This is an older property in downtown Louisville that is fully maintained. We loved the location which was centrally located for bourbon hunting. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Everything was perfect but parking lot around the hotel. It confused the lot signs and my car towed a way and got back midnight before we checked out. Law, law it's not very convenient for the tourists at all.

The king suite was perfect for two adults and two children on pullout sofa. Very
Comfortable,Clean and spacious. The pool is smaller but has a great seating area. We took advantage of evening snacks and breakfast with made to order omelets.

Valet was awesome however not having access to parking other than that was a disappointment not clearly indicated when booking. Pool was ice cold and water didn’t seem to be properly balanced. Breakfast was a highlight and the omelet station cook was a hit! Overall all staff we interacted with were great and prompt with anything we needed help with. We were not impressed with upkeep of the room or size of the room.

The property looks great at first glance, but was super hot in the hallways and walls and carpets dirty. My room when went to lay down had mold on sheets cakes it was like 1a and they threw new sheets in car at me didn't offer to make the bed and I mentioned it was hot had to game security come at 2a try to turn ac down off and on and nothing next day they had to go in when I wasn't there that helped and the bathroom shower for let all water out and soaked bunch towels cause I hate stepping out onto wet floors my last night they fixed that dint help at were leaving next day And cleaning staff took a towel I had to my flat iron that was mine. Oh well but the staff up front and at valet were great and breakfast but holiday Monday they still ended breakfast early 930 that was disappointing.
And there was a lot of un housed people with obvious mental concerns around the hotel 24/7. I don't think I'd return.

The Embassy Suites was overall a great experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent.

Areas for improvement: we stayed four nights, and no one came to empty the trash in our room until 6pm on the third night. The evening reception was nice, but they were often out of things that were advertised. The hotel is down the street from Fourth Street Live, so it was pretty loud on Friday and Saturday night.

There's not a ton in the area around the hotel, but it's about a half mile walk to Whiskey Row.

Great stay, right in the heart of the 4th Street live party. Free hot breakfast, free happy hour cocktails. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms. Beautiful lobby, several elevators. CVS is attached and to the hotel for any last minute needs. Highly recommended.

The property was relatively close to the Louisville International Convention center. I did not receive the room I booked. When I asked, they stated due to my booking through Expedia I was not guaranteed the room I reserved. Not a huge deal, however I expect to receive what I paid for. I. E. Requested king bed suite and received two double beds. Finally upon check out ask for receipt and they said I would have to talk to Expedia. Front desk attendant in appearance.

We chose this downtown location because it was close to the YUM Center, where our daughter's graduation was being held (walking distance). Hotel parking was very expensive; suggest the parking garage on 3rd Street behind the hotel instead, much cheaper. The room was nice and the breakfast was fine. Appreciated the 24 hour availability of coffee. The check in staff was very nice. The problem with this hotel is what seems to be a lack of security; there are many homeless people in the area around the hotel, and sometimes they seemed to be able to get inside the hotel and up to the 3rd floor to eat the free breakfast. Even though a key card was needed to use the elevator, they would just walk on with other people using their cards. We won't stay here again because even though we like the hotel, we just didn't feel that safe there.

We had a King suite for 3 of us and planned to use the pull out bed. We got in late (wee hrs of the morning) and had to call to get linens for the bed. As we finally settled in, we pull back the bed of the king to get in and there were 2 hairs that appeared to be pubs. We were so exhausted at that point (and had to be out early), that I had my son remove them with a tissue and try to forget about it. Of course he’s the germaphob so sleep didn’t come easily anyway.

The room is also way to small if you plan to use the pull out as a bed. It made the bathroom essentially the hallway of the room.

Honestly only really saw the kitchen staff, who were wonderful. The front desk man acted like we were a bother when we came in the middle of the night.

