Walker in to what looked like a giant bloodstain on the floor icing and birthday candles and ROACHES all over the place it was so bad my 6 year old was scared to go to sleep and kept a shoe in his hand to hit roaches off of the walls and bed the ac barely worked shower was nasty toilet looked like a dog chewed up the seat roaches in the shower roaches in the fridge microwave ever crawling in and out the doors one bed was fine the other was broken and has a giant dip in the mattress for 64$ I could have slept in my car :( very disappointing and the manager had the nerve to say no animals when they already have animals in every room roaches bigger than fish smh when reaching out to property manager he just said NO REFUNDS! I believe they should be taken off this sight because Expedia is actually very nice to save a few dollars and book hotels places like this give the company bad rep I loved my second hotel I stayed at derby inn cheaper than this poo hole beds are so nice and the people are very nice and responsive I would recommend anywhere but here!!!!

When I came to check in he tried to charge me for a room i already reserved. Then hands me a space heater for the room. Get to the room and there were no towels and TV was not working. I booked our room for a local conference 3 months in advance. When we (myself and another conference attendee) arrived on the check in day, the guy at the front desk asked who I was. After stating my name he asked \"Did she call you?\" After stating no, he blamed her for not doing her job to tell me that they don't have a room us. Confused, I asked what he meant. He said that they didn't have the room that we reserved online and \"Why would we hold a reservation for 3 months?\" We could either all share one bed in a single room, or contact the website to initiate a refund. I stepped outside, called the website and began the process. They (the website) needed to speak with the front desk to confirm information but they didn't pick up. I had to go back inside to make sure the call went through. After some rather off color comments about person on the website not being American and criticizing the fact she had an accent and wasn't American, the front desk confirmed that the refund process was started. There was not apology from this person. While finishing on the phone with the website, the manager called to \"see if we were still coming for our reservation.\" I called her back, found it was the manager and explained the situation. She was very polite and apologetic and not at all pleased with the front desk person passing on the blame and being so rude. She had told him earlier that they did have a room reserved for us but understands why we chose to look elsewhere.

Upon arriving at the property and getting the key I was truly taken aback by the fact that the room did not have heat! We were offered a small space heater that we could rent for a $5 cash deposit, refundable once we turned it back in at checkout. I was beyond shocked! Is heat in the dead of winter now considered a luxury? And What if i didnt have $5? We would have just had to freeze to death? The bed was clean and comfortable but pushed all the way to the wall which was uncomfortable for my girl who had to climb over me to get to the bathroom!!! The bathroom seemed clean at first but upon closer inspection it was not very clean at all. The shower was hot with a nice temp but the showerhead was positioned right above the curtain on the wrong side! And the curtain did absolutely nothing to hold the water inside. Water went everywhere and everything in the bathroom was soaking wet after just a quick shower. The next thing was the roach infestation! All over the floor, walls, counters, all surfaces of the room were roaches crawling absolutely everywhere! We put all of our snacks and everything in the fridge. The absolute worst part was we were sitting there watching tv and a FRIGGIN MOUSE falls out of the ceiling vent onto the floor and scurries behind the dresser! It ran into the bathroom under a towel and i stomped it dead and flushed it down the toilet! My girl was terrified to sleep! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Cockroaches everywhere, horrific rooms where half the lights didn't work, furniture falling apart, stains everywhere, smelled awful. Staff was nice but this was genuinely the worst motel I've ever stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot of bad motels. I counted over 30 cockroaches in my 3 days there. Having to fully wash out my car and bags today because they seemed to have crawled into them. Unbelievably awful experience.

Very nasty and dirty. Roaches were everywhere. I saw them on the wall, floor, and even crawling on the bed. The safety lock on my door was broken. The window unit AC was installed haphazardly and there was a big gap where anyone could look in. It looked as if people of questionable character were living there also. People were sitting outside rooms in the parking lot smoking and watching everything. I was actually worried about leaving my car unattended. I am an animal lover but some had loud dogs and I saw a cat in another window. I didn't stay. I immediately checked out. The guy at the front desk was very rude and would not give me a refund. I found a deal online and booked a room at the Motel 6 next door. I was more than happy with my stay at the Motel 6. It was a thousand times better than the Red Carpet Inn. I contacted Hotels.com to get a refund. They were very helpful and got me an immediate refund. I also suggested that they remove this business from their website. I use Hotels.com often and I know this is not a place that they would want to or should promote whatsoever.

A Weekend to Remember

Before I tell you my experience, just remember you get what you pay for…Upon arrival, I was not impressed with the motel. There were sketchy characters around but none that made me feel unsafe. My reservation was double-booked so I had to settle for a different room. The receptionist was very polite and accommodating. My room was comfortable and had an AMAZING shower! The only downside was the roach infestation and the condom I found in my room…Overall, my stay was pretty good. I would recommended to those who are on a tight budget.
SIDE NOTE: the motel says they serve breakfast but I was not told there was breakfast available. If you go, make sure you check if that amenity is available because I was a little disappointed with not being able to eat breakfast during my stay.

