Be prepared to bring earplugs to be able to sleep due to the fire station nearby... You'll be treated to the noise of sirens multiple times a night. Was also disappointed to find the hinges on the door to the room loose when we arrived, it was difficult to open and close the door because of this. The condition was such that surely the cleaning staff and previous guests were aware of this issue and had mentioned it. If I were the manager of the property I would have been embarrased to have guests stay in a room where the door was in that condition.

Exhaust fan didn’t work in the bathroom, TV didn’t work, bar was not open during times they were scheduled to be, they started tearing down parts of breakfast nearly an hour before it was scheduled to end. Overall decently nice and clean hotel, good value and proximity to attractions.

The property was clean, good location, check in was great they even got us in an hour before check in which was greatly appreciated. They only clean rooms every 2 days so we did not have cleaning service for our 2 days stay, but they did bring us a second set of towels the first evening there. Our bathroom toilet was not super clean but still acceptable, the rest of the bathroom including shower was super clean. We did put garbage bags out after first night and asked front desk for replacements, they did not have the size needed handy but we gave our room number and they said they would be replaced, that never happened. We just used the wastebaskets without bags for the remainder of our stay- not our choice. We would stay here again if ever in the Louisville area again, the pros definitely outway the cons here.

Hotel is dated with only apparent upgrades to the main lobby and a funky looking bathroom faucet.
Bed was very uncomfortable, creeked any time I moved, and not level so I felt like I was going to roll out of it. Could hardly call the pillows a pillow as they were barely thicker than the pillowcases.
Thin walls and could hear everything inside and outside building making sleep difficult.
Card keys wouldn't work for me and at least 3 other guests when trying to check in around midnight so we had to have security open our room doors. Front desk staff chalked it up to \"happens around this time every day\" which is crazy that this is a known issue but the hotel hasn't done anything to fix it. For a city known to have people out late at night, I imagine this becomes a major bottleneck and frustration on busier nights.
Breakfast was below average with rubbery eggs and a juice machine that didn't work half the time.
I've stayed at many Hampton Inn's, and this one ranks amongst the bottom. Won't be staying here again unless they do a major overhaul.

Nice room and overall very good. TV remote needs batteries or replaced. Do Not Disturb sign falls off easily. Could be better. Heat/AC unit quite noisy. Fire station nearby also noisy at times, though not much you can do about it. Thanks.

Our stay was just ok. We stayed for 2 days for an event. Upon arrival I was charged $100 incidental fee but was told I would only get $80 back as they charge $20 for parking. This was never mentioned prior and was only mentioned because I asked. They actually charged me $20 per night so $40 total. The parking lot is not gated or restricted in any way and there were homeless people everywhere asking for money any time we left. Not an issue except we are $20 per night to park. The pool area has no hot tub and the pool is really nothing special and no bathroom in the pool area. The rooms were worn down with very uncomfortable pillows and beds. The beds appeared to be dirty and wrinkled making me think they weren’t cleaned. Very small TVs with limited streaming. The refrigerator area was leaking water and wilted. In the bathroom, the hardware was falling off and the toilet barely flushed. Our housekeeper was very nice and helpful as well as a man keeping the dining area stocked and clean but the rest of the staff left much to be desired and seemed to be bothered to have to do their job. The hotel got the job done but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The room was \"basic\" at best. When I originally booked the photo/description said it would have a couch (that pulled out if needed) and yet is was a small bedroom with a queen size bed no couch. The bathroom was not very clean. The white tiles had black hair strains on the tub and even on the white bath towels. I do not have long black hair. The lobby and breakfast were nice but every time I went to the lobby in the middle of the night the \"secuity\" was playing on his phone tucked away in the dinning room. I was down at 4:30am because my son was leaving for Marine boot camp and again a little before 6am for breakfast. Both times he wasn't patroling. Normally I wouldn't care but to pay nearly $300 for the night (the hotel was not my choice it was the hotel the Marine recruit was using so to be with my son one last night I paid it) and then to come down the next morning to having my car broken into while secuity was on duty is unacceptable. When we let the front desk know the news after we checked out that our car was vandalized and our belongings were strone all over our car they just gave us a number to call and offered no further help. They were no help and since I knew if I had stayed to wait on a police officer to come I would have missed my sons swearing in ceremony so we did go ahead and leave. For the kind of money they charge you expect a clean, safe place that is as described on the advertisement. We got none of that.

They followed up on both my Expedia reservations when Expedia said they could not find my initial reservation at $327. They wanted to know if I was still coming. I thought that very courteous of the Hampton Inn staff. How could they have the initial reservation but Expedia c/s could not. The room was cleanly, the breakfast nice and the hotel staff was attentive and checked in twice to see if all was ok, twice. I always use Hampton Inn’s and will in the future. I’m nice impressed with Expedia and not being helpful to find my reservation. I got a confirmation number and an email of confirmation. I was to pay when I arrived. They caused me stress and anxiety.

Really liked driving convenience just down the ramp from Interstate.
Walked to YUM stadium and walked for dining.

Overall it is economical, so that is what draws us there. I wish they would just serve real eggs and real sausage which is so much better for you then eggwhite fritadas. . But there were other choices so that is on me.
My biggest complaint was the hard really hard mattress. sucked.. but I survived.

Very noisy due to being on a main road but that may not be the hotel’s fault. My complaint is my room’s toliet didn’t work and after the guy came to fix it it still didn’t flush. I also asked for a wake-up call at 0800 and that never happened . But I did receive a call an hour later luckily was already up. Breakfast is nice, facility is nice but the small detail for comfort have meaning to a customer.

Clean room, nice staff. Hot breakfast looked great, but the taste was far from great, however lots of other options for cereal, make your own waffles, bagels, toast, etc. Most of the outlets in the room did not work which is far from ideal. Great location for the KFC Yum center, walked to it in under 5 minutes and felt safe. Also between the hotel and KFC Yum center was a great little small town area with a lot of dinning options.

There was a hair in the bathtub, clear tape on the ceiling, and candy under the couch, which made it feel like the room wasn't well cleaned. The location was fine, but there was a lot of outside noise that was audible in the room, especially at night. Both the bed and couch consistently creaked when I sat on them and/or shifted my body (for reference , I weigh 160 pounds). The digital key consistently took multiple tries to unlock the door. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and accommodating.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the air conditioner in my room. I told the front staff and somebody was ready to fix it within 3 minutes.

The hotel is also very close to many of the places I wanted to visit.

The guving of ice cold water to concert goers on returning was AWESOME and very much appreciated. Especiallly afte Yum! Center AC didnt come on until the concert was over. Couple that with standing in line on a 90 degree day, and it was hot! Ghost performed very well, and despite the heat all enjoyed the show but the A/\"C in the room was lackluster at best and horrid at worst. The noise from trash collectors at 6 a.m. in a saturday morning afyer a big concert was extremeyl rude.
Most woild be able to be overlooked, but at $200plus a night, i expect better.

Literal fireworks!

Outstanding. Our room had a wonderful view of the river and the July 3rd fireworks nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine and the dining rooms were (compared to other hotels) spacious and comfortable. A short walk to a large number of downtown restaurants.