The breakfast was delicious and staff kept food filled and dining area clean.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Typical breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, Yukon potatoes, bacon, sausage and pancakes, bread, oatmeal and toppings, a couple of fruit choices, and your choice of omelette.
The staff was nice but not as warm and friendly as another hotel we called and went in to for lunch. The staff there checked on you and was willing to help.
Valet parking is $45 and was quick and efficient.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping us stocked with towels. We were traveling with a volleyball club so the complimentary breakfast was a huge convenience and help with getting our girls fuel in the morning before heading to the tournament. The breakfast had plenty of options. There was an omelette bar, fruit salad, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, sausage,etc.

The hotel offers many spaces for groups to gather and hang out. We stayed on the fourth floor which has a really cute indoor green space with seating and some of our girls used it for studying and hanging out. There other gathering areas in the hotel that some of our parents used to play games with one another.

The location was convenient for walking to a couple of restaurants in the area. There is a CVS that is connected to the hotel which was also convenient for us to get cases of water for the girls.

It was a very comfortable stay and we enjoyed our time.☺️

Breakfast was very good - loved being able to have freshly made eggs/omelets along with a good variety of other food and drinks. Enjoyed the property esthetic and the room was mostly nice. There was a random spot of something unidentifiable on the ceiling and some black finger marks above the bathroom slider closest to the beds. Staff was wonderful and the check in/check out process was very smooth and quick.

No TV remote for the room. Not the biggest deal but called the front desk to rectify. Desk clerk said would have house keeping bring one up and no one ever showed. Short of taking the TV off the wall to unplug it, it was on all night. Room was very warm on 7th floor with thermostat turned down all the way to 68 (as far as it would go down).

Bizarre experience. The breakfast was wonderful with cooked to order omelettes. The valet attendant was super friendly. The hotel halls and entry are very pretty; But… Check in was lack luster; with three people at the desk, no one offering to help , and no one else in line. Maybe something behind the scenes was distracting them? Happy hour, good snacks, vegs, and chicken salad. Only 1 pleasant but verrry slow bartender for all guests. PS don’t order the Chardonnay. Planned a family swim, but 2+ birthday parties on a Saturday took over the pool -literally no room. Went back after dinner, but closed for maintenance. We stayed in one of the largest rooms with conference table. It was bare bones, no color or warmth, and old pull out couch. I don’t think anyone inspected or prepped for our arrival of 6. Someone delivered a package of bedding after we arrived; it only had one pillow and a tattered green blanket for the pull out sofa. As we were packing in the morning, A staff member opened our door to enter without knocking at 10 am. No explanation, sorry, left. Overall, crazy experience. Maybe call just before your arrival to make sure all is good upon arrival.

This may be my favorite among all the hotels I’ve stayed in. My room was SO quiet. It’s the size of a small apartment & it was nice to have space to spread out. Staff was friendly & professional. I love the CVS with a connecting door to the lobby. So convenient! Breakfast was great. I had a custom omelet. The meeting room was spacious & we didn’t hear any outside noise. I have zero complaints about this property. Everything is top notch.

All room thermostats are set at 75 degrees but feel much colder. After a sharp drop in temperature in Louisville
, the room felt cold at 75 degrees. Embassy Suites should raise its thermostats to 80 degrees like other major hotels.

We let hotel staff know we would be checking in late, and they said that would not be a problem. However, there was not a room available for us when we arrived. We were told they had to put a room out of commission and there were no more available. No one tried to contact us prior to arrival to let us know, and after waiting for about 20 minutes at the front desk for everything to get sorted out, they ultimately sent us to another hotel.

The pillow was very bad, seemed like it was old and broken apart inside as well as flat. I was woken up at 2 am twice by a loud large group of people sceaming in the hallway. The temperature in the room the first night was very hot and we could not get it any cooler in the room.

The hotel accommodates everything and we loved that they have restaurants and pharmacy! We didn’t even have to rent a car or take a taxi to the airport as the hotel has airport shuttle!

We were given the wrong accommodations and told they were full and no remedy was available. The valet parking was full before check in as well so we had to park in public parking 4 blocks away. The tv in the main living area was broken. We paid $700 to sleep on a pull out couch of 2 inch fabric. The manager was supposed to call about compensation and never did. We will never be staying at an Embassy again.