I did not actually get to stay. I paid and reserved this room 2 weeks in advance for a business trip. I arrive to check in and the gentleman greets me by saying “what do you want?” I told him I was here to check in and he tells me he doesn’t have a room. After I explained I have already reserved a room he said “lot of people reserved rooms but we gave them away.” The lobby had a bad musty smell like cat urine and dirty laundry. Overall bad experience with this hotel.

Crappiest hotel I've ever seen. I had roaches crawling out of my suitcase after 1 night. I couldn't even stay the second night I had already paid for. No security on the windows due to the air conditioning unit. And it wasn't even sealed. It stunk so bad i had to burn candles and febreeze it every half hour. Totally disgusted.

If i could give 0 stars i would. No tv, no internet, no free breakfast as advertised, drugs, homeless, and crime all over property. Charged me for my PSD animal (psychiatric service dog) wh8ch is protected under ADA. Floors where rough shape, only 2 towles in room dark parking lot not safe at all. Normally im ok with lower end hotels as im just there to rest but this one i didnt even feel remotely secure or safe in. Tried to upload pictures but app wont let me for some reason.

This hotel is the worst hotel and it’s not safe. The hotel provides space heaters to heat your room. There is gabs in the door that lets in air . The windows have shower curtain rods for curtain rods. The furniture has missing parts and the edges are sharp. I fell going up concrete stairs cause elevator is broke. Tv doesn’t work. Only 1 towel in room. Wires hanging off walls bed is sunken mattress. Don’t stay Here!! It shouldn’t even be considered a hotel. The Desk clerk even stated it should be torn due wn!! Bad hotel -10

I arrived late at night in the rain. I asked for a 1st floor unit and was told they are reserved for people with disabilities. I got a third floor unit and the elevator does not work. The stairs were unsafe with the broken concrete and with some stairs partially repaired with wood slabs. The room had been smoked in. The window a/c was installed with plywood covering the remaining hole-not secure, anyone could break into the room. Dog feces was on the walk ways. The ice machine was out and the front desk has frozen blocks of ice to give out. The bath sink has old cuts from a sharp object. There was some type of old fan control on the wall that was damaged and said \"caution high voltage\". The door lock had duct tape on it. I have photos of everything and i want a refund.

We booked a room 3 months prior to showing up. When we arrived the RUDE guy at the desk didn't even say Hi or anything but looked at us and said we needed to \"hit the road because he didn't have anything available\". He then proceeded to curse at us, even calling me a b****. I would have appreciated if our booking would have been honored. There wasn't even but 10 cars in the parking lot. On retrospect, I am glad we didn't stay here because it was a DUMP! The floors were nasty, counter didn't look like it had been cleaned in months, and the parking lot was full of trash. The management definitely needs to get a handle on the guy who works the desk in the evenings!

Worst hotel ever

The doors were broken there were boards on the windows. There were cigarette burn marks in the sink in the bathroom, the smoke detectors were missing and in drawers instead of where they should be, there were bad water damaged spots on the floor and cracks and breaks in the floor. This building should have been condemned not put out as a hotel for people to stay in this was the worst trip I've ever been on hotel wise. Also there was false advertisement because it said there was breakfast and free Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi barely worked and they said they've had no free breakfast since covid started!

Window for the room was cracked and you could hear every bit of the highway. Bathroom had a total of 2 towels, either of which were big enough to dry off with if you were to take a shower. The bed didn't even have a fitted sheet on it and looked like it was over 10 years old and never cleaned. The safety latch was missing the part that attached to the door, meaning if a key was doubled made people would have been able to jion us. Some of the steps were wobbly and I almost tripped while climbing up, as well as the fact that when we attempted to take the elevator back to the ground level the door never opened and we waited for about 5 minutes.

So many cockroaches!

So many cockroaches! On the walls, on the floor, in the bathroom, in the bed. I thought I killed all of the ones I spotted on the walls before I left, but when I came back from dinner there were even more on the walls. They were even under the comforter in the sheets..I've never asked for a refund or given up a hotel room but I was really tempted to do that this time. I slept with my clothes on so I wouldn't wake up with cockroachea on me. I'll never stay there again.

Know who you do business with.

We reserved a room for three nights thru Hotels.com


We checked in, paid for the three nights, and went to the room. The door had been forced open and the security apparatus was hanging, inoperable. The door to the adjoining room had been forced open and the security apparatus was hanging inoperable. The smell of the room was rank. The matress is rotting. I saw roaches.

I went to the desk and said we were checking out. The deskperson said there are no refunds.

He said the hotel would falsify their record to indicate that, rather than checking out, we switched to another room. That given room was not actually in use at the time, but they pretended it was. Thereby the hotel could rent the room we had paid for to someone else.

We went to another property and have asked Hotels.com to secure a full refund for us.

During 2-day stay they never cleaned room, made beds or replaced used towles. I persomally squashed 6 bugs (too big to be bed bugs, thank god for small favors). And saw at least 2 more that I couldn’t catch. Bed was awful and sagged seriously in the middle.
