. So we overpaid by a ridiculous amount for no service at all. I can only say that the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Everything else was unacceptable.

Parking is valet only, which requires a charge of $36/ day. This means you are paying for the privilege of waiting for your car as opposed to just walking to the car lot.

The rooms were nice and decently clean.

The staff were mostly friendly, but the night staff is noticeably more friendly than the day staff.

Hotels.com said its free self parking on the booking page. I get to the hotel and they wouldn’t honor it even though I showed them. He said a crazy amount a night for valet, not even a self park option. I refused to pay and he discounted it down a bit. I said fine because I was sick of arguing. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times when in town and never had this issue. Room was musky and mini fridge didn’t work. Needless to say next time I’m in Louisville I’ll be staying elsewhere.

Our stay was brief. Found a cockroach in the first two minutes. Looked around and found dead bugs and nail clippings around 3 of the 4 walls. Went downstairs to checkout at minute 5. Wouldn't let us cancel because we booked through a booking site. 2.5 hrs later, booking site contacted them and we bargained to get a refund and cancelation. Not a pleasant experience.

To start off, the staff was not friendly at all! When we checked in we were told the parking lot was full so we would have to park on the street or in a parking garage 1.5 blocks away. We were not told we needed to make a reservation for parking, not on the website either. While our vehicle was in the parking garage, the back window was busted out, our vehicle ransacked and items stolen. As far as the hotel, the shower had mold in it, the floors were dirty and the sheets smelled like they had been slept on. We thought we had complimentary breakfast but you had to go downstairs and there was one person taking the orders and fixing the food, we waited for over 30-45 minutes for our breakfast. The food was good but it took forever to get it. Anytime from check in to check, when we would go to the front desk, the staff would be at the bar talking or on their phone and acted like we were interrupting them. We booked this hotel because our daughter was having cancer surgery and it was close to the hospital so we could be with her. Needless to say, we had to leave a day early because there was no way we could stay in that area of town with a window that was broken out. We will never stay at this hotel again and will definitely spread the word not to stay there. Very disappointed with our stay and disappointed I had to leave my daughter!

Not enough parking for the amount of rooms. Had to park elsewhere and walk to the hotel. At that, you have to pay for parking if you park at the hotel.
The TV only had one station, and no other streaming services (netflix, hulu, etc.)
Bed spreads had previous stains on them, they were clean but not presentable.

The beds were comfy, the AC worked, and the water got warm. That’s all the good I have to say.

Our check in time was at 3:00, but when we arrived they told us our room was not ready. We didn’t get a room until 5:30, but to make up for it they upgraded our room which was much appreciated. Staff stated they only had 2 housekeepers which impacted their ability to prepare rooms for new guests. Did not receive housekeeping services throughout the stay, and had to fetch new towels etc for ourselves. The parking situation was messy as well. The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the bar in the lobby. The bartender was very kind and even gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area.

Room was clean but tiny. It was what I expected from a downtown hotel, no free amenities or parking. Room had a light that didn't work and electric blinds that didn't fully operate. Parking was atrocious. Even though I paid for parking I lost my parking spot to somebody else and there was a spot shuffling to compensate of which somebody else lost their parking. not sure if they had a way to really enforce the parking policy.

We booked a seven night stay and had to remove our own towels and trash, and
had to ask for fresh towels and trash bags everyday. Even after speaking to the front desk twice, we continued to come home each evening to no service. Finally after speaking to the manager we were serviced on our last full day. We had to go ask for TP mid stay because no one was stopping at our room.
The floors were dirty in the bathroom
And stains on the sheets that made me hesitant to get into the bed. So
I slept on top.
The WiFi never worked for TV or computers or phone. We had to use our personal
Hotspots each time
The laminate flooring was coming up throughout, so much so that water was seeping up in bathroom which was disgusting
We had to keep a bath mat down .
It was an over all very disappointing stay. We will not be back.

Upon checking out we learned from one of the guests that his car was broken into. Although it is “downtown” I felt this isn’t downtown vibe at all. Lots of homeless and shady folks. Downtown Louisville has lots of restaurants, bars and bank buildings but no shopping stores.

The restaurant in the basement was a nice option, like that they have laundry facilities but no way to get change (they are cashless), beds are nice, overall it’s fine for a quick trip in and out. Within walking distance to the emergency, rehab and heart hospitals.
